  • Hetalia: Axis Powers fanfic Gankona, Unnachgiebig, Unità: Italy's "Ve", although he doesn't say it as much as he does in canon. Romano also occasionally says "Chigi".
  • Calvin & Hobbes: The Series:
  • In Chrysalis Visits The Hague, there's Edith's "Ive seen worse.". Though, given her job (pathologist) and her nationality (Bosnian), that's not too hard to believe.
  • A Crown of Stars: Shinji has several ones:
    • "Oh Gods Oh Gods Oh Gods Oh Gods Oh Gods Oh Gods" when he is freaking out;
    • "Oh Gods, please don't let me fuck this up!" when he is worried about ruining his fragile chances to win Asuka over;
    • "Don't say 'I'm sorry', or she'll kill me," when he and Asuka are trying to have a serious, civil talk and he has to remember himself that his constant, automatic excuses are liable to piss her off.

  • Everyday Craziness in Pontypandy: Gabby has "Peaches and cream!", used to express surprise or amazement.
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses: Fifth Path: Claude combines this with Gratuitous Greek with his consistent exclamation of "Di immortales."
  • The Flash Beginnings: Barry calls Caitlin "Luv" mostly to annoy her.
  • In Teen Titans: Together for Tomorrow, Mercy will usually respond to Lex with, "Yes, Mr. Luthor." Kid Flash asks, since Mercy is a Robot Girl, if she's programmed to say anything else during their fight. (She can, but it doesn't come up much.)
  • In The Flash Sentry Chronicles (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls): Before Grand Hoof goes into battle he says the phrase "count up your sins" to his opponent as a warning, since they'll need to explain them when they get to the other side. This also doubles as a Pre Asskicking Oneliner. Since Grand Hoof is often viewed as the leader of the Royal Knights it also leads to a few of them using it themselves from time to time.
  • In Fractured, a Mass Effect/Star Wars/Borderlands'' crossover and its sequel, many characters bust out their canon Catch Phrases.
  • There are several in FREAKIN GENSOKYO:

  • In the Total Drama reimagining, The Legend of Total Drama Island, The Storyteller uses two notable catch phrases as narrative devices/flourishes:
    • The phrase, "but that is another story for another time" foreshadows later (sometimes much later) subplots and plot points. Taken from The Sword of Shannara, wherein the Druid Allanon used this phrase whenever he mentioned anything touching on the origin of the elves.
    • The phrase, "but nothing would be gained by repeating it here" is a narrative flourish for skipping over repetitive content. Taken from the Mardrus & Mathers translation of The Book of the Thousand and One Nights.
  • In Light and Dark The Adventures of Dark Yagami, characters often declare that they will do something, "OR MY NAME ISN'T (full name)". Amusingly subverted when Sayu says ?I WILL HAVE TO FIGHT (Dark) OR MY NAME ISNT SAYU YAGAMI WHICH ITS NOT ANYMORE BECAUSE NOW ITS sA~y?U ANIME AFTER I MARRED MISA IN MASACHEWSETS.?

  • The Setup Wizard: Emily likes mentioning the Hogwarts "internal technology train. Choo choo."
