As seen in the Do we have a project to disambig works? Ask The Tropers, there are many works pages that seem to need disambigs, by virtue of sharing names and having no differentiation.
This thread is for the discussion and listing of what to do about such pages.
See here for a list of needed disambigs.
The List
- Film.The Lost World
- Series.Utopia
- Series.Kidnapped (2006 NBC Cop Show) (20 wicks)
- Series.The Street
- VideoGame.Star Wars Battlefront
- VideoGame.Star Wars Battlefront II
- WesternAnimation.Fantasia
- WesternAnimation.Max Steel
Similar Issues
- Then there is pages like The Host which is for the Korean film but has a bunch of wicks referring to the adaptation of The Host.
- Ransom: YMMV.Ransom only has Film entries, but Characters.Ransom is trying to be a disambig to Characters.Ransom Film and Characters.Ransom TV... Trivia.Ransom needs to be split.
- Film.Deadlands is conflicting with the Tabletop Game. Maybe move to its redirect, Film. The Dead Lands?
- Series. The Untouchables: It's holding multiple versions in there...

Alternatively, maybe Webcomic.Bruno Baldwin, to use the author's last name.
Film. The Other Woman and Film. The Other Woman 2014 exist. The first one being 2009...
Is "The Other Woman" used often enough for a redirect to Infidelity Index or something?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Even as a Red Link, Main. The O Ther Woman has five wicks.

(EDIT) Film.Batteries Not Included to Film.Batteries Not Included 1987, to disambiguate from the Useful Note.

I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. There's no rule to move work pages away from their names because a Useful Note shares the same name.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Custom title collision.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. There's also custom title collision with the trope Foodfight! and the film Foodfight!.
Rock'n'roll never dies!Just split "Limbo":
VideoGame.Limbo —> VideoGame.Limbo 2010
WebOriginal.Limbo —> WebAnimation.Limbo 2014
And I did "Inside" yesterday:
VideoGame.Inside —> VideoGame.Inside 2016
Film.Inside —> Film.Inside 2007
These exist... Move to these? And the plain one as disambig to both, of course?
Or some other rename?
- Fanfic.Frozen Hearts > Fanfic.Frozen Hearts 2013
- Fanfic.Adventure Time Frozen Hearts > Fanfic.Frozen Hearts 2014
I favor Fanfic.Frozen Hearts Sakume for the former, and Fanfic.Frozen Hearts Adventure Time or Fanfic.Frozen Hearts Red Witch for the latter.
The first one needs author disambiguation, but the second can get by with fandom disambiguation.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool."Moonlight" was already partially disambig'd with Film.Moonlight 2016, so I just finished it:
Series.Moonlight —> Series.Moonlight 2007
Fanfic.Moonlight —> Fanfic.Moonlight Jason The Human
There are multiple Spider-Man video games, so VideoGame.Spider Man should be moved to VideoGame.Spider Man 2000.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. And there's these, which both started in the same year, 2018:
- Fanfic. The Royal Protector (Star vs. the Forces of Evil)
- Fanfic. The Royal Protector Sniperct (Frozen, Tangled: The Series)

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Leading "the" in the author name of the former. What should we do?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I don't see the issue with titling it Fanfic. The Royal Protector The Eternal Winter
Fanfic. The Royal Protector Star Vs The Forces Of Evil is also an option.
And while doing Sandbox.Fanfics Of The2010s, (almost done!) found two Total Drama Isle fanfics.
- ISLE, no page.
- Isle, at Total Drama Isle.
Disambiguate by author?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I think for books, disambiguating by author generally makes more sense than disambiguating by year. You look at a book cover, it'll have the title and the author name. You have to open it up, flip to the colophon, and scan through a page of small text to find the publication date. You go to a library, look at the shelves, books are sorted by author name, not by year.
These are fanfics in the same fandom, so the author is the best choice.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Series.Jericho should be moved to Series.Jericho 2006 to avoid subpage collision with Fanfic.Jericho, which should also be moved to Fanfic.Jericho 2012.
back lolIf the main issue is custom title collision, we move the page to Film.Bruno 2009 and custom title it BrĂ¼no, right? Like the page for Now You See It...?
Rock'n'roll never dies!I mean, there's really only one method of disambiguating, regardless of the reason it's needed.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Yep.
back lol
Don't disambiguate by repeating the namespace. Ever.
Webcomic.Bruno 1996 and Film.Bruno 2009?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
