The Night Unfurls
is a Dark Fantasy War Fic by StaffSergeant. Published in July 27, 2017, it is an unlikely crossover between Bloodborne, a Gothic Horror Action RPG; and Kuroinu: Kedakaki Seijo wa Hakudaku ni Somaru, a Dark Fantasy Hentai series. Don't let the premise fool you, however — this fanfic is by no means a Lemon fic, as little to no smut content is featured in the story.
At one point, the author decided to discontinue it due to being unsatisfied by how the story was going, opting to work on his other work, The Good Hunter. Nonetheless, the fanfic proved to be a Not Quite Dead Fic, for a remake became available, named The Night Unfurls: Re-Imagined, which had steady updates.
The remake (also known as the remastered version) was taken off Fanfiction.net by the author, but it still remains on Fichub archive. The original version was marked as undergoing revision.
On October 2nd, 2022, the original version has updated to its 34th chapter, putting an end to a 3-year hiatus.
