  • Big Guy, Little Guy: He's the Little Guy to Groot's Big Guy.
  • Cyborg: Rocket's entire skeletal structure is cybernetic, allowing him to move like a standard sapient but also drop to all fours to move like a quadriped for increased speed and agility.
  • I Am Not Weasel: Peter knows Rocket is a raccoon, but he's been confused with several other species due to the galaxy at large being unfamiliar with Earth's species. And Rocket himself doesn't like being called a raccoon.
  • In-Series Nickname: Badger, Fox, Hamster, Rabbit, Raccoon, Rakka, Rat, Ratchet, Rocky, Rodent, Trash Panda, Weasel.
  • Logical Weakness: No matter how strong or fast he is, being so small can impair Rocket's mobility or utility.
  • Made of Iron: Due to various cybernetic implants and genetic engineering, Rocket can survive damage that would normally be sufficient to kill something of his small size.
  • Never Given a Name: He was only known as Subject 89P13 until the patient he was assigned to started calling him "Rakka", before becoming Rocket.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Rocket is well-versed in the use of high-powered firearms, skilled in hand-to-paw combat, and the use and disposal of demolitions. He appears to have learned this on his own, through observing the notes and old war stories from an old, insane military veteran.
  • Stronger Than They Look: Rocket's implants facilitiate great strength. He has strength equal to most athletic sapients.
  • Super-Senses: Many of Rocket's senses are exceptional. He's able to see much better than most. His sense of smell allows him to detect subtle changes in scents around him, enabling to detect the approach of others, increasing ability to operate in darkness. His ears allows him to perceive tones outside the range of most sapient ears, as well as subtle sounds caused by vibrations on the ground. His hypersensitive paws allow him to identify objects before touching them with vibrissae located above his digits.
  • Uplifted Animal: Once a regular Earth raccoon, Rocket was taken to Halfworld when he was only a baby, where extensive cybernetic and genetic enhancements made him just as intelligent as a human.

    Drax the Destroyer
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/drax_the_destroyer_earth_27m.jpg
  • Arch-Enemy: Thanos, for killing half his people, including his wife and daughter.
  • Adaptation Species Change: Similarly to his 2021 videogame incarnation, this version of Drax is a Katathian, instead of a human reincarnated as Drax.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: His signature green skin.
  • Bald Head of Toughness: He's completely bald and easily one of the toughest guys around.

  • In-Series Nickname: Big Guy, Green Meanie, Mr. Big-Words, Mean Green, Muscle-Head, Muscles.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Drax has exceptional physical prowess for a Katathian, allowing him to sprint across battlefields unimpaired by difficult terrain and throw his daggers with lethal precision.
  • Literal-Minded: The Katathian culture does not understand the concepts of either sarcasm or metaphors. However, there is some indication that Drax's time spent with the crew of the Milano has seen him begin to grasp the fundamental basics, though he is still slow to recognize its use in conversations around him.
  • Mythology Gag: Being a former musician who abandoned his warrior ways is a reference to his original comic counterpart Arthur Douglas, who was a musician before he was reincarnated as Drax.
  • Proud Warrior Race Guy: The Katathians are a proud, relatively primitive warrior people with little understanding for sarcasm.
  • Revenge Before Reason: When Drax has an opportunity to move closer to fulfilling his Sylara Xerith, he has a difficult time knowing other considerations, such as his environment, his allies, or other tactical matters.
  • Super-Toughness: Drax is known to be exceptionally difficult to put down. He has survived many fatal injuries and kept fighting. While his muscles and thick Katathian hide can be the cause of some of his ability to ignore minor damage, the rest must be part of his "Xandri Xerith" — or Blood Frenzy, a Katathian battle technique tied to a sacred ritualistic oath of vengeance. When a battle is over, Drax can use his "Keldar Zephira" — or Warrior's Recovery, a ritual of calming that puts Katathians into stasis to accelerate healing.
  • Super-Strength: Even among the Katathians, Drax's strength is quite remarkable. Though there are Katathians much stronger than Drax, few would have the agility and intensity that Drax is also known for. He is an exceptional specimen. It is estimated that Drax can lift the area of 40 — 60 Kree Kerrags.
  • Tattoo as Character Type: His face and torso are full of tattoos as part of his culture's coming of age rituals.
  • Too Much Information: Apparently Drax gave a very detailed explaination of Katathian mating rituals, to the dismay of Quill.

He can form protective shields, sharp weapons, extend existing limbs, grow new limbs, grow to larger sizes, thicken his protective bark layers, and much more.

He can regrow lost limbs almost instantly and heal minor injuries rapidly — even during combat, rendering him highly resistant to incapacitation and death.
  • Plant Person: He's a Flora Colossus and looks like a humanoid tree.
  • Pokémon Speak: Groot only says 'I am Groot'.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: Groot's wooden body is highly susceptible to fire and intense heat. Utilizing incendiary weaponry or energy-based attacks can significantly weaken or incapacitate him.
