Navel-DeepNeckline sounds great, and is clearer than the Plunging V Neckline. That might be the correct term, but I'm not fashionable enough to know when a neckline has plunged.

I'm the person who came up with the original name (which was a riff on "Absolute Territory"), but I agree with the change.
What about unbuttoned shirts? Do they count? I would say no, but...

Hmmmm...I can see how that applies, but at the same time I've always interpreted this to be an actual cut of the outfit and not just having it unbuttoned most of the way.
I would generally say no because it's not the cut of the outfit. We do have several tropes related to unbuttoned shirts that might cover the example, but I don't know the specifics of the example to pinpoint which, if any, apply.

Consensus was to rename Absolute Cleavage due to misuse. What should the trope's new name be?
I think Plunging V Neckline is the actual term that is used in real life to describe this type of cleavage, but I suppose if there's so much misuse it may be wise to actually have "navel" in the trope title.
