Friday Night Funkin' Antiverse: VS MARIO
is a Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod created by Merchanto, based on Vs Sonic.exe and different Super Mario Bros. media, mostly horror-related ones, as expected.
The Antiverse is the polar opposite of everything that exists, including certain familiar hedgehog... but with his plumber rival. Now Anti-Boyfriend (not to be confused with the one from Vs. Scourge) must battle different versions of Mario, along with her girlfriend and even Lucas. The gates of Hell are more than open. Will you come in?
Not to be confused with other Mario horror mods, like Friday Night Funkin': Mario's Madness, Mario's Monday Night Massacre, Mario FNF Port, Mario Mix, Friday Night Funkin': Nightmare Of The Mushroom Kingdom or Purgatory Powerdown.

- Adaptation Dye-Job: Both this BF and his girlfriend have this:
- Anti-Boyfriend has brown hair, in contrast to BF's natural light blue hair, and a slightly darker skin. He wears a blue beret on his head with a red pompom and brim instead of a red cap, a purplish gray sweater with a blue X sign instead of a white t-shirt with a no symbol, red pants instead of blue pants, and blue boots with gray soles and no shoelaces instead of red sneakers with white soles.
- Anti-Girlfriend looks more like Princess Peach in all blue with Pauline-styled pompous hair, instead of having the design similar to the girl from Rhythm Heaven that vanilla GF has. Whether Anti-GF is just dressed like that to match the Mario theme of the mod or if this is just her normal attire is never mentioned.
- Adaptation Species Change: Anti-Girlfriend is an angel instead of a demon.
- Alternate Company Equivalent: Anti Piracy Mario looks awfully similar to Charles Mariotinet, from the Mario Mix web series/Game Mod, with some slight differences like colour tones and heights. The fact that both share the same voice and are based off of Majin Sonic also makes their similarities obvious.
- Ambiguous Situation: Lucas is seen with his head impaled on a stake like in the Game Over of Mario 85 in "REVOLT", yet he's alive and well throughtout the rest of the mod. Unexplained Recovery? Is the dead one a Lucas from the Antiverse while the playable one is the original from Mario 85? Who knows.
- Art Shift: Berserker Mario changes his appearance from the Super Mario Bros. 8 bit look from the Dorkly animation to a more drawn and defined artstyle in the poster arts to match with the rest of the mod's artstyle. He looks as intimidating as the rest of the horror characters, despite of him coming from a darkly comedic web video.
- Beware the Silly Ones: Speedrunner Mario, though nonetheless still a dangerous antagonist in the Something About series, is usually as bizarrely comedic as a lot of the characters in the show. Here, however, he looks surprisingly threatening, even with the TerminalMontage artstyle, not to mention the fact that his notes are as glitchly speedy as his TAS control. He still looks funny in his art gallery poster◊, though.
- The Blank: The Faceless Mario in "I STILL SEE YOU", of course... until he isn't.
- Expy: Anti Piracy Mario is clearly based on Majin Sonic, with his voice being one of the instruments from the theme of Bob-omb Battlefield (similar to Charles Mariotinet and the Bob-omb in Hop-Hop Heights) instead of the Genesis trumpet in Majin's voice.
- Failed Attempt at Scaring: Anti-Boyfriend is seen unfazed by all of the horror versions of Mario he encounters throught the mod. Unlike his main counterpart, however, it's not because of him being a Fearless Fool, but rather that he just... seems to not give a shit.
- Named Like My Name: The Anti Piracy Mario from this mod is not the same as the one in Friday Night Funkin': Nightmare Of The Mushroom Kingdom. Same goes for this Anti-Boyfriend to the one from Vs. Scourge.
- Off with His Head!: Poor Yoshi got his head cut off by MARIO. Same goes to Lucas in "REVOLT", while also getting it impaled on a stake.
- Spared by the Adaptation: While Bowser fails to escape in Something About Super Mario World before Speedrunner Mario catches up, it's thanks to Anti-Boyfriend distracting him in "0-Stars Run" that he and Peach are able to escape safely while the Speed Demon's focus is solely on one target.
- Take That!: demoni c mario is a Joke Character based on a Twitter account named... well, Demonic Mario. He's a swearing user who hates on everything he doesn't like for no apparent reason.
