* CharacterDevelopment: It's not very straightforward and in fact regresses in character during the season. He starts off as a hearty and hard working blader, but his choice to follow in Valt's style and even copy his Bey holds him back. It also doesn't help that he's a natural protege of the game so he doesn't struggle as much as other bladers. Once he switches to Glory Regnar, he would be on his way to improve himself, but his arrogance and pride still prevent him from becoming an ideal blader. It's only at the end where he finally resonates with Regnar that he understands what Valt was trying to get him to do. Rashad could never resonate with his red Valtryek as even if its still his, he could never have the same connection as After that he finally goes back to his more hearty personality and even takes his loss to Bel in stride by repeating Bel's usual phrase that he's "preparing for victory".

Even with Regnar, it's more about how he is strong and not how they (Rashad AND Regnar) are strong and it's only at the end that he realizes this. After that he finally goes back to his more hearty personality and even takes his loss to Bel in stride by repeating Bel's usual phrase that he's "preparing for victory".

* ToylessToylineCharacter: Magma Ifrit is the first bey in the Burst to have no Takara Tomy product. Magma Ifritor is exclusive only in the Hasbro toyline and its anime 3D model reflects on this by using slopes as its locking mechanism instead of teeth.

* BrilliantButLazy: Bel is an incredibly strong blader, an incredible amount of resonance due to the bond between him and Belfyre, a talented designer with not just the Quad system, but his upgrades as well, and he has absolute confidence in himself. If only he trained more to perfect his abilities instead of trying to play pranks.

* {{Chuunibyou}}: He calls himself the 'Dark Prince', talks in ThirdPersonPerson, and, as described below, he's just some kid who's way into evil dress up. Though aside from most of his behavior fitting the "evil eye" variety he doesn't go through the trouble of trying to convince others of his 'dark prince' persona because he's already convinced of it himself.

Though aside from most of his behavior fitting the "evil eye" variety he doesn't go through the trouble of trying to convince others of his 'dark prince' persona because he's already convinced of it himself. Strange thing is, this works in his favor as he has complete resonance with Belfyre without the side effects that Shu or Aiger suffered.

* PutOnABus: Surprisingly doesn't take part in the events of ''[=QuadStrike=]'' possibly staying with BC Sol to perfect his skills.

* TagalongKid: She's frequently tags with Basara but doesn't do any battling.

* LightIsGood: Greatest Raphael is primarily white and even creates a halo in defensive mode. Rashad himself, while competitive, won't hesitate to help others grow like Bashara.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Initially, he doesn't understand why Phelix is so mad at him and wants revenge against him, since he thinks all he did was win against Phelix in their last encounter. When Bel later says during Phelix and Valt's match that apparently, Rashad insulted Phelix in the past, [[ButForMeItWasATuesday Rashad doesn't remember doing this]]. After Phelix defeats Valt and yells at Rashad if he's still boring, Rashad finally remembers how [[BoringInsult he told Phelix their match was boring after beating him]], with a look of shame on his face.
