Team Chunk Error is a group of players that find (AKA create) "chunk errors" all over the server.
The Roof Border Society is a group founded by AntVenom with the goal of forming a thriving communist society on the Nether Roof. This group is closely associated with Team Chunk Error, so they're all listed here as one entity.
Preferred name: Ant
AntVenom is one of the 12 original SMPLive members, being a late addition in the day. He is the founder of the Roof Border Society and Schlatt's Sitcom Arch-Nemesis. He clashes with Schlatt due to him loving the disc Stal, which Schlatt hates. He even goes as far as to create a rival cryptocurrency, known as Hankcoin. He is treated somewhat like a celebrity on the server due to being a famous Minecraft YouTuber in the early 2010s, and someone that many of the other members looked up to.
- Cool Old Guy: Despite not being significantly older than the other members, Ant gets treated as the cool old guy due to many of his servermates having watched his content in their childhood.
- Famed In-Story: AntVenom is looked up to by a lot of the other server members due to his Minecraft videos.
- Iconic Outfit: Especially his amulet. Ant's skin has remained the same for years, and he's well known among the server's members, cementing his outfit as iconic.
- The Leader: He's the founder and leader of the Roof Border Society, and also is viewed as a respected authority figure by the other server members in general.
- Nice Guy: Ant tends to be on good terms with most other server members, and is friendly with everyone, though does find it amusing to rile people up and antagonize them at times.
- Rivals Team Up: Schlatt and AntVenom team up to kill the Ender Dragon, despite their initial conflict over the music disc Stal.
- Shipper on Deck: When Connor accidentally implies that he and Schlatt are married, Ant immediately starts teasing them by encouraging them to kiss.Ant: I mean, if you two are married now, you gotta kiss now.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: AntVenom and Schlatt have a rivalry over their different opinions on the music disc Stal, which Ant enjoys and Schlatt absolutely despises, being a major Single-Issue Wonk for him.
- Straw Vegetarian: Ant becomes one when he's server cop, as he decides to enforce a ban on all animal products.
- Those Two Guys: Michaelmcchill is his co-streamer, frequently being seen together and commentating on whatever's currently going on around them.
- Torment by Annoyance: Ant gets a kick out of irritating some of his friends (and enemies) on the server by pressing their buttons as much as possible.
Preferred name: Beef
BeefStew is a member of SMPLive that joined on March 5, 2019. He is a member of Team Chunk Error, and is most well known for his gigantic melon farm and large castle base built entirely out of melons. He is GrizzlyPlays's ex after a rather disastrous date on the server.
- Absurd Phobia: His biggest fear is apparently taxes.
- Amazing Technicolor Population: He's neon green.
- Bizarrchitecture: Beef has an odd fixation on building large, complex structures entirely out of melons.
- Black Bead Eyes: Purple, but beady nonetheless.
- Dissonant Serenity: His reaction to being dropped through lava into Schlatt & Co.'s fake complaint chest chamber? Nodding and saying "nice".
- Down on the Farm: Beef is best known for having the biggest melon farm on the server, a giant island that Wilbur and RTGame squat on.
- Shout-Out: His skin is Lex the Bookworm from Bookworm Adventures.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Melons — he has a dedicated farm to them and uses them as building materials.
Preferred name: Dinkster
DinksterDaily is a member of SMPLive who joined on April 13, 2019, and a member of Team Chunk Error. He is most notable for his redstone creations, of which he has built many on the server. He also loves to fish and owns a fishing shop in Spawn City.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Dinkster is highly skilled with redstone and creates a lot of contraptions around the server.
- Gratuitous German: Dinkster is German, and will sometimes start speaking in it when annoyed or to insult people in a way they can't understand.
Preferred name: Burren
King Burren is a member of SMPLive who joined on May 18, 2019, after being invited by Ted Nivison. He is a member of the Roof Border Society, and well-known for having the most deaths on the server. In addition to this, he also frequently acts as a lawyer in the many court cases of the server, and is skilled at PVP, having won against both CaptainSparklez and AntVenom in the arena.
- Death Is Cheap: Burren has the most deaths of any SMPLive player, with a death count over 2 thousand.
- Death Seeker: Burren frequently seeks out death as he aims to have the highest death count on the whole server.
Preferred name: Michael
Michaelmcchill is AntVenom's co-streamer, and a member of the Roof Border Society and Team Chunk Error. He tried to apply to work at Schlatt & Co., but instead quickly became an enemy of them due to them believing him to be "Brine" (Herobrine).
- Got Me Doing It: Michael ends up picking up Schlatt's "bye-bye" Verbal Tic after spending a day following him around.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Michael gets angry very easily over minor transgressions, and he tends to raise his voice and yell very loudly when he does.
- Insistent Terminology: During the Second Spawn Building Event, when Schlatt says "we're in a giant hole", Michael repeatedly and loudly corrects him by saying "chunk error".
- Those Two Guys: AntVenom is his co-streamer, frequently being seen together and commentating on whatever's currently going on around them.
- Unknown Rival: When he first joins, he is very angry at Schlatt for not putting him on his SMPLive tier list and forms a short-lived one-sided rivalry with him, until the two actually meet and he realizes Schlatt has nothing against him.
Preferred name: Poke
Pokay is one of the 12 original SMPLive members, and a member of Team Chunk Error. He has the second highest death count on the server after King Burren, and has a line of legendary diamond pickaxes that are all named asspenis. He is a skilled PVPer, though also has a bit of a Cloudcuckoolander personality.
- Amazing Technicolor Population: Poke has pink skin.
- Ambiguously Human: Poke appears as a humanoid creature with pink skin, and it's never made clear what exactly he is.
- Badasses Wear Bandanas: Poke wears a bandana around his head and can dish out asskickings as needed.
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Poke is highly skilled in PVP and also a massive Cloudcuckoolander.
- Cloudcuckoolander: One of the largest on the server, right next to Travis — he frequently makes strange noises and blurts out total nonsense, has a collection of axes named "asspenis", has an odd fixation on sea pickles, and once goes on a whole rant about how much he hates pigeons in the middle of a court case where he's being sued for being racist towards pigeons.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: He might be a dumbass, but he's a dumbass that can sure as hell hold his own in a fight.
- Eyepatch of Power: He's a skilled fighter who wears an eyepatch. No reason is ever given for his eyepatch beyond it just looking cool.
- Fantastic Racism:
- Gets sued for being racist towards pigeons. Immediately starts ranting about how much he despises pigeons.
- In "My Son is Attacked"
, he says to Cooper (an anthropomorphic fish), "Who cares about you? You're a fish". He later punches Cooper into Toxxxic and Dinkster's aquarium.
- I Call It "Vera":
- All of his axes are named "asspenis".
- All of his bows, similarly, are named "Onkers".
- Iconic Outfit: Although he has said he likes seeing people draw his persona in different outfits, he is mostly associated with his green-and-purple one.
- Large Ham: Poke is highly dramatic in very bizarre ways, typically speaking loudly and using odd word choice.
- Not Helping Your Case: Mikey decides to counter-sue Poke for "racism" towards pigeons, which Poke responds to by talking about how much he hates pigeons.
- The Prankster: Poke frequently plays pranks on other members of the server.
- Sleeves Are for Wimps: He's a skilled combatant who wears a sleeveless outfit.
- Those Two Guys:
- With Sneeg, sometimes bordering on falling into Heterosexual Life-Partners. They frequently banter in this way.
- Also with James, who he similarly banters with often. Sometimes this falls into Vitriolic Best Buds.
- Verbal Tic: "Auuhhhh" is a frequent one.

RoastedJames is a member of SMPLive who joined on April 18, 2019, after being invited by Pokay. He is a member of Team Chunk Error and makes videos commentating on the server's events.
- Deadpan Snarker: He's the deadpan to Poke's Large Ham — he speaks in a flat tone and tends to bother Poke and snark at him at any given opportunity.
- Nerves of Steel: James is usually calm and collected, even when those around him are getting themselves into bizarre shenanigans and dragging him along.
- Stiff Upper Lip: James is British and tends to be a deadpan stoic no matter the situation.
- The Stoic: James usually speaks in a deadpan tone and doesn't emote much.
- Those Two Guys: Frequently banters with Poke, sometimes falling into Vitriolic Best Buds.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: James is afraid of CaptainSparklez.
Preferred name: Svyoshinote
Svyoshi is one of SMPLive's few admin players, and is an associate of the Roof Border Society. He created the Wacky Wheel and maintains the billboard in Spawn City. He is rumored to have connections to "Brine", similarly to his ally, Michael.
- Cool Shades: He's a Physical God, and is always seen rocking a pair.
- Gadgeteer Genius: He coded the Wacky Wheel at spawn, which is a functioning minigame.
- God Mode: Svyoshi can use creative mode, and even summons barrier blocks to mess with players at some points.
- Hammerspace: He has access to creative mode due to his role as a server operator, allowing him to infinitely pull blocks and items out of nowhere.
- Invisible Wall: Svyoshi has placed barrier blocks to mess with players on several occasions.
- Physical God: Svyoshi is one of the only SMPLive members with administrator powers.
Preferred name: Gold
YoItsGold is a member of SMPLive and a member of Team Chunk Error. He is a lover of animals and intends to build a zoo on the server.
- Animal Lover: Gold has many pets of all different kinds, wanting to build a zoo for the server.
- Animal Motifs: A more subtle one compared to other server members, but Gold is associated with parrots, as he has many, and is very fond of them.
- Butt-Monkey: Downplayed compared to others on the server, but Gold is still frequently the target of many a player's harassment, especially Cooper.
- Color Motif: If you couldn't guess from his name, Gold's color motif is gold, which sometimes is used to represent balance. On a broader scale, yellow is often used to represent safety, which his zoo would provide to his animals, and a generally friendly nature.
- Lost Pet Grievance: Gold is very upset when Travis accidentally kills his bird Rye, even building a memorial for her.
