WMG / Chikn Nuggit

Go To

Hawt Saus is possessed by a demon.
Both him and Iscream have Black Eyes of Crazy, and it's an odd art style choice when other demonic entities don't even have those. Which one is possessing him is up for debate, possibly one of apathy, jerkass, or loneliness. Since Iscream is not infatuated, it must be a very weak, undistinguished entity.

Iscream is a Fallen Angel.
So... Iscream is one of the weirder members of the cast. As stated by Fwench Fwy in one episode, the rabbit appearance that they take on isn't "their real form". The first thing that comes to mind when describing a "real form" is the angelic form they take on during their first appearance, which has made a reappearance a month later. Now, when Iscream and Fwench Fwy first meet up in the show, not only do they both seem to know each other, but Fwench Fwy directly calls Iscream out for "playing with the dark arts", and asks them if they're still doing them. Now remember, Fwench Fwy came to the world of Chikn Nuggit via meteor, and seems to be divine, as opposed to Iscream, who's demonic and already in Chikn's world. Perhaps they fell out of heaven due to their use of the dark arts, and Fwench Fwy is checking up on them. Who knows.

Chikn Nuggit, the web series, is meant to symbolize a human's growing and maturing mind.
So, I've been an avid Chikn Nuggit fan for a while now. Although, the series makes it clear that there is some lore that has yet to be revealed, or at least that there's more to this universe than what's on the surface. As sad as it is, I've personally been up at night thinking about a theory that would make everything fall into place. As easy as it would be to say that Chikn Nuggit is taking place in hell, purgatory, or a dream, that would be far too much of a leap in logic with what we know about the series. The theory I've settled on does have a couple holes to be ironed out itself, but I think I'm pretty close with my guess: Everything that happens in Chikn Nuggit, between the introductions of new characters and their interactions, is symbolic of a human's mental growth, from birth to death. Let me explain: In the beginning, the first few shorts are meant to symbolize a baby just getting born. Heck, the first ever short made is Chikn jumping out of a chicken nugget box while exclaiming "I am born!" In this hypothetical, Chikn would obviously be the newborn baby's empty brain while Cheezborger would be the cognitive process. Quite a few of these shorts follow a similar format where Chikn and Chee are sitting in an empty void and Chee asks or tells Chikn something thought provoking. In the beginning, these shorts and topics are very random, like a child's mind. The third character who exists right from the start is Iscream, who would be the child's inner desires. Normally, as a child, we don't understand complex concepts like morality, and simply do things we want to do. Iscream is meant to show this, being a cute bunny while also harboring demonic tendencies. Iscream, the desires, is also seen frequently toying with Chee, the cognition, a lot. Fwench Fwy would, of course, be the guidance that is naturally gotten from parents, guardians, and of course, religious practices at an early age. If all of this is true, it would make quite a few things make a lot of sense. For example, the sudden switch from rivals to lovers between the desires and the guidance. Leading up to it, we see things like the desire calling the guidance mean names and the guidance foiling the desire's bad actions. For most people, as time goes on, they learn to balance between what they want and what they know is right. Then, continuing on, Sody would represent a child's rambunctious and spontaneous tendencies (along with being a child himself) and Slushi would be the unfortunate weeb phase that many of the world's teens unfortunately go through. We also know that Slushi's design and personality was changed to specifically relate to younger audiences. Cofi, then, represents everything about adulthood. Specifically, the toned down personality and actively protecting their decision making skills from their desires. A sheep in wolf's clothing works for this, as adulthood is undeniably scary for someone turning into an adult. Finally, Bezel represents the looming dread of time ticking away from us as we get older, and as we get older, we realize that for every day we live, our life gets shorter and shorter. As stated earlier, this theory isn't perfect. A couple contradictions include the fact that Slushi, the supposed "teen phase" character, was introduced before Sody and Fwench Fwy. Not to mention, any new character that gets introduced will likely make this theory crumble to pieces. Then again, this theory does have some merit as of now.
Iscream is secretly trying to be The Matchmaker for Chee and Cofi.
Think about it. A lot of the incidents where Iscream tried to scare Cheezborger was after Cofi was added to the cast, and Iscream would likely have had good reason to believe there was a connection to be had. So what do they do next? They make scenarios to inch the two closer together. Examples include attempting to scare Chee at times where they know Cofi will see and intervene, and caving suspiciously easily when given a talking to about it. Also, we have this moment, where Chee confides in Iscream about her feelings about Cofi. The fact that they don't say no to Chee's question of whether Cofi might be into her or not, and even seems supportive about the idea, is weirdly out of character if Iscream doesn't have an ulterior motive for doing so. In fact, Iscream would have every reason to say no if they were operating according to their own desires. They like pranking Chee, for one, and deterring a potential love interest away from Cofi would be a good revenge for her getting on their nerves. Although, it isn't clear why they could possibly be doing this. Maybe they think getting Cofi a sweetheart would distract her from messing with them?

Cheezborger and Cofi will have a Relationship Upgrade.
Because aww!

Chikn Nuggit is the Reincarnation of Osaka
They have similar personalities and both have once said "OH MY GAH!"
