     Bell Daikokuten (Bel Daizora)
Voiced by: Mutsumi Tamura (Japanese); Morgan Berry (English)

  • Anti-Hero: He's the protagonist of Dynamite Battle/QuadDrive, but his behavior and some of the things he does don't exactly fall in line with the "heroic" type.
  • Anti-Villain: That being said, he is still capable of being a good person when he wants to be.
  • Audience Surrogate: He exhibits very grounded traits of bladers in real life. We see him refuse to train outside practice battles and opts to upgrade and customize Belfyre and his launcher. Likewise, real bladers can't affect performance with special training because no matter how strong their launch is or how much control they have, a bad combo can't keep up with a competitively viable one.
  • Barely-Changed Dub Name: His first name is spelt with only one "l" in the dub.
  • Big Fancy House: Bel lives in a mansion comparable to Hyde & Phi's but has scattered them with more traps designed to scare people for fun rather than the Dread Tower's more dangerous tests.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy: Bel is an incredibly strong blader, an incredible amount of resonance due to the bond between him and Belfyre, a talented designer with not just the Quad system, but his upgrades as well, and he has absolute confidence in himself. If only he trained more to perfect his abilities instead of trying to play pranks.
  • Character Catchphrase: Whenever he loses a battle, he claims he's just simply "preparing for victory".
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: Despite winning every battle against the Legendary Bladers (fairly), he doesn't get awarded as the MVP of the Great Aerial Tour because broke the rules by challenging Legends outside his turn and when he hasn't earned the right to.
  • Chuunibyou: He calls himself the 'Dark Prince', talks in Third-Person Person, and, as described below, he's just some kid who's way into evil dress up. Though aside from most of his behavior fitting the "evil eye" variety he doesn't go through the trouble of trying to convince others of his 'dark prince' persona because he's already convinced of it himself. Strange thing is, this works in his favor as he has complete resonance with Belfyre without the side effects that Shu or Aiger suffered.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Downplayed. He's a good, honest-to-heart blader who fights fair. However, he can be quite a sore loser, selfish and a bit brash at times. While he never outright cheats, he does his best to make sure Belfyre is always using a more updated and advanced system; While everyone was using Lightning beys his was of a new system, when everyone started using the same system as he does he kept adding more upgrades that stretch the limit of a reasonable amount of abilities for a single bey, then when he was given the chance to rebuild Belfyre he opts for an upgrade instead and creates the Overdrive system.
  • Dub Name Change: Daikokuten —> Daizora.
    • His nickname also changed: Demon King —> Dark Prince
    • And finally his Bey: Dynamite Belial —> Destruction Belfyre
    • And later when he upgrades his Bey: Dangerous Belial —> Devastate Belfyre
  • Expy: Of Hyde. Both are associated with a demon bey (Hades is known as the king of the underworld in Greek mythology while Belial, which Belfyre is based off, is one of the kings of the Ars Goetia demons) and proclaims themselves as a "Dark Prince". Both bladers are energetic and loud and come off as a "villain" to other bladers but deep down is a genuinely good person who just wants to enjoy battling and their homes are rigged with all sorts of traps that challengers must go through in order to reach them (While the traps in Hyde's Dread Tower/Dead Gran are outright dangerous, the traps in Bel's Phantom's Gate/Gates of Hell are intended for good fun but still lack plenty of safety features). He also shares a strong connection with a Phoenix wielder, Phenomeno like the brothers Hyde and Phi.
  • Fashionable Asymmetry: He wears a grey shirt with one long sleeve on the right arm.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: While they don't outright despise him, Bel tends to rub people the wrong way. They either think he doesn't take things seriously or that he's arrogant.
  • Genius Bruiser: Downplayed. While he isn't super-intelligent, he is very clever and knowledgeable on the basic scientific principles that Beyblade is built upon. He created the DB system and included a mode change regardless of parts being used. Whenever he sees an ability of a Legendary blader, he upgrades Belial to do the same and even makes sure that new upgrades can be used with the previous. He also discovered a smaller gear ratio and ball bearings can improve the strength of his launcher.
  • Harmless Villain: Despite playing the role of the Dark Prince (Demon King) the most he ever does is cause great annoyance among others. Beyblades aside, he's caused some of the most property damage out of all the antagonists but it was unintentional due to his carelessness. He's no real threat like the Snake Pit, Phi, or Arthur Peregrine.
    • Evil Is Hammy: What sets him apart as a "villain" is that most antagonists are often quiet but get aggressive during battle, while he frequently bursts out an Evil Laugh and gets very flashy and expressive with his cape.
Hanna Suiro: Even though Bel calls himself the "Dark Prince" and stuff, he's just a kid who's way into dress-up.
  • Heroic BSoD: After Basara bursts Belfyre in their match with Roar Balkesh, not only does Bel refuse a rematch, (something that Ranzo notes is unusual for him), but he wanders a street in a daze, repeating the Madness Mantra "I messed up".
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite the title he gives himself, Bel isn't really sinister in any way. Rather, he's simply an eccentric and somewhat socially awkward boy with a taste for theatrics. That said, he's proud and mischievous and knows how to portray an intimidating persona that, coupled with his impressive natural skills and thirst for victory, help to make him live up to his self-appointed title.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: So out of the loop that despite being a blader, he doesn't know who Legendary Bladers like Valt Aoi are or even about the WBBA.
  • Logical Weakness: It's easy to be on top when you have the only bey of your type, but once everyone starts adapting and copying your system, it becomes harder and harder to stay on top. Even when he adds the various upgrades, they fall apart once someone figures out how to work around it. Normally, a blader at this point would start working on their technique, but Bel does not train nor can he truly affect his power by working out due to his small frame.
  • Multiform Balance: The main gimmick of Dynamite Beys. Belial has two main modes that it can switch from: Low Mode, by arranging the layer from top to bottom starting with the Core, then the Blade, followed by the Armor; and High Mode, which is arranged by Armor, Blade, Core. These two modes allow for either a low sitting defense, or a high standing offense.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: In comparison to the Lightning beys, Bel's Beyblade is smaller and more compact than most other systems, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in power and defense with the Dynamite Core and the Armor. Bel himself is shorter than most other protagonists, but still a powerful Blader all around.
  • The Prankster: Bel often plays pranks to scare people from his mansion, intimate them as they arrive to challenge him, and places a variety of traps throughout his home. Though in reality, he just finds it fun and isn't as malicious about it as Hyde was.
  • Primary-Color Champion: Downplayed. While there's red on his bey, the primary color is black, he doesn't have yellow but does have gold, and has minimal blue accents.
  • Raised by Grandparents: He lives with his grandfather, Jingemon, who's just as much of a prankster as he is.
  • Red Baron: He's known as the Dark Prince and his skills as a Blader show off how he earned that moniker.
  • Signature Move: Dynamite Bomber/Destruction Wrecker. Dynamite Belial strikes it's opponents Beyblades with the Dynamite Blade at full forces. When he acquires Dangerous Belial/Devastate Belfyre, his signature move becomes Dangerous Bomber/Devastate Wrecker. Additional ones include:
    • Venture Shoot: Belial accelerates at high speeds and bombards the opposing Beyblade with swift attacks.
    • Venture Flash: Belial builds up speed by circling around the edge of the Beystadium and slams into the opposing Beyblade with the Dynamite Blade.
  • Strong and Skilled: Unlike most of the other protagonists with the exception of Dante, Bel not only has enough experience as a Blader before the start of the series, but he also invented the Dynamite Battle system, making him able to challenge mid-level (Basara) and Legendary Bladers (Lui) who are using the Surge beys from the previous era.
    • Later he gets a deconstruction. While he is definitely skilled, he's not skilled enough when everyone started updating their beys to the Quad System. To compensate, he makes add-ons or Evolution Gears to provide his bey with extra abilities, but it still falls short and it takes him a fully upgraded launcher, evolved Beyblade, and the Perfect Gear for him to be at his best.
  • Supporting Protagonist: Bel might still be the point of view character, but QuadStrike focuses more on his new rival Pri "Quadra" Forsythe.
  • Wolverine Claws: His Beyblade's avatar sports a pair of golden ones.
  • Worf Effect: After establishing his skill and strength by defeating arguably the two best bladers in the world, he gets the receiving end of this. Plenty of his losses happen after acquiring an Evolution Gear and showing off how improved Belfyre has become. Then his win count took a dip after getting Dangerous Belfyre and the fully customized launcher. Special mention goes to Ilya, who won while he had 3/4 of the gears while she had a poor track record, and Valt, who despite losing often in this season, burst Devastate Belfyre while the burst lock was activated.

     Basara Suiryu (Bashara Suiro)
Voiced by: Katsumi Fukuhara (Japanese); Beau Bridgland (English)

  • Bad Powers, Good People: The Balkesh series of beys have previously been used by antagonists, but Bashara is very friendly and supportive of his peers. While he does develop a rivalry with Bel, he's not openly antagonizing him like previous Balkesh wielders.
  • Odd Friendship: The very serious and stoic Basara forms a close bond with the outgoing and snarky Ilya.
  • Only Sane Man: Between Bel's prankster antics, Ranzo's naivety, and Hannah's michevious nature, he tends to act as the voice of reason and the least eccentric of the core group.
  • Put on a Bus: Surprisingly doesn't take part in the events of QuadStrike possibly staying with BC Sol to perfect his skills.
  • So Last Season: His Death Solomon is a Lightning Bey and he's able to pull off a Lightning Launch, indicating he's skilled enough, but against the Dynamite Layer System used by Bell's Belial, he comes off short.
  • Took a Level in Badass: After discarding Demise Spellscraper, he creates a new Bey, Roar Balkesh, and manages to defeat both Bel and Ranzo back-to-back in his first battles with it.

     Hannah Suiryu (Hanna Suiro)
Voiced by: Rina Honnizumi (Japanese); Michelle Marie (English)

  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Hannah is much braver, and more outgoing and confident than her older brother Basara, who has to reign her in when she becomes too reckless.
  • Tagalong Kid: She's frequently tags with Basara but doesn't do any battling. Later when Basara trains with BC Sol, she still hangs out with Bel and Ranzo.

     Ranzo Kiyama
Voiced by: Fumihiro Okabayashi (Japanese); Luis Bermudez (English)

  • Gratuitous Foreign Language: He makes occasional use of Portuguese, since he's from Brazil.
  • Odd Name Out: Since he isn't Japanese like Rantaro and Ranjiro, Ranzo's name is written in katakana instead of kanji. Additionally, his name is also pronounced as his first name first, and then his last name.
  • Nice Guy: While a bit intrusive, he nonetheless means well, gets along well with most of his friends once they get to know him, and warms up to Bel, Basara, and Hannah.
  • Only Friend: Along with Hannah, he's the only one to check up on Bel after Belfyre is broken and after Basara and Ilya defect for Rashad's side.
  • Recurring Element: Similar to Ranjiro, he's yet another Kiyama related to Rantaro and uses a Roktavor Beyblade, ironically starting with Glide Roktavor (both Rantaro and Ranjiro also used Glide Roktavor during Surge).
  • Signature Move: With Glide Roktavor, Ranzo has access to Mach Tornado and Super Tornado. With Cyclone Roktavor, he has his main move, Double Wing Cyclone: using the stamina wings from the Cyclone Blade.
  • The Worf Effect: Ranzo is a strong blader, having a status as a champion of the South American league. Despite this though, he suffers a lot of defeats and rarely has any onscreen victories to his name.

     Rashad Goodman
Voiced by: Daisuke Ono (Japanese); Jordan Dash Cruz (English)

  • Archangel Raphael: The motif of his bey, Greatest Raphael, who replaces his red Salvage Valtryek.
  • Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: During much of the final arcs of Dynamite Battle, he more or less becomes this, especially once he starts calling himself the High King.
  • But for Me, It Was Tuesday: Downplayed, he knows about Phelix, he knows he beat him in the past, but doesn't remember calling his match against him boring. As such, he doesn't understand why he wants revenge. That is until Phelix defeats Valt and asking him if his match with the former is "boring", which causes him to finally remember his insult.
  • Character Development: It's not very straightforward and in fact regresses in character during the season. He starts off as a hearty and hard working blader, but his choice to follow in Valt's style and even copy his Bey holds him back. It also doesn't help that he's a natural protege of the game so he doesn't struggle as much as other bladers. Once he switches to Glory Regnar, he would be on his way to improve himself, but his arrogance and pride still prevent him from becoming an ideal blader. It's only at the end where he finally resonates with Regnar that he understands what Valt was trying to get him to do. Rashad could never resonate with his red Valtryek as even if its still his, he could never have the same connection as Valt does with his, he is copying him after all. Even with Regnar, it's more about how he is strong and not how they (Rashad AND Regnar) are strong and it's only at the end that he realizes this. After that he finally goes back to his more hearty personality and even takes his loss to Bel in stride by repeating Bel's usual phrase that he's "preparing for victory".
  • Dub Name Change: Much like with Bel's nickname: High King —> High Prince.
    • Like with Valt's Bey: Savior Valkyrie —> Salvage Valtryek
    • And then when he gets his own Bey: Greatest Raphael —> Glory Regnar
  • Expy: Of Aiger from Turbo. Both are associated with the color red, and are introduced as the "successor" to Valt. They share the same enthusiasm for blading, imitate Valt early on but eventually find their own style in blading, utilize Balance types with the Xtend+ driver, implement Burst Locks in their first upgrade and even have a moment when they get "corrupted".
  • Hero Antagonist: Downplayed, he's the main rival to Bel and only seeks to challenge himself.
  • Hypocrite: He was once driven to humble Bel when he was arrogant, but shows he can prideful himself. He flat out calls his battle with Phelix "boring", his moniker is the "High King", his bey is known as "Greatest" Raphael, and the way he offers to battle Phelix's Phoenix makes it sound as if he should be honored to battle Rashad.
  • Innocently Insensitive: He doesn't realize how prideful he could be. When he found his battle with Phelix uninteresting, the way he said it was interpreted by his opponent in the wrong way which caused him to develop a hatred. When he offers to give Phelix "the honor of battling", it also comes off as arrogance. He's a good person, he just doesn't have a lot of tact.
  • Light Is Good: Glory Regnar is primarily white and even creates a halo in defensive mode. Rashad himself, while competitive, won't hesitate to help others grow like Bashara.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Initially, he doesn't understand why Phelix is so mad at him and wants revenge against him, since he thinks all he did was win against Phelix in their last encounter. When Bel later says during Phelix and Valt's match that apparently, Rashad insulted Phelix in the past, Rashad doesn't remember doing this. After Phelix defeats Valt and yells at Rashad if he's still boring, Rashad finally remembers how he told Phelix their match was boring after beating him, with a look of shame on his face.
  • New Meat: Averted. He joined BC Sol a while before the start of season 6 and aims to become the next leader under Valt's tutelage.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Implied to have racked up enough wins to be the MVP of the Great Aerial Tour while Bel was off doing his own thing.
  • Red Baron: As if to respond to Bel's Demon King title, he calls himself the High King upon winning the world tour and a major tournament afterwards.
  • Palette Swap: Has the same Salvage Valtryek as Valt, albeit colored red.

     Ilya Mao
Voiced by: Lynn (Japanese); Brittany Cox (English)

  • Action Girl: Even moreso than Shasa and Ichika, as she's the first female Blader in Burst to have a non-generic Beyblade.
  • Animal Motifs: Cats. Her helmet has cat ears, her battle cry is a hiss with her hands posed like paws, and her Bey's avatar is vaguely feline in appearance. Her surname Mao is also a play on the onomatopoeia "meow".
  • Call-Back: She strangely dresses just like Zac Kaneguro. Red highlights on her hair and similarly styled top and jacket just in different colors.
  • Cats Are Snarkers: Her character theme is based on cats and is quite snarky and sassy from time to time.
  • Expy: Of Mariah (Mao Chen) from the original series. Both of them are named Mao and use feline themed Balance-type beys. Mariah and Ilya both share the same status as The Lancer to a rival blader and even act more cat-like during intense moments during battle.
  • Goomba Stomp: Her bey's Magma blade has smash contact points rather than an upper attack. Her signature attack is diving down to her opponent and slamming them against the ground.
  • Playing with Fire: Ifrit's avatar's body is made of magma, and sports a pair of fiery wings.
  • Rollerblade Good: Her boots have roller-skates built into them.
  • Toyless Toyline Character: Magma Ifrit is the first bey in the Burst to have no Takara Tomy product. Magma Ifritor (and all Ifritor beys in general) is exclusive only in the Hasbro toyline and its anime 3D model reflects on this by using slopes as its locking mechanism instead of teeth.

     Phenomeno Payne (Phelix Payne)
Voiced by: Nohubiko Okamoto (Japanese); Brandon McIennis (English)

  • Anti-Villain: Much like Bel and Rashad, he isn't all that bad of a person, he just seems a bit unhinged. As Episode 45 has shown, he probably just wants to be taken seriously and Rashad's comments made him feel like despite being a strong blader, he wasn't good enough.
  • Boring Insult: This is what caused him to snap. Turns out being called boring is actually quite a bit of a Berserk Button for him as it implies he can't be taken seriously as a blader.
  • Forgotten Phlebotinum: Almost everyone oddly forgot about Phoenix's armor gimmick. It's understandable, as it's been accepted that two different bladers can own the same type of bey and not be the same.
  • Freudian Excuse: He seeks revenge against Rashad for defeating him in the past and saying their battle was "boring". Upon learning about this, Valt is in disbelief that Rashad would say that. Bel on the other hand, thinks he's overreacting and if Rashad said it was boring, it probably was.
    • Not helping his case is when he defeated Valt by trapping him inside Phoenix's armor and instead of finishing off Valtryek, he just lets the Bey stop on its own while taunting Rashad about being boring.
    • This makes more sense when we learn more about his backstory as when Rashad made that comment, he snapped. The way his grandfather describes it is that it seemed like time stopped for him, until he saw Rashad's match against Bel, which unfortunately made him unhinged. But upon fighting Bel to a draw, Bel wants to come at him again which suddenly lights a fire inside of him and explains the entire situation. He simply wants to be taken seriously, that despite being a strong contender, Rashad's words made him feel like he wasn't. The fact that Bel takes him seriously is all he needed to enjoy blading again.
  • Power Gives You Wings: He sprouts a fiery pair when launching.
