  • Character Catchphrase: "Selflessness, contribution, service."
  • Childhood Friend: To Kei.

Don't try and boss me around.
Charisma: Rebel
Age: 22
Birthday: May 31 (Gemini)
Height: 166 cmnote
Room No.: 104

  • Animal Motif: "Wolf" is his nickname in the gang he is involved in. His first Charisma Break, which happens under a full moon, especially evokes the wolf motif, with him staring at the full moon on a cliffside in the MV. When Ohse paints him a lone wolf howling at the moon, he treasures the painting.
  • Big "NO!": Often uses the short, but loud and firm variant, and it is often part of his songs. In LONE WOLF, the full moon even has a big "NO" on it, and the song ends with this trope.
  • Childhood Friend: To Iori.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Iori calls him "Saru-chan", which the latter finds humiliating.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Gets angry easily, and often gets teased for this.
  • Hot-Blooded
  • Image Song:
    • LONE WOLF from season 1.
    • Double Down! Lifelong Rebellion from season 2.
  • Last-Name Basis: With the exception of Fumiya, all the other Charismatics refer to him as "Sarukawa" or "Saru".
  • Rebellious Spirit: As the Charisma of Rebel, he is built around this. He will not take any orders from anyone.
  • Reverse Psychology: He will do the opposite of what you ask, including doing something you ask him to not do. Terra often exploits this to get him to fulfill a particular request.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Much more foul-mouthed than the other members of the sharehouse.

I'm sorry.
Charisma: Internal Punishment
Age: 21
Birthday: June 14 (Gemini)
Height: 169 cmnote
Room No.: 203

  • Apologises a Lot: Very much so. Even his sequence in Insanely Charismatic is mainly him apologizing.
  • Chronic Self-Deprecation: Always calls himself degrading terms and believes himself to be just a nuisance to others. His self-esteem is so bad that he is often Driven to Suicide.
  • Driven to Suicide: Played for Laughs, as he has attempted suicide onscreen on multiple occasions, but always ends up fine in the end.
  • The Eeyore: Not often seen happy.
  • Image Song:
    • Snow Melt from season 1.
    • Hell Lazy, Psychology from season 2.
  • In-Series Nickname: Terra calls him Obake-kunnote .
  • Precision F-Strike: "Holy shit" in Charisma Battle Anthem.
  • Suicide as Comedy: He attempts suicide a lot, talks about the best suicide method with Fumiya, and often suddenly flings himself out of a window, all of which are played for laughs.

Let's get sexy.
Charisma: Sex
Age: 30
Birthday: December 6 (Sagittarius)
Height: 185 cmnote
Room No.: 204

  • Ambiguously Gay: Often tries to get it on with everyone in the sharehouse, but has never explicitly had his sexuality confirmed.
  • Gratuitous English: "Sexy", "ecstasy", among others.
  • Image Song:
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: He makes innuendos, strips, and attempts to bath or sleep together with others a lot, and does not mind being called a pervert, but is a Nice Guy.
  • Mr. Fanservice: He lives up to his title of World Sexy Ambassador. His Charisma Break outfits are very revealing and show off his ripped body a lot.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: During the Charismatics' visit to the Tendo household, Amahiko completely drops his innuendos and eccentricity, becoming oddly quiet and serious. The remaining Charismatics immediately know there is something off.
  • Sex Comedy: Being the Charisma of Sex, he has a lot of these moments, ranging from making innuendos to stripping right there.

    Fumiya Ito

No good? Why's that?
Charisma: Good & Evil

Birthday: April 28 (Taurus)
Height: 175 cmnote
Room No.: 206

  • The Baby of the Bunch: Of the main cast, at only 19.
  • Badass Biker: Seen riding a moped in the music video for When The Charisma Go Marching In, as well as multiple episodes in the series. Unfortunately, he is very reckless.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: He appears in a daze all the time, sometimes does not seem to listen to conversations, but is actually one hell of a schemer and Manipulative Bastard.
  • Big Eater: Played for Laughs, notably when he buys multiple cakes to share on Christmas but revealed to have eaten them all himself.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Does this a lot, usually regarding the series' update and asking money from the audience.
  • First-Name Basis: Refers to everyone by their personal name.
  • Image Song:
  • Manipulative Bastard: Often manipulates the other Charismatics just to see how they would react.
  • Say My Name: Others often do this to him.
  • Sweet Tooth: Likes to eat cake as well as other pastries.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Due to his ambiguous sense of good and evil, he often ends up doing no good and the other Charismatics are wary of him. In the second season, he cooperates with Nakagami and betrays the rest of the Charismatics, but at the same time messes around with Nakagami as well until he bribes him with a lot of money.

Others

    open/close all folders

    Soemon Nakagami
A scientist introduced in the second season of the series.
  • Laughably Evil: He is very careless when it comes to collateral damage and disturbance he may cause, but at the same time his poor decisions and fanboying towards the Charismatics make him more hilarious than dangerous.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: He aims to study and work with the Charismatics to solve the energy problem that has been plaguing humanity, but in order to accomplish that, he stops at nothing to hunt down the Charismatics.

    Shu Torahime
Nakagami's assistant.
  • Made of Iron: Survives getting hit by Fumiya's moped and stampeded by the Charismatics.
  • The Mole: After the destruction of Nakagami's lab and the Charismatics' return to their sharehouse, Torahime infiltrates the sharehouse and spies on the Charismatics for Nakagami.
