I suggest we move that to SelfDemonstrating.Nu Speling and rewrite the main page with normal spelling.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I agree with that idea.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I could do the rewrite with normal spelling.
(Don't) take me home.Sorry for reviving this thread abrubtly, but Elisa Maza has just been created. It honestly just reads like a dull first-person character page without a unique voice, and there are multiple grammatical errors and a couple of zero-context examples.
TRS Wick CleaningNuke it.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Feed it to Broadway.
SelfDemonstrating.Scott The Woz is a stub.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I don't think Scott has enough of a specific voice to be self demonstrating. Also he's not really a character so much as a caricature of his real life self, so it feels weird.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. So in other words: This page blows!
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Does the page even need to exist? It doesn't really add any value. Everything could just go on the main page.
Found SelfDemonstrating.Alternate Sasha Waybright. It can't keep up the first person act for most of the examples, there's no voice, and the original work isn't even linked anywhere.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessLooks like the character is from Amphibia, but this might be related to a fan work called SashaAndTheFrogs. I added references to both in the description.
I'd be fine with doing a first-person edit if we keep the page, but do we have self-demonstrating character pages like this? Looks like a majority of the edits were made by one individual.

Without a unique voice, the page has no reason to exist.
SoundCloudThe page for the NES Nightmare on Elm Street game has a Running Gag of adding a ™ symbol whenever Freddy Krueger™ is mentioned.
Personally, I think it's funny and not too distracting, so I'd be okay with keeping that.
Crazy Survivalist's description is apparently written in the first person:
Don't you move a goddamn muscle. Thought you could sneak up on me, huh? Naw, I'm too sharp for that. 'Cause I've been preparing. Preparing... for them.
They're coming, but they're not gonna get me, not without a fight! Who's "they"? Doesn't matter! It could be an Alien Invasion, a Zombie Apocalypse, Black Helicopters from the gub'mint, the feral dregs of humanity, a divine being, some ancient evil or even butterflies! (Those are some nasty bastards.) But whatever they are, I'm prepared! I have me this bowie knife, tinfoil hat, good old two-barreled Betsy (plus her extended family), and a year's supply of food and water...
What? "Share"? "Help other survivors"? It's a dog-eat-smaller-yappy-dog world out there, "friend", and if ya ain't strong enough to defend yourself... Oh, I see what you're about, you want to stick a crazy dart in my neck and steal my stuff, don't you?! That's right, back away from the crazy person... Crazy-Prepared like a fox!
You want me to help you fight them? You can't fight them any more than an ant fights an elephant, everyone who tries ends up getting slaughtered! Ain't seen bloodshed like that since the war...
"Calm down"? I am calm! I am the very picture of calm! And rational, too! Wait a minute... you're one of THEM!
Don't you go anywhere, I'll go get the rest of my Untrusting Community to lynch you! No, better yet, my militia buddies! No matter how many orphans you save! I'll do what it takes to survive!
I also created SelfDemonstrating.Nu Speling per previous discussion.

Rawr. Can someone please help rewrite the description?
I suppose I could have waited longer than 12 hours.
Edited by SkyCat32 on May 1st 2023 at 1:21:58 PM
Rawr.Seriously you can't wait for someone to help you? You should not come back to a thread 5 minutes after your first post to beg people to do the work for you.
Number one fan of characters that appear only once and ultimately were a recurring character either in disguise or trying a new image. Also found self demonstration on "Spell My Name with a Blank":
My Dear T___ T___,
While it is no longer the current fashion in these tell-all times, in the 18th century and the early part of the 19th, it was practically de rigueur to refer to certain personages and locations merely by a single letter, or in some cases, a mere blank. This, no doubt, found its origin in the newspapers of the period, wishing to avoid suits at law when repeating gossip about public figures, from politicians to aristocrats and possibly even members of the R____ F____. The form was adopted by writers of novels, when obliquely referring to same or to entirely fictional characters, or even to fictional cities and counties. Often, stories that were based upon actual events would use a blank to avoid referring to real people. With that in mind, you will better understand when I tell you about what Mr. A____ said to the Countess of B____ in the gardens of _____ House when the Earl was not listening.
See also Year X, for doing the same thing with dates, as to obscure when the events in question took place as well as where.
Reading these works may have you wishing for the decoder key...or as Monsieur T____ of the French Lit Crit circle would say, the "Clef" of the Roman à Clef. Or look for a pulldown menu.
Sincerely,
Yr. Hmbl. & Obdt. Svt.

The majority of the description is just a normal description bookended with some self-demonstration that also helps visualize the trope. It's fine to stay as-is.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Fair enough, Mew. I still need help reformatting Crazy Survivalist though.
Rawr.
