Sabine will be suffering from depression and/or disillusionment.

The finale in Rebels was taking place after Return of the Jedi but to my knowledge Ahsoka is taking place years later. Then there are the lines from Sabine and Ahsoka, “It’s been a while” and “Things have changed” (although that could just be the editing of the trailer). The scene in itself is different. This leads me to thinking that Ahsoka and Sabine had gone searching for Ezra but could not turn up any leads and, unable to keep up any hope of finding him, Sabine returned to Lothal. She looks rather solemn in the trailer, especially with the shot of her looking at Ezra hologram.

With the exception of one scene in the trailer, Sabine isn’t in her armor. Making me think she has become disillusioned with Mandalorian culture. Perhaps after the purge of Mandalore; causing her to think that The Way led to her people’s demise. Which may just add to the depression part. The one shot with her armor on has her kneeling in front of her helmet almost like she is contemplating putting it back on.

Clancy Brown will reprise his role as Ryder Azadi
  • Confirmed.

Ahsoka will call Anakin out for turning against the Jedi
  • Jossed. The closest she ever gets to imply that, however, is her remark about the incredible danger Anakin posed during his life.

The Thrawn seen in the series will be a defective clone of the original

The original Thrawn actually died of vacuum exposure at the end of Rebels, cloning has already been mentioned prominently in The Mandalorian, with Pellaeon hinting of his return to be a secret. In addition since Filoni is adapting The Thrawn Trilogy in Broad Strokes, it is conceivable that they would also incorporate elements of the follow-up The Hand of Thrawn duology.

Eli and Ar'alani will appear and try to convince Thrawn to leave the Imperial remnant.
Whether they succeed or not, arguments they (or Ahsoka) could make may include how he has been away from the Chiss far longer than he was supposed to while serving a worse government, asking for his help against a traditional Chiss enemy like the Yuuzhan Vong, Grysk, or Vagaari, or revealing Palpatine's cloning scheme (given Thrawn's belief the Empire would be better after Palpatine was gone).
  • If one of those warfaring alien races appears, Thrawn and Ahsoka might have a (probably temporary) Enemy Mine moment.

Thrass will appear in flashbacks or being Not Quite Dead and living with the survivors of Outbound Flight

Sabersmithing from Star Wars: Visions (and possibly the Zhima family) will appear

On that note: Sabine will repair/rebuild the Darksaber
  • The Darksaber was broken by Moff Gideon in season 3 of The Mandalorian. At some point in Ahsoka, Bo-Katan will have the weapon brought to Sabine or Ahsoka because she figures they know enough about Lightsaber construction to fix it.

The Nagai-Tof War and the Sri-ruu invasion will be name-dropped as past conflicts the New Republic has dealt with

Ashoka will encounter Jedi sects of Order 66 survivors (like K'kruhk's Hidden Temple, Aqinos's Iron Knights, Plett's community, Ephaan Kenzon's academy, or the Altasian Jedi) who are remaining in isolation and training a new generation of Jedi separate from Luke and the New Republic due to wanting to wait longer to make sure the Empire and anti-Jedi bias are gone for good.
  • This could be a way to reintroduce Oppo Rancisis.
    • Obi-Wan Kenobi showed the Inquisition already got him.
      • Coleman Kcaj, not Oppo, was the one seen dead in that show.

Ahsoka will encounter Canon Immigrant Jedi who went undercover living normal lives after Order 66 and are still lightsiders but prefer their new lives and refuse to return to their Jedi roots.
  • Some of the ones whose names were on the safehouse wall in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jax Pavan and Laranth Tarak, Kai Hudorra, Solace, Kazdan Paratus, Tholme (yes, he does die in Dark Disciple, but the Disney shows keep contradicting the novels and comics), Roan Shyrne, T'ra Saa, Bardan Jusik, Empatojayos Brand, and Dass Jennir, all have potential in that regard. Furthermore, this has some precedent with Mill Alibeth and Vivert Stag in the new canon.
  • Jay (given his happiness as a musician) and F from Star Wars: Visions could also show up in this respect.

Ahsoka and not Anakin briefly served in the Padawan Pack during the Battle of Jabiim in Star Wars: Republic and will recall that battle.

The new red lightsaber-wielding villains are from the Lost Tribe of the Sith
  • Jossed. Baylan is an Order 66 survivor who fell, and Shin is his apprentice.

There will be more knights (as opposed to masters and padawans) and non-humans among any new Order 66 survivors to provide more diversity to the bunch, as there are few mid-ranking Order 66 survivors in the new canon and they are overrepresented by humans.

Talon Karrde and his Smugglers Alliance will show up as tenuous New Republic associates.
  • Maybe some of Han's Legends associates who weren't members of the Alliance in the original canon (Jarril, Mako Spince, Rik Duel, Dub McKumb, the Caper Crew from Star Wars: Scoundrels, Roa, Kayta M'Buele, etc.) could appear or get namedropped in that capacity.

The other Grand Admirals will be seen or mentioned and will mostly or entirely be Canon Immigrants from Legends
While Zaarin and Declan have seemingly been Adapted Out (with Grand Admiral Savit and Fleet Admiral Gallus Rex having some of their traits), that still leaves ten others from the old continuity (plus Savit) who could at least get name-dropped, with some but not all having different fates. Using these characters would explain more about what makes a Grand Admiral, what successes the government has had against them. It might also give Thrawn a Worthy Opponent or ally.
  • Savit could appear having been liberated from his likely Imperial imprisonment by the New Republic and either be playing up his disapproval of the Death Star while secretly remaining an Imperial loyalist and The Mole, or the destruction of Alderaan, being imprisoned, or conditioning like the kind Captain Bombadier from The Mandalorian got could give him a genuine Heel–Face Turn and a desire for a rematch with Thrawn.
  • Teshik being captured after Endor would be good worldbuilding but him maybe having conditioning like Bombardier or being imprisoned instead of killed (for a Consulting a Convicted Killer scene) would be interesting.
  • Il-Raz being long dead from suicide over despair about losing Palpatine probably wouldn't need changing.
  • Grand Admiral Batch was wasted in Legends after deserting the Empire due to a failure but being murdered anyway. letting him have the same backstory but avoid being murdered and either defect to the New Republic or join Thrawn has great potential given how he and Thrawn both aren't too political and prefer starfighter tech over superweapons.
  • Grand Admiral Syn's death at Kashyyyk is noncanon due to Aftermath: Life Debt (unless that gets retconned), so he could either be working with the mysterious new darksiders (given his Legends involvement with the Church of the Dark Side) or have surrendered to the New Republic to get back the life he had before the rise of the Empire.
  • Grunger and Pitta going warlord and fighting each other again would be great worldbuilding but having one of them survive their final battle with an escape pod and either oppose Thrawn (maybe for a The Worf Effect fight) or submit to him would be an interesting new twist.
  • Makati is the most likely to still be canon, due to being a Timothy Zahn creation, but he could either be long-dead with no impact on the plot or end up on either side due to him seeming to value central authority over ideology.
  • Grand Admiral Grant as a Retired Monster defector who feels the Imperial remnant is fighting a losing battle could allow for interesting commentary.
  • Action Politician Tigellinus has some story potential, but it's hard to see him surviving this long and being willing to submit to Thrawn and his allies due to his racism (although his politically-motivated murder could be a cautionary tale Thrawn mentions).
  • Functional Addict Takel feels like one of the least likely to interact with Thrawn, despite being a colorful-enough character, unless his cowardice at Endor could matter to the story.

Ahsoka will meet Han Solo and reunite with Chewbacca for an episode
This will involve the former two learning of their respective adventures meeting the latter.

Barriss Offee will appear in the show
It would make sense for her to appear in this, given that she was good friends with Ahsoka before her Face–Heel Turn in the fifth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Filoni did have plans for the character to reappear in the series after season five before those plans were scrapped during the development of the Disney+ limited series revival.
  • Her death was never made canon. It would be amazing if she reappeared to be a fallen Jedi foe to Ahsoka. The only complication is that it would be a total canon lockout; if you didn't watch The Clone Wars, you'd have no goddamn clue who this green checkerface chick is. Good writers have done more with less, and this is a "Watch these 30 hours of cartoons or else" show, apparently, but I don't think so, especially since this is now a story taking place in a galaxy far, far away from a galaxy far, far away.
    • If you didn't watch Clone Wars you'd have no idea who Ahsoka is, and the same can be said for the Ghost Crew if you haven't seen Rebels. At least Barriss was in one of the films.

A version of Coran Horn will appear
Early in the 11 July trailer, an E-wing is seen with a green astromech. In the X-Wing Miniatures game, Coran Horn is put in an E-wing instead of the book X-wing. And his astromech, Whistler, is a green R2 unit. If he has any Force sensitivity in this version is yet to be shown, even if it is him.

Sabine is Force-sensitive
The recent trailer suggest that Ahsoka had done some training with Sabine before the events of the series. Albeit that this could have just been for lightsaber training, but there seems to be something personal to it between them. How Ahsoka comments she walked away from Sabine and Sabine saying how Ahsoka never made things easy for her before bitterly calling her master. Then there is the scene with Sabine hand outstretched with Shin's comment possibly being directed at her that she has no power. Which could be foreshowing.
  • Jossed... sort of. According to Episode 3, Sabine is not Force-sensitive in the classical sense of being talented, but Ahsoka seems optimistic that she can be trained in how to use the Force. Huyang notably doesn't say she's not sensitive at all, simply saying she wouldn't meet Jedi criteria.
    • Later Confirmed in Episode 8 where Sabine is able to use Force Pull and Force Push

Baylan and Shin are freeing Elsbeth from the New Republic
The only reason that makes sense at the moment for Baylan and Shin to attack a New Republic ship is too free Elsbeth who was presumably handed over to the Republic after Ahsoka beat her back in The Jedi. The trailer says they are looking for Thrawn and they need her to find him.
  • Confirmed, and she was expecting them. (And presumably paying them.)

Sabine is being targeted by the antagonist
The Begin trailer has a pre-haircut Sabine fighting Shin. Given some context from the Official trailer the tension between Sabine and Ahsoka it seems that Sabine isn't agreeing to go with Ahsoka right away. So why would Shin be attacking Sabine?

Perhaps if the World between Worlds is involved in the story, they need her to figure out how to open the doorway. She was the one who figured out how to open and close the door in the two episodes of Rebels that involved it. This could be why Hera specifically mentioned Sabine as someone that can help Ahsoka.

  • Confirmed. After Morgan learns Ahsoka escaped with the map, she has Shin go after Sabine due to the latter's connection to Ahsoka.

Thrawn and Sabine will have a face-to-face meeting and Thrawn will bring up her artwork.
A missed opportunity in Rebels to have this happen. It would be rather nice to have Sabine spit in his face like Ezra and Hera did.
  • They do meet face-to-face, but the artwork still remains on Lothal.

There will be a flashback involving Anakin and Baylan.

Live-Action recreation of a Clone Wars scene
With Anakin's voice over in the Force trailer taking place sometime during the Clone Wars perhaps we will get a recreation of a scene like there will be for the Distant Finale of Rebels.
  • Somewhat confirmed, although the "Clone Wars scene" in question is extremely hazy to properly determine it.

Sabine will initially refuse to join Ahsoka.
The trailers suggest there is some bad tension between the two of them. That something happened in the time gap between Rebels and Ahsoka. Given Sabine's abandonment and trust issues she may be in no mood to help Ahsoka. Something will then happen to change her mind.
  • Kind of; it goes a little both ways.

The Loth-Cat will have a comfort animal moment
Sabine will have a really down moment and the cat will cuddle her for support.

The Inquisitor Marrok might be someone we actually encountered before—setting up for a potential Fallen Hero situation.
The fact that Marrok is pretty competent to have survived an encounter with Ahsoka on equal footing shows that he's the kind of former Jedi who would have survived the much-maligned turnover rate of the Inquisitorius. Vader (and by extension, the Imperial Remnant) would have want to keep that person on board—especially as he seems to have no issues working with rogue Jedi like Baylan and Shin.
  • Either he's someone Ahsoka encountered before—considering that she seems curious about how he's faring against her. Not for the first time: she's had worse after discovering Vader was Anakin;
  • Another Clone Wars survivor who may have served screentime but is not expected to come back;
  • Or, just to twist it with sheer Dramatic Irony, Marrok might in fact be a mind-controlled or More than Mind Control-subjected Ezra Bridger.
  • Jossed. He meets an unceremonious end by Part Four, "Fallen Jedi", without any revelation on who he was.

Ezra is Marrok
Elaborating on the above, Ezra is Marrok, and either under More than Mind Control or outright Brainwashed and Crazy, being an unwilling advanced scout for Thrawn.
  • First of all, Marrok was a Knight in later Arthurian lore, where Sir Marrok is a good knight who drove out witches, warlocks, and robbers from the kingdom, before being betrayed by a secret witch in counsel with a witch called Morgan. She turned him into a wolf, a form he was bound in by a talisman. Marrok's helm is very classically knightly, very fitting the Arthurian motif. Morgan Elsbeth is a Nightsister relative, a witch, and we've seen before that Nightsisters are more than capable of More than Mind Control, actual Mind Control on hypnotised individuals, and they like talismans in their magic.
  • Second, related to the above, it's probably not a coincidence that like Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, he has a wolf-themed name. Related to the previous, it also distinguishes him - Skoll and Hati are wolves that hunger for the sun and moon, to consume them. Marrok was an innocent who was transformed against his will. And Ezra has a notable wolf theme, being strongly connected to Loth-Wolves.
  • Third, Marrok is a very skilled and practical duellist - he goes toe to toe with Ahsoka, has no issues with bringing an HK-series assassin droid to back him up, favours the single blade of the classic spinning sabre, only uses the spinning double-bladed gimmick as part of a guided Force Throw to buy him space to get clear. He's a Combat Pragmatist who knows he's outmatched and doesn't bother prolonging the fight. Ahsoka routinely beat up multiple Inquisitors at once, with little trouble, and the only one who demonstrated that kind of skill is the Grand Inquisitor. The Inquisitors are largely kept stunted to ensure they're able to serve their purpose but not as a threat, so why is this one so good? Who else is left who's that good, that isn't otherwise accounted for?
  • Fourth, Marrok is quite small and slender, in line with Ezra's physique.
  • Fifth, interestingly, in Episode Three, while he and Shin are performing a variant Canyon Chase on Ahsoka and Sabine through a pod of Purrgil, she's entirely focused while he gets distracted and looks up at the Purrgil, clearly curious if not fascinated. Odd behaviour for an Inquisitor and experienced mercenary - not so odd for someone brainwashed who has a very particular rapport with Purrgil.
  • Sixth, he's perhaps the only person who could have returned to the galaxy. How? The World Between Worlds. Thrawn had Ezra surrounded by the Seventh Fleet, isolated, and he knew both of the World Between Worlds (including its significance) and Ezra's affinity for it, such that the Emperor wanted his aid in cracking it open. Now, it's established that the World Between Worlds is quite particular about who can use it (Palpatine can only barely crack it open with Sith Magic, and even then, he can't access it himself), so Thrawn can't use it - and he certainly can't bring a fleet back with it. But he could use a brainwashed Ezra a.k.a. Marrok to do it and set events in motion.
  • And... nope. Marrok has died unceremoniously in his second duel with Ahsoka. It looks like he was empowered somehow by Nightsister magic, but nobody comments on his death, making it very unlikely he was Ezra or any other character of significance in disguise.
    • Gladly jossed. Ezra Bridger himself actually appears in person as of Part Six, "Far, Far Away".

Marrok is a heavily nerfed Starkiller
Unlike the game he originated from, Vader never killed his parents, and instead he grew up loosely affiliated with the Jedi order (or maybe the Sith/Empire, but with a moral nominal personal code and sense of justice) as a vigilante, like Ahsoka, until he was forced to join the inquisitiors for unknown reasons. Whether or not he was ever Vader's apprentice in this continuity remains to be seen.
  • Jossed.

There Will be a flashback to what caused Ahsoka to stop training Sabine and leave

Freddie Prinze Jr. will make an appearance in live-action as Kanan Jarrus
Whether in a flashback, or as a Force Ghost, or something entirely different. Bonus points if he gets a moment with Hera and Jacen somehow.

Marrok isn't Ezra
We're obviously meant to think this mysterious masked Force-wielder is Ezra... but what if he isn't? What if he's just some guy who wears a mask because he thinks it's cool?
  • Confirmed - and we never learn who Marrok actually is.

Ahsoka and Sabine will end up stopping by Mandalore
Ahsoka and Sabine will go looking to recruit Bo-Katan in their search for Thrawn and Ezra (as well showing off a now-thriving Mandalore in the process of rebuilding). Bo will refuse as Mandalore needs her help right now, but she points them towards a Mandalorian who's currently taking a well-earned vacation, one Din Djarin.
  • In support of this, Bo-Katan appears in one of the final trailers.

Sabine will connect the Force when she thinks of it as art not an engineering project or code of conduct.
Sabine is hampering her connection to the force as she has the wrong impression of it. Being a Mandalorian she was raised with a strong sense of honour. Kanan has clearly influenced her and Sabine has changed as seen by allowing Fen Rau and Gar Saxon survive after duelling them. Its possible that Sabine sees being a Jedi and thus the Force as a code to be followed, similar to solving an engineering problem, something that Sabine is highly talented at having built the Duchess at about 13 years old.Kanan mentioned that Sabine’s emotions prevent her connecting with the Force when training with the Darksaber. Art allows Sabine a controlled outlet for her emotions and it is this control over her emotions which will allow Sabine to access the Force.

The Bendu will appear
The Bendu stated to Thrawn that he is one beyond Thrawn’s power to destroy. The Bendu was supposed to have talked off screen with Ahsoka. He will mention getting kicked by Sabine.

Ezra and Thrawn are on Earth
The first two episodes reveal that Ezra and Thrawn have travelled to another galaxy, and references are made to traveling throughout space and time. Since Star Wars is "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away", it's not too crazy to think that they may be traveling to Earth, either in the distant past or the present.
  • Obviously jossed. The new location is revealed to be Peridea - and there weren't (aren't) any snail-like people inhabiting the actual Earth.

Marrok is Barriss Offee
Even since Rebels, there's been rampant speculation that Barriss would turn out to be an Inquisitor. What better place to include her than in a show about Ahsoka, especially since she's the reason Ahsoka left the Jedi Order? She could just be using a voice changer and attempting to look masculine to throw us off from guessing her true identity.
  • Absolutely jossed.

There will be a Flashback scene of Ahsoka training with Anakin, and younger Ahsoka will be played by Ashley Eckstein.
We've glimpsed some shots of Anakin in the trailers, played by Hayden Christensen. Rosario Dawson looks a bit old to play Clone Wars-era Ahsoka, but Ashley Eckstein could fill in for those scenes in a Casting Gag.
  • Confirmed in that there were flashbacks to the Clone Wars, but Jossed in that young Ahsoka would be played by Eckstein. She's instead played by Ariana Greenblatt, the actress who played young Gamora in Infinity War. Eckstein is only two years younger than Dawson, so I don't think she could connivingly play a teenager in live-action

Hera will go rogue, take the Ghost, recruit Zeb, and go help out Ahsoka and Sabine
Rebels reunion, baby!
  • Hera has gone rogue - but she has yet to bring in Zeb.

The Yuuzhan Vong will make their debut
They were planned for The Clone Wars, but then the show got cancelled. So now, in a series exploring the idea of intergalactic travel, it would be the perfect time for them to debut.

The new information provides a solution to the "No More Jedi" in the Sequels
Luke's academy wasn't truly the last bastion-there are other Jedi out there, but they're in a distant galaxy, and all information on how to get there was destroyed. For all intent and purposes, the Jedi of the Star Wars galaxy are the only ones left because they can't do extragalactic travel.

The series(or at least the first season) takes place between The Mandalorian Season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett
Ahsoka has been cagey on speaking to her former master's son, but the events of the first season will see her having a change of heart on the matter, and an episode will have their first meeting, perhaps as a way of mending her feelings about Anakin.
  • Jossed - The events at the end of The Mandalorian Season 3 are brought up in Episode 7.

Marrok is a brainwashed Inquisitor version of Cal Kestis
Going on a few of the WMG above, he could just as plausibly be an older version of a well-known protagonist of canonized video games. A fittingly ironic twist on a character who has crossed lightsabers with the Inquisitors before, and Cameron Monaghan is the right age and build to be Marrok. Plus, it would kind of undercut the search for Ezra in another galaxy for him to have somehow already returned.

Marrok is actually just a reanimated corpse
Given his apparent death in the fourth episode with so little revealed about him and the black smoke coming out of the gash in his wound (similar to the green mist leaked out of Savage Opress during his death, Elsbeth may have just used Nightsister magic to reanimate a dead Inquisitor or made a magic construct outfitted in a dead Inquisitor's gear (possibly the Eighth Brother's given the helmet’s resemblance).

Ezra will return home, reunite with the rest of the Ghost crew, and become Jacen Syndulla's new master to honor Kanan
It would be a heartwarming scene to see the entire crew (minus Kanan), reuniting with Ezra when Ahsoka and Sabine return him, as Zeb getting word of Ezra's return and Jacen would take Kanan's place in welcoming his father's apprentice home.

If it's confirmed Jacen is Force-sensitive, it would make sense for Ezra (if he actually does return and survive in the season finale) to take his master's son as his Padawan. It would protect Jacen from joining Luke's academy, the same way how Grogu joining Din and the Mandalorians will save his own life.

Ezra possesses Kanan Jarrus' lightsaber.
While infiltrating the Imperial Lothal base, Ezra would have likely recovered his deceased master's lightsaber his killer, Pryce, had taken as a trophy. It would make sense for Ezra to recover Kanan's weapon after handing Sabine his own.

And when Sabine and Ezra seemingly reunite, Sabine will attempt to hand him his old lightsaber, as if saying she's not fit to be a Jedi like him. But Ezra reassures her that the lightsaber is hers now, right before showing her Kanan's lightsaber he took back from Pryce before his disappearance and remodeled it into his own liking, the same way Huyang says Sabine has done with Ezra's.

  • Jossed: Ezra doesn't have a lightsaber, however, he is able to build a new one almost like Kannan's due to Huyang keeping spares for it, since the latter is who taught Kannan to build his saber.

Baylan hates both the Republic and the Empire and is hoping both sides will destroy each other in the coming war
Considering that he's confirmed to be an Order 66 survivor, the idea that Baylan hates both the Republic (seeing it as the same system that let Palpatine kill nearly all of his fellow jedi) as well as the Empire (being the result of Palpatine's manipulations) would make sense. The whole reason he's helping return Thrawn is because he's hoping both governments will destroy themselves and what's left can make a better governing body.

Ahsoka is not physically in the World Between Worlds.
When Ahsoka comes to at the end of Fallen Jedi she is on a pathway in the dimension, but she is nowhere near one of the portals. Her mind may be projecting her there while her body is unconscious at the bottom of the cliff. Hera will find her and mend her back to health.
  • Seems to have been the case. Chopper had detected something before Ahsoka had finished her encounter with Anakin. It's questionable if she was ever in the World Between Worlds to begin with.

Ahsoka will use the Purrgil to get to the other galaxy.
To go along with the above theory, once Ahsoka awakens back in the material world she will commune with the Purrgil still on the planet to get their help and take her, and maybe Hera, to the other galaxy.
  • Confirmed, though she isn't taking Hera with her.

The Anakin Ahsoka meets in the World Between Worlds is not only pre-fall Anakin, but Vader as well.
Beyond the consistency of Anakin's appearance as a Force Ghost in Special Edition Return of the Jedi, the very use of the Imperial March does suggest his Sith persona is also present. The difference, unlike as Vader claimed in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin as a Force ghost has finally come to terms that he is both Vader and himself, and would seek to impart this acceptance and clarity to Ahsoka at her Darkest Hour (especially as her loss to Baylan is clearly coming out of her Game-Breaking Injury out of desperation). It also helps serve as closure for their previous, much-tragic battle in "Twilight of the Apprentice".
  • Mostly confirmed. Anakin is mostly the same as he was during the Clone Wars. But later in the episode, he basically slips into Vader (albeit simply to test Ahsoka), his eyes turn yellow, and the blade of his lightsaber comes out red.

The existence of the Eye of Sion will be classified Top Secret by the New Republic
This would serve to explain why Carson Teyva didn't mention it while trying to convince that armchair officer to send help to Nevarro in The Mandalorian season 3: He couldn't. The bozo wasn't cleared and he had an allegedly-former Imperial in the room, to boot. Just another example of the New Republic sticking its head in the sand that will culminate in the government being decapitated by the First Order in the future.
  • Episode 7 reveals that the discovery of the Eye of Sion at Seatos happens sometime after the events on Nevarro.

Sabine will be the one that taps into the power on Peridea.
There is a build up for her to use the force. The mothers got quite paranoid by her presence even though she has yet to use the force. Even calling her dangerous. More so than Baylan and Shin's presence. If she falls further into her depression the power might even seek her out.

Leia's intervention on Hera's court-marshalling plays at least some role in Xiono's future didain for the Resistance.
Xiono is plainly capable of holding a grudge that can influence his judgement, despite his hypocritical judgements of General Syndulla allowing personal feelings to influence hers.

Upon returning home, Ezra Bridger will be rewarded for his efforts to stop Thrawn's threat
Mostly by means of getting the medal, akin to how A New Hope itself ends.

After his humiliation at the hearing, Xiono will begin a campaign for Chancelllor.
Building off the WMG about Xiono's disdain for the Resistance, some of that disdain leads him to want to make a change to New Republic leadership, and he officially announces his candidacy for Chancellor against Mothma at the next election cycle, which will become a recurring conflict in the shows going forward. Imperial Remnant agents in the NR such as Elia Kane will support his run, as his denial of the Imperial Remnant's activities makes him a useful idiot to their schemes.

Before her capture, Morgan Elsbeth was relaying messages between Thrawn and Pellaeon
It's how the Shadow Council knew Thrawn was going to be coming back, but Pellaeon was left floundering when Morgan was captured, cutting off his only line of communication with Thrawn, allowing Gideon to make a play for leadership of the Shadow Council.

Baylan seeks to revive or replace the Mortis Gods
The season ends with a shot of Baylan standing on a cliff carved into an effigy of the Mortis Gods, with the Father pointing to a glowing mountain in the distance. The Daughter's image is headless, but Morai has suddenly appeared on Peridea. Baylan seeks to restore balance be reviving or re-embodying the Mortis Gods, likely as a new Father. A follow-up series/film will see Ahsoka taking the Daughter's place, as either a new Daughter, or a new identity(the Mother, perhaps?).

But who(if anyone) will be the third?

Ezra will blame himself for Sabine and Ahsoka being stranded, and will develop depression.
His depression would be so serious that he would refuse to return to Lothal, under the motto: "If they can't go home, I don't deserve to go."

Peridea holds the prison containing Abeloth and this will lead to her reintroduction into Canon
For a while, it's long been hinted at a great darkness at the edge or beyond the galaxy. Peridea seems to be where it's coming from. Who else could cause dark-side users to want to flee in such a manner? Furthermore, we see statues of the Mortis Gods in the final episode, pointing at a light in the distance. In Legends, they were responsible for keeping her imprisoned. That light might be her prison.

It's Peridea that allows Sabine to tap so deeply into the Force
Prior to arriving on Peridea, Sabine showed no aptitude with the Force whatsoever, it was only after arriving on the planet that she started to become more connected with it, so there's something about Peridea that's giving her the powers. Once she leaves the planet or whatever's causing it is neutralised, her Force powers will fade.

Thrawn's mysterious cargo are organs harvested from dead Purrgils at their graveyard around Peridea.
The organs have been used as an improvised fuel and source of power that has kept the Chimaera running all those years. And now with access to proper research & development facilities and expertise back in the home galaxy, Thrawn can potentially have the Purrgil organs utilized as a new form of hyperdrive system.

Thrawn's mysterious cargo is several hundred Nightsisters.
The mysterious power that Baylan seeks has either killed the Nightsisters of Peridea or caused them to go into suspended animation. The Great Mothers' deal with Thrawn involves bringing them all to Dathomir so they could be revived, in exchange for their participation in Thrawn's schemes.

If there’s a Season 2 Merrin will make an appearance
She’s one of the last night sisters still in the main Galaxy and assuming she’s survived until this point, maybe she’ll try to oppose the new Nightsisters and/or provide backup with Cal.

Thrawn will be appalled at the annihilation of Alderaan when he learns of it.
Thrawn is at his core a pragmatic man. The casual annihilation of an entire core world via the atrocity machine known as the Death Star will be seen by him as the catalyst that eventually led to the Empire's rejection and demise. Along with the dog-kicking evil that the Shadow Council seem to want to engage in, it will put a seed of doubt in his mind as to whether or not the Empire really is the best means to bring order to the galaxy.

Sabine's relationship with Ezra.
Despite Ezra claiming he saw Sabine as the "sister he never had", Sabine's actions resemble less of a platonic friend or a sibling and more of a grieving lover, helps by the fact didn't seem to be convinced he saw her that way, considering his advances towards her in Star Wars: Rebels. In fact, considering her actions in the series, it would seem like she started to reciprocated these feelings when he dissapeared when he took Thrawn and his Armada to Peridea. Could Sabine feel regret for not telling him how she really feels about him when it was too late or was it pure familial? Considering their reuninon, which looked romantic in appearance. Not to mention, was Sabine's reason for staying with Ahsoka on Peridea due to also feeling guilty for not telling him that she gave the map to Balon Skoll in a desperate attempt to find him or that she couldn't bear to face him because of the same reason? However she and Ahsoka did try to to catch up with him and Thrawn, only for him to escape and return to the main galaxy, where thankfully Ezra makes back to Hera and the New Republic. At this point, Sabine's feelings for him are never truly made clear in the show.

Ezrabine Teased?
If the reunion indicated anything, it seemed to tease a future romance between Ezra and Sabine with hug nearly coming off as romantic nature, putting further question into the nature of their relationship being simply platonic going forward. In fact, the scenes they had on screen together, especially when interacting with the Noti. When Ezra mentioned how much he missed durring his exile in Peridea with Sabine and the Noti baby in the next pod waving at each other while they are talking. If Sabine's feelings for Ezra have indeed grown beyond strong friendship, especially the time they could have spent together developing their relationship, perhaps a romantic relationship that could have led (and might still lead) to marriage and children. This is the second time Sabine has noticed the Noti baby. This could be tease that she might become a mother herself one day. Another example ironically is shown in the season finale, where Sabine and Ahsoka are stranded on Peridea, taking Ezra's place in exile with no current way to return home with Ahsoka even stating "it's time to move on", however if the music played in the ending is of any indication, there is a highly significant but brief, subtle musical reference to similar to John Williams’ “Across the Stars,” the love theme for Anakin and Padme’ from Star Wars Episode II: The Attack of the Clones here, which is followed immediately by Sabine’s theme, not only indicating Sabine might've sensed Anakin's force ghost, but it also seemed to foreshadow Sabine’s romantic arc in the future.

The lead Great Mother (Klothow) played by Claudia Black is the Mother/Abeloth from the Mortis gods
The statues on Peridea point to it having some connection to The Ones. It would be odd for the statue that is presumably of the Father to be pointing towards the Mother’s prison; pointing away as a warning to leave seems more likely. Like Abeloth the Great Mothers had to be released and Klothow seems to be very much in charge. It also seems unusual that one of the actors would have more name recognition (especially within the same genre) than the other two if they are supposed to be a trio of equals. It could be that the other two are avatar bodies being used as puppets to hide the truth or simply illusions. Their names being derived from the Ancient Greek Fates is also interesting in that it hints at more power than we’ve seen so far. It would also explain the oddity of the only three Dathomirians left on Peridea being very powerful Night Sisters who were, coincidentally, imprisoned for some unknown reason. Klothow is also the only one to show any reaction to Morgan’s death. Lastly, what better way for Abeloth to sow chaos than to set Thrawn loose in the New Republic with whatever is in all that cargo?

The Hickey on Sabine's neck, indicated a more parental reason for staying on Peridea

If the scene between Sabine and Ezra in Episode 7 is indication, you notice a spot on her neck, often looked as a hickey, implying her and Ezra had sex when they reunited. It also seems to indicate that her reason for staying on Peridea was not out of staying with Ahsoka, but because she realized she was pregnant, so her reasons were due to wanting to protect her and Ezra's unborn child, which explains her choice at staying with Ahsoka, to protect her and Ezra's son or daughter.

Captain Enoch will be the one in canon who betrays Thrawn
With Ruhk, the one who did so in Legends, having died in Rebels and Enoch already being the Suspiciously Similar Substitute, he would be the best choice to fit this role.
