Orchid, Supporter Operator of Rhodes Island, will provide support for the squad with her Originium Arts.
Rarity: ★★★
ID: No. 278
Subclass: Decel Binder
Tags: Slow
Skills: Swift Strike α
Talents: Casting Speed Up
Affiliation: Reserve Op Team A6 - Rhodes Island
Race: Liberi
Birthday: January 15
Height: 164cm

"Captain of Reserve Op Team A6, Orchid, reporting in. Are you Doctor? Nice to meet you."

Formerly the editor of a Columbian fashion magazine who became the captain of Rhodes' Reserve Team A6 following her infection, Orchid regularly suffers from the antics of her eccentric squad.

  • Animal Motifs: While it isn't obvious, her race being Liberi means that she represents birds.
  • Beleaguered Boss: Let's just say her A6 squad, with the exception of Spot, is a bunch of hyperactive loons and leave it at that. Orchid, being the most "normal" member of the team, is constantly troubled by the more colorful squaddies that she's technically in charge of and has to babysit, leading her to become their unofficial Team Mom than an actual captain.
  • Boring, but Practical: She's a must-have in Integrated Strategies mode despite offering no extra utility like Podenco, as she can be recruited for free, and just 1 Decel Binder operator is likely not enough to save you from the Unending Sarkaz Lancer charges. Plus, the extra slow is always welcome when tackling the Metal Slimes in that mode.
  • Com Mon: Almost always appear when selecting the Supporter and/or Slow tag in Recruitment.
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: In "Stories of Afternoon", it is said after being infected, Orchid's prospects take a sudden turn to a direction she has no idea how to proceed from. She flounders between choosing HR desk job or active combat station in an attempt to do something with her life. Her scenario in that event doesn't really answer this driving question.
  • Downer Ending: Her focus storylines tend to end depressingly;
    • In her reel in "Stories of Afternoon", "Asking For Trouble", she struggles with her decision on how to do with her life after being an Infected. Being in the logistic department makes her feel useless, but she's not sure if entering active combat will give her purpose either. The reel ends with her feeling a sense of war dread that only pushed slightly back by her bond with the Reserve Ops A6.
    • In her Operator Record, she and several operators receive a request to make a wedding dress for an Infected woman. Conflicted over the bride's sorrow for letting her groom being tied down to her after only a moment together, Orchid cuts the dress apart. The bride dies on the date of the wedding, the groom laments that they were denied of their happiness even just for a short time, while Orchid drinks her sorrow away for enabling the bride's despair over the small joy that the couple could have.
  • Floral Theme Naming: She is named after a flower.
  • Kicking Ass in All Her Finery: Being a former fashion magazine editor, Orchid always sports expensive designer clothing, even in the heat of battle. Seriously, she looks more like someone who just walked off of the catwalks and blundered onto the battlefield than an actual operator.
  • Only Sane Woman: She shares this role with Spot among Team A6.
  • Parasol of Pain: Orchid attacks by firing energy beams from her umbrella.
  • Perpetual Frowner: Orchid seems to always be scowling. Midnight wants to know why, because reasons.
  • Sexy Slit Dress: Orchid's semi-transparent Showgirl Skirt has a slit that exposes her right leg.

ID: No. 258

Skills: Aromatherapy, Spread Spores
Talents: Gardener
Affiliation: Rhodes Island
Race: Perro
Birthday: March 25
Height: 145 cm

"Doctor, this is Podenco, here to say hi! If you have time, I'd love if you could come by the greenhouse!"

An aspiring florist who left her hometown to pursue her dreams, only to bump into Perfumer and eventually find a place as a gardener in Rhodes Island.

  • All Your Powers Combined: Podenco is a Mechanically Unusual Fighter of her class, boasting both a Slow kit, as well as an S1 that turns her into a ST Medic, which lets her heal allies directly without having to rely on passives or indirect means like Angelina and Sora.
  • Boring, but Practical: In Integrated Strategies, she becomes this. Being neither fully specialized in slowing, silencing, or healing but having a bit of all of that and being of a low rarity (meaning it is very easy to recruit her in Integrated Strategies) is a small boon to have in a mode that demands versatility.
  • Animal Motifs: Dogs, due to her Perro race, specifically Portuguese Podengo.
  • Combat Medic: Podenco's S1 Aromatherapy lets her double as a ST Medic, by tossing healing potions at her allies not unlike Silence.
  • Contrived Coincidence: After Podenco left her village to explore the world and see all its flowers, the very first person she happened to bump into was Perfumer, which was how she was recruited into Rhodes Island.
  • Damage Over Time: Podenco's S2 Spread Spores has her tossing a vial of plant spores at her enemies that explodes in a small radius. Everyone hit by the explosion will be slowed, have their special abilities silenced, and will take Arts damage every second for the entire duration of the skill.
  • Green Thumb: A bit subtle, but Podenco's skills are all related to her wielding the properties of plants and herbs. This is especially manifested in her talent Gardener which gives all Supporters an extra 5% ATK upon her deployment. By the time at her E2 art or when one looks at the icon for her first skill and her role in the lore, it becomes a lot less subtle.
  • Power Nullifier: Podenco can seal enemy skills with her S2.

Pramanix, Karlan Saintess, is willing to send holy blessings to you as a Supporter Operator.
Rarity: ★★★★★
ID: No. 174
Subclass: Hexer
Tags: Debuff
Skills: Echolocation, Natural Deterrent
Talents: Weakening, The Bell Tolls Twice
Affiliation: Karlan Trade Co., Ltd - Kjerag
Race: Feline
Birthday: February 13
Height: 161cm

"Shh, I sneaked out—oh, um, hi, HR Director! I... I'm here to lend my powers to Rhodes Island. Pramanix, Karlan Saintess, at your service. Bless you, my friend."

The Karlan Saintess, supreme leader of the entire religion of Kjerag, and sister of Cliffheart and SilverAsh. How she came to Rhodes Island and became employed there is confidential.

  • An Ice Person: Pramanix's holy bell has the power to summon blizzards on command, and her Module upgrade improves her Talent by giving her attacks a chance to inflict Cold on hit.
  • Animal Motifs: Being a part of the Feline race means that her motifs are centered around cats. To be specific, Pramanix is based on the snow leopard. One of them can also be seen in her Elite 2 artwork.
  • Anti-Gravity Clothing: Her Elite 2 artwork shows her with a floating white shawl, a so-called khata, a Tibetan shawl used in ceremonial practices. Genius would have involved it being orange, as orange khata are reserved for the religious high folk.
  • Artifact of Power: Her Karlan bell, which allows her to use high-power Arts even though she's not infected.
  • Broken Pedestal: Pramanix used to hold her brother SilverAsh in great regards, until he practically forced her to renounce her worldly possessions and become a Karlan Saint to increase the family's (mostly his) political standing.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Or rather, "Leopard-Ears Saintess". Despite being somewhat lazy, she's still effective in combat, and is the supreme leader of her country's religion.
  • Cat Girl: She has the cat ears and tail similar to a snow leopard's.
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff:
    • If Pramanix is promoted to Elite 1, she gains the new Weakening talent, which increases the damage taken by every enemy within her range after they dip below 40% HP.
    • Also applies to her S2 Natural Deterrent, which decreases the DEF and RES of all enemies within range for the duration.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: The wielding of the Karlan divine bell is a ritual so convoluted and specific that a single slip up could cause great harm to the saint holding it. Being showered and encased by your own ice is one thing, being bombarded by the raw magic contained inside the bell is another. As of current, only Pramanix is capable of safely wielding it.
  • Dub Name Change: Her Chinese name translates to "first snow". In Japanese, her name is "Hatsuyuki", which means the same thing as the Chinese translation. The English localization, Pramanix, references it a bit as the word "nix" is the Latin for snow.
  • Face Plant: Rather hilariously and unseemly for a Saint, Pramanix actually enters the battlefield by falling face-first into the solid ground. What makes it even funnier is that Pramanix is a Feline, and cats are known to be able to land on their feet - and one based on a snow leopard at that, who are notorious for making huge jumps and falls and surviving it all.
  • Herd-Hitting Attack: Being a user of Magic Music, Pramanix is capable of this through her skills. Upon reaching Elite 2 however, she gains the talent The Bell Tolls Twice which enables her to hit two targets simultaneously.
  • Magic Music: Pramanix's basic attack is her damaging enemies with the ringing of her holy bell.
  • Odd Name Out: Her older brother's first name is Enciodas, and her younger sister's first name is Encia. Her first name is Anya, completely missing Enci. Later translations would bring her closer in line with her siblings' naming scheme however, spelling her name as Enya.
  • Pals with Jesus: One of her voicelines says that she's friends with the Goddess of Mount Karlan because they "have to meet up for work a lot." Break the Ice goes into further detail, revealing that an aspect of said Goddess has been acting as her head maid, Kjarr, who affectionately refers to Pramanix as her friend (as well as her 'child', envoy, and 'sister') while talking to herself in the final chapter. Pramanix's voiceline chronologically takes place after she realized Kjarr was an aspect of the goddess, so she was probably intentionally literal.
  • Playful Cat Smile: On the rare occasion Pramanix does smile, it takes this form.
  • Puppet King: In reality, most Saintesses end up merely being puppets for the Vine-Bear Court, and Pramanix is no exception, until she finally finds the resolve to step up and actually lead Kjerag. In addition, this was SilverAsh's original intention for her as well after he seizes control of Kjerag.
  • Red Baron: She has multiple titles – "Karlan Saintess", "Enlightened One", and "Praised One".
  • Shout-Out: Her real name is a reference to the fairy tale 'Anya and the Snow Leopard'.
  • The Slacker: She's always like this as noted in her profile if she hadn't become a saint. So, even with her job as Karlan Saint she still tries to find time to slack off.
  • The Spartan Way: Her profile describes the process in which Karlan decides who becomes the Saintess, which involves making your way up a treacherous mountain trail while having to nod your head every three steps and ring a bell every five steps. Many applicants either give up or pass out, with success requiring a mix of determination and divine intervention.
  • Starter Mon: She's one of the four free 5-star operators that the player could pick after creating a new account around the game's launch as a gift for the game reaching 1 million pre-registration. The other options were Silence, Liskarm, and Projekt Red.
  • Status Effects: Pramanix is as a Debuff operator, so her skills and talents revolve around hampering enemies in some way, shape, or form, and often hits multiple targets.
    • Echolocation allows her to simultaneously attack 2 targets, but it also decreases the ASPD of all enemies in range by 30 at level 1.
    • While Natural Deterrent is in effect, all enemies within range of Pramanix will have their DEF lowered by 35% and their RES by 20% at level 1.
    • Her first talent Weakening makes enemies within range of her take 115% more damage (130% at Elite 2) when their HP falls below 40%.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The girly to Cliffheart's tomboy.
  • Tsundere: In one of her voiced lines, Pramanix seems to be in denial of the fact that her sister Cliffheart is well-liked by Rhodes Island, implying that she's kind of jealous of the attention her sister receives. Her passive-aggressive tone as she says this further hints at it being the case.
"Meh, that Ensia... you people at Rhodes Island are all pretty fond of her, right? So it's not like she received any special treatment. And now... well, I think I get it now. It's fine like this. I'll just keep watching over her. It's fine."
  • Universally Beloved Leader: As the Saintess, Pramanix is pretty much universally loved and respected by everybody in Kjerag. When SilverAsh suggests the Clans cede their power to Pramanix, the other Clan leaders have no objections or have no choice but to agree, as saying otherwise would mean defying the Saintess.

Legal advisor Proviso, open for consultation on all business matters.
Rarity: ★★★★★
ID: No. 4032
Subclass: Decel Binder
Tags: Debuff, Slow
Skills: Dispute Litigation, Prevailing Argument
Talents: Kazimierz Legal Expertise
Affiliation: Kazimierz
Race: Kuranta
Birthday: October 10
Height: 165cm

"Hello, my name is Deszcz. I'm your new legal consultant. If you need to call me by a codename, then use Proviso. Let me get this out of the way first, though. The general practice of obfuscating all your employees' identities isn't going to fly with me."

  • Amoral Attorney: Played straight and then subverted in "An Obscure Wanderer" side story "Only the Stars". Proviso originally came to settle a dispute between a village and the company purchasing their land, and was successful in securing the lower compensation offered by the company. However, after she realized that letting the company purchase the land would destroy their signature beer, decided to drop a hint to the rival lawyer and gave the contract to Toland's bounty hunters in an attempt to help the villagers.
  • Busman's Vocabulary: If her in-combat lines are anything to go by, Proviso treats the battlefield like a courtroom.
The court is now in session! (operation start)
I've gathered enough materials on our opponents. They will lose this case. (enemy about to spawn)
Ahem. Allow me to present my argument. (selected)
Anything you say can and will be used against you. I suggest you exercise your right to remain silent. (using skill)
  • *Crack!* "Oh, My Back!": Complains about her back pain in her first trust increase line, which is implied in her idle line to be from sleeping at her desk.
  • Defector from Decadence: She decided to resign from her lucrative position at a prestigious law firm after getting sick of doing the bidding of heartless megacorporations and later joined Rhodes Island.
  • Gameplay and Story Integration: Her Rules Lawyer tendencies are manifested in her base skills Contract Law and Damages for Breach, representing Proviso aggressively pursuing compensation for trading contract breach.
  • Gender-Blender Name: 'Deszcz' is a masculine noun (meaning 'rain'). While some nouns are given as first names in Slavic countries, 'rain' is not one of them.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: On the surface, she appears to be a heartless, amoral corporate attorney. However, a closer examination of her actions shows that she does harbor a desire to pursue true legal justice.
  • Meaningful Name: A proviso is a part of a legal document that states something must be done.
  • Obvious Rule Patch: When she was released, Tequila's base skill was changed to not benefitting from 4-gold orders artificially forced by Proviso's base skill, to prevent players from having 100% efficiency on Tequila's base skill.
  • Only in It for the Money: Implied. She asks about legal fees when picked for squad and operation success, and brags about getting a large compensation from the company she represents in "An Obscure Wanderer" side story "Only the Stars". Her flavor text however also suggests a Crusading Lawyer side if one comes to her with sincerity.
  • Rules Lawyer: Implied in more than a few of her quotes, and her introduction line is nitpicking Rhodes Island's practice of using codenames for operators.
Doctor, I think there are a lot of problems with the medical malpractice liability clauses in Rhodes Island's contracts. In most countries, we as a medical company wouldn't be liable for a lot of the scenarios listed in there–You don't want to fix it? Alright, I'll give it some more thought. (talk after trust increase 2)
  • To Be Lawful or Good: Discusses this in her 200 trust line.
I'm slowly starting to understand that expecting the law be able to judge all disputes fairly isn't just naive, it's intellectually lazy. The law is not perfect, and it will always be riddled with holes that we need to fill with humanity.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: When she first joined the Longrein law firm, she was an idealistic student wishing to uphold the law and justice. However, she quickly learned that her firm prioritized winning above all else, even if they had to resort to shady means to do so, and she quickly learned to just go along with it.
  • Took a Level in Idealism: During the events of "An Obscure Wanderer", after meeting with Młynar and learning about Rhodes Island, she decided to resign from her law firm and join Rhodes Island in order to pursue her original ideals.

"Nice to meet you, Doctor. Call me Quercus. It's the first time we've met, but the intel on your desk about northern Victoria is straight from me... What, even you're going to tell me my reports aren't standard?"

  • Animal Motifs: She's based on a Serval, given her ears and the serval in her E2 artwork.
  • The Bartender: Quercus runs the bar Green Spark in Caladon, Victoria and hired Goldenglow as her bartender.
  • Cool Big Sis: She is this to Goldenglow who is grateful for her for hiring her and helping her.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: She's actually a Special Forces veteran, something she really doesn't like to talk about. After a nasty conflict left her the Sole Survivor of the squad she was commanding, she quit and personally went to apologize to each of their families, several of which haven't forgiven her. The conditions she imposed when joining Rhodes Island were to not be moved out of Victoria and never be asked to kill anyone ever again, because she's that afraid to be forced back into military work. There is even possible Gameplay and Story Integration here, as she is part of an archetype with the lowest ATK out of all archetypes, and her S1 can permanently turn her into a healer instead of an attacker.
  • Druid: Generally portrayed as one, being a specialist of ancient herbal remedies and traditional Arts themed around harmony with the land and Green Thumb abilities.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: In the Global server, the update that brought the Invitation to Wine event silently added Quercus as a Temporary Recruitment in Phantom and Crimson Solitaire, allowing players to try her out at full power in that mode.
  • Hartman Hips: It may be hard to see, but her waist is rather thin while her lower body is very wide.
  • Photographic Memory: It's noted that she can instantly remember pretty much anybody she meets, especially her friends.
  • Support Party Member: She can grant SP to anyone she heals in her second skill, and since those with their skill active are on SP lockout, this is going to be the most effective on allies. Gavial the Invincible is one of the examples of her having good synergy, since after the latter's third skill ends, she applies a damage over time effect on herself for 20 seconds after the skill ends. This lets Quercus recharge Gavial’s SP for the entire duration to let her cycle that skill extremely fast. Another good example is with Fiammetta, since Fiammetta's talent constantly burns her own HP. This lets Quercus’ second skill fast charge her to spam her own second skill repeatedly.

Tags: Defense, Support
Skills: Siracusan-style Makeup, Full Auto Modeler
Talents: Modeler Debugging
Affiliation: Columbia
Race: Anaty
Birthday: May 10
Height: 155cm

"Hello, I'm Roberta! We meet again! Once I sign here, I'll be your personal stylist, right? Huh... 'You'll be an operator?' Doesn't matter as long as I get to stay!"

Before joining Rhodes Island, Roberta was a Siracusan-born beautician working as a makeup artist in Wrankwood, Columbia. She once met the Doctor when both of them were getting some fresh air during a dinner party, and this led her to Rhodes Island in search of the Doctor who captured her imagination.

  • Animal Motifs: Sea otters. Several of them can be seen in her Elite 2 artwork.
  • Chatty Hairdresser: Roberta is a beautician first and an operator second, and her voice lines tend to run noticeably longer than average.
  • Creativity Leash: Despite being a high profile makeup artist in Wrankwood, Roberta soon grew disillusioned with her work since studios just wanted her to keep chasing trends and she had no opportunity to exercise her own creativity. This is the main reason why she left that lifestyle and joined Rhodes Island for a change of pace.
  • Cute, but Cacophonic: Her battle lines are notably loud, and they're also various makeup products.
    "SURFACE ELECTRODE TRACKING AUTO-FILL CONCEALER!"
"INFUSED ORIGINIUM SLUG ACID STYLING SPRAY!"
"FACIAL BONE FULL STRUCTURED SELF-IMAGE SHADING HIGHLIGHTER!"
"WET/DRY AMBIENT COLOR ADAPTED LIPSTICK AND BLUSHER!"
  • Defector from Decadence: She left a very lucrative, high paying position in Wrankwood due to her disgust at how corrupt and shallow the movie industry there is.
  • Deflector Shields: Her Modelers provide melee operators in front of them a shield, and a 25% DEF boost.
  • The Engineer: In addition to being a master makeup artist, Roberta is also a highly skilled engineer, with her inventing the highly sophisticated Auto-Modelers that can quickly and automatically apply makeup to a person's face. Even Closure is highly impressed with Roberta's skills.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Already implied by the use of her use of Modelers, she also takes this to another level with her RIIC skills:
    • Engineering makes it such that she gets a 70% byproduct rate when she's processing building materials in the Workshop.
    • Standardization β increases Factory productivity by 25%.
  • It's All My Fault: In her Operator Record, she blames herself for not doing more to convince a deceased friend to take on better paying, conventional films rather than follow her passion working on niche budget films, since her death was caused by exposure to cheap toxic paint.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: She is the first Supporter (and by extension, the first operator of a predominantly ranged operator class) who is a ground unit as opposed to ranged.
  • Meet Cute: The only way she even learned of Rhodes Island's existence was due to a platonic version of this happening, when she met the Doctor by complete chance when they both hid in the same stairwell to escape a dinner party.
  • The Movie Buff: She originally got into film makeup and special effects due to being an avid fan of horror films.
  • Shout-Out: In one of her voice lines, she mentions the names Lauder and Bobbi. It's possible this is a reference to Estee Lauder and Bobbi Brown, the former launched a skincare/cosmetics conglomerate and the latter is a professional makeup artist.

"'Photographer, Scene, and Robotic Photography Assistant, Lens. We are pleased to make your acquaintance.' H e l l o ."

A world-renowned photographer who can be best described as slow in every sense of the word. Fortunately, her squad of robotic camera buggies help pick up her slack.

  • Animal Motifs: Sloths.
  • Drone Deployer: Scene operates by laying down camera drones that provide True Sight and reveal cloaked enemies who walk into their sightlines.
  • Little Bit Beastly: One of the few operators who subverts this. She doesn't sport any obvious sloth traits from the outside.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: As a Summon-type operator, Scene doesn't retreat her camera drones like Mayer and Magallan do after they've activated their skills. Instead, she seems to take after Deepcolor, with her summons remaining on the field until destroyed, and her skills facilitating their survival. Scene's S1 cloaks all of her drones and hiding them from ranged attackers, while her S2 provides her with new drones to slap down to replace those destroyed by the enemy, instead of having to be redeployed to replenish her stock.
  • Modest Royalty: It's not immediately obvious that Scene is a daughter of a Sargon noble house. The only sign of that one detail is that Lens always calls Scene "Ojou-sama".
  • Parents as People: Her parents dropped her in Rhodes Island to be treated and never contact her again. While this seems like an example of child neglect, Scene doesn't appear to be bothered. By her own words, not Lens', she says that she trusts her parents like she would her camera buggies (read: a lot). After all, they taught her when her teachers and peers ignored her, facilitated her passion when she showed them her love for photography, and treated her Oripathy in Rhodes Island when she got infected. It's likely that they cut her off from her family is because it's obvious that Scene doesn't like Sargon's court life.
  • Situational Sword: Her summons have the innate trait of decloaking anything within their near vicinity. Of course this makes them very handy in situations with invisible enemies spread around the map, like the fight against the Jetpack Man in Integrated Strategies.
  • Temporary Online Content: Sorta. Scene is the welfare operator of Contingency Contract Blade, and is only obtainable with currency from the Contingency Contract event stages. While the main Contingency Contract maps occur about once every three months, new players can do training grounds missions to save up for her still. Players who want to acquire all of her duplicate tokens will need to run a main CC event however.
  • Trolling Translator: Lens, her camera buggy, originally didn't have a speech function; Closure was the one who installed it. And just like the other robots, Lens becomes a pretty chatty AI drone, talking for Scene to compensate for her master's slow speech. While Lens is definitely a loyal companion, she's not above teasing Scene's conversation partner, like telling the Doctor that they need to pose for half an hour to get their photo taken.
  • The Voiceless: Played with. Scene very rarely ever speaks, with most of her voice lines being delivered by Lens, her robotic sidekick. On the few occasions that she does personally speak, Scene enunciates each word in a very slow, exhausted drone, befitting someone who's based on a sloth, with all of her words being spaced out.
    "C o n g r a t s." (4-star result)
    "W a n t a p h o t o? (Trust tap)"
    "W h e n y o u s e e s o m e t h i n g y o u l i k e, y o u h a v e t o t a k e a p h o t o. (Talk after Promotion 2)
    "T h i s c a m e r a. F o r y o u. T h a n k y o u. D o c t o r. (Talk after Trust increase 3)
  • True Sight: Her camera drones can reveal cloaked enemies.

Shamare, Rhodes Island Operator, is seen as a harbinger of evil spirits by her enemies.
Rarity: ★★★★★
ID: No. 254
Subclass: Hexer
Tags: Debuff
Skills: Malediction, Cursed Doll
Talents: Omen of Defeat
Affiliation: Siracusa
Race: Vulpo
Birthday: October 29
Height: 138cm

"My new name is Shamare... and this is Morte... As for the other things... it'd be best if you don't find out. Like Morte said, it's for everyone's sake..."

An enigmatic young girl whose highly unstable Arts and gloomy disposition have earned her a reputation as a cursed child and a bringer of misfortune.

  • Animal Motifs: Foxes, due to her Vulpo race.
  • Creepy Child: She was widely considered to be this even before joining Rhodes Island. Back in her hometown, Shamare was ostracized by her fellows and neighbors due to claims of her putting curses on people and attracting bad omens, though most of this was actually caused by the high Originium concentration in the soil making her innate Arts go wonky. Still, Shamare does act the part, and doesn't seem to bothered with how people see her, so long as she has Morti to keep her company.
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: Her Omen of Defeat passive makes all enemies below 40% HP in her range take increased damage. Her Curse Doll also applies a harsh DEF and ATK penalty to enemies in its range, making them both take significantly more physical damage and hurt less. Should this skill be mastered all the way, all enemies in the range of her doll will have their ATK and DEF cut in half.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Despite her Creepy Child tendencies, as Stories from the Sky shows she is not at all a bad person and gets along fine with Suzuran, Mousse, and Popukar even if she talks the least among them and is a little distant, even having Morte fetch Suzuran an apple.
  • Deathbringer the Adorable: Shamare's stuffed doll that she used to channel her arts is given the name Morti, which is derived from "Morte" and means "Death" in Italian.
  • Doom Magnet: A weaponized one at that. Shamare's kit revolves around putting curses and hexes on her enemies to make them more vulnerable to attacks from other operators. Outside of combat, it is known that misfortune will befall those who attract her ire.
  • Kubrick Stare: Does one in her base art.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: It is unknown if Shamare's stuffed toy, Morti, is actually magical or not. In combat, it serves as the conduit for Shamare's powerful Arts, and can affect enemies with enough psychological dread to make them take more damage when low on health or cut their ATK and DEF in half when they're in its immediate vicinity. While this can be attributed to its Originium fiber stuffing, even when this was secretly replaced with ordinary cotton, Shamare can still exert enough Arts on it to curse the Rhodes Island staff members responsible for the deed with misfortune. It's also strongly implied by her quotes and Stories from the Sky that Morti has a consciousness of its own, and that it doesn't like it when separated from Shamare.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: Like Magallan, Shamare also summons a "turret" as part of her kit, which in her case is her teddy bear. This works more similar to Silence's drone than summons of dedicated Summon Suppoerters: instead of attacking, it serves as a debuffer to all enemies around it in a 1-tile radius, and runs on timed life. Further uses of her second skill will give her more bears to deploy. Notably, however, Shamare is not of the "Summoner" archetype, but a "Hexer" instead, which puts her in the same group as Pramanix. In fact, they both have the same Weakening talent.
  • Noodle Implements: Her Elite 2 promotion quote has Shamare listing out a bunch of seemingly-unrelated things she's been trying to get.
Shamare: "The checklist is still missing a few items: balls of yarn, used buttons, fresh apples, soil from Laterano, crushed cathode-ray tubes... Doctor, help me."
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: In her Operator Record, Shamare visits a Siracusan town that's being terrorized by a mafioso who has become the town's self proclaimed "judge". She weaponizes the town's hidden hatred and resentment of the judge to put a curse on her, resulting in the judge suffering a crippling injury and getting mentally traumatized.

Supporter Operator Silence stands ready to provide everyone sanctuary.
Rarity: ★★★★★★
ID: No. 1031
Subclass: Abjurer
Tags: Support, Survival, Healing
Skills: Go-Getter, Overlooking Vision, Dreadnought Protocol
Talents: Silent Sentinel, Plumes of Plenty
Affiliation: Rhine Lab - Columbia
Race: Liberi
Birthday: May 18
Height: 154cm

"Doctor, my time aboard Rhodes Island will be inevitably diminished in the future. There is one thing, however, that I can guarantee. My relationship with Rhodes Island will only grow closer...because I trust Rhodes Island, and I trust you."

An alternate version of Silence, now the executive consultant of Rhine Lab's Components Control section and the sponsor of the Trimounts Ethics in Scientific Research Joint Declaration following the events of Lone Trail.

  • Breaking Old Trends: She's the first welfare 6-star Alter as well as the first 6-star Abjurer Supporter.
  • But Now I Must Go: She departs Rhodes Island at the start of "Lonetrail" and is no longer part of the Medical team, but is willing to continue working as a Rhine Lab consultant and receiving Oripathy treatment as a patient.
  • Character Development: After Lone Trail, Silence realized that she was mistaken about Saria - that Saria has always advocated for ethical scientific research despite Parvis' attempt to manipulate her - and chose to leave Ifrit in Saria's care. She also affirms her own conflicted stance about science and progress as a whole, proclaiming that even if it comes at the cost of progress, science needs to be limited and placed firmly in the hands of the common people, rather than only in the hands of visionaries. She resolves to become the gatekeeper that holds science back from atrocities, even if she'll be viewed as a villain for doing so.
"Scientists' fuel should not derive from cravings and ideals, nor should it come from calculations and choices."
"Science is a clear, incisive look at every one of us."
  • Combat Medic: As with the case of Abjurer Supporters in general, but Silence takes it further by having her second talent providing passive healing for sufficiently wounded allies within her attack range even when her skill is inactive.
  • Damage Reduction: Her first talent applies a 10% Sanctuary effect to all allies in her range. Unlike her fellow Abjurers, the damage reduction doesn't have an HP threshold, and will only increase in strength as the target gets more injured, capping out at 24% on a target at 30% HP or less. Using her S2's drone or her S3, Silence can temporarily multiply the Sanctuary effect, up to 3x for the former or 1.8x for the latter.
  • Drone Deployer: Similar to her Medic version, when her second skill is active Silence can deploy a drone that creates a stronger effect of her first talent.
  • Fanservice Pack: Silence's figure was mostly obscured by her coat as a Medic, but this version of her showcases her figure and curves more prominently.
  • Fatal Flaw: Lone Trail elaborates on an notion already present in Records of Rhine Lab, being that Silence's biggest weakness is her tendency to make impulsive decisions in the name of doing what she thinks is morally right.
    • During the Diabolic Crisis, she constantly antagonizes Saria for nearly killing Ifrit and continues to complicate the situation between the three, despite it being her initial reckless attempt to rescue Ifrit from experimentation that caused the situation to spiral out of control to the point where Saria had to intervene to save countless other lives. Her attempts to keep Saria and Ifrit apart end up only causing more problems, especially since she refuses to even hear Saria out due to wholeheartedly believing she's as immoral as Parvis or Kristen, to the point of antagonizing her for trying to save Darya.
    • In Lone Trail, Silence attempts to forcefully torpedo Kristen's revolutionary spaceflight experiment out of paranoia that she'd encourage a new generation of morally absent scientists to follow. Although her motive was certainly justified given how shady Rhine Lab alone was, it would have been ultimately pointless in the grand scheme of things outside of stopping the discovery of a millenium (which, while built on Kristen's apathy, wasn't actively harming anyone at the moment), since it'd be unlikely that Kristen's failure alone would be enough to stop or even slow the ambitions of scientists. On top of that, not only did she smash Parvis' life's work in front of him seemingly just to prove a point, she failed to consider the risk that recklessly smashing his Hub came with a very real possibility of causing the whole facility to explode from the overloaded energy that is now uncontrolled.
    • Following Lone Trail, Silence takes the first step by helping form the Trimounts Ethics in Scientific Research Joint Declaration with the goal of restricting Columbian science. Although it's certainly a step in the right direction, she ends up collaborating with Maylander to set it up in the first place while knowing that they're likely using her, the same Maylander who is closely tied with the Columbian government (who wants unbridled progress) and might ultimately make her attempts All for Nothing.
  • The Glasses Gotta Go: To signify her different role and change of power, this version of Silence doesn't wear her glasses, replacing them with contacts.
  • Image Song: "The Cure".
  • Immortality Field: Her third skill can prevent an allied operator from dropping below 1 HP for up to 10 seconds, although it only works on the first ally in range to take lethal damage during her skill duration.
  • It Only Works Once: To compensate for its Immortality Field effect, her third skill is capped to two uses per operation much like Sussurro's Deep Healing.
  • Temporary Online Content: She is the welfare unit of Lone Trail.
  • You Are in Command Now: Her profile states that she was appointed an executive consultant for Component Control - Rhine Lab's leadership section - after the massive change in personnel following Kirsten's disappearance in Lone Trail.

Skadi the Corrupting Heart, a visitor familiar yet unbeknownst to you.
Rarity: ★★★★★★
ID: No. 1012
Subclass: Bard
Tags: Support, Survival, DPS
Skills: Chant of Returning by Varied Paths, Wish of Burial Beyond the Light, "The Tide Surges, The Tide Recedes"
Talents: Ancient Kin, Predatory Habits
Affiliation: Ægir
Race: Unknown/Aegir-Seaborn hybrid with dominant Seaborn influence
Birthday: March 7
Height: 166cm

"I am waiting for you, Doctor. I've waited for you for too long, far too long, to the point that I have already forgotten why I am waiting for you here... But none of this is important anymore. It's not that important anymore."

A hypothetical version of Skadi where she gave in to her Seaborn blood and became a Seaborn mimicking the form of a human. She is consumed by her mission to assimilate the surface, but parts of her former personality remain intact nonetheless.

  • Affably Evil: So affable that's it's actually hard to remember she's an Eldritch Abomination.
  • Arc Villain: As the vessel for Ishar'mla the Seaborn god, she is the main villainous force in "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor".
  • Bad Future: Her voicelines and profile heavily imply that this Skadi came about as a result of this trope, where everyone except herself and the Doctor are dead. The Integrated Strategies story "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor" explores how this future came to be in horrifying detail.
  • Bizarre Human Biology: In her profile, some medic operators are alarmed that biopsied hematopoietic cells from her body continue to grow and divide in a petri dish without any intervention - indicating that it is a very unusual behavior.note  Given that the Seaborn are capable of fast adaptation to their environment, this shows Skadi the Corrupting Heart's physiology being Seaborn-dominant.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Her voice lines have her constantly reassuring allies and showing a desire to not harm people, but as "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor" shows, the Bad Future where this version of Skadi exists is one where the Seaborn wiped out or assimilated the land races. As "Lonetrail" revealed, Skadi the Corrupting Heart is genuinely believing that assimilation will save the other races.
No more lives should be lost. (assigned as squad leader)
Don't treat me as a calamity. I do not wish death upon anyone. (begin operation)
Don't worry. Everything will be fine. (deployment 2)
  • Cast from Hit Points: The Tide Surges, The Tide Recedes changes Skadi's trait to drain her health by 5% every second for 20 seconds, which will cause her to get knocked out if she does not get healing from other sources.
  • Combat Stilettos: Her Elite 2 art shows her boots being high heeled, and Skadi had no issue moving around and defending herself against the Inquisition while wearing said heels in "Under Tides".
  • Combat Medic: She primarily heals and buffs her allies as a Bard, but The Tide Surges, The Tide Recedes allows her to damage the enemy and is one of the few sources of consistent True damage.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Technically what she is. Sea monster - or as "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor" revealed, sea monster god - to be exact.
  • Did You Just Romance Cthulhu?: Possibly what she's aiming for. She's very interested in getting you to join her at any rate. "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor" confirms that this is the case, as the second ending's extra flavor text shows Ishar'mla pursuing the Doctor due to Skadi's lingering feelings urging Him on.
  • Eldritch Abomination: Most of the time she is a Humanoid Abomination, but as the final boss fight of "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor"'s third ending shows, she can shed her human guise to assume Ishar'mla's true form.
  • Evil Costume Switch: Well, it's an eviller costume switch since she already is kind of evil, but her Sublimation outfit is the appearance she takes on as Ishar'mla, Heart of Corruption in "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor."
  • Fashionable Asymmetry: Her left sleeve has two straps to her right's one, and only her left leg is covered in straps.
  • Flying Broomstick: Rides her staff like one for the duration of Wish of Burial Beyond The Light in her base skin.
  • Gold and White Are Divine: Her Sublimination skin turns out to be this with the reveal that she is the host to Ishar'mla the Seaborn God.
  • Healing Factor: As per her archetype, Skadi regenerates health constantly and also does the same for any allies who are standing within her range. Her third skill exchanges it for a health drain on herself instead. With her second skill specifically, she can heal up to 20% of her own ATK per second — so fast that there's typically no point in deploying extra sources of healing, as by the time they will land, she'll already have healed the target. Coupled with not relying on SP in normal circumstances, a properly equipped 'Skalter' can go indefinitely without any form of external resupply due to her skill having an infinite duration.
  • Humanoid Abomination: This version of Skadi, strictly said, isn't Skadi, but a hypothetical form of her if she would give in to the corruption in her heart as per her Seaborn blood. Notably, where Skadi had orca motifs in her outfit and her E2 art, they are gone now. Instead, she is accompanied by an entity that seems to be part of her body, which explains why it acts as an extension of her range in gameplay. "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor" reveals that said entity is the true form of Ishar'mla, the Seaborn God whose consciousness resides in Skadi the Corrupting Heart.
  • Image Song: “Voices”. Shares the theme with Gladiia.
  • Light Is Not Good: Her Sublimination skin goes for the full Gold and White Are Divine aesthetic, and she has a big case of The Corrupter and Blue-and-Orange Morality.
  • Magic Staff: As opposed to the sword that her original iteration wielded, with said sword being cut in two and stuck into the ground in her Elite 2 art.
  • Mirror Match: Assuming you get lucky with vouchers or have her in your starting squad, you can use Skadi the Corrupting Heart in "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor" stage "Destiny of We Many", which is the stage that pits you against Ishar'mla, Heart of Corruption.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: The third ending of "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor" leaves Skadi an Empty Shell after Mizuki's Heroic Sacrifice to stop Ishar'mla, forcing the now-former Seaborn God to release His control on Skadi. The only things she can remember are how many others had died because of her, and especially how much anguish she caused the Doctor. Having taken a major nosedive into the Despair Event Horizon and unable to face the Doctor, she hides away and can do nothing but sing.
  • Mythical Motifs: Her emphasis on beautiful songs, her aquatic nature, and several dialogue lines involving trying to bring the Doctor into the ocean to join her, all evoke the image of the Sirens.
    • When wearing her skin, she also brings up the image of Nyai Roro Kidul, a sea goddess who prefers the color teal green, can shapeshift, is associated with a sea serpent and takes souls.
  • Navel Window: Her red dress sports one.
  • One-Winged Angel: As Ishar'mla, Heart of Corruption in "Mizuki & Caerula Arbor", she transforms into her true Seaborn form and alternates between that and her humanoid form. Her Seaborn form has less HP, but it resets every time Skadi transforms, and she must be defeated in her humanoid form to defeat her for good.
  • Otherworldly and Sexually Ambiguous: Not Skadi herself, but the sea monster is addressed with the word 祂 in the Chinese version of Skadi's Bloodline of Combat skin description, 祂 being a pronoun reserved for deities. As there's no proper way to translate that in English, it's oddly put as 'He' and 'Him' (as it's also used for the Abrahamic God).
  • Our Sirens Are Different: A humanoid monster born of the sea that sings beautifully. She even tries to convince the Doctor to join her in the sea with some of her dialogue.
Skadi the Corrupting Heart: Come with me, your true form is still waiting for you beneath the waves.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: The costume she wears was originally provided for the purpose of disguising her as a traveling Iberian singer so she could infiltrate Sal Viento in "Under Tides". However, this doesn't work at all as the Inquisitors immediately spot her as an Aegirian.
  • Pet Monstrosity: The Seaborn entity that accompanies Skadi which is actually the true form of Ishar'mla acts like this to Skadi in her Sublimination skin, begging her for head scratches in her idle animation.
  • Power Floats: She floats for the duration of Wish of Burial Beyond The Light in her Sublimination skin.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: As with her original version, but Skadi the Corrupting Heart takes it up a notch by having a visible red glowing trail when her second talent is being buffed by having an Abyssal Hunter in her range.
  • Resist the Beast: Flashes of the original Skadi pop up in her dialog. For example if you fail an operation with her in the squad she'll tell you to run. Not from the enemies, but from her.
  • Rule of Symbolism: The case she carries was revealed in "Under Tides" to be carrying her and Specter's weapons. Her Elite 2 art depicts the Seaborn seemingly coming out of said case, her old sword broken and her hat gone - representing Skadi becoming a Seaborn while leaving behind her old identity and Abyssal Hunter comrades in the process.
  • Signature Sound Effect: The otherworldly songs that accompany her deployment, as well as her skills, are derived from various parts of this BGM.
  • Squishy Wizard: Despite her incredible support capabilities, Skadi the Corrupting Heart herself is very fragile with low HP, DEF and no RES. Her low DP cost helps to mitigate this by letting her be deployed early and thus very low in the enemy attack order.
  • Support Party Member: She is an incredible support in battle.
    • Her first skill, Chant of Returning by Varied Paths, massively boosts her Max HP by up to 170%, increases the potency of her aura healing by up to 80%, and redirects half of all damage taken by allies in her range to herself, letting her be a deceptively powerful tank and healer.
    • Her second skill, Wish of Burial Beyond The Light, grants the Inspiration effect to all allies within her range, permanently buffing their ATK and DEF by up to 60% of Skadi's own ATK and DEF, as well as boosts the potency of her aura healing by up to 20% at max Mastery, greatly boosting the overall power of her allies on an infinite duration to boot.
    • Her third skill, The Tide Surges, The Tide Recedes, stops Skadi's healing aura and causes her to lose 5% of her Max HP every second, but in exchange, she starts dealing up to 70% of her ATK as true damage to all enemies within her range, while also granting Inspiration to all allies within her range by up to 110% of her ATK at max Mastery, granting a much larger attack boost to her allies compared to her second skill, for a shorter duration.
  • Temporary Online Content: She is the limited operator of the 2nd anniversary banner, and can only be pulled from celebration banners onwards at a much lower rate.
  • Weak, but Skilled: As per her archetype, her own stats are low and she can't really attack outside of her third skill, but her skills make her an entirely different beast.
  • We Can Rule Together: Her main goal seems to be staying near you until she can convince you to join her. Her potential token is a quill made out of cartilage and contains what is implied to be Seaborn blood, further adding to the imagery.
  • Yandere: Has shades of this towards the Doctor along with The Corrupter in her dialog.
Skadi the Corrupting Heart: Doctor... Come to me.

"Hiiii! I'm the loveable idol from Monster Siren Records: Sora! Oops, sorry, introducing myself like this at Rhodes Island must be kinda weird. Hmm..."

A popular Lungmen idol singer currently contracted to Penguin Logistics for an unknown reason.

  • Actress Allusion: "Singing on the battlefield... now that's something new!", she says. Not so much for Minori Suzuki, who's already done this in another life as a plucky young idol whose singing can heal a certain intergalactic space infection...
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She admits that she was initially jealous of Exusiai when she first joined Rhodes Island and easily befriended Texas.
  • Forced Sleep: Her first skill, Hymn of Respite, puts enemies to sleep. Oddly though, your other operators will not attack sleeping enemies, even though they would attack stunned enemies just fine. Because of this, this skill is only useful to buy more time for your units to be healed up and/or charge up their skills...unless you have Blemishine, who will attack (and deal bonus damage towards) sleeping enemies.
  • Girly Girl: Her profile describes her as the very definition of the word "girl"; cute, playful, and vivacious.
  • Glamour: Her E2 art and profile entry reveal that she is not Lupo like her original art shows. In fact, Sora has been using illusion Arts to make herself look like a Lupo, and she is (possibly) a Cautus in reality. There's a reason why her race is still officially designated as "Unknown".
  • Idol Singer: She literally is one, to the point where she even does a performance during battle. Her tenure with Penguin Logistics is only temporary.
  • I Owe You My Life: She joined Penguin Logistics due to Texas saving her life in a past incident. However, it's heavily implied that Sora likes being by Texas' side for more than just showing her gratitude.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Whenever she watches Battle Records, Sora says "Levely uppity!" (according to the voice text, anyway), though her actual voice clip is heard like Gratuitous English of "Level up!".
  • Living a Double Life: Sora's situation is complex as she has to balance both of her responsibilities and obligations as an idol and an operator.
  • Loud of War: While Sora cannot directly attack enemies, let alone damage them, she can put them to sleep with her singing or buff her teammates with it.
  • The Medic: Sora's able to continually heal all allies within her range for 10% of her attack. This can be further boosted by her Hymn of Respite skill.
  • Modesty Shorts: During one of several short videos uploaded to the Japanese Arknights Youtube channel at the end of April 2022, Closure got close enough to Sora while she was practicing her dancing to see that she wore black shorts under her skirts.
  • Mysterious Past: Her past is kept confidential by her agency, leaving any information of what she was doing before she joined Penguin Logistics a complete mystery.
  • Older Than They Look: Her height is listed as 155cm which makes her shorter than Bison (who is 163cm), despite this, she is older than him - she identifies Bison as a "little calf" and refers to him as a kid.
  • Online Alias: Her Obsgram username is "Just an Ordinary Girl Passing By".
  • Read the Fine Print: The contract between Sora's management agency and Penguin Logistics (and by extension, Rhodes Island) is long and complex. However, it essentially boils down to PL and RI being solely responsible for Sora's safety during missions and any profits generated by Sora's appearances go straight to the agency. In addition, many of her personal details are kept confidential by the agency.
  • Stone Wall: Well, relatively speaking. Sora has the second-best base Defense out of all ranged-tile operators after Rosmontis, though her HP is too low for her to make much use of it.note
  • Support Party Member: Ironically, Sora is one of the few Supporters that qualifies as this due to her not being able to attack or damage enemies at all. Instead, she supports her fellow operators through healing, attack buffs (if using Hymn of Battle), and a rare sleep debuff (if using Hymn of Respite).
  • V-Sign: In her initial artwork, Sora does the "Japanese way" of a v-sign near her eye.

"Doctor, we've faced so much danger together. Do we still need this paperwork to stand for us being friends? Wait, you mean once I sign, I get to take any of Engineering's beauties apart? That's a promise, you hear? "Stainless"–done."

A Victorian engineer and leader of Eartha's Squad 11, having joined Rhodes Island after the Londinium incident.

  • Cast From Hitpoints: His second skill's devices will consume a small amount of HP each second as a price for their SP generation (with a skill activation accelerating both the drain and SP rate), and his third skill's turrets will consume a small amount of HP each time they fire a shot.
  • Combat Pragmatist: In Chapter 10, despite being blatantly outclassed he manages to get one over on Hoederer by tricking him into cutting open an escape path for Amiya and the rebels and injuring him with a bomb, when Hoederer has shown throughout the chapter that he is perfectly willing to kill Eartha members to keep his cover, implying he was barely holding back if at all. Granted, his arm had been crippled by Ascalon earlier, but it was still an impressive feat on Feist's part.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Stainless first appears in Chapter 10 as a member of Eartha before he was made playable.
  • The Engineer: For Eartha. He's also the one who made Rockrock's drones which are revealed to be made through scraps of used metal due to the organization's limited resources. The fact that he's able to make functioning drones through scraps impressed Closure.
  • Image Song: “Stainless Heart”.
  • Jack of All Trades: Stainless' main strength is just how versatile he can be with his different devices and his ability to stack them. S1 turns him into a permanent ATK buffer that can temporarily jack up his buffs for burst, while S2 turns him into a universal SP battery who can also supercharge SP gain at the cost of duration. His S3 is where the interactions get ridiculous (see Not the Intended Use), letting him do splash damage, slow enemies, give allies more physical defense, generate more SP for them, act as a range extender, and more.
  • Mugging the Monster: His first real interaction with Rhodes Island ends up like this; Eartha attempts to get a leg up on the new variable on the field by taking the Doctor hostage, but it's mostly to assess where Rhodes Island stands in the Victoria conflict. Not only the Doctor already determines that Feist is just bluffing and Amiya would cut him down just in case he does anything funny anyway, Feist later realizes that Siege could have splattered his brain on the pavement before he took the Doctor hostage. That he's still alive at that point is because Rhodes allows him to, and he's now in essence Rhodes' hostage without Rhodes making any particular effort to do so. Feist immediately gives up so he won't anger Rhodes more than he already did.
  • Not the Intended Use: His third skill creates a device that can be attacked by allies but does not lose health. Although it's "main" purpose is acting as his Sentry Gun to deal area damage, it has seen use in various other creative ways, such as:
  • Percussive Maintenance: Invoked with his third skill, in which his devices need to be hit by Friendly Fire in order for them to attack (although he and other Artificers can also attack it to heal it). This can also cause Loophole Abuse, as operators who regenerate SP when hitting enemies (Such as Thorns and Kroos) will regenerate SP all the same when attacking these devices. Furthermore, Damage Over Time also counts, which can charge these devices even faster.
  • Save the Villain: He tries to save the Damazti Cluster disguised as Old Bill when the Eartha hideout is bombed by the Londinium artillery cannon despite knowing he's almost certainly an imposter, implying that a part of him still wants to believe Bill is the real deal. This impresses the Damazti Cluster enough to let go of Feist and Rockrock and pass on the real Bill's final words, despite their objective being to eliminate the rebels.
  • Sentry Gun: His skill 3 changes his devices to these, which can be attacked by allies albeit not taking damage, and will fire slowing AoE blasts every time they're hit a number of times at the cost of a small amount of HP. The sentries also confer physical damage reduction to units behind them, and can be repaired by his attacks or those of other Artificers.
  • Shared Family Quirks: In Chapter 11, Stainless' grandmother tells him that he shares the same rebellious spirit as his own father who also rebelled against the Sarkaz occupation, even though it cost his father his life in the end.
  • Shut Up, Hannibal!: Delivers one to the Damazti Cluster disguised as Old Bill, who tries to taunt him about his lack of trust.
Damazti Cluster: ...So you really don't think I'm the real Bill? Feist, are you really okay with that? I'll have you know, if so, then that means your friend died in vain.
Feist: Anyone else may have the right to say that, but you sure as hell don't!
  • The Turret Master: Stainless' skillset is basically a wholesale reference to The Engineer from Team Fortress 2, letting him bring either a Dispenser that generates SP (somewhat analogous to ammunition for some Operators' skills) or Sentry Turrets based on the equipped skill.
  • Trade Snark: His devices used for his first two skills are labelled the "Stainless™ Multifunctional Platform", which is implied to be something he only came up with after entering Rhodes Island because of the use of his codename for the trademark.
  • Tragic Keepsake: The Metal Crab seen on his hand in his playable debut for Chapter 11 is a keepsake from Old Bill, who died after being captured by the Sarkaz so the Damazti Cluster can proceed to infiltrate into Eartha during Chapter 10 and shapeshift to Bill's form.

"Rhodes Island Operator, Lisa... Ah, I mean, Suzuran! Operator Suzuran! It's the code name I chose for myself. Starting today, I'm officially an operator, so I'll be in your care!"

A Siracusan child with a unique nine-tailed physiology from her father's bloodline, sent to Rhodes for treatment after getting infected as part of a mafia conspiracy involving her mother.

  • Adorable Fluffy Tail: Tails, since she has nine of them. While they lack the raw volume and size of Provence's absolutely gigantic tail, she's still a big fluffball from behind. The large silhouette of her Arts aura that manifests during her third skill's activation has nine fluffy tails of its own too.
  • Adorably Precocious Child: She's a little girl whose maturity far exceeds what is usually expected of a kid her age, with her being able to face down murderous foes, discuss harsh topics, and even deliver ceremonial funeral rites without shying away. To many, this only makes her even more endearing.
  • Animal Motifs: Her ears are those of fennec foxes, but the rest of her fox motif relies on that of the kitsune. Her files note that that is because the kitsune traits are inherited from her father, who hails from the Far East, while the rest is from her mother, who is from Siracusa.
  • Child Prodigy: While she's very young, her Elder heritage grants her powerful Arts and her hardworking nature means that she's already gotten a good handle on them. Operators like Folinic object to such a young girl tagging along on their missions into dangerous situations, but Suzuran always assures them that she can take care of herself and them.
  • Combat Medic: Her third skill Foxfire Haze has her stop attacking and rapidly heal all allies within range while debuffing foes.
  • The Cutie: Due to her young age, innocence, and well-behaved nature, the immediate reaction from basically everyone that meets her is endearment and a desire to protect her. Half of her archive files just consist of Rhodes Island staff fawning over her, much to the HR department's chagrin.
    Miss Suzuran is our light.
  • Declaration of Protection: Pretty much everyone that meets her immediately wants to coddle and protect her, but her archive files make a point of encouraging people not to underestimate her, stating that she deserves to learn about the world herself - and that she'll eventually grow strong enough to not only protect herself, but also all those who would want to protect her.
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: At Elite 2, Suzuran gains a new talent, Binding Circle, which increases the damage taken by slowed enemies in her range by 20% (23% at potential 4). Given that her S3 turns her into a massive slowing beacon with a constant effect, while also up to doubling the damage amplification of her passive, this often means good news for her allies and very bad news for her enemies.
  • Flower Motifs: Her name means "lily of the valley" (lit. "bell orchid"). This is referred to in the name of her banner, "Lisa of The Valley". A potted lily of the valley is also her token.
  • The Heart: Serves as this in the Twilight of Wolumonde event, being the one who tries to keep everyone calm and positive, particularly her partner, the significantly more aggressive Folinic. From the records in her archive files, it's implied that she's this within Rhodes Island as well.
Anonymous Rhodes Island Operator: "Miss Suzuran is what keeps us going."
  • Image Song: "Lily of the Valley".
  • Mafia Princess: Her mother was from a core mafia family in Siracusa. While her father was a priest, he wanted to have her live a more free life than being restricted to the shrine all the time, so she was taken to Siracusa. There, they got into a gang war against the Saluzzo Famiglia, and she got infected via a booby-trapped doll. As the Saluzzo Famiglia is where Lappland comes from, her files further note not to let the two meet, and her family name is deliberately omitted from her operator files to prevent any rivalries from pursuing her into Rhodes Island.
  • Magic Missile Storm: Is capable of doing a small-scale version of this with her second skill Childhood Frolic, which permanently gives her an attack boost and lets her target up to three foes simultaneously.
  • Miko: Having a priest as her father, and showing the nine-tailed attribute of his bloodline, she was originally meant to follow in his footsteps and take up the family business as a priestess. However, her father insisted on letting her have more freedoms in her life and let her mother take her to Siracusa instead. She still retains a certain amount of knowledge and etiquette from her father's teachings, though.
  • Missing Mom: Her mother is a Siracusan mafioso. When Suzuran got infected from a scuffle between mafia families, her mother drops her off in Rhodes Island to be treated before returning to Siracusa to exact revenge on those responsible. Subverted in that her mom and dad do show up again to keep a promise to Suzuran to visit her whenever the pocket watch they give her stops ticking.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: It's not clear whether the special pocket watch Suzuran's parents gifted her actually has magical properties that can summon her parents to her side when it stops ticking, or her parents simply know in advance when it will stop.
  • Mythical Motifs: Fox spirits, also known as nine-tailed foxes. If her distinctly Japanese name and the name of her third skill are any further indication, she could have been based on the kitsune, which Terra: A Journey confirms. A nine-tailed fox accompanied by a torii gate appears in her Elite 2 artwork.
  • Playing with Fire: Her Arts manifest as bright blue, crystalline flames. They're a trait inherited from her father, and by extension their unique bloodline.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: She has a Hei Xu from The Legend Of Luo Xiao Hei sitting on her head in her Spring Praise skin, and carries Luo Xiaohei himself in her basket.
  • Sand Blaster: Suzuran's "Bloom on the Wasteland" skin replaces her attacks' and skills' blue fire effects with sand. Fitting, considering the fennec fox she's partially based on lives in the desert.
  • Shipper on Deck: A more platonic version of it. She encourages the Doctor to spend more time with Amiya, saying that the girl needs their support.
  • Status Buff: Her first talent accelerates the SP generation of all Supporter operators on the field with her, including herself. It's identical to Mostima's first talent, albeit for a different Operator class.

"Pleased to meet you. It simply would not do if I was to forget my introduction, yes? I am Tsukinogi, formerly part of a small 'Catastrophe Patrol' in Higashi. It is an honor to be able to work under you."

A former Higashi shrine maiden who decided to become a Catastrophe Messenger.

  • Animal Gender-Bender: She has antlers, which only the males do.
  • Animal Motifs: Sika deers.
  • Damage Reduction: Tsukinogi's talent allows her to apply this to her allies, provided they're within her range and are low enough on HP. A protected ally will take less physical and Arts damage until they're healed back above this threshold, or are eliminated.
  • Miko: She was one, before her infection and recruitment into the ranks of the Catastrophe Messengers. If her profile is any indication, Tsukinogi didn't enjoy being a shrine maiden all that much.
  • True Sight: Tsukinogi can reveal hidden enemies within her range while her S1 is active.

"Hello everyone, this is your omnipotent streamer, Eure—Errrr, sorry, scratch that. Rhodes Island operator, U-official! Reporting in, Doctor!"

Formerly a TV host seen in various locales, following a series of disastrous events and a failed career as a streamer, Eureka signed on as an Operator for Rhodes Island to make ends meet.

  • Actress Allusion: LilyPichu is also a popular internet streamer just like the character she portrays. Coincidentally, she also voices another popular in-universe streamer, Iono in Pokémon Masters.
  • Animal Motifs: Hamsters, due to her ears and the presence of hamsters in her chibi sprite and operator art.
  • Born Unlucky: To a degree exceeding even Poncirus.
    • Every job U-Official has held prior to the streamer gig in her debut event has ended poorly due to factors outside her control, and depending on how the player does in the livestreaming portions of her levels, most possible outcomes of that streamer gig will also end in disaster. The closest thing to a Golden Ending involves Lowlight himself telling U-Official to give up on streaming and join Rhodes Island as an Operator, since there is no possible way for her to succeed as a streamer.
    • Her bad luck breaks the Fourth Wall. When she was hosting the PV for the 2022 Ambience Synesthesia, the real-world Live performance was forced to convert into a webstream performance when Guangzhou got locked down by the COVID pandemic. Her release to Global Servers saw the EN server take emergency maintenance a few days before 1 April, and on 1 April itself, the KR and JP servers had their own emergency downtime to boot. While she is also the fastest operator to receive merchandising on the Arknights store, the merchandiser CHOEARTH had a pricing error on her merch on launch and blamed her for the mistake.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: She first appeared in the official CN livestreams for Dossoles Holiday, Invitation to Wine, and Ideal City before she was made playable. Global servers experienced this trope again specifically for her playable version, in the same vein as Phantom and W: U-Official appears in La Pluma's Paradox Simulation, which was added alongside Come Catastrophes or Wakes of Vultures, in the middle of March 2024.
  • Gimmick Level: Carrying on the tradition of previous April Fools' Day events, U-Official's debut event uses the Arknights engine for gameplay outside the usual Tower Defense setup. In this case, the first part of each level consists of deploying a variant of U-Official at different points around a map and using her skill to take "photos" of other characters and events; the second part uses those "photos" to manage streamer pressure, viewer engagement, and income during one of U-Official's livestreams, in a manner very similar to NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD (complete with Multiple Endings, most of which end poorly for U-Official).
  • Hikikomori: She doesn't leave her room and would rather be indoors. Her refusal to leave her room actually prevented her from becoming infected with Oripathy.
  • Is This Thing Still On?: During the CN livestream for Dossoles Holiday she forgot to turn off her microphone after finishing her report on the 8th annual Dossoles Warrior Championship, accidentally broadcasting her gossip about the event, its organizers, and their guests from Lungmen over a commercial break. In the event proper, we learn that this blunder cost her her job at the TV station and position as the Championship's host.
  • Joke Character: Possibly the single most useless Operator in the game - she's the only One Star that isn't a crossover character or a robot, and unlike the others has a talent that is outright detrimental. She can theoretically be used in maps where she can be placed away from other operators to periodically stun nearby enemies without using a deployment slot. Maps that allow this without her dying from something breathing on her are rare, even though she has negative taunt. Her base skills are also of low value, since her Clue-hunting skill makes her find duplicates of clues you already have, and her trading post skill makes her reduce the potency of your gold sales.
  • Magikarp Power: Gathering up the correct relics in the Integrated Strategies mode can make her obscenely powerful in that mode for a cheap 1-star character that doesn't cost any hope or deployment slots. Put together a set of stun duration relics and enemies-take-damage-while-stunned relics (none of which care about U-Official's horribly low base stats) and any enemy trying to walk through U-Official's radius is going to be in for a really bad time.
  • The Millstone: She really doesn't want to be out on the field or working for you in the base, and this manifests in both her battle and her base skills being terrible. This trope comes in with her second base skill, which increases the chance of getting clues that are already on the board.
  • Money Dumb: U-Official isn't great at handling her money, and at the start of her event she's lying low to try and avoid a group of Evil Debt Collectors. This is actually why she's giving the streaming thing a try — to try and earn a bit of extra money (and kill time) while Click works to secure her steady employment at Rhodes Island.
  • Not Completely Useless: Funnily enough, while she is basically dead weight in most maps, the unique traits from her rarity and talent can be helpful sometimes. Her miniscule cost and deployment limit ignore from her 1-star rarity makes her useful in Stationary Security Service for deck shuffling, and her talent stuns aerial units which is fairly uncommon, allowing her to knock down hovering enemies who lose their aerial status when stunned. With an active friendlist, her clue-hunting skill can be used to gather copies of your own clues to share with your friends and fill in the gaps in their clue board.
  • Patched Together from the Headlines: Since U-Official's debut event revolves around the trials and tribulations of being a streamer, Hypergryph has taken the opportunity to offer some rather pointed commentary on streamer and V-Tuber culture. In particular, several of the issues U-Official faces in the event's various Multiple Endings map fairly closely to controversies from the real-world V-Tuber community.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: She has a rather large grudge against Tequila, most likely because she blames him for her being fired from her job at Dossoles. She makes several backhanded insults towards him during her stream, is visibly agitated when his name is brought up, and doesn't take it well when she learns he's a fellow Rhodes Island operator, though she also can't help but admit to finding him attractive. Most amusingly, it appears her issue with him is entirely one-sided, as Tequila doesn't seem to have a problem with her in return.
Tequila, upon passing by coincidentally: Eureka?
Streamer U, babbling incoherently: You've got the wrong person, you big fat liar!
  • Support Party Member: A cruel twist on this. U-Official lacks any offensive attacks, so her main role in gameplay is to continuously heal all allies within her range...but her own max ATK is so measly it means that you'll get a tiny 12 HP as healing per second. She will also stun everything in her range every once in a while, but as she belongs to a class where you'll want to have everyone funneled within their range, this is a nuisance to say the least. Nevermind the stun duration being elongated upon her gaining potentials.

Sarkaz Cyclope Valarqvin, out from frozen caverns.
Rarity: ★★★★★
ID: No. 4102
Subclass: Ritualist
Tags: Elemental
Skills: Before All I See Collapses, After All I See Has Withered
Talents: The One Who Reveals, The Reclusive One
Affiliation: Sami
Race: Sarkaz (Cyclops)
Birthday: No exact date
Height: 188 cm

"You look the same as I saw you before... Sorry, please pay me no mind. I am a Cyclops from the caverns of the Sami mountains. With the impending darkness in my sight, I seek your cooperation. Please, call me Valarqvin."

An elusive Cyclops Sarkaz from Sami with the alleged ability to peer into the future. She ventured out of the seclusion normally shared by Cyclopes in order to seek assistance for the impending threat looming over Sami.

  • Dark Is Not Evil: She is primarily dressed in black and wields dark necrosis magic in battle, but she is not evil at all and is willing to cooperate with Rhodes Island to combat the threat in Sami.
  • Gameplay and Story Integration: Valarqvin's base skill reflects her complicated relationship with Typhon. Garrisoning them together in the Reception Room will boost Valarqvin's clue search speed, but also tires her out faster.
  • Lady of Black Magic: Valarqvin is a tall, elegant, and reserved woman who wields dark magic.
  • Mythical Motifs: Cyclops, as per her Sarkaz subrace. She has an ornament that resembles an eye on her forehead, referencing the cyclops in Greek mythology having a single eye on their forehead.
  • Parental Substitute: Acts as one to Typhon after rescuing her from near death, even teaching her Originium Arts and letting Typhon into the knowledge of her prophecies. Valarqvin knows she isn't very good at it however, and their relationship is noted to be not as close as one would expect between adopted children and their parents.
  • Seers: The Cyclops Sarkaz is said to have the ability to see the future independent of any Originium Arts. Valarqvin's profile speculates the ability is essentially a deduction using the Sarkaz race's collective memory and thus why their prophecies tend to be of miserable ends, due to the Sarkaz's collective hatred towards the other races.
  • Shrouded in Myth: Due to their hermit lifestyle in Sami, the Cyclops Sarkaz tend to be treated as myths and legends. Valarqvin's appearance abroad Rhodes Island actually shocked some Sarkaz operators that knew about the Cyclops' existence.
  • Situational Sword: As the welfare operator of Expeditioner's Joklumarkar, her Revelator talent makes her attacks inflict Necrosis damage when she is deployed on that mode's stages.
  • Status Effects: Valarqvin introduces the previously enemy-exclusive Elemental Damage mechanic into the player's hands with Necrosis damage, building up every time she attacks enemies with her skills active until it reaches its limit and pops, cutting the enemy's ATK by a percentage and inflicting Damage Over Time.
  • Statuesque Stunner: She overtakes Hoshiguma's place as the tallest female operator in the game, standing at 188 cm.
  • These Are Things Man Was Not Meant to Know: By her own admission, Valarqvin's foresight is not omniscient and cannot be used to change the past, thus she often keeps the information to herself. This includes Typhon's fate when she saved her, and the Doctor's fate in her Elite 2 promotion record.
  • Unperson: The Cyclops Sarkaz has a tribe-wide version of this, as they migrated to Sami after the death of the last well known Cyclops Sarkaz who was also a Sarkaz King, the bearer of Civilight Eterna and do not keep any written records whatsoever, causing them to gradually fade into history. This is reflected in Valarqvin lacking a known birth date and combat experience.
  • You Can't Fight Fate: Most Cyclops Sarkaz at one point tried to fight against their fate and ended up only accelerating their own deaths. This has led to the tribe isolating themselves in Sami and focusing on their own mission instead. Valarqvin is considered an abnormality to this due to her actively reaching out to other factions that might be able to help her stop the threat of the Northern Demons in Sami.

Affiliation: Laterano
Race: Sankta
Birthday: September 23
Height: 168 cm

"I should have introduced myself with music, only, unfortunately, I am temporarily banned from playing for you. So, let's start with a moniker... You may call me, 'Virtuosa'."

An infamous Sankta criminal fugitive and Executor's distant cousin. She has a fascination with emotions, and musical Arts that can draw out and amplify a person's deepest emotions and desires.

  • Affably Evil: Despite how dangerous and unfettered Arturia is, she is not actively malicious in intent, and she is always genuinely polite, respectful, and even caring towards others at times.
  • All Your Powers Combined: She combines elements of multiple Supporter types, with her ability to inflict Necrosis as a Ritualist, her talent letting her Slow down enemies like a Decel Binder, and her second and third skills revolving around buffing allies in range like a Bard. For balance purposes her values are naturally lower than actual units of the aforementioned archetypes, though she excels in her own archetype's specialty in inflicting Necrosis damage.
  • Anime Hair: Her hair is shaped like a swallow's tail.
  • The Anti-Nihilist: In a very twisted way, this is what her ideology amounts to. Because Arturia believes death is inevitable, the only thing that matters is to fulfill your life's wishes no matter the cost, which serves as a reason why she continues to indulge in her musical Arts despite the harm it causes, and why she believes inflicting her Arts upon others is ultimately a form of compassion, as it is preferable to doing nothing and allow them to suffer with their regrets.
Even if it is your request, I will not stop my performance. Trauma is one thing, freedom is another. My life is no different from any other, once I stop, I will walk towards the end.
  • Arch-Enemy: She's the arch-nemesis of her distant cousin Federico a.k.a Executor. Just the mere mention of her appearance by Oren was enough to grab Federico's attention in "Guide Ahead".
  • Arc Villain: She's the main antagonist of "Hortus de Escapismo" by using her music to amplify the negative feelings in the monastery residents' hearts and causing the situation to destabilize faster.
  • Armor-Piercing Attack: Her main form of offense is dealing Necrosis damage to all enemies within her range, and once it hits the threshold, the enemy takes 800 elemental damagenote  per second as the gauge recovers.
  • Barrier Warrior: She can creates a barrier by playing music, which she uses in "Hortus de Escapismo" to block Executor's shot directed at her and in the "Terra Historicus" manga to block a barrage of rocks sent at her. She does not use this in game, however.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Arturia believes fully in ending one's life without regrets, regardless of the consequences or morality of what her Arts can cause. This means she is fully capable of amplifying one's good (such as encouraging Kreide's kindness) and bad traits, and sees no difference between them. In her Operator Record, Amiya describes her as someone who thinks neither of good nor evil. However, she is also shown to genuinely regret the deaths of those close to her, as well as being aware of her own sins while discussing her chosen role as Saint with Pope Yvangelista XI.
  • Boxed Crook: It's implied that the reason she is in Rhodes Island is to limit the damage she can potentially cause by keeping her under supervision, in addition to RI's interest in emotion and consciousness based Originium Arts. In her Operator Record and Archive Notes, it is revealed that she is disallowed to leave the landship without supervision, and she is under constant watch and her Arts being extensively researched while she undergoes psychological examinations at the request of Laterano authorities, effectively making her a prisoner as well as a patient.
  • Brown Note: Arturia weaponizes this trope both in story and gameplay, using her music to release a person's inhibitions and unveil their true desires in the former, and deals constant Necrosis damage to all enemies who hear her music in the latter.
  • The Chosen One: Her Operator Record reveals that both she and Executor have been chosen by the Law to take the title of Saint. It’s theorized from research into her Arts that they may be related to the Sankta empathy, implying her powers themselves are related to the Law to begin with.
  • Curtains Match the Window: She has dark eyes and black long hair.
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: Her Elite 2 talent increases Necrosis damage taken by enemies in her attack range. Activating her third skill will significantly increase this multiplier.
  • Dark Is Evil: Downplayed as Arturia is not actively malicious, but she still fits: black hair, a black halo and wings, her wardrobe includes a black skirt with black stockings and heels, and being a musician with a deeply warped moral compass that incites people out of a twisted desire for self-expression, regardless of the consequences.
  • Didn't See That Coming: After her numerous crimes, some of which she understands firmly were crossing a line despite her warped values, the very last thing she expected was Yvangelista XI out of the blue canonizing her as a Saint (even if in secret) at the end of "Zwillingstürme im Herbst", which understandably surprises and confuses her. Yvangelista XI justifies it as a move of necessity as he feels she will be needed as the end of days is coming sooner than they'd both like.
  • Due to the Dead: She still cares about her deceased music teacher as seen in "Terra Historicus" manga when she leaves the Witch King's Arts Unit on their grave as an offering.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: She was first mentioned by Executor as "a distant relative" in his trust voice line, before her name was revealed in a conversation between Executor and Oren in "Guide Ahead". Her first onscreen appearance was in "Lingering Echoes" as a nameless NPC, before making a proper appearance in "Hortus de Escapismo".
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: For all her misdeeds and Blue-and-Orange Morality, she does care about her parents and her cousin Federico.
  • Evil Counterpart: A downplayed example as she's not so much "evil" as having Blue-and-Orange Morality, but her Operator Record paints her as one to Amiya. She acknowledges their Arts as being similar, and both play stringed instruments and are The Chosen One to different greater powers. Amiya considers the two of them very different people in spite of that, but their similarities also allows Amiya to understand Arturia better than most others do.
  • Evil Mentor: "Lingering Echoes" revealed that she taught Kreide how to play the cello. She herself is also on the receiving end of this, as the "Terra Historicus" manga revealed that her cello teacher was a follower of the Witch King.
  • Field Power Effect: Her first talent causes all enemies in range to take Necrosis damage and be inflicted with a brief slow every second, weakening anything that just gets close to her.
  • Gameplay and Story Integration:
    • Her Ritualist archetype gives her the ability to inflict Necrosis damage upon her enemies - which Executor the Ex Foedere is weak tonote . Fittingly, in "Hortus de Escapismo" she both messed with Executor's emotions with her Arts and foiled his attempt to kill her. On the other hand, her Laterano affiliation grants him extra ammo via his second talent, which fits in with her still regarding him warmly despite Executor's animosity towards her.
    • Her third skill buffing the HP, ATK, and DEF of the operators in range with the highest of each respective stat allude to her Arts focusing on amplifying a person's truest emotions, in this case amplifying their most defining stat.
    • Her combination of inflicting and amplifying Necrosis damage as well as her third skill's buffing the ATK stat of the allied Operator with the highest ATK in range also makes her a perfect support for Ebenholz with his third Module, alluding to their status as fellow Leithania-based musicians with a bit of shared history involving Kreide and the Witch King.
  • Gratuitous Italian: "Virtuosa" is the female form of ''virtuoso". She likely selected the codename due to her status as a music prodigy.
  • Hazy-Feel Turn: Despite being a wanted criminal, she joins Rhodes Island in "Zwillingstürme Im Herbst", by way of a joint agreement between Leithanien and Laterano to have her temporarily become an operator under strict supervision.
  • Hair-Contrast Duo: She's the black haired fugitive to Federico's blond haired law enforcement officer.
  • Holy Halo: As a Sankta she has a halo, although hers is black and comprised of fragments despite her not being fallen.
  • Image Song: "Revealing"
  • I Shall Taunt You: In "Hortus de Escapismo" she taunts Executor with the possibility of killing her. He did shoot her, but she shrugged off his shot with her Arts. Executor knew that she was never in any danger at all, indicating this is common behavior for her.
  • Lady of Black Magic: Arturia is an elegant-looking and affable, if unfettered, lady who wields devastatingly powerful necrotic and emotional Arts with her music.
  • Matricide: Her and Federico's chapter in "Terra Historicus" manga revealed that she indirectly killed her mother with her music Arts, by causing her mother to abandon her post as a diplomat to become a war correspondent and was killed in the field a few months later. Chapter 2 did state that although she did not regret pushing her mother into the path of a war correspondent, she regretted not trying harder to prevent her mother's death.
  • Mind-Control Music: She casts a special type of Originium Arts by playing her cello, which has the effect of removing people's inhibitions and inducing them to follow their deepest desires. Her archive files which contain research files on experiments on her Arts conclude she does this by awakening the most important memories within her listeners, and those memories provoke powerful emotions which then drive their actions.
  • Mirror Character: Her encounter with the Witch King in "Zwillingstürme Im Herbst" reveals that she is not that different from her cousin. She also does not understand emotions like Federico, but where he filled in the gap with logical deductions, she chose to fill it with emotions from other people instead; the only time she truly felt emotions was when her mother died. The Witch King even calls her a mirror that reflects the feelings of others, but without the ability to truly understand them.
  • Not in This for Your Revolution: "Zwillingstürme Im Herbst" confirmed that she did cooperate with the Witch King's remnants but for an entirely different reason than what they did in "Lingering Echoes". She wanted to seek an audience with the Witch King to ask about her ideal future.
  • No-Sell: Her Arts does not appear to work on people lacking emotions, which is why Executor is specifically designated to handle all affairs related to her. "Hortus de Escapismo" subverts this; Executor is still affected, albeit not to the degree seen in other people, as it’s later suggested that her Arts in fact affect memories and not emotions directly.
  • One Degree of Separation: It is implied that the noble she is serving as of "Hortus de Escapismo" is Viviana's father.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: She did this to a Leithanien nobleman in chapter 2 of "Terra Historicus" manga that centers on her and Kreide. The nobleman seeks to restore his former glory by enslaving a group of Infected to find an Arts Unit once used by the Witch King, only to have Arturia turning the magic in the ruins upon him.
  • Pet the Dog: Arturia teaching Kreide how to play the cello in "Terra Historicus" manga was a surprisingly heartfelt moment on her part. She told him that while everyone is destined to die, it's important to die without any regrets, and encouraged him to stay as kind as he is now.
  • Promoted to Playable: Arturia became a playable operator in the 4.5th Anniversary event Zwillingstürme Im Herbst, under the codename Virtuosa.
  • Psychic-Assisted Suicide: One of the effects of her music is that it can amplify the negative drives inside a victim and causing them to commit suicide such as Clement the Ambrose Monastery gardener in "Hortus de Escapismo".
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: She's the passionate and emotion-obsessed Red to Executor's The Stoic Blue.
  • Sadist: Subverted. She initially seems sadistic as her obsession with emotions leads to her using her Arts to incite various incidents to satisfy her own desires to see people's "truest" emotions, regardless of the consequences, but Executor states in Zwillingstürme Im Herbst that she doesn't actually derive any pleasure from the negative consequences that occur, instead expressing disappointment as it does not help her true goals.
  • Status Buff: Her third skill disables her auto attack, instead amplifying the effect of her Elite 2 talent and raise the HP/ATK/DEF of the ally with highest HP/ATK/DEF in her attack range. One ally can recieve multiple buffs if they have the highest in multiple or all of the stats, or if they're just the only one available.
  • Tragic Keepsake: In "Terra Historicus" manga, she gifted her teacher's cello to Kreide. Unfortunately, said cello is later destroyed in "Lingering Echoes".
  • Token Evil Teammate: Even when taking into account playable morally-grey Operators like W and Ho'olheyak, Arturia is easily among the most morally dubious operators to join Rhodes Island so far.
  • Too Spicy for Yog-Sothoth: Ominously enough, her Promotion Record reveals that the Doctor is the one person she won't play for, at least not as long they are in Rhodes Island.
  • The Unfettered: An unwavering belief Arturia has carried since childhood is the belief people are far too restrained as she pursues her desire to see others live out their true passions by using her musical Arts on them, becoming a criminal on the run as she continued this one goal as an adult.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: "Zwillingstürme Im Herbst" shows that Arturia was more or less a normal Sankta girl and caring sister to a young Federico, even making a promise to take him to the highest point in Laterano. Her emotion-altering Arts manifested in her childhood when she played music, and over time her Arts eroded her own emotions, causing her to seek out other people's strong emotions to fill in for the lack of her own.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: While she is a wanted criminal in Laterano, she is basically a celebrity in Leithanien due to her mastery over musical Arts, and the Leithanien musical community considers it a great loss to the field of music when she is transferred to Rhodes Island.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Her Originium Arts stems from her belief that everyone should follow their deepest desires, so they can die without regrets. Expanded in "Zwillingstürme Im Herbst" where she expresses to the Witch King that she seeks an ideal world where everybody are united by empathy; and for that purpose she uses her Arts to bring out people's emotions, make them face their pain so their hearts and minds can be stronger.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Executor considered her a sister when they lived together, prior to the start of her crimes. She still called him "brother" in his second Operator Record.
  • What Measure Is A Nonhuman: In her introduction PV, she is seen mocking the Seaborn for their lack of human desires. This is similar to how Deepcolor and Specter look down on the Seaborn for their inability to understand art.
  • Winged Humanoid: She has shard-like darkened wings, but otherwise mostly looks human.

"Nice meeting you, Doctor, I'm Windflit, new Operator at Engineering. You said you saw my ability in me? Real thankful for that."

  • Animal Motifs: Windflit has dog motifs due to his Perro race. In particular he is based on his artist's own dog which seems to be a Border Collie with his long tail and semi-floppy ears hinting at it. His Squad leader line also mentions him herding the other operators together, futher hinting at his nature as a herding dog.
  • The Engineer: Unsuprisingly considering he's an engineering student. Weaponized using his skills and the oversized wrench he uses to fight enemies. Outside of combat he also likes to tinker with scrabs to make metal models or other gadgets.
  • Unseen No More: While a lot more obscure than Goldenglow's case, he was in the works for about four years. His E2 art was drawn earlier, but it was taken back due to people pointing out its similarities to La Pluma's E2 art. Thus his release was stalled until everything got back into place with a new E2 artwork.
