Main Cast
Chikn Nuggit
Chikn Nuggit / "Chikn"
"I just want you to know that you are very good and wonderful. And even if stuff seems really hard right now, it's gonna be ok! I'm love you."
Voiced by: Kyra Kupetsky
A rather innocent long-eared dog.
- Adorable Abomination: Chikn looks like a cute yellow "pubby", but is actually a god, though he's (mostly) unaware of his true nature. While deciding to "change things up" in one short, he briefly transforms into a horrifying blob-like creature.
- Alien Blood: He claims to have barbecue sauce for blood, and given other odd details about his biology, it's not likely an exaggeration. Iscream even crosses him off their list of people to hit up for blood for dark rituals after hearing this.
- Berserk Button: Wronging his friends. He cares about his friendships so much that Chikn will go as far as attacking anyone who insults them even when it's an insult he himself would just shrug off.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Chikn is usually laid back and easygoing, but when Hawt Saus told a cruel joke that made Cheezborger cry, Chikn holds Hawt Saus in a brutal chokehold and demands he apologize immediately.
- Break the Cutie: Chikn starts to see cracks in his reality and it's clear he's getting dangerously close to figuring out some hidden truths about his world and some of his friends. The poor guy looks like he's teetering on the verge of a mental breakdown.
- Character Catchphrase: "Oh mah gah," used when he's surprised, scared, or even annoyed.
- Female Feline, Male Mutt: Chikn is often seen together with Cheezborger, and is the male mutt to her female feline.
- Grave Robbing: This short shows Chikn raiding graveyards so he can steal bones.
- Horrifying the Horror: He, along with nearly half the cast at this point, has had moments like this with Iscream. In his case, he's been seen out-scaring Iscream just by giving them a blank look.
- Informed Attribute: An early bio claimed that Chikn was "too baby to fight anyone". Despite this, he's been shown as willing to get violent when he needs to, such as putting Hawt Saus in a headlock for hurting Cheezborger's feelings, or getting into a physical clash with Chee over buying lunch. A skit even lampshades this, with Chikn saying "das da old me" and that all he wants to do now is fight.
- Lazy Bum: Chikn doesn't enjoy doing anything strenuous, from not wanting to go to school, to hating exercise, to relaxing indoors during summer.
- My Instincts Are Showing: Cheezborger's attempt at a "knock-knock" joke gets him barking frantically at the door.
- Nice Guy: In one video, he tells the viewers that he made them a "bekfast" because he loves them. In another video, he tells the viewers he'd beat up anyone who was mean to them.
- Nightmare Fetishist: To an extent. One short has Chikn respond to Iscream showcasing their demonic nature with a fascinated "Whoa!" while Chee (predictably) responds by screaming bloody murder.
- Older Than They Look: One short states that Chikn is "grown", implying him to be of adult age (in dog years, at least), despite his cute, chibi appearance and high-pitched voice. When Sody Pop asks about this, Chikn has this to say:Chikn: (tearfully) It's a cwippwing medical condition...
- Only Friend: Seemed to be this for Hawt Saus before Iscream started warming up to the latter.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Despite happily spending time with Iscream and his overall laid-back nature, he explicitly calls Bezel evil in one short, suspicious of the being's cryptic nature.
- Open the Iris: Chikn's distinguishing features are his permanently dilated pupils, which are almost as large as his already big, round eyes. One short reveals these are because of contact lenses.
- Platonic Life-Partners: More than any other pair of characters, he and Cheezborger are shown to be extremely close to and supportive of one another, with no particular implication that their relationship is romantic in nature.
- Reality Warper: Has a tendency to completely alter the world on a whim. Examples include making his neck long enough to go into space, making his body grow and shift, transforming into a real-life dog, instantly transporting himself and Cheezborger into deep space, and turning Cheezborger's hat into a hot dog hat. Bezel has noticed enough of these oddities to feel he must keep a close eye on Chikn and guesses Fwench Fwy is doing the same. It turns out all of this is because Chikn is actually a god according to Fwench Fwy, but he isn't aware of it yet.
- Telepathy: In the short celebrating Pride Month 2023, Cofi mentally wonders if she counts as LGBT if she's never dated anyone before. Chikn assures her that she does, despite the fact that she didn't say anything out loud. Presumably, this is another one of Chikn's powers as a god.Cofi: How did you read my thoughts?
Cheezborger
Cheezborger / "Chee"
"Hey, Chikn!"
Voiced by: Vivian Nweze
A very friendly cat that's usually wearing a cheeseburger hat.- Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: She's one of three members of the main cast who wears anything at all, namely her cheeseburger hat.
- Ambiguously Human: A Funny Animals version. While it's not as obvious as with Iscream, the couple of episodes that feature her hat being removed or messed with have some... odd implications regarding what kind of being she is.
- Beware the Nice Ones: As shown in this short, Chee, who always had Cofi to defend her from Iscream's trolling, seems to finally snap and give Iscream a piece of her mind.Iscream: You mortals only got so much time-
Cheezborger: (emotionless) If Cofi can put the fear of God in you, then so can I.
Iscream: *shudders* - Big Fun: Downplayed a bit and not immediately apparent given the art style, but Cheezborger is mentioned in one episode to be fairly chubby. She's also one of the sweetest, most pleasant characters in the series, every bit as lovable as her cast mates.
- Body Horror:
- When Chee takes off her hat, she shows she has prison bars in her forehead with a tiny version of herself trapped inside.
- In one skit, Chee shows she can have paws too... by causing the little point at the end of her leg to grotesquely split apart into tentacles and then reform into a paw.
- Can't Spit It Out: She has a major crush on Cofi, but struggles to pluck up the courage to ask her out. After words of encouragement from Chikn, Slushi, and Iscream of all people, she finally managed to ask her out (via texting from her phone) on a date located inside a flower garden.
- Cool Big Sis: This short reveals she has two little siblings: Katsup and Meowstard.
- Crush Blush: Ever since Cofi gave a compliment on her dress at a party with other cats. Cheezborger is usually seen blushing when it comes to thinking about Cofi. Notably when confessing to Iscream that she is really into Cofi.
- Cute Kitten: While already surrounded by other cute characters. Cheezborger alongside Fwench Fwy has a notably cuter appearance due to having a chubby appearance.
- Family Theme Naming: It turns out Cheezborger has two siblings named Katsup and Meowstard.
- Female Feline, Male Mutt: Cheezborger is often seen together with Chikn, and is the female feline to his male mutt.
- Love Interests: Has a crush on Cofi, who seems to reciprocate those feelings by being a Bully Hunter towards Iscream who usually torments them.
- Nice Girl: Cheezborger has a mellow, good-natured demeanor; more consistently than any other character in the series.
- Only Sane Woman: Compared to the rest of the cast's antics, Cheezborger's rather normal, and tends to get caught up in whatever random antics the others get into.
- Platonic Life-Partners: More than any other pair of characters, she and Chikn Nuggit are shown to be extremely close to and supportive of one another, with no particular implication that their relationship is romantic in nature.
- Reality Warper: Doesn't use this power nearly as much as Chikn does, but still shows it off from time to time.
- Shipper on Deck: She encourages Iscream and Fwench Fwy's relationship, wondering when they'll ever marry. Both respond as immortals they'll need at least ten thousand years before making such a commitment.
Iscream
Iscream
"I love you so much that I wanna SET THE WORLD AFLAME IN THE DEMONIC FIRES OF PASSION, LEAVING NOTHING BUT DESTRUCTION IN ITS WAKE!"
Voiced by: Nate Charpentier
A... thing resembling a bunny who seemingly lives to cause all kinds of chaos and disorder.- Abduction Is Love: They kidnap Krampus, Mari Lwyd, and Yule Cat, and force them all to spend the holidays together. Fwench Fwy is displeased their demon partner is delusional enough to think the three came willingly of their own violation.
- Abhorrent Admirer: To Bezel. Iscream is utterly infatuated with him to the point of wanting an open relationship, but all he has for Iscream is disdain and a bit of the creeps. Heavily implied to be weaponized when Fwench Fwy sees them bothering Bezel and responds with a thumbs-up.Iscream: Daddy Time~!
Bezel: DON'T CALL ME THAT. - Ambiguously Human: A Funny Animal variation. Iscream commonly appears as a rabbit, but has three red vertical slits for pupils and frequently displays a demonic Game Face with a Jagged Mouth and eyes with black sclerae, but it is never made clear if they are an actual demon in disguise, or simply a rabbit who happens to have sinister tendencies. Their character bio even lists their species as "Bunny (???)". This short reveals that Iscream's true form is a pitch-black creature covered with eyes, spikes on their back, and a pair of rabbit-like ears on their head.
- Angelic Abomination: their first appearance had them doing an "angel impression" straight out of the Old Testament.Iscream: BE NOT AFRAID.
Cheezborger: AHHHHH!
Iscream: I SAID BE NOT AFRAID. - Arbitrary Skepticism: Iscream seemingly doesn't believe red pandas are real... yet they're a shapeshifting Eldritch Abomination who just so happens to also be in an on-again-off-again relationship with a Wish Dragon who fell from a star. Considering this is Iscream we're talking about, though, they probably do know that red pandas exist; but play dumb just to get on Sody Pop's nerves.
- Babysitter from Hell: Parodied, and also one of the most literal examples of this trope. They get trusted with taking care of Sody Pop, and Sody gets scared because he thinks there's a monster under the bed. Hearing this, Iscream also gets scared, saying that they put at least 5 under it, and now they're all loose.
- Bad Is Good and Good Is Bad: Iscream tends to operate on this mindset, as they enjoy evil and scary things but fear cute things.
- Black Eyes of Crazy: Iscream's sclerae turn completely black when they adopt their Game Face.
- Black Speech: On a few occasions, such as while explaining their true nature to Chikn and Chee or while showing Slushi a more modern way to contact ghouls.
- Bunnies for Cuteness: Subverted.
- Butt-Monkey: They fall into this at times. Cofi is frequently harassing them, Sody Pop loves using them as an (unaware) sparring partner for impromptu wrestling matches and Fwench Fwy never tires of playing tricks on and pranking them.
- Characterization Marches On: Iscream used to be terrified of Fwench Fwy and Sody Pop. Iscream would later end up dating Fwench Fwy (although they occasionally argue with each other), and while Sody Pop still scares Iscream sometimes, Iscream is more willing to prank Sody Pop than before.
- The Corrupter: Not that Sody Pop needed much encouragement but the demon is gradually getting them into various horror flicks and teaching them bad language. Something that mortifies both the hyperactive panda's mother, and Fwench Fwy.
- In their Origins Episode, it's revealed that they were ordered to encourage Chikn's darker impulses so he would eventually destroy the world, allowing Iscream's fellow demons to take over.
- Cute Is Evil: In a cast full of already cuddly critters, Iscream stands out as the most neotenous-looking character of the bunch. Naturally, they are the resident Satan-worshipping Nightmare Fetishist, on top of being a literal Killer Rabbit.
- Did You Just Romance Cthulhu?:
- Iscream's first reaction upon waking up to find a monster's hand about to grab them from under their bed? Strike a sexy pose, put on some bedroom eyes, and flirt with it. They also find The Krampus himself incredibly attractive, and is shown constantly pestering the demon for his attention to no end, like a fangirl meeting her favorite Boy Band member in person.Iscream: You're so hot Krampus, AAAAAA, PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU!!
- They sometimes flirt with Bezel, an Anthropomorphic Personification of time, who refuses their advances every time.
- Iscream's first reaction upon waking up to find a monster's hand about to grab them from under their bed? Strike a sexy pose, put on some bedroom eyes, and flirt with it. They also find The Krampus himself incredibly attractive, and is shown constantly pestering the demon for his attention to no end, like a fangirl meeting her favorite Boy Band member in person.
- Didn't See That Coming: This short all but confirms that Fwench Fwy's arrival derailed Iscream's mission to get Chikn to destroy the world. It later turns out this was very intentional on Fwench Fwy's part.
- The Dragon: It turns out that they're this to The Overlord.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Billionaires hoarding their wealth at the expense of those who can barely afford to live seems to be a step too far for a demon like them.
- They once made a crossover appearance in The Land of Boggs when they kidnapped Boggo and Boe to have them partake in a Saw-style game. The premise was that Boe had to cut off one of her fingers in order to save Boggo... and much to Iscream's surprise, Boe hacked off her whole arm before they could even finish explaining this premise. This escalated into outright disgust when she started unnecesarilly mutilating herself for Boggo's (already-assured) safety. However, this could just be because of Iscream seeing kindness.Iscream: Bleh! I think I'm gonna be sick!
- Iscream may find monstrous entities attractive, but they are horrified by the thought of actually cheating on Fwench Fwy.
- They were also cowering in fear when they were about to be turned into an enamel pin (though they quickly got over it afterwards).
However, this could just be because of Iscream seeing kindness.
- Evil Sounds Deep: Iscream usually has a high-pitched voice, but will sometimes speak in a much deeper and more menacing multi-layered voice.
- Gibberish of Love: Their response to Fwench Fwy's evil form.
- Grave Robbing: Iscream once tried to rob a coffin, only to find Cofi sleeping in it.
- Hair-Raising Hare: They take on the appearance of a cute bunny, but they frequently slip into nightmare-ish and demonic sequences. They even perform blood rituals.
- Hellish Pupils: Iscream most commonly has three vertical slits for pupils, though they can change this at will.
- Horrifying the Horror: They've been on the receiving end of this from literally everyone else in the main cast short of Bezel, most prominently Sody Pop and Cofi as seen here.
- Living Mood Ring: They have black pupils and white sclera when they're happy, content or embarrassed; they have red pupils and black sclera when they're acting creepy, angry or scared. When they're trying to be romantic, their pupils turn into hearts.
- Mayfly–December Friendship: Iscream is immortal, while all their friends except for Fwench Fwy are not.
- Nightmare Face: Iscream has an evil face where their sclerae turn solid black and their mouth becomes jagged.
- Nightmare Fetishist: Iscream enjoys scary and evil things quite a lot, as most of their hobbies involve summoning demons or terrifying the cast. Also, the moment Fwench Fwy shows off an evil side of their own, they're COMPLETELY flustered and barely able to speak as a result.
- Opposites Attract: Iscream, the demonic bunny, is in a committed relationship with Fwench Fwy, the angelic dragon. It even applies to their names: Iscream is named after a cold food while Fwench Fwy is named after a hot food.
- Organ Dodge: Justified. Since they are able to survive multiple arrows to the chest and stomach, it's clear that their vitals are not where a normal bunny's would be. However, this makes sense since they are undoubtedly NOT a normal bunny.
- Otherworldly and Sexually Ambiguous: An agender Animalistic Abomination.
- Pet the Dog: When Cheezborger confides to Iscream that she has a crush on Cofi, Iscream encourages Chee to act on it, despite Iscream's annoyance with Cofi.
- Pie-Eyed: Their irises are cartoony black, but, befitting their demonic side, their pupils are red.
- Poke the Poodle: Most of Iscream's "evil deeds" are petty and minor things, like putting pineapple on pizza and putting ice cubes in cereal, intentionally not keeping the elevator open for someone, or claiming to a red panda that red pandas aren't real.
- Power Dynamics Kink: They not-so-secretly love being thwarted all the time by the Reality Warper Cofi, and omnipotent Fwench Fwy.
- Really 700 Years Old: Despite their usual appearance being a little cute-looking bunny, they are immortal.
- Salt Solution: A salt circle can keep them at bay, as seen when they have a fight with Fwench Fwy.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Has this relationship with most of the main cast: it started with Fwench Fwy (though that relationship became romantic pretty quickly), then Sody Pop and Cofi (with the former being someone Iscream likes to torment and the latter being someone who likes to torment them).
- The Spook: There's zero explanation as to what Iscream truly is or where they came from, how they can shape-shift, and whether they're a demon or not remains up in the air. Suffice to say, "thing" is pretty fitting when it comes to describing them.
- Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Along with Fwench Fwy, Iscream has appeared very frequently in later episodes, sidelining newer characters such as Cofi. Heck, the first YouTube exclusive short was Iscream's Origins Episode!
- Summoning Ritual: A lot of Iscream's appearances feature them partaking in the "draw a pentagram on the floor" variety, to the point where one must assume it's a hobby of theirs. Case in point...
- Voluntary Shapeshifting: The short that reveals Iscream's true form notes that they can alter their appearance as they wish. They just use their bunny form to fit in with Chikn and co., similar to how Fwench Fwy makes use of Sleep-Mode Size.
- Would Hurt a Child: Dropkicked Sody Pop off a swing set apparently for the hell of it.
Slushi
Slushi
"Cause it makes me happy! Even if it's goofy to some... it's harmless and fun for me! CRINGE CULTURE IS DEAD! Write those fanfics! Cosplay those characters! Getting mad at people for harmless fun? THAT'S the real cringe!"
Voiced by: Carolina Reynoso
A female fox who is also an otaku and isn't afraid to show it off.- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: She's a fox with white-and-teal fur. The cool, near-white color scheme combined with her name and distaste for summer heat suggests an Arctic fox, but the black legs and defined alternate-color tailtip suggest a strangely-colored red fox. Granted, both species do come in a variety of colors and can interbreed. One short also reveals that her black legs are apparently stockings — and another shows her fur turning bright red after being in the sun too long — further muddying things.
- Cool Big Sis: Seems to have assumed this role for Sody Pop. The two of them are often seen together, usually drawing, and she likes to encourage his artistic creativity.
- Everygirl: While the rest of the cast has magical powers and supernatural abilities, Slushi is comparable to a normal person.
- Foxy Vixen: Played with. As a vixen, Slushi is the most feminine and elegant member of the cast, and other characters have been shown admiring and commenting on her pretty looks more than once, best demonstrated during her Establishing Character Moment. In actual personality, however, Slushi is a proud Occidental Otaku who is much dorkier than her appearance lets on, averting the stereotypical personality traits associated with the trope.
- Has a Type: Fittingly enough, she seems to have a thing for the infamous "Tumblr sexyman" archetype, meaning (mainly) Tall, Dark, and Handsome besuited sorts with dubious morals and intensely quirky personalities. She was practically drooling when Bezel (an explicit parody) showed up.
- Horrifying the Horror: She, along with nearly half the cast at this point, has had moments like this with Iscream. In her case, she got them to cower just by showing them what Twitter is like.
- Intergenerational Friendship: Slushi notably interacts the most with the much younger Sody Pop, and the two get along pretty well due to sharing similar childish and geeky interests. Many shorts feature the two partaking in activities such as drawing Original Characters together.
- I Was Quite a Fashion Victim: Slushi isn't proud of how she dressed and acted when she was a kid.
- Most Fan Fic Writers Are Girls: Slushi once wrote a Self-Insert Fic of her dating a character she likes.
- Nice Girl: Is generally a well-meaning person.
- Nightmare Fetishist: To an extent. When she invites Chikn to watch a TV show with her, she expresses excitement and joy over its graphic content while Chikn is quite concerned.Chikn: (quietly horrified) This is... kinda violent...
Slushi: I KNOW, RIGHT?! - Non-Standard Character Design: In contrast to the small, pudgy appearance most characters share, Slushi's design is much more slender with longer, prominent legs, being a head taller than everyone else. This is lampshaded and discussed in one web short; while Cheezborger greatly admires this and wishes to be as "tall and cool" as Slushi, Slushi herself admits she would rather be "little and cute" instead.Slushi: (envisioning herself in chibi form) Peak performance...
- Occidental Otaku: She has great interest in anime, to the point of blowing money on anime merch the first chance she gets. She is also willing to give lengthy thesis statements about her favorite anime when asked, which Chee learned the hard way.
- Perverse Sexual Lust: Slushi admits to Iscream in one episode that she thinks clowns are "kind of hot", which gets a blank, horrified reaction from the demon.
- Pie-Eyed: Her eyes look like something straight out of The Golden Age of Animation, but it's the irises and pupils that are teal-colored.
- Prone to Sunburn: Somehow, despite being a fur-covered fox, she burns up in the summer sun.Slushi: Finally, it's summer time beach time! After a year of being inside...
(cut to a burnt, red Slushi at the beach, with audible sizzling)
Slushi: ...I still don't like this! - Proud to Be a Geek: Slushi is open about her geeky interests and has no issues about them at all.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: When they're in the same short together, it's clear that Milkshek is a very active and intense red oni, especially when it comes to love, and Slushi is the very concerned blue oni.
- Shipper on Deck: When Slushi first saw Iscream and Fwench Fwy interact with each other, her only response was "Romance." She'd later be proven right when Iscream and Fwench Fwy started dating each other.
- Stepford Smiler: There are occasions where Slushi tries to put on a smile but is clearly bothered by something, indicated by things like Wide Eyes and Shrunken Irises and a Twitchy Eye.
Fwench Fwy
Fwench Fwy
"I'm Fwench Fwy the wish dragon! Would you like to make a wish?"
Voiced by: Cristina Valenzuela
A Wish Dragon who was summoned by Chikn's wish upon a star for something cute; a bit on the mischievous side and Iscream's love interest.- Actual Pacifist: They do no harm, but take no garbage.
- Be Careful What You Wish For: They explain to Cheezborger they're a wish dragon, and have no limits genies normally do. Fwench Fwy brings someone back from the dead, but as a zombie, not properly resurrected, to drive home the fact that Chee mustn't underestimate the power of wishes on the divine dragon.
- Being Evil Sucks: The demonic Iscream is intrigued if the dragon genie would ever go proper Jerkass Genie evil. Fwench Fwy explains they're more than capable of doing so, but due to wanting adoration instead, has no motivation.
- Big Good: Fwench Fwy cares a lot about mortals. Vowing to protect them from other entities and wanting to befriend them at every opportunity.
- The Corrupter: Inverted with regards to Iscream, as Fwench Fwy reveals part of their mission was to make Iscream grow fond of the others to the point they didn't want to keep going with their own mission.
- Delightful Dragon: They're a sweet-hearted and cuddly celestial dragon.
- Dragons Are Divine: They argue their horns like them, are holy, and does not appreciate Iscream likening them to Baphomet's own appearance.
- Fat and Proud: Implied and downplayed in one summer-themed short. Hawt Saus makes a rude remark that Fwench Fwy is "too big" to pull off a one-piece swimsuit, to which Fwench simply brags that they're proud of their thighs and silences him with a life ring. Another short would have them proudly Shaking the Rump while proclaiming their own "thiccness", so they're clearly comfortable with their body type even if they're not so much overweight as they are simply bottom-heavy. They do possess a round belly that jiggles occasionally.
- Gold and White Are Divine: Has pale gold and white fur, and even appears surrounded by golden light in their first appearance.
- Guardian Angel: They think of themselves as this to the other mortal main characters. During them and Iscream’s first on-screen appearance with Bezel, Fwench Fwy apparently knows him. Assuming he’s here to mess with the other mortals, Fwench Fwy vows to protect the mortals from him.
- Horrifying the Horror: During their "first" meeting with Iscream, they bring the usually unflappable Iscream to their knees with just a glare.
- Jerkass to One: Their interactions with everyone, Hawt Saus included, are positive at most. Bezel is the only one Fwench Fwy has beef with.
- Laughing Mad: There's a reason why the the demon Iscream admires but also fears them. Fwench Fwy wants to make people happy, and wants to be loved. Blowing off an omnipotent divine dragon's attempts to befriend you, will not end well.
- Literal Genie: In "Bee careful what you wish for", they reveal that they have the ability to grant wishes. During the same episode, they summon a swarm of bees after misinterpreting Hawt Saus' snarky command to "buzz off".
- Magical Gesture: Occasionally activates their magic by clasping their hands together or snapping their claws.
- Mayfly–December Friendship: Fwench Fwy is immortal, while all their friends except for Iscream are not.
- Nervous Wreck: Played straight in their original concept art, but downplayed in the show itself. Fwench Fwy is relatively laid-back, but shows some anxious habits such as apologizing too much or freaking out over the immortal demon Iscream getting injured.
- Nice Guy: Not a guy or a girl, but they are very kind and thoughtful. After they started dating Iscream, they Took a Level in Smartass, but they're still a kind person— er, dragon— at heart.
- Open the Iris: When Slushi introduces Fwench Fwy to a new TV show here, Fwench Fwy inquires about a character who is a literal Mama Bear, described by Slushi. It's implied that Fwench Fwy develops a comfort crush on said character, as their pupils dilate to be oval-shaped like their irisesnote , which begin pulsing.
- Opposites Attract: Fwench Fwy, the angelic dragon, is in a committed relationship with Iscream, the demonic bunny. It even applies to their names: Fwench Fwy is named after a hot food while Iscream is named after a cold food
- Otherworldly and Sexually Ambiguous: They’re an agender celestial dragon.
- Our Genies Are Different: Fwench Fwy is truly omnipotent with no limits, meaning they'll happily grant whatever you want, no matter how many times you ask. Obviously, Be Careful What You Wish For ensues.
- Pie-Eyed: They have cartoony eyes with lavender irises and black pupils.
- Really 700 Years Old: Despite their usual appearance being a small dragon, they are immortal.
- Reckless Pacifist: In "Two Big Doofuses", they claim they "Do no harm, but take no garbage". Ironically, their second appearance features them using their flame breath on Chikn (though Chikn, for his part, seems pretty content with the results), and in another episode they send bees after Hawt Saus because he told them to "buzz off".
- Sanity Slippage: After butting heads with Iscream a few too many times, the usually sweet dragon's demeanor has shifted from peppy and friendly to unpredictable and ominous. Heavily implied in this short.Fwench Fwy: I will now be unapologetically... NUTS.
- Sexier Alter Ego: Played for Laughs; they tease Iscream by taking on an "evil" form that leaves their partner a flustered, blushing mess.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: With Bezel. They're clearly not happy about having to keep his mischief in check.
- Sleep-Mode Size: The short appropriately captioned "Fwench Fwy’s true form!" reveals that Fwench Fwy takes on the smaller, cuter form they are usually seen in to fit in with Chikn and Co. Their true form is significantly larger (large enough that Chikn is shown as merely a black dot in comparison) and more draconic. Chikn still finds it cute.
- Took a Level in Smartass: They became a lot snarkier after they and Iscream started dating. Especially noticeable whenever they're onscreen with Bezel.
- Weird Moon: The moon on their tail being crescent-shaped, and therefore unrealistic, was intentional on their part, because the wish dragon wanted to look cute.
Sody Pop
Sody Pop
"My name is Sody Pop and I'm here to DESTWOY YOU!"
Voiced by: Dawn M. Bennett
A hyperactive, young red panda.- The Baby of the Bunch: He's the youngest named character of the main cast at 8 years old (and also the only one with a known age), according to this short.
- Babysitter Friendship: He's often seen hanging out with and having fun with Slushi, who is eventually revealed to be his babysitter.
- Berserk Button: Whatever you do, do not express to Sody any attraction towards his mother, or he will ask for your phone and use it to call 911 on you. Iscream and Hawt Saus both found this out the hard way.
- Black Bead Eyes: His eyes are like that, owing to his being a child.
- Cheerful Child: He's extremely energetic.
- Cute Bruiser: A tiny, cute red panda who's also the youngest member of the cast... and capable of exploding at random.
- Disappeared Dad: While Sody Pop has a mother as revealed in this short, his father has yet to be seen.
- Does Not Like Spam: One short shows that Sody Pop hates watermelon-flavored lollipops. Another short shows he doesn't like banana candy either.
- Exorcist Head: He rotated his head 180 degrees on at least two occasions, much to Iscream's horror.
- Family Theme Naming: His mother is named Sassparilla; after Sarsaparilla, a type of soda.
- Free-Range Children: Despite Sody being 8 and all the mischief he gets into, his parents are largely absent.
- From the Mouths of Babes: In this short, he attends his first panel with Slushi. He proceeds to ask the people on the panel an... interesting question.
- Horrifying the Horror: Sody Pop tends to scare Iscream, either because he's a kid or the odd things he does sometimes, like shrinking his face.
- Jerkass Ball: In one short, he steals the viewer's credit card just For the Evulz.
- Keet: Sody Pop is a speedy little guy who's always bursting with energy.Chikn: You are very tiny and cute, but you're too dang rowdy!
Sody: I got the zoomies! I SHALL NEVER CEASE!! - Major Injury Underreaction: After an unfortunate incident when Sody's head melts and leaves only his skull after eating takoyaki that's too hot, he and Chee barely seem to notice at all.Cheezborger: You've gotta wait til it cools down! They're scalding on the inside.Sody: (sadly, but without any hint of pain otherwise) I got too exciiiiiteeeed!
- Made of Explodium: Sody Pop has a tendency to randomly explode at the end of certain shorts, be it out of overstimulation, horror or just because it's funny. A trait he shares with his mother, Sassparilla.
- Nightmare Fetishist: Downplayed in one Christmas short; Iscream summons a demon disguised as a present for Sody Pop, only for the boy to gawk over his new 'puppy'.Iscream: Aww, let the kid have fun.
(cut to Sody Pop grinning while the demon shakes him like a dog toy) - The Noseless: Sody Pop doesn't have a visible nose. When Chikn pulled the old "got your nose" trick on him, Sody Pop touched his face and freaked out when he realized he doesn't have a nose.
- Precision F-Strike: Parodied. If sufficiently annoyed or unamused (or presented with the possibility that people actually like banana candies), he'll tell/scream at someone to go "fix" themselves.
- Stuff Blowing Up: Sody Pop is rather infamous for randomly causing things to spontaneously combust. Himself included.
- Superpowerful Genetics: Going by this short, he gets his ability to spontaneously cause Stuff Blowing Up from his mother Sassparilla, with the two together able to cause especially big explosions.
- Teleportation: Sody Pop has a tendency to just pop in out of nowhere.
- Wrestler in All of Us: He loves partaking in mock wrestling matches (with the unfortunate Iscream often being his unsuspecting "opponent").
Cofi
Cofi
"I'm just a little freak. A lone wolf. Cringe~!"
Voiced by: Elisabeth Riley
An odd little sheep in wolf's clothing.- Alternate Self: In one short, she goes from a sheep in wolf's clothing, to a wolf in sheep's clothing... literally.
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Her wool is pink.
- Ascended to Carnivorism: Subverted. At one point Cheezborger sees her eat what appears to be a drumstick and assumes that this trope is the case. It's actually cauliflower.
- Ass in a Lion Skin: Sports a signature wolf suit that is convincing enough for Chikn to genuinely mistake her for one. She doesn't seem to have any motives for her disguise, other than for her own entertainment.
- Bully Hunter: She doesn't like it when Iscream bullies Cheezborger with their scary demonic antics.Cofi: You mess with Chee, you mess with ME.
- Clothing Switch: She wears a lot of other costumes resembling the other characters from the show in this short. Chee appears to like it a lot.
- Creepy Loner Girl: While not shy like classic examples, she dons a dark wolf suit and introduces herself as "a lone wolf".
- Furry Reminder: Cofi is not only a vegetarian (just like how real sheep are exclusively herbivores), but she also sometimes bleats like a lamb when surprised or happy.
- Hiding Behind Your Bangs: Has a puff of pink wool covering her right eye, adding to her mysterious demeanor.
- Horrifying the Horror: She has been seen tormenting Iscream periodically ever since her introduction, either by complete accident or in order to stop their evil misdeeds. Even when they find a Commonality Connection in their love of mixing Christmas and Halloween together, Iscream mentally admits that Cofi still scares them a little.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: Subverted. One short has Fwench Fwy approach her in a menacing way and inquiring about her frequent harassment of their partner Iscream. But then they commend her for it, admitting that Iscream kinda deserves to be messed with.
- Literal Metaphor: In one short, she becomes an actual wolf in sheep's clothing, though she appears to be just as friendly as her Alternate Self.
- Not So Stoic: There have been very rare times where she seems to drop her relatively stoic personality, like when Chee almost touched a poisonous plant.
- Oblivious to Love: She seems completely unaware of Cheezborger's painfully obvious crush on her. Eventually Cofi confesses to Chee that she also had a secret crush on Chee after giving her a yellow flower inside a flower garden.
- An Odd Place to Sleep: In this short, Cofi sleeps in a buried coffin.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Gets legitimately SCARED when Chee almost touches Wolfsbane, which is poisonous.
- Reality Warper: She seems to have a lowscale version that takes Offscreen Teleportation to the extreme, able to pop up anywhere necessary to maximize her annoying status to Iscream. This includes intercepting a "Bloody Mary" summons, replacing the ghost in a The Ring-based cursed film, and showing up in a new location on a plane (neighbor seat, flight video, as an attendant, and on the outside wing) every time Iscream looks somewhere else.
- Ship Tease: Is hinted to reciprocate Cheezborger's feelings, such as when she gives Cheezborger the exciting slice on a cake. Eventually confirmed when she and Chee go on a date and she gives Chee a yellow flower that she specifically says reminds her of the dress the latter wore when they first met, before the two of them kiss.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: In later shorts seems to have taken Fwench Fwy and Sody Pop's place as Iscream's main opponent.
- Sweet Sheep: While Cofi's behavior comes across as slightly creepy alongside speaking in a monotone and quiet manner. She's actually really sweet once you get to know her, which is very evident in Cheezborger's case where she develops a deep crush on Cofi.
- Visual Pun: An inversion of the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing metaphor, being a literal sheep wearing a wolf costume. This is, once again, played up, this time with her being an actual wolf in sheep's clothing.
- Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: Inverted. Fitting in perfectly with her appearance. She presents herself as creepy and scary, among other things, but turns out to be a perfectly friendly and well-meaning sheep.
Bezel
Bezel
"Who said anything about disaster? I'm just here to have some FUN..."
Voiced by: Kellen Goff
A mysterious being with a clock for a head who claims to be the embodiment of time.- Ambiguously Evil: Given how he messes with the lives of mortals for his own amusement, Bezel seems like a pretty shifty guy. However, his end goal is currently unknown, and when Chikn outright asks him if he's evil, he denies the notion, seeing himself as "chaotic" instead. Chikn isn't convinced, though.
- Actor Allusion: Kellen Goff has voiced a sharp-dressed Time Master before.
- Big Bad: He is the closest the web series has to one.
- Cuteness Proximity: Bezel finds cats so adorable that he eschews committing mischief in favor of just petting them, as seen when he first meets Cheezborger.
- Do Not Call Me "Paul": He does not like being called "daddy time", at least not by Iscream.
- Father Time: Considering he's been referred to as the embodiment of time, then he's technically this.
- Instant Wristwatch: Though fittingly enough, it's not a wristwatch, but rather a mirror so he can look at the time on his own face.
- It Amused Me: The main reason Fwench Fwy doesn't like them at all. Bezel messes with the lives of mortals. Taunting them of their laughably short lifespans, and mocking their impending dooms. Its heavily implied he was a Jerkass God in the past.
- Knight of Cerebus: Downplayed (for now), but the series got a much greater focus on lore after Bezel was introduced.
- Meaningful Name: A bezel is a component used in making watches. Specifically, it's the frame that holds the watch's glass or plastic cover. It fits in with his clock motif.
- Non-Standard Character Design: Unlike everyone else in the series, Bezel isn't an animal, but rather a humanoid being with a clock for a head.Slushi: [squee] Sexymen~!
- Fwench Fwy has lampshaded just how out-of-place he looks on a few occasions.
- Odd Name Out: He's the only character who isn't named after food and isn't purposely misspelled.
- Pet the Dog: While Bezel usually enjoys tormenting mortals, he does have a soft spot for cats, as seen when he pets Cheezborger after seeing her for the first time.
- Purple Is Powerful: He wears a purple suit and is said to be the personification of time itself.
- Sharp-Dressed Man: He wears a purple and cyan suit.
- Shipper on Deck: Implied in this video, in which Bezel makes a collection of the things he likes. This collection consists of Cheezborger and Cofi, who have been subjected to many a Ship Tease with each other (what with the former having a huge crush on the latter and all).Fwench Fwy: Leave them alone.
Bezel: (laughs) You know I won't! - Signature Laugh: One that (fittingly) sounds like a cuckoo clock.
- Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: He's got a comically antagonistic relationship with both of the show's immortals; not just because they're immune to the ravages of time, but also because Fwench Fwy won't let him have his fun with mortals and Iscream is an Abhorrent Admirer.
- Speak of the Devil: Just saying the word "time" will cause Bezel to appear.
- Sprouting Ears: One short reveals that Bezel can do this, and it understandably grosses out most of the rest of the cast, as they are all animals themselves.
- Technologically Blind Elders: Bezel obviously prefers analogue clocks and is mortified most people in modern times use digital displays instead.
- Time Master: Not only is he the embodiment of time, but Fwench Fwy says that he has dominion over all of time. We get an example of this power when Sody and Chikn cause him to rewind time by accident.
Recurring Characters
Hawt Saus
Hawt Saus
"Hahahaha! Based."
Voiced by: Nick Butera
An obnoxious red squirrel.- Admiring the Abomination: Downplayed; Upon Fwench Fwy introducing him to Iscream, Hawt Saus asks an insensitive question that prompts Iscream to break out their Nightmare Face. His response? A short beat, followed by a slightly amused "Oh!".
- Black Eyes of Crazy: Downplayed. He has black eyes with white pupils, but he's not a terrifying psychopath, just a jerky bully.
- Blazing Inferno Hellfire Sauce: Hawt Saus's favorite type of hot sauce, naturally. He even looks down on those who try to counter it with milk.
- The Bully: He certainly has the personality of one, though the other characters are rarely easy victims.
- Bullying a Dragon: Literally, in the episode where he snarkily tells Fwench Fwy to "buzz off". Hawt Saus subsequently gets a Scary Stinging Swarm of bees sicced on him by the wish dragon.
- Commonality Connection: One short shows he and Iscream bonding over heckling a politician.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Hawt Saus hangs with the gang, but they tolerate him rather than treating him amicably, because of his jerkass tendencies. Most of the time, only Chikn is willing to talk to him.
- Hates Being Touched: He flinches back when Chikn Nuggit tries to touch him, disgusted.Hawt Saus: EW! DON'T TOUCH ME!
- Jerkass: He's the only character in the series who seems to be seriously, genuinely mean-spirited; the others aren't having any of it. That being said, he has recently been making small steps to becoming nicer.
- Jerkass Realization: Seems to have this in this short, as he gets uncharacteristically quiet and insecure when Sody Pop tells him point-blank that the gang doesn't like him because of how he acts.
- Karmic Butt-Monkey: Something bad happens to Hawt Saus almost every time he appears, and it's always because of his own callousness.
- Kid Has a Point: One short has Sody Pop ask a... very vulgar question to an in-universe voice actor that leaves everyone in the crowd — including Slushi — completely stunned in horror. Except for Hawt Saus, who's grinning as widely as he possibly can.Hawt Saus: (laughing it up at the question) AHAHA! Based.
- Only Sane Man: Thinks of himself as perfectly normal, whereas the rest of the cast are a bunch of weirdos. He's not wrong, as most of them are cartoon (or celestial) reality warping entities.
- Screwball Squirrel: Downplayed. He's a squirrel, but rather than being a hyperactive trickster, he's a jerk who hurls insults at the other characters.
- Straight Man: His comments are mean but straightforward, which frequently leads into the other characters making a Karmic Butt-Monkey out of him.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: In his debut short he seems like a relatively friendly person, albeit with a crude sense of humor. In later episodes he becomes downright cruel, such as ridiculing Fwench Fwy for their weight when they put on a one-piece swimsuit at the beach.Hawt Saus: (snidely) Ain't you too big to pull that off?
- Took a Level in Kindness: It's a slow process, but after his Jerkass Realization, he's been working towards becoming nicer; giving Chikn a thumbs up when the latter saves him from Yet Another Christmas Carol, attempting small talk with Sody Pop, and genuinely smiling at a compliment Chikn gives him.
- Tsundere: In this short, he claims he wants to try being a little nicer to people, and then angrily recoils at Chikn Nuggit's attempt at friendship.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: According to the show's writers, he's afraid of bees; making Fwench Fwy siccing an angry swarm on him a particularly fitting punishment for him being rude to them.Hawt Saus: Wha– Bees?Fwench Fwy: BEES?! YOU WANT BEES?!Hawt Saus: (eyes widening in horror) Bees?
Sassparilla
Sassparilla
"Hi, sweetie!"
Sody Pop's mother.- Good Parents: She loves her son very much. So much in fact, the episode can't handle it and they both explode.
- Moral Guardians: Sassparilla was horrified by Sody's bloodied butcher costume for Halloween, based on the movie Fwench Fwy and Iscream let him watch.
- My Beloved Smother: Downplayed. Sassparilla's a responsible mother who tries to look out for her son and keep him away from anything she feels would corrupt his innocence.
- Parents as People: She may or may not be a poor judge of character entrusting Iscream to babysit, as the demon is exposing her beloved child to gratuitously violent films and profanity. Fwench Fwy appears to be taking the blame for this.
- Parental Obliviousness: She is completely incapable of recognizing how much of a troublemaker her son really is (as seen here).Sassparilla: My son may be rowdy at times, But I promise! He's as sweet as an angel!
- Ship Tease: Both Iscream and Hawt Saus have hinted at being attracted to her.
- Think of the Children!: She had to avert Sody's gaze away from Chikn and Cofi tugging on a chew toy rope.
Milkshek
Milkshek
"Slushi, I'd like you to meet my new boyfriend!"
Slushi's friend who can't seem to stop dating bad partners. She seems to have struck gold with Old Pea, though.- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Just like Slushi before her, her colors don't seem to match up with any known fox type. Her pink fur color seems to be reminiscent of champagne foxes, but she also has white fur on her feet, ears, and stomach, which would match up with platinum foxes.
- Ascended Extra: Before fall of 2023, she was unnamed and had only two appearances, one of which was a non-speaking cameo. She began showing up more frequently afterwards.
- Early-Bird Cameo: She first appeared briefly in a February 2021 short in which Slushi reminisces about fan conventions. Milkshek's first speaking appearance wasn't until January 2023 and she didn't get an official name until September that same year.
- Hopeless Suitor: She went through two boyfriends before Old Pea.
- Horrible Judge of Character: Her first two boyfriends were awful, and she evidently didn't see any of the warning signs before going steady with them. To Milkshek's credit, she did break up with the first one, but her getting together with the second shows she hasn't learned her lesson. She did eventually break up with that guy too. Her next boyfriend after that ended up being Old Pea, of all people, but he turned out to be a lot nicer.
- In Love with Looks: Inverted. Milkshek may not care much about character, but she Has a Type in people others would find unattractive. As she says herself...Milkshek: He's hideous... abysmal... treacherous... pathetic... he's everything I want. Everyone judges me, but I'll be the first to say it... I love you, horrendous old man.
- Official Couple: With Old Pea.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: When they're in the same short together, it's clear that Milkshek is a very active and intense red oni, especially when it comes to love, and Slushi is the very concerned blue oni.
Old Pea
Old Pea
"Hello. I'm Old Pea. I hope you like me."
Voiced by: Matt Pierce
An odd green creature (stated to be a newt). Currently in a relationship with Milkshek.- Early-Bird Cameo: Briefly appeared via a sticker and figure 5 months prior to his proper reveal.
- Nice Guy: Generally a pleasant person, and a loving boyfriend to Milkshek.
- Vague Age: He looks old and wrinkly per his name, but he looks exactly the same in some pictures that supposedly show him as a kid and as a baby note , implying he's not actually as old as he looks.
Minor Characters
Krampus
Krampus
The Alpine mountain demon who punishes bad people on Christmas by kidnapping them.- Abhorrent Admirer: He can't stand Iscream, who crushes over him and is Too Kinky to Torture by his methods. Iscream can't understand why, even as they misbehave during the festive holiday.
- Badass in Distress: Along with Mari Lwyd and Yule Cat, he's kidnapped by Iscream and forced to spend the holidays as the demon crushes over them all.
- Be Careful What You Say: Merely boasting you’ve been naughty during Christmas is enough to summon him and vanish Santa out of existence. As Sody Pop discovered after chortling he was bad all year.
- Dragged Off to Hell: Presumably anyone he abducts into his wicker basket is eventually taken there, but it's never confirmed.
- Hypocritical Humor: A demon who kidnaps naughty children at Christmastime doesn't find it nearly as amusing when Iscream kidnaps him.
- The Voiceless: Has no speaking lines apart from exasperated demonic growls and roars at Iscream.
Santa Claus
Santa Claus
"HO HO HO- What?! Where am I?"
The jolly old elf who needs no introduction.- Butt-Monkey: His appearances thus far have not been kind to him. In the first, Iscream accidentally summons him instead of "someone else" due to a typo. The second sees Sody Pop peeing in his lap. In the third, Sody's boast about being naughty causes him to vanish, leaving Krampus in his place.
- Little "No": When Sody Pop pees on him, instead of asking what he wants for Christmas.
- Token Human: So far, he's the most human-looking character in a World of Funny Animals (and supernatural creatures).
Baphomet
Baphomet
A goatlike archdemon. Fwench Fwy's resemblance to them is one of Iscream's favorite things about the wish dragon.- Demon Lords and Archdevils: Like Krampus, they are a powerful enough entity for Iscream to want to crush over.
- The Ghost: Outside of Iscream's fantasy in one short, they have yet to make an appearance.
- Gruesome Goat: Has an imposing figure, a pentagram on their forehead, and wears an ominous unholy crown.
- You Remind Me of X: Iscream remarks they and Fwench Fwy look similar to one another. The Wish Dragon vehemently and tearfully rejects that comparison, asserting that their horns are holy features.
Katsup and Meowstard
Katsup and Meowstard
Chee's little siblings.- Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Like their older sister, they have hats based on their Edible Theme Naming.
- Ambiguous Gender: Their genders haven't yet been specified.
- Cute Kitten: Chikn certainly thinks so.
- The Ghost: Aside from the picture Chee shows Chikn, they have yet to make a proper appearance.
Overlord (UNMARKED SPOILERS)
Overlord
"Encourage the chaos. Bring the darkness out of him!"
Voiced by: Kellen Goff
Iscream's master, plotting to take over the world.- All There in the Manual: Their name was revealed in the credits of their debut appearance.
- Eldritch Abomination: They make Iscream's true form look tame. Notably, they resemble a distorted, corrupted version of a biblically accurate angel.
- Evil Sounds Deep: Their voice is really deep— fitting for a Greater-Scope Villain.
- Greater-Scope Villain: They're Iscream's superior and they're enacting a scheme to use Chikn to leave the world "ripe for demonic takeover", so they're most certainly this.
- Knight of Cerebus: There's not a shred of the show's usual humor to be found when they're onscreen, and their goal of the destruction/conquest of Earth is played dead seriously.
- Otherworldly and Sexually Ambiguous: Their gender is unconfirmed, but it can be assumed that they're an agender being like Iscream.
- Red and Black and Evil All Over: Their color scheme consists entirely of various shades of red and black and their goal is world domination.
- Take Over the World: Their end goal is global conquest, though they plan to have Iscream manipulate Chikn into laying waste to the earth first— that way, there won't be much in the way of resistance.
