The Five-Man Band

    Dylan

    Anjren

  • Animesque: Along with Ahjeen in terms of expressions, for some reason.
  • Cute Bruiser: She's a cute, expressive girl, but don't underestimate her, she can kick some serious ass! Especially when she activates her Powered Armor.
  • Deadpan Snarker: She can be pretty cheeky at times, but not to the extent of some of her friends.
Vampire Lord: Why do you think I'm called Vampire LORD?
    Anjren: Because of your ego?
  • Genki Girl: Sometimes, like when she gets amped up or excited about something.
  • Light Feminine and Dark Feminine: She is the Light Feminine to Keela's Dark Feminine. They don't quite see eye-to-eye, but they don't outright dislike each other either. Anjren is a Tomboy with a Girly Streak who can get real excited and pumped up about things.
  • Making a Splash: She can shoot blasts of water by creating clouds of various sizes.
  • Powered Armor: Her red robot suit. Its also Instant Armor, because it appears just by her touching a microchip to her chest.
  • Sailor Fuku: Her outfit resembles this.
  • Summon Magic: She can summon Snowball, a polar bear.
  • The Lancer: Of the Five-Man Band. She is almost like a Distaff Counterpart to Dylan, in that she is also a Determinator that is not to be underestimated.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: She's a finicky tomboy almost to the point of being a Tsundere, and she's also prone to being super-sweet and acting like a "dainty young lady".
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Vampire Lord, but not to the extent of his relationship with Dylan. She pushes back harder against Vampire Lord than Dylan does though.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: She is terrified of giant bugs.

    Ahjeen

  • All-Loving Hero: He is a very nice guy who wants to make friends with everybody.
  • An Ice Person: He has ice powers, like creating icicles.
    • Blow You Away: He can create chilling ice winds, but its not to the extent of, say, Jasmine's wind power.
  • Animesque: Along with Anjren in terms of expressions, for some reason.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Like most characters of his type, harming his friends is a good way to piss him off.
  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, he wears a blue striped shirt over a dark-blue coat with icicle-like shoulder spikes, light-blue jeans, and a blue winter hat with a light-blue zigzag pattern.
  • Magnetic Hero: In 'Over and Under', Anjren and Vampire Lord even say making friends with anyone is what Ahjeen is best at.
  • Nice Guy: SO MUCH! He is a really nice and friendly dude, and he can quickly make friends with just about anyone.
  • The Heart: Of the Five-Man Band. He has the biggest moral compass of the group, and makes sure they all get along. He makes sure everyone feels special and in good spirits, especially his friends.

    Vampire Lord

  • Ambiguously Evil: There are times when he reverts a bit to an evil blood-drinker like he was in the past. By 'Confronting the Dark', he agrees with his friends that it doesn't excuse any less-than-heroic choices he would make. In "A Curse or a Blessing", he even reminisces about the times when people would be scared of his kind.
  • Canon Foreigner: He comes from Yu-Gi-Oh!.
  • Ceiling Cling + Wall Crawl: Being a vampire, of course he can do this. He uses this ability to spy on Seleenara and Boru in episode 7.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He's quite the wisecracker and definitely the most sarcastic of the group.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Called 'Vamps' by Ahjeen.
  • Flashy Teleportation: Via black bolts of lightning. He uses his teleportation ability very frequently and strategically when he fights.
  • Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: He's a pretty chill guy unless you piss him off.
  • Heel–Face Turn: He went through one in the past. 'Confronting the Dark' reveals what started his change of heart. He used to be a Magic Knight called Vampire Knight, who was something of The Runt at the End since the vampire empire had no need for knights, but his armor protected him from the Fog of Doom that attacked the Underworld. He destroyed the fog, which undid all of the damage it caused, and this act of heroism made him realize Good Feels Good.
  • Magic Knight: He used to be one where he was known as Vampire Knight, as his flashback in 'Confronting the Dark' reveals. However, The Empire deemed knights as worthless because of the vamparic reflexes of their people. Vampire Knight, however, fell through the cracks. This was a good thing, because his armor protected him from the Fog of Doom that plagued the Underworld.
  • Meaningful Rename: His flashback in 'Confronting the Dark' reveals that he used to be a knight named Vampire Knight, but was given the title of 'Lord' after he saved his people from a Fog of Doom.
  • The Nose Knows: He can smell blood, and even differentiate between the blood of individuals. He uses it to find Anjren and Ahjeen in 'Confronting the Dark'.
  • Older Than They Look: As an immortal vampire, he's much older than his peers.
  • One-Winged Angel: He can turn into a gigantic purple monster, which is Vampire Genesis.
  • The Rival: To Izane later on. This is what gets them pumped for their match in 'An Unofficial Tournament'.
  • Shock and Awe: He can fire black lightning from his hands.
  • The Big Guy: Of the Five-Man Band. He is very strong and strong-willed, and he's also a bit of a smartass.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Anjren and especially Dylan. He and Dylan's disagreements quickly escalate into heated arguments, but they are still very close. Anjren's and his escalate even quicker, because Anjren pushes back harder than Dylan does.
  • Zerg Rush / Bat Out of Hell: He can send out swarms of bats from his cape.

    Keela

Other Allies

    Soya
  • Dork Knight: Anjren points out at the end of the first episode that he can shift from a goofy nice guy to a serious badass just like that.
  • Elemental Punch: He can surround his fists in balls of lightning.
  • Facial Markings: He has the standard '2 slash-like markings under the eyes' kind.
  • In a Single Bound: He can jump super high in the air using a lightning bolt as a kind of spring.
  • Lightning Lash: He can shape lighting bolts into whips.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Red Oni to his rival Vladmare's Blue Oni. Soya is expressive, talkative, and full of energy.
  • Ride the Lightning: He can skate across the ground at high speeds by channeling lightning through the soles of his feet.
  • The Rival: To Vladmare. Their equal footing in combat skill, despite using very different tactics, is what makes them practically celebrities.
  • Scarf of Asskicking: He wears a very long white scarf.
  • Shock and Awe: He is a very versatile user of this trope, such as shaping electricity into weapons and attacks and using it to boost his movement. He even states that it's not about what your powers are, it's how you use them.

    Vladmare

  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, his armor becomes more gladiator-like, gains black highlights, and has black eye-like markings that make it and his pants look kind of like a skull.
  • Cool Sword: Its golden, has a skull-shaped handle, and is Vladmare himself!
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Like Keela, he is not an evil demon. In fact, his MO is slaying demons that ARE evil.
  • Light 'em Up: A rather slow move where he connects an orange, blue, and green rope of light from his sword to his target, destroying their spirit in an instant.
  • Magic Knight: He's got several powers like creating portals and sending out waves of energy, and that sword isn't just for show.
  • Our Demons Are Different: He's a demon swordsman who IS the sword.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Blue Oni to his rival Soya's Red Oni. He is calm, reserved, and serious.
  • The Rival: To Soya. Their equal footing in combat skill, despite using very different tactics, is what makes them practically celebrities.
  • Soul Jar: He IS the sword! The demon wielding it is simply a vessel used to transport and utilize it.
  • Sword Beam: He can send out slashes of blue energy by swinging his sword.
  • Thinking Up Portals: He can create dark-red portals, and he specializes in weaponizing them.

    Izane

  • Expy: Visually, he resembles Kiyoya.
  • Friendless Background: In the past, he and Jasmine had no other friends. Thus, they are unfamiliar with some of the concepts of friendship.
  • Good Scars, Evil Scars: He is a good guy and has a scar across his left eye.
  • Green Thumb: He manipulates thorn-covered vines.
  • Hot-Blooded: He gets fired up real easily, despite being a bit on the moody side.
  • Platonic Life-Partners: With Jasmine, the only friend he had in the past. Even nowadays, they are clearly very close.
  • The Rival: To Vampire Lord later on. This is what gets them pumped for their match in 'An Unofficial Tournament'.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Due to his Friendless Background, this concept makes no sense to him and he finds it rather mean.

    Jasmine

  • Blood Knight: She shows signs of this. She's the one who suggests the group have their own tournament just for fun in 'An Unofficial Tournament', and she isn't afraid to pull out the big guns in said friendly competition.
  • Blow You Away: Similar to Soya, her wind power is rather versatile.
    • Air-Aided Acrobatics: She can spring up high by creating a current of air underneath her.
    • Razor Wind: She can send out slashes of wind, and its her preferred method of attack.
    • Tornado Move: Not only can she create small whirlwinds, but also a HUGE funnel cloud!
  • Cold Ham: She shows signs of this as well. She has a bit of a braggy and sassy side to her, yet somehow keeps an almost stoic tone the entire time. For example, in her fight with Ahjeen in 'An Unofficial Tournament'.
Jasmine: More of that and you'll freeze and kill me.
Ahjeen: No, I wont kill you, but I can't guarantee the first part!
(Ahjeen freezes Jasmine in her own twister, and after a moment, slashes of wind shatter the twister)
Jasmine: I can guarantee the first part for you.
  • Friendless Background: In the past, her and Izane had no other friends. Thus, they are unfamiliar with some of the concepts of friendship.
  • Platonic Life-Partners: With Izane, the only friend she had in the past. Even nowadays, they are clearly very close.

    Melissa

  • Ambition Is Evil: Her thirst for knowledge led her to becoming Melinda's apprentice.
  • Badass Armfold: Its her default pose, and reflects her arrogance.
  • Break the Haughty / Freak Out / O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When she finds out Melinda is still alive, she completely flips out! It takes a "The Reason You Suck" Speech from Betty to snap her out of it and get her to cooperate with her allies in coming up with a plan to defeat Melinda. Even then, she still mostly believes Failure Is the Only Option.
  • Brutal Honesty: In 'Confronting the Dark', she delivers harsh truths to everyone else after they defeat the dragons she summoned to prepare them for the fight against Melinda. Betty and Dylan in particular get hit with this hard.
  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, her outfit becomes a dress with purple diamond highlights, purple Facial Markings dots under her eyes, and a short lime cape. Her hair also becomes shorter and more jagged.
  • Drunk on the Dark Side: Soon after training under Melinda, Melissa saw knowledge as a sign of power, instead of a sign of enlightenment. She used her knowledge of The Dark Arts to carry out Melinda's evil bidding, but luckily Dylan and Alice gave her a change of heart.
  • Good Witch Versus Bad Witch: She's the good witch, Melinda, her former master, is the bad witch. Melissa underwent a Heel–Face Turn and uses her powerful magic destroy evil instead of causing it.
  • Heel–Face Turn: She was the apprentice of the evil witch Melinda, but later had a change of heart because of Dylan and Alice.
  • I Just Want to Be You: She changed her hairstyle to match Melinda's when she was her apprentice, due to Melinda being the first companion she ever had.
  • I Just Want to Have Friends: Friendship was one thing that she felt like she was missing from her life. Melinda used that desire for companionship to further manipulate her.
  • Pride: Even though she is no longer aligned with Melinda, she's kept all her ego!
  • Power Floats: Rarely does she ever touch the ground.
  • Seeker Archetype: She has the desire to know everything and craves knowledge, just like Melinda. This shared interest led to her becoming Melinda's apprentice.
  • The Stoic: She doesn't shift from her distant prideful demeanor...usually.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She has lived for several lifetimes due to mastering the cycle of death and rebirth, giving her Resurrective Immortality.
  • Superpower Lottery: As a result of training under Melinda.
    • Barrier Warrior: She can surround herself or others in a white barrier, either to protect them or to contain them.
    • Frickin' Laser Beams: Its weird. She surrounds her opponent with Unoun-H kind of things and they fire lasers at them.
    • Healing Hands: She can heal herself and others via a golden pillar of light.
    • Mind over Matter: Telekinesis is probably her most frequently-used power.
    • Playing with Fire: Pyrokinesis
    • Resurrective Immortality: Mastery of death and rebirth is one thing she has an edge over Melinda, but it turns out Melinda is truly immortal, so she had no reason to master it.
    • Summon Magic: The one instance of Black Magic she used so far is just summoning horned creatures...Oh, and dragons.
    • Flashy Teleportation: She can teleport herself and others in a rectangular flash of light.

    Kai

  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, he wears a tan shirt and pants with jagged gold highlights with a mesh split down the upper-half of the shirt. His hair also becomes longer and frizzy.
  • Crazy-Prepared: He knew Curien and Ethan would try to break The Overlord of Evil's seal while he, Drake, Eleenin, CHEN, and Keedran went away to fight Melinda. Thus, he appointed Soya and Vladmare to stand guard and intercept them when they do.
  • Druid: He has control over natural energy. The more plants and other living things he is around, the stronger his attacks are.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: Alongside the other protectors of the planet: Eleenin, Drake, and Keedran. He's Melancholic because he is very serious, strategic, and always to the point.
  • Freudian Trio: Alongside Eleenin and Drake, the other stoic human protectors of the planet. He is The Spock because he is a stickler for taking the most logical approach to things, and pushes those who are reluctant to follow through to do so anyway.
  • Ki Manipulation: He can manipulate natural energy to attack.
    • Barrier Warrior: He can create walls of natural energy.
    • Blow You Away: He can blow a powerful gust of natural energy, oddly enough.
    • Energy Ball: He commonly uses natural energy like this. The size greatly varies. He can even kick them like soccer balls!
    • Kamehame Hadoken: By creating two vertical hoops on his arms, he can fire a massive beam of natural energy. He can fire a smaller one without charging up too.
    • Shockwave Stomp: He can create shockwaves of natural energy.
    • Spectacular Spinning: He can make a hula-hoop of natural energy appear around his body to boost himself forward and slice enemies.
  • Nerves of Steel: He counters any dirt slung at him with a blunt, and sometimes even smug, retort. This is best illustrated against Melissa's Brutal Honesty after defeating her dragon in 'Confronting the Dark'.
  • No Sense of Humor: He is very serious, and he doesn't like it when others make a game out of serious situations either.
  • No Time to Explain: When he "recruits" someone, he has a bad habit of leaving out information until they are at a safe location.
  • The Stoic: He has a serious, almost commanding tone about him that he never drifts from.

    Eleenin

  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, she wears a rose-colored shirt and dress with a pink flower-like pattern in the middle of the shirt, long pink gloves, and a flower in her hair. Her hair is also tied in a ponytail with stringy bangs.
  • Druid: Unlike Kai, she uses her connection with nature to observe, not to fight.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: Alongside the other protectors of the planet: Kai, Drake, and Keedran. She's Phlegmatic because she is serene, kind, and avoids confrontation.
  • Freudian Trio: Alongside Kai and Drake, the other stoic human protectors of the planet. She is The McCoy because she puts teamwork above logic, and she believes in the potential of everyone, even if they doubt themselves.
  • Light 'em Up: She has some light-based powers, but rarely uses them for combat.
  • The Stoic: Not as much as Kai, though. Its more serene than commanding.
  • Spark Fairy: She can separate into a horde of these for defense. If they are destroyed, she instantly appears in a flash of light.
  • Summon Magic: She can summon a trio of fairies to fight.
  • The Watcher: She relies on her allies and fairies to fight, because she doesn't have any offensive prowess of her own. Although its because she believes in The Power of Friendship, not because she's a Dirty Coward.

    Drake

  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, his outfit gains some teal and purple highlights. Thats about it.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: Alongside the other protectors of the planet: Kai, Eleenin, and Keedran. He's Choleric because he is stoic, clever, and strong.
  • Freudian Trio: Alongside Eleenin and Kai, the other stoic human protectors of the planet. He is The Kirk because he'll often Take a Third Option for things, and provides backup for others.
  • Full-Contact Magic: For his more powerful spells, Drake will often have to target certain points on his Instant Runes to cast it.
  • Instant Runes: They appear with pretty much every spell he uses. This also makes his attack patterns flashy and easily telegraphed, but he is confident enough in his own abilities that he doesn't see it as an issue.
  • Magic Staff: Its primarily blue and has a purple crystal.
  • The Red Mage: He has both offensive and defensive spells, and wears red robes to boot!
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Blue Oni to his fellow non-Druid planet protector Keedran's Red Oni. Like her, he is very powerful, but unlike her, he keeps a calm and level head.
  • Thinking Up Portals: He can create portals to alternate locations, and even alternate universes!
  • The Stoic: He's somewhere between Kai's and Eleenin's level.
  • Soul-Powered Engine: Spirit Runes, which is a persons identity extracted into a stone. Creating one is completely harmless to the target.

    Keedran

  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: She hates this trope, but she knows that its a necessity. Thus she takes the form of a golden angel/mermaid/dragon instead of a Creepy Centipede
  • Eldritch Abomination: Its her favorite form to take! She looks like a Creepy Centipede with Creepy Long Arms, one of which is a snake and the other that looks like a bear's.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: She likes being in her monstrous form more than her true form, and she finds evil magic more fun than holy magic. Be that as it may, she is one of the protectors of the planet, even though she knows Humans Are Flawed.
  • Deadpan Snarker: She's very prone to dropping her two-cents and sarcasm, especially when its with someone she doesn't care for, like Melissa.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: Alongside the other protectors of the planet: Kai, Eleenin, and Drake. She's Sanguine because she is expressive, eccentric, and a bit unpredictable.
  • Guardian Entity: She is the guardian of all of humanity.
  • Knight in Sour Armor: She knows protecting humanity is a thankless job because of her unsettling appearance, but she does it because its her job as a protector of the planet, not because people like her.
  • One-Winged Angel: Her true form is an angel...mermaid...dragon thing.
  • Non-Malicious Monster: She looks terrifying, but she's benevolent. In fact, she prefers her monster form for this exact reason.
  • Physical God: Like Kai, Drake, and Eleenin, she is one of the guardians of the planet, but she's a straight-up deity rather than a druid or a mage.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The Red Oni to her fellow non-Druid planet protector Drake's Blue Oni. Like him, she is very powerful, but unlike him, she is a wildcard and gets very emotional.
  • Shapeshifting Trickster: She likes getting under people's skin and making them question things. She also hates doing things 'by-the-book' of her fellow guardians like Kai, which sometimes annoys them.
  • Sleep-Mode Size: When she is brutally injured, she reverts to a form that resembles crumpled white tin-foil as she either heals or turns into her other form.
  • Time Abyss: In her "The Reason You Suck" Speech she gives to Melissa in 'Confronting the Dark', she reveals she's dealt with the judgment of humanity for thousands of lifetimes.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifter: She can change between an angelic and a monstrous form.
  • Yin-Yang Bomb: She can use evil magic in her monstrous form, and holy magic in her true form.
    • Barrier Warrior: (Good) She can put up a golden barrier.
    • Bubble Gun: (Good) She can shoot a stream of golden bubbles.
    • Energy Bow: (Good) She can fire an arrow of light.
    • Gravity Sucks: (Evil) She can open up a miniature vortex in her body that leads to a pocket dimension inside her, close it up, and then crush whoever is within her. If the target can't be crushed, they are permanently trapped instead.
    • Holy Hand Grenade: (Good) She can send out an Energy Ball that creates an explosive pillar of light.
    • Mind over Matter: She can either do so using Eye Beams (Evil), or just good ol' telekinesis. (Good)
    • Ret-Gone: (Good) She can just straight-up wipe you from existence by imploding you in light.
    • Soul Eating: (Evil) She can suck out souls like a black vapor.

    Jenna

  • Combo Platter Powers:
  • Good Is Not Nice: She's a "good guy", but not a "GOOD guy".
Dylan: I know she isn't the first person you'd invite to a party, and doesn't exactly spread happiness wherever she goes.
  • Jerkass: She's a bitch, no questions asked. Good Is Not Nice is in full effect here.
  • Morality Pet: Dylan, and to a lesser extent Aseir, are the only ones she'll show any sort of niceness to, and even then, its more akin to a Tsundere.
  • The Stoic: Speaks with a grumpy, uncaring voice.
  • Summon Magic: She can summon her Skull Snake, which is Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
  • Tsundere: Towards Dylan. She is very understanding about the things he is going through, and would never try to, say, force a secret out of him...because she knows he isn't stupid enough to keep secrets from her!
    • She's like this to Aseir as well, but to a more subtle extent. She doesn't directly insult him, but she does gives him backhand compliments.

    Alice

  • Friend to All Living Things: From guys she just met, to animals, to even evil sorceresses!
  • Magnetic Hero: She quickly makes friends with anyone she meets, no matter who they are or what they've done in the past.
  • The Pollyanna: She always finds the bright side to a situation, and believes anyone can change for the better.

    Betty

  • Badass Normal: She has no inherit special powers, especially when you look at her Wicked Witch sister, Melinda. However, Betty can still fight among the best of 'em.
  • Cain and Abel: She despises her sister, Melinda. Melinda is a Wicked Witch after all. When they finally do fight in episode 7, she takes great pleasure in beating her up.
  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, she wears a light-blue sleeveless midriff with matching arm bands. More notably there are now wires embedded in her stomach and a microchip on her forehead due to her cybernetic lower-half.
  • Cyborg: From the waist down, as a result of one of Melinda's Mooks crushing her legs with a pillar.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: She is quick to flip her lid and has a foul mouth to boot.
  • Hot-Blooded: Despite her bitchiness, she turns out to be this in battle. She is always bantering with her opponent and excitedly dishing out blows.
Betty: (after Melinda gets restrained) HELL YEAH! We got you, you arrogant son of a WITCH!
  • Jet Pack: Her cybernetic feet function like rocket boots.
  • Loner-Turned-Friend: She was once The Shut-In because her universe didn't want to risk her breaking Melinda's seal, but became a loyal ally of Dylan and his friends after they helped her fight the witch.
  • Madame Swears a Lot: She is by far the most foul-mouthed member of the cast. Her "The Reason You Suck" Speech towards Melissa in 'Confronting the Dark' is a perfect example, with her saying 'cocky-ass' between pretty much every word.
  • The Shut-In: Enforced. The residents of her universe didn't like anyone being around her, because they didn't want to risk her finding out about Melinda and breaking her seal. This made her bitter and hate everyone around her, and why only the words of an outsider would mean anything to her.
  • Troll: Sometimes. She reserves her trolling for people who are The Stoic, so "shit doesn't stagnate" as she puts it.
  • Tsundere: She's got a short fuse, but she's a team player deep down.
  • We Can Rebuild Him: Her lower-body was crushed by a pillar, so it had to be reconstructed, making her a Cyborg.

    Aseir

    Nik

  • BFG: He carries around a large, futuristic, light-blue rifle.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: For Jenna and Aseir, at least. Although its more that Jenna and Aseir are abrasive themselves, rather than anything Nik is doing wrong. That being said, he does love provoking them.
  • The Gadfly: He tries his best to get on Jenna and Aseir's nerves to get a reaction out of them bigger than just some snide remark.
  • Large Ham: He comes off as extremely whiny, but he's just putting on a show.
  • Nerves of Steel: He just laughs off all the shit Jenna and Aseir sling at him.

    Mechelly

Mechellies in General

  • A Dog Named "Dog": Despite Mechelly sounding like an actual name, that is the name of the product line.
  • Fembot
  • Imprinting: A Mechelly forms what is called a Link Bond with the first individual they interact with, which means they keep their Link safe and always acts on their best interest.
  • My Master, Right or Wrong: Mechellies have no allignment, they merely act on the best interest of their Link.
  • One-Way Visor: They're robots that look like humans, so having one of these is a given.
  • Robot Buddy: Its a Fem Bot that imprints on you so she can protect you.

Dylan's Mechelly

    Pita

Prior Forms

  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: Its first form is a purple spider that goes down with a single Shock Bomb.
  • Blob Monster: Its third form is a blue glob of water that envelopes Dylan to try and drown him. The only reason he makes it out alive is an Angel Guard from the Sky Dimension shows up and destroys it.
  • Counter-Attack: In its dog form, if it is attacked, its attacker freezes in place, which allows it to bite them.
  • Curse: In the past, Melinda placed a curse on Dylan that would take the form of a creature that would try and kill him, but if it is killed, it would come back as a stronger form the next day based on how he feels before he falls asleep. The only way to "beat" the curse is to convince it to stop killing you.
  • Dogs Are Dumb: In its dog form, Dylan is able to trick it into falling off a cliff by getting it to charge at him, then jumping down to a lower ledge.
Dylan: Good thing dogs are so dumb.
  • Evil Evolves: The curse was designed to come back as a stronger form the next day whenever the creature it turns into is killed.
  • Informed Species: Its second form is suppsoed to be a dog, but it looks like a pink serpentine creature with two canine-like heads with huge teeth.
Dylan: Oh come on! Thats a dog in the loosest definition of the word!
  • Multiple Head Case: Its dog form has 2 heads.
  • Power Floats: It floats in its dog form. However, it can not fly, so if its tricked into falling off a cliff, its doomed.

    The Possessor Ghost

  • Demonic Possession: The body gains its Sinister Scythe and must be knocked out for the Possessor Ghost to retreat.
  • Fusion Dance: Gives up its "life" to fuse with Melinda to become Ghost Melinda in episode 7.
  • Our Ghosts Are Different: This one has a Sinister Scythe and is the Ultimate Life Form created by an evil witch.
  • Not Quite Dead: In the first episode, it comes back after seemingly getting banished by Melissa.
  • Reality Warper: It had a role in creating the dimension seen in the first episode.
  • Power Floats: Well duh, it's a ghost.
  • Sinister Scythe: Its the length of its body and has spikes on it.
  • Sinister Surveillance: Melissa reveals in a flashback in 'Confronting the Dark' that the Possessor Ghost was spying on her while Melinda was sealed away, and it eventually led Melissa to its master.
  • Ultimate Life Form: The strongest creature Melinda created and her final strike against the world.
  • Undying Loyalty: No pun intended. Melinda explains that she designed it to put her interests and well-being above its own, even when it results in it's destruction by fusing with her.
  • Your Soul Is Mine!: It used to have this power. Its gradually becoming weaker the longer Melinda stays sealed away.

    Ethan

  • Badass Longcoat: Its got snakes on it!
  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, he has blood around his eyes and his hair tied in a ponytail.
  • Evil Is Hammy: Ohhhhhh boy, does he play it up!
Ethan: Its me, your far-superior adversary, Ethan!
  • Faux Affably Evil: He's very chatty and lively...but its only to make him more unnerving.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Despite his cocky attitude, he knows when he's outmatched.
  • Laughing Mad: As part of his insanity act, this is a given.
  • Obfuscating Insanity: He acts like a total loon...acts. Its all to unnerve others.
Dylan: But how the hell did you-! Wait...are you FROM that parallel universe?!
Ethan: AHAHAHAHA! BINGO! You got it! Now I know why my sister enjoys toying with you so much, perhaps I WONT outright kill you after all!
  • Our Zombies Are Different: He's a sorcerer zombie, although he doesn't look much like a zombie.
  • Power Floats: He often gets in a lounging position when doing so.
  • Reality Warper: He can mold and shape whatever terrain is around him as he pleases.
  • Sadist: He loves to torture and torment his victims for his own twisted amusement.
  • Sinister Surveillance: He watched Melissa, Dylan, and the others making their preparations to fight Melinda while in the Possessor Ghost's dimension in 'Confronting the Dark'. He wickedly says to himself that now there is nobody around to protect the Overlord of Evil's seal.
  • Smug Snake: Boy is this guy cocky! His holier-than-thou attitude pairs surprisingly well with his Affably Evil facade.
  • Tom the Dark Lord: He's a Reality Warper zombie sorcerer named Ethan. This is especially jarring when you compare his name with his sister Curien.

     Curien

  • Evil Is Hammy: Just like her brother.
Curien: Oh my! Did your house suddenly turn into a river?! Now how on earth did THAT happen?!
  • Faux Affably Evil: Just like Ethan, she acts upbeat and chatty just to make her more unsettling.
  • Laughing Mad: Just like Ethan does, she cackles insanely.
  • Obfuscating Insanity: She acts like an unhinged maniac as a creepy facade.
Curien: Ahahahahahaha! Oh this'll be FUN!
  • Our Zombies Are Different: She's a zombie sorceress who looks SLIGHTLY more like a zombie than her brother does due to the stitches.
  • Power Floats: Just like how Ethan lounges while floating, Curien often sits.
  • Reality Warper: She can cast illusions on the surrounding area that are strong enough to trick your senses into believing them.
  • Reptiles Are Abhorrent: To go with the snakes on Ethan's clothes, Curien has lizards on hers.
  • Sadist: She likes torturing and terrifying her enemies just as much as Ethan does.

    Kaila
  • Avenging the Villain: She's avenging the Master of the Dammed, who was killed by Keela. This is the main fuel for Kaila's vendetta against her.
  • Black Eyes of Crazy: Her eyes are black with white pupils, and she is a bit unhinged for what Keela did to her master.
  • Casting a Shadow: Like Keela, she can use her pitchfork for various darkness attacks.
  • Clothing Switch: As of episode 7, she wears a light-purple shirt and dress with dark-purple highlights, a dark-purple scarf, and a matching light-purple hat. Her hair also becomes more rounded and much shorter.
  • Dark Is Evil: Unlike Keela, Kaila's demonic look and powers are played straight.
  • Devil's Pitchfork: She wields a pitchfork.
  • The Dragon: To the Master of the Dammed... originally.
  • Energy Bow: She can fire arrows of darkness.
  • Evil Counterpart: To Keela. Both of them are demons from the Unworld. The difference is Keela is a Demon of Human Origin from the Master of the Dammed turning her into one, while Kaila is a full-fledged demon who was created by the Master of the Dammed.
  • Feed It with Fire: She can absorb certain attacks into her pitchfork and counter with a beam of darkness.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: She has demon wings like Keela, but hers are thinner and more curved.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Envyed Keela for taking her place as the Master of the Dammed's Dragon. This, combined with the fact that Keela only did that so she could kill the Master of the Dammed, made Kaila despise her.
  • Our Demons Are Different: Unlike Keela, she was always a demon. And also unlike Keela, she is evil.
  • Shock and Awe: She can send down black bolts of lightning.
  • Ultimate Life Form: Claims to be the strongest of all of the Master of the Dammed's creations.

    The Master of the Dammed

    The Overlord of Evil

  • A God Am I: He desires to control reality, essentially making him this.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: He is capable of inflicting this on people to do his bidding, such as Melissa.
  • Complete Immortality: Like Melinda, this is why he had to be sealed away. In fact, if you do manage to somehow kill him, such as trying to Ret-Gone him, he'll just appear back in puffs of Super Smoke.
  • Creepy Long Arms: They are about the length of his entire body, and he has to keep them tucked.
  • Dem Bones: He's a living skeleton with Creepy Long Arms wearing tattered robes.
  • Evil Overlord: Averted, despite his name. He has a few Mooks under his belt and a god complex, but he has no empire to speak of.
  • Fatal Flaw: His god complex makes him believe he is invincible and holds all the cards, which means he is not prepared when the tables get turned on him.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast
  • One-Hit Kill: He can fire a small laser that annihilates whoever is hit. Unless you have Resurrective Immortality like Melissa, you're done for.
  • Our Liches Are Different: Just like The Master of the Dammed, he's an undead sorcerer. However, he lacks a Soul Jar because he has Complete Immortality.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Is currently sealed in the Underworld...but that seal is weakening. In "The Mystery of Melinda", Drake and Keedran had to upgrade it to a Sealed Evil in a Six Pack.
    • Before that, he was sealed away in the Sky Dimension, because the angel guards had to seal the entire dimension away after Curien and Ethan created an irreversible dark rift there.
  • Sinister Surveillance: Even within his seal, he can still spy on people. This is why Kai is so hush-hush about the mission to fix his seal in 'Over and Under'.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: He shares a lot of qualities with the Master of the Dammed, and not just in the case of names and looks. Both of them are powerful liches who have a world they either rule or desire to rule over, have an army of Mooks, and have another villain (or villains) under their command.

    Melinda

  • Achilles' Heel: She has incredible magical power...but she is extremely weak in a physical sense. If you can find a way to restrain her without magic, you're golden.
    • The lack of physical power is not an issue as Ghost Melinda, since she gains The Posessor Ghost's Sinister Scythe. However, this gives her a different heel: She gains all the weaknesses of a ghost.
  • Affably Evil: While she has a smug and sinister attitude about it, she is very chatty and keeps a cool head, even when she is fighting. She'll even engage in some Snark-to-Snark Combat with characters like Betty and Keedran.
  • Ambition Is Evil: Like Melissa, she is a seeker of knowledge, but its for evil purposes. This is also the reason she was sealed away in her castle the first time.
  • Ax-Crazy: She becomes rather unhinged and bloodthirsty as Ghost Melinda.
  • Bad Boss: When she finds out Pita went through a Heel–Face Turn, she vaporizes him (although he regenerates). She also shows no remorse when Possessor Ghost gives up his "life" to merge with her. She also admits she would've killed Melissa for betraying her if she wasn't sealed away at the time.
Pita: She was willing to destroy me because I was of no use to her! She has no bond or connection with her underlings, that should NOT be shocking to you!
  • Black Magic: She is the master of deadly curses and evil forces. In "The Mystery of Melinda", she used them to nearly bring about The End of the World as We Know It.
  • The Chessmaster: Her plan in breaking her seal involves parallel universes and using another Sealed Evil in a Can to manipulate her former apprentice into nearly breaking that evil out! It only went awry because of an "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight. In "Confronting the Dark", Melissa even lists cunning, manipulation, and trickery as Melinda's biggest qualities.
  • Complete Immortality: Like the Overlord of Evil, this is why she had to be sealed away. This is also why she had no need to master the cycle of life and death, unlike Melissa and her Resurrective Immortality.
  • The Dreaded: Even arrogant, prideful characters like Melissa and Ethan (who mistook Melissa for Melinda in 'Possessor of a Dimension') are terrified of her.
  • Evil Mentor: She used to be one towards Melissa, before Melissa's Heel–Face Turn. Since she was sealed away, she used Melissa's desire for companionship to manipulate her into doing her evil bidding.
  • Good Witch Versus Bad Witch: She's the bad witch, Melissa, her former apprentice, is the good. She was sealed away because of her dark powers, which she tried to use to bring about The End of the World as We Know It.
  • Lean and Mean: She's a Wicked Witch with limbs longer and skinnier than even Keela, and her reputation makes her The Dreaded even among other villains like Ethan.
  • Manipulative Bitch: She used Melissa's thirst for knowledge and her need for companionship so she would become her apprentice.
  • Nonstandard Character Design: While it follows the same template as all the other human characters, there are a few differences in her design compared to others. Her chin and nose are vastly different, and her limbs are much skinnier.
  • One-Man Army: Implied, considering it took the entire population of her Mirror Universe to weaken her enough to seal her away, as seen in the flashback in "The Mystery of Melinda".
  • Our Ghosts Are Different: As the appropriately-named Ghost Melinda, she has powers like invisibility, teleportation, and going through solid objects.
  • Pride: Melinda thinks she is unstoppable and anyone that tries to stand in her way is a hopeless fool. This ends up being a Fatal Flaw and leads to her demise.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Is currently sealed in a Blank White Void dimension...but that seal is weakening. In addition, breaking seals like these is her specially.
    • Before that, she was locked away in her Ominous Floating Castle. Getting into a conflict with her sister, Betty, will break the seal, but Betty wasn't even aware of Melinda's existence. Even while sealed away, she was able to manipulate Melissa into becoming her apprentice.
    • Sealed Inside a Person-Shaped Can + Sealed Evil in a Six Pack: Her final fate as Ghost Melinda is being encased in an orb of energy created by Eleenin, Kai, and Melissa, which is trapped within the pocket dimension contained within Keedran's chest.
  • Seeker Archetype: Just like Melissa, she wants to know everything, but unlike Melissa, she wants to use that knowledge for dark purposes.
  • Sinister Schnoz: Duh. She's a witch.
  • Villainous Breakdown: When she finds out she is going to be sealed away within Keedran, she panics.
Melinda: No! No! I can not lose! I WILL escape! I WILL bring my curses upon the universe! I WILL not lose to the likes of YOU!
Melissa: You have no one but yourself to blame, Melinda. First you let yourself get restrained by us, then in an attempt to get the upper-hand, you fused with the Possessor Ghost without considering the weaknesses that would bring. You underestimated us, and take it from me, pride cometh before the fall.
Melinda: I will live on forever! You will never truly be rid of me! Mark my words, Melissa, you have NOT seen the last of MEEEEEEEEE!
  • Voice of the Legion: When she fuses with The Posessor Ghost to become Ghost Melinda, she gains a voice like this.
Dylan: (after Melinda explains how she turned into Ghost Melinda) Well thats about as twisted as your new voice!
  • Wicked Witch: She is The Dreaded, lived in a dark castle before being sealed away, and uses Black Magic. All she is missing is the green warty skin.

     Boru

  • Badass in a Nice Suit: Well he's by no means a badass, he's still a villain. Despite being a simpleton, he wears a swell purple suit with a red tie.
  • The Ditz: Boru is an absolute moron that really frustrates Seleenara with how specific she has to be with her orders to get them through her thick head.
  • Dumb Muscle: Vampire Lord even describes him as "One of those strong, yet stupid, types."
  • Healing Factor: He can regenerate his body parts quickly, including his head.
  • Hulk Speak: Just to emphasize his role as a Dumb Muscle.
  • Me's a Crowd: He can create duplicates of himself.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: He fits the bill more than Ethan and Curien do. He's got the green skin and low-intellegence of one.

     Seleenara
