Main Characters

    Seiji Aino
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/seiji_aino.png
Voiced by: Kensho Ono (Japanese), Austin Tindle (English)

The main protagonist.

  • Amazon Chaser: Akua suggests he likes strong women.
  • Blessed with Suck:
    • While having a harem of ultra powerful attractive girls would be normally awesome, all of them are crazy and he has to deal with their insanity on a regular basis.
    • Seiji's immortality does not come with the Required Secondary Powers of being impervious to pain.
  • Butt-Monkey: The guy never wanted to be part of any of the nonsense Guri brought to his life.
  • Chick Magnet: As the protagonist of a harem anime, this goes without saying.
  • Curtains Match the Window: While not as noticeable, he has blue eyes too.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He often has a dry wit.
  • The Generic Guy: There's nothing totally special about him. In Guri's words he's 'kinda boring'.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Seiji goes from calm to extremely angry with minimal provocation.
  • I Just Want to Be Normal: The guy just wanted a normal relationship, then he met Guri and his crush turned out to be a yandere. He was already in a rather weird relationship with Akane to begin with.
  • Immortality Hurts: Since Guri is part of his harem, he's immortal. That said, he can still feel pain.
  • Innocently Insensitive: He sometimes acts this way around Guri or the other girls.
  • Iron Butt Monkey: By virtue of the Kiss Note, he's a Complete Immortal and cannot die from being stabbed and as such is frequently suffering Amusing Injuries.
  • A Lady on Each Arm: He frequently has Akane and Guri clinging to his arms.
  • Meaningful Name: Half of his surname means love.
  • Nice Guy: The poor guy tries to treat his harem well despite the fact that they're crazy.
  • Oh, Crap!: Whenever Akane goes into yandere mode and uses her kukris on him.
  • Only Sane Man: He's probably the one with the most common sense out of the main characters.
  • Pals with Jesus: One of his haremettes is God's daughter.
  • The Straight Man: Identifies himself as Guri's Straight Man.
  • What Does She See in Him?:
    • As with most harem protagonists, everyone (including himself) wonder how someone average like Seiji could possibly attract people like Akane and Guri.
    • Inverted with Akane. For those who know Akane's true nature, they wonder what a Nice Guy like Seiji saw in her.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Yuzu calls out Seiji when his refusal to answer Guri's feelings of doubt turns her into a demon.

    Guri
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/renai_boukun_guri.png
Voiced by: Yoshino Aoyama (Japanese), Jad Saxton (English)

An irresponsible cupid.

  • Amusing Injuries: Akane tries to kill her very often, resulting in non-lethal injuries but it barely inconveniences her.
  • Became Their Own Antithesis: Near the end of the series, thanks to Seiji not properly conveying his feelings to her she becomes a cold, workaholic, surprisingly-intelligent demon. Heck, even her color scheme inverts (with her hair becoming an example of Light Is Not Good by way of White Hair, Black Heart, and her clothes having a "Dark Is Evil"-styled Evil Costume Switch).
  • Big Eater: Often chowing down on lots of snacks
  • Born of Heaven and Hell: Is actually God's daughter with a demon mother. Her appearance is a mixture of angel and demon with black angel wings and fangs. She also gets white and black stripe horns and black bat wings as a demon while as an angel she gets a halo and white angel wings.
  • Cosplay Otaku Girl: She's into games and manga, and likes dressing up often. Her default clothes happen to be a cosplay outfit.
  • Cute Little Fangs: Sports a pair of these thanks to her demonic heritage, which compliments her "cute" persona.
  • Deuteragonist: She's one of the main causes of the plot, and one of the two Myth Arcs is her learning about love (with Seiji acting as her Cloudcuckoolander's Minder in the meantime).
  • Expressive Hair: Her Idiot Hair moves in accordance with her mood, like wagging when she's curious.
  • Fallen Cupid: Even though she's a cupid, she has no understanding of love, and when she asks Seiji whether he was worried about her or not and he says she has been "nothing but a pain" since they met, the impact of the hurtful words turns her into a demon with black wings and horns, and she starts breaking people up or making them fight each other by stabbing them with a pitchfork and thus "getting red of their love." She goes back to being cupid after Seiji confronts her and realizing that she wanted to feel loved by him all along.
Guri: My apologies, but the Guri you knew no longer exists.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: She has black bat wings as a demon while as an angel she gets a halo and white angel wings.
  • Idiot Hair: A strand of her hair sticks up.
  • Idiot Hero: A lot of problems have happened due to her not being very smart.
  • In Love with Love: Guri is infatuated with the idea of being in love but doesn't understand it, which is a problem since she's a cupid.
  • Manic Pixie Dream Girl: Intermixed with Genki Girl, Guri is wastefully enthusiastic about everything she does.
  • Meta Guy: She frequently Lampshades the cliche Harem Genre situations that occur in the story.
  • Moment Killer: A Running Gag is of her ruining moments between Akane and Seiji, such as walking up to them in a Modesty Towel when Akane and Seiji were about to kiss.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: She accidentally writes Seiji's name in her notebook at the start of the series.
  • Non-Human Humanoid Hybrid: The daughter of God and a demon.
  • Physical God: Not only is she a cupid, but she's also God's actual daughter.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Doesn't mind being seen naked by other people, walking out of the shower in the buff right in front of Akua. Zig-Zagged since she rationalizes she's covered by Censor Steam and Lens Flare Censor.
  • Spanner in the Works: She always manages to foil Shikimi's plans and manipulations, without even meaning to, causing Shikimi to start holding a grudge against her.
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Her accidental writing of Seiji's name in her Kiss Note sets the whole plot of the series in motion.
  • What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: Her arc revolves around her trying to figure out what love is. She eventually figures out it's not just about loving someone, but having someone love you back as well.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Most of the couples she writes in her notebook are male x male, which are not always picture-perfect like the trope suggests (just imagine two old guys vehemently and surreptitiously frenching each other on live TV). Of course, Seiji and Coraly are horrified by this.
  • Yuri Fan: BL isn't the only kind of forbidden love Guri is into.

    Akane Hiyama
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/akane_hiyama.png
Voiced by: Manami Numakura (Japanese), Amber Lee Connors (English)

The school idol. She's in love with Seiji and will react very violently when any girl gets near him.

  • Accidental Pervert: Akane accidentally ends up walking in on Seiji bathing when she hears him screaming and he has a girlish Naked Freak-Out.
  • Ax-Crazy: Akane goes absolutely nuts wielding kukuris whenever she gets jealous of Seiji's relationships with other girls.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: She fell for Seiji when he said she was kind, even though he was blinded at the time. This meant he truly meant it, and wasn't influenced by lust.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Akane is quite well endowed and her bust size is often Played for Laughs or Fanservice and is a major reason why she's such a Dude Magnet. She's even introduced boobs first, with plenty of bouncing. The anime opening also draws attention to her breasts often.
  • Charles Atlas Superpower: She has done some superhuman feats and isn't stated to have any special powers compared to Yuzu.
  • Characterization Marches On: Initially she has no problem trying to kill her half sister when she thinks she is trying to rob her boyfriend, this is somewhat discordant, when after this it is shown that she is very protective of her half sister.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: In Akane's language, having a regular conversation with a female equals cheating and thus Seiji cannot approach any woman for their own sake.
  • Color Motif: She heavily associated with red, being a redhead with red eyes who can manifest red Battle Aura when angry. Her name Akane is even the Japanese word for 'deep red'.
  • Combat Haircomb: Akane's hair decorations are actually a switchblade.
  • Curtains Match the Window: She's a redhead with red eyes.
  • Dark Action Girl: She was trained since childhood to be a deadly assassin.
  • Deconstructed Character Archetype: Her character is a deconstruction of Yanderes trying to Justify her behaviour. Since she was young, she was put through Training from Hell by her mother to become an Emotionless Girl and a cold killer, and the personality she put on at school was her being a Fake Cutie. The fact that she always stabs Seiji when angered or tries to kill any girl that comes close to him is due to the fact that she was taught that Murder Is the Best Solution. She resented being a Dude Magnet due to people liking her for her looks and the fake personality she puts on while she only saw herself as a monster. She first met Seiji while he was blinded by his cat, and when she helped him find it, he called her a kind person. He was unable to see who she was at the time, which meant he wasn't lying to impress her and wasn't influenced by her beauty, which made her develop a crush on him, and due to it being a First Time Feeling it grew obsessive with time.
  • Dude Magnet: Every male in the school wants a piece of her as they lust over her, Seiji becomes the lucky one though.
  • Emotionless Girl: Was raised to be one, as her mother saw her having empathy for others as a weakness, this changed when she first met Seiji.
  • Establishing Character Moment: She's pantsed by Guri in her first appearance, but shows no reaction to it until she learns Seiji has kissed Guri and becomes livid that he "cheated" on her, despite him pointing out they aren't even dating.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Not even Akane can bring herself to brutally murder a pregnant woman. She also outright referred to Shikimi as a psychopath.
  • Fiery Redhead: She's a redhead, and she has a fiery temper when she gets angry.
  • First Time Feeling: Her crush on Seiji grew to be so obsessive since he was the first person that actually saw something good in her that wasn't part of her Fake Cutie persona.
  • Friend to All Living Things: Even when she was an Emotionless Girl she showed some empathy and kindness to animals, who also seem to like her back. Her helping a blind Seiji with his cat Blue was actually what spurred him calling her kind and triggered her crush on him.
  • Hidden Depths: She looks like a standard insane Yandere at first, but later in the story she shows to be have a better grasp of her emotions than the other girls, actually behaves friendly and normally towards Mari, and does seem to genuinely care about her half-sister Yuzu.
  • Hypocritical Heartwarming: She is capable of stabbing Seiji for trifles, but will develop a murderous rage if anyone dares to scratch him.
"Only I'm allowed to hurt my Seiji!"
  • Killing Intent: She starts to manifest a Battle Aura whenever she gets jealous.
  • Kukris Are Kool: Uses kukuris. She can store at least six of them somewhere on her person, and pulls a few out of hammerspace when attacking.
  • Last Lousy Point: She would have killed Guri several times already other than the fact that because of their contract, Guri can't be harmed by anything Akane does to her (not that Akane could in the first place, as Guri is a divine being).
  • Leitmotif: Her stabby moments are occasionally accompanied by snips of "Dance of the Knights," from Prokofiev's ballet score for Romeo and Juliet.
  • Lovable Alpha Bitch: She's the most popular girl in school, due to beauty, Fake Cutie personality and being an Academic Athlete.
  • Love Makes You Dumb:
  • Meaningful Name: Rather appropriate for a Fiery Redhead to have a name that has the word 'aka' (red) in it.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Due to her good looks, athletic body and sizable chest she's often the character most played for Fanservice.
  • Murder Is the Best Solution: Akane's first solution is any problem is to use her kukris on them.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: She will kill any woman she perceives as a rival for Seiji's love.
  • One-Man Army:
    • Akane manages to defeat hordes of demons and even Cerebus in her search for Seiji in Hell.
    • In the RPG world, she defeats every enemy in her path and kills the Demon Lord (of the RPG world).
  • Post-Kiss Catatonia: She forgets all about wanting to kill Guri when Seiji kisses her, being struck in a daze for some time.
  • Psycho Knife Nut: A Yandere whose weapon is a pair of kukris she dual wields.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Her eyes are already naturally red, but they start to shine even brighter when she becomes filled with Killing Intent.
  • Red Is Violent: She is a Yandere with anger issues and a red Color Motif.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: She doesn't mind being seen in her underwear or in Barely-There Swimwear, since she likes it when Seiji ogles her and doesn't care when other people do.
  • Single-Target Sexuality: She loves Seiji and only Seiji.
  • Sitcom Archnemesis: She despises Guri for not wanting to share Seiji with her and their rivalry is often played for humor as it is for drama.
  • Sociopathic Hero: A crazy yandere who is on the side of heroes.
  • Sugar-and-Ice Personality: She can change from a kind girl to a violent, murderous Yandere.
  • Tritagonist: Co-Tritagonists with Yuzu, as one of the Myth Arcs has to do with their backstories, and family backgrounds.
  • True Beauty Is on the Inside: Akane is an extremely beautiful woman, but Seiji, despite being terrified of her and her stabbing him at times with her Kukri knives, he still sees her as a warmhearted person and deeply loves her.
  • Villain Protagonist: Played for Laughs. Being a Yandere in a Harem Genre she's often an obstacle, at least in the beginning of the story and Guri calls her "the villain of the story" a couple of times.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Any harm that comes to Seiji will be met with her wrath. Two robbers found this out the hard way when they just grazed Seiji's arm with a bullet; Akane promptly beats the crap out of them.
  • World's Most Beautiful Woman: She's considered the most beautiful girl in school as every male student wants her, too bad for them as she only loves Seiji.
  • Yamato Nadeshiko: Akane is beautiful and graceful.
  • Yandere: She draws knives on people, including Seiji, at the slightest provocation. When she found out that the cupid's contract made them both unkillable, Akane proceeded to stab Seiji quite a bit for being a "homewrecker". In some ways, its deconstructed through her backstory, as she was raised to be an emotionless killer by her mother and taught that violence is the best solution to most problems. Seiji was the first person who ever made her feel any emotions at all. Combine these two facts about her life together, and well, it's no wonder she acts the way she does.

    Yuzu Kichougasaki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yuzu_kichougasaki.png
Voiced by: Yuki Nagano (Japanese), Monica Rial (English)

Akane's half-sister from a different mother.

  • Accidental Kiss: She wanted to kiss Akane but she tripped and accidentally kissed Seiji. This becomes a Running Gag.
  • Barrier Warrior: She possesses the ability to conjure a powerful defensive barrier around her, something that is common for the Kichougasaki family.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: She's in love with her half-sister.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Even though she doesn't like Seiji, she reacts with horror to the idea of killing him to get Akane.
  • Girlish Pigtails: Yuzu usually has her hair in huge, curled pigtails, fitting her properness.
  • Girly Run: Runs like this when she and the others are being chased by all the ghosts in the school.
  • Hopeless Suitor: She has an enormous unrequited crush on Akane.
  • Hypocritical Humor: She hates stalkers despite being a HUGE one for her half-sister.
  • Ojou: She's the "princess" of the Kichougasaki and has several attendants to dote on her.
  • Only Sane by Comparison: It says something about the three main girls when the incestuous Stalker with a Crush is the one that is closest to the voice of reason.
  • Perverted Drooling: She makes a Drool Deluge while lusting after Akane.
  • Perverted Sniffing: She sniffs the trash that she steals from Akane's house every morning.
  • Proper Tights with a Skirt: Yuzu wears tights with her school uniform, and she comes from a high-class family.
  • Rescue Romance: She begins to develop feelings for Seiji after he protects her during a robbery.
  • Single Woman Seeks Good Man: She starts showing feelings for Seiji when he Took The Bullet when a robber tried to shoot her. Seiji's genuinely good nature continues to charm her as the story goes on.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Her usual schedule includes stealing Akane's trash... Yuzu has a rather unhealthy obsession with Akane which also includes having a sex doll resembling Akane and even looking forward to bathing in the same bathwater as her beloved half-sister.
  • Tsundere: She starts to develop feelings for Seiji, but still bickers and insults him constantly.
  • Tritagonist: Co-Tritagonists with Akane, as one of the Myth Arcs has to do with their backstories, and family backgrounds.

A teacher. He has a crush on Mari.

  • The Jailbait Wait: He resolves to wait for Mari to graduate and become an adult before pursuing a relationship with her.

The Class Representative of Seiji and Akane's class.

  • Brainy Brunette: A brunette who is quite smart.
  • Damsel in Distress: She's held hostage by criminals early in the story, in a failed plot by Guri to Invoke Rescue Romance by getting Mr. Kusunoki to rescue her.
  • Excellent Judge of Character: She's the only person in school that saw through Akane's Fake Cutie persona and figured out she's attracted to Seiji, as well as being a Clingy Jealous Girl.
  • I Will Wait for You: She had every intention of waiting for Kusunoki-sensei to confess to her, and she wants him to wait for her to graduate and get a good-paying job, since teachers don't have a good salary.
  • Nice Girl: The most straightforward kindhearted character in the story.
  • Teacher/Student Romance: She is fully aware of Kusunoki-sensei's feelings for her and she returns them.

Heaven Characters

    Korari/Coraly

Voiced by: Nobuyuki Hiyama (Japanese), Sonny Strait (English)

Guri's boss who regularly takes over the body of the Aino family cat, Blue in order to assist her and Seiji.

  • Angelic Abomination: He is a divine angelic being in the "classical" sense, meaning that he's not a pretty sight to behold in any shape.
  • Beast with a Human Face: The family cat Blue will have his face on it when he possesses it to interact with the cast.
  • Beleaguered Assistant: Constantly urges Kami-sama to take his job more seriously.
  • Brown Note: His third form causes the souls of anyone who sees it to leave their body.
  • Da Chief: He serves as Guri's supervisor, and indicates that he's served the same role to other angels.
  • Demonic Possession: "Angelic" in his case, but most of his appearances have him possessing Seiji's house cat.
  • Nice Guy: He is, alongside Seiji, the nicest and most straightforward character in the series, other than looking rather disturbing.
  • Our Angels Are Different: His true appearance is a face with six wings, four of which sem to cover the rest of him. This implies he's a Seraph, as it matches descriptions of Seraphs from some versions of the Biblical Scripture.
  • Proud Beauty: Played for Laughs. He's extremely proud of his true form and is distressed by characters get creeped out by it, thinking humans just can't appreciate true beauty.
  • Shapeshifter Default Form: His true form is a Flying Face with 6 wings.
  • Spell My Name With An S: The dub spells his name as "Coraly".

    Maoh

The current ruler of Hell.

Others

    Stolas
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/stolas.png
Voiced by: Kenyuu Horiuchi (Japanese), Kenny Green (English)

A sociopathic demon penguin obsessed with Akua.

  • Arc Villain: He's the villain for stories centered around Akua.
  • Ax-Crazy: He has a serious obsession with Akua and he's willing to hurt anybody who gets in his way.
  • Diabolus ex Nihilo: Played for Laughs. There's no explanation of who he is, where he came from or why he's obsessed with Akua. More amusingly, most characters act like he's a famous entity... except for Guri and Coraly, who despite being supernatural beings themselves, have no idea of what he is.
  • Feathered Fiend: An evil, violent bird.
  • Meaningful Name: One of the most evil characters in the show, who takes the form of a penguin, is named for a Great Prince of Hell that usually takes the form of a bird (though usually an owl or raven, instead of a penguin).
  • Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: His villainy is played relatively straight compared to Akane's Yandere tendencies. That said, his entire goal is to forcibly mate with Akua.
  • Stalker with a Crush: His obsession with Akua is because he wants to mate with her.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Played for Laughs. After he's beaten away by Akane at the beach, he went far away and trained hard, so much that he gains a six-pack.
  • The Voiceless: Technically, although in the anime we hear his thoughts. The characters interpret what he's saying based on his eyes (apparently).

    Shikimi Shiramine
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shikimi_shiramine.png
Voiced by: Yumi Hara (Japanese), Felecia Angelle (English)

A cousin of both Akane and Yuzu, and an enforcer for both of their mothers. She has the ability to create webbing out of nowhere to bind enemies.

  • Alliterative Name: Shikimi Shiramine.
  • Animal Motifs: Spiders. She has a tattoo of one on her back and she wore t-shirts in her youth with a picture of spiders on them. She also has the ability to control a sticky web-like substance and uses stakes like a spider's fangs. She also likes to weave "webs of intrigue".
  • The Dragon: She ends up as one for both Maoh and Suo, doing the actual dirty work against the protagonists on their behalf.
  • Curtains Match the Windows: Pink hair and dark pink eyes.
  • Deal with the Devil: Makes a deal with Maoh, he promised to turn her into a demon if she manipulated Guri into becoming a Fallen Cupid.
  • The Dreaded: Everyone except Guri is terrified at the prospect of having to deal with her. While Akane is not particularly afraid of her, Shikimi is indeed a stronger fighter than Akane by the time she's introduced; this poses a problem not only to Akane herself, but also because it puts Seiji in considerable harm.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Her pupils are heart-shaped.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Flirty, friendly but outright insane. She enjoys stealing or tarnishing things that other people cherish.
  • Foil:
    • To put it bluntly, both Guri and Shikimi start off as asocial self-centered jerks that cause no end of trouble to the people they focus on. However, whereas Guri is Innocently Insensitive and an ultimately well-meaning Cloudcuckoolander, Shikimi is explicitly sadistic and lacks any empathy whatsoever.
    • Interestingly, this is the key of both of their Character Development: the more Shikimi tries to bring Guri down to her level with a new scheme or Breaking Speech, the more Guri ends up pulling her up to hers in the resolution when someone else — usually Seiji — proves a different point than the one Shikimi was trying to make, teaching both girls to be better people.
  • Four Eyes, Zero Soul: Beneath those spectacles lies a cold, manipulative sociopath.
  • Freudian Excuse:
    • Shikimi is a Tyke-Bomb whose sadistic psychopathy was tolerated and encouraged by her caretakers because it makes her an useful Psycho for Hire. However, she was never treated as anything better than a humanoid attack dog and mostly remained ignored in silent contempt until the time there was an use for her and her skills. The latter made her a twisted example of an Attention Whore who seeks out the hurting looks she gets from people when she takes away their "important thing" from them.
    • This is also the reason why Shikimi targets Seiji in the first place. While growing up, the person Shikimi wanted to acknowledge her the most was Akane, whose unwavering stoicism represented a challenge to her. That is, until Akane's feelings for Seiji entered the equation and Shikimi saw in him the leverage she needed to get under Akane's skin.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Outside of Guri, most of the cast treats her with utter contempt.
    • Heavily averted with Tiara. She has shown to be good friends with her and even takes care of and babysits her newborn daughter for her when shes busy.
  • The Heavy: After her introduction, she functions as the most prevalent recurring antagonist to the main characters for a time. It is partly due to her manipulation that Guri gets corrupted into a demon.
  • Honey Trap: Disguised as a student, she seeks help from Seiji (after stealing Guri's love phone and give her the wrong meet uptime), lure him into an abandoned house to trap him in order to torture and rape him.
  • Humans Are the Real Monsters: When offered the post of Maou or Demon Overlord, the local version of Satan, some demons remark that she is much more a demon than they are.
  • Immortality Seeker: She wants to join Guri's "Harem" after learning that the members become Complete Immortals.
  • In Love with Your Carnage: She adored Akane back when she was a cold-hearted killer and hates Seiji for changing her to be kinder.
  • It Amused Me: Shikimi's main motivation to do anything on her own cognition.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Before her, most chapters focused on episodic shenanigans and comedy. Shikimi's appearance marks a slightly more serious tone and greater development into the backstories of the main characters.
  • Lack of Empathy: Shikimi really doesn't care about the feelings of others. She only does things for attention and her own amusement.
  • Lecherous Licking: Licking her lips when she's getting aroused is one of her Character Tics.
  • Love Redeems: She promises to clean up her act in exchange for becoming part of Seiji's harem. While it only happens in the final episode of the anime, in the Manga, so far she been doing a good job.
  • Manipulative Bastard: A Consummate Liar that enjoys manipulating people very much.
  • Master of Disguise: Shikimi can disguise herself so well that others don't realize it's her until it's too late. She uses it often.
  • Morality Chain: If Guri is the Morality Pet that got Shikimi to be less evil, then Seiji is the Morality Chain that makes it harder for her to retrace those steps. Unlike Guri who's too much of a Cloudcuckoolander for it, Seiji tries to be as accepting of Shikimi as he can while remaining clearly aware of how dangerous she is and without compromising his own moral compass. Little by little his opinion of her becomes more and more important to her, to the point that in later chapters Shikimi is genuinely afraid of making him hate her when she accidentally (for once) caused the latest snafu with the demons.
  • Morality Pet: Deconstructed. Guri is this to her, by virtue of being the only person that actually enjoyed being around Shikimi for any length of time at the beginning, but this also prompted her to be a Toxic Friend Influence to Guri who wanted to nudge her down the Slippery Slope.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Frequently wears provocative and Stripperiffic clothing and is the most sexually forward character in the cast.
  • Odd Friendship: For some reason, Guri seems to enjoy her company whenever they're together.
  • Psycho for Hire: By the right people. She is so dangerous, she is transported to her assignments in chains.
  • Psycho Pink: While her natural hair color is pink, she quickly proves to be dangerous.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: A female example. She's competent enough to function as an enforcer for Akane and Yuzu's moms, but at her core she's a scheming, sadistic sociopath who treats people like toys to play with (read: hurt). When she gets angry at Akane for apparently going soft, she can be seen stamping her feet like a tantrum-throwing toddler.
  • Serial Homewrecker: Shikimi has a love of "stealing or tarnishing things other cherish", which includes seducing the Love Interests of other people just to make them feel like a Cuckold. She molests Seiji in front of Akane just to make her suffer and is later caught trying to seduce Mr. Kusunoki, just because she knows he and Mari have feelings for each other and wants to ruin it. It's heavily implied Akane turned into a Yandere Clingy Jealous Girl due to trauma of having to grow up with Shikimi doing this to her throughout her life.
  • Sleeps in the Nude: Is revealed to do this when she and the other girls sleepover at Seji's house, although she still has a Modesty Bedsheet on.
  • The Sociopath: Gives off all the vibes of one, with a particular bent towards sadomasochism. Her Lack of Empathy is evident in how she mistreats, hurts and torments others for her own amusment and sexual gratification. She's an excellent and habitual liar, and constant manipulator of everyone she comes into contact with. Her pathological need for stimulation manifests in a perverse joy in hurting and being hurt by other people.
