"Heresy" by Nine Inch Nails would fit perfectly as an end credits song for Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, considering its lyrical themes match up with the game's penultimate boss.
I can't say goodbye to yesterday…A Ke Mi Ya Ma Sa Ki may be a track from a yuri anime but it invokes this strange mix of calmness and tension. It's like roaming through the country on a tranquil sunny day, gentle wind rustling in the lush vegetation but you still feel that lingering sense of dread ... perhaps an enemy sniper just set his sights on you. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault: The Nebelwerfer Hunt anyone?
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.When listening to the first Resident Evil motion picture soundtrack it occured to me that several Marilyn Manson's tracks would fit well in the first Half-Life and its expansion Opposing Force. Picture this:
Seizure of Power - an adrenaline packed shoot-out with squads of HECU marines in the We've Got Hostiles or any similar industrial area.
Reunion - a horrific sequence in darkened industrial area with bunches of Xenizens or Race X aliens warping in occassionally (the sudden loud screeches) while you ride a ridiculously slow flatbed cart. At 1:52 it passes over a high-pressure gas pipeline.
Cleansing- a scenario similar to the Pit Worm battle. Except now the chamber is mostly dark, considerably deeper and the creature isn't present right from the beginning. It gives you a few tense moments and several hair-raising wails before emerging from the bottom. Midway through the track you enter an alien infested room to activate the pump and return to the control room for the grand finale. When the sirens go off the Worm pauses in confusion. Then the ceiling-mounted nozzles open and douse the creature in generous portion of acidic waste. The monster screams in agony and plummets down into darkness. Satisfactory.

Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.ATEEZ's "Wonderland" over Verdant Wind's final battle. No offense to God-Shattering Star, it's just A. I'd already come to associate ATEEZ with the Golden Deer and B. Wonderland gives me so many more "final battle" vibes. Also Dream Catcher's "Deja Vu" for Edelgard on every route but her own; Crimson Flower gets "BOCA" for the battle with the Immaculate One. I've also begun to associate a fair amount of TXT's songs with Dimitri. (I just like kpop and Fire Emblem a lot okay)
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeI stumbled upon "Rocking Chair" by Dean Friedman somewhere and was convinced it had to be the extended version of a 70's or early 80's sitcom theme. I still think it could be a good theme for a show with some retraux sitcom element to it, or even an ironic one to a show that uses dark humor.

Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage. The Prodigy's Out of Space would go well with a launch sequence in Kerbal Space Program.
Maybe the squeaky voice has something to do with it too.

Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.LĂ©andre Monette's A Song of Acid and Bones would go quite well with the space shuttle ascension cinematic in Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive.
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.Well I have wound up associating a few tracks with Magia Record charatcers and events:
- the first that comes to mind being "Illegal Function Call", which I wound up associating with Sana Futaba and her introductory arc.
- And then there is Camellia's "Flamewall", which I associate with Tsuruno Yui partly for puns (her Limit Break attack is called "Flame Waltz") and partly because of a certain conflict involving her in that game's story. Outside of that, the music also seems like it's be an epic Climax Boss BGM
- Going back to DDR, I also wound up associating "chaos eater" with a certain spoiler character as a result of drafting a crossover fanfic and me personally likening her powers to a literization of that track's title.
- Outside of Rhythm Game and adjacent music. I also associated DAGames's "Until Dawn" with the story's midpoint and biggest Wham Episode (adapted as the last few episodes of the anime adaptation's first season). I'm also think I'm starting to associated their more recent "I'm Sorry" to part of that same point. (worth noting that the former is about the singer's experience with the eponymous game and that the latter is part of a trilogy of albums with their own story and lore)
- Lastly there is Camellia's Kisaragi, a song with a name that seems like it would fit the game's premise as well as protagonists Iroha and Yachiyo.
Outside of Magireco and Madoka in general. I sometimes associate "Why Do We Hold" (also from DA Games) with Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, specifically a certain part of the story's endgame.
All that said, none of the above sound like they would mesh with the mentioned media's soundtrack. It more of a thematic thing for me (and mostly based only off the titles or lyrics ofc).
For songs that I generally think might make good boss fight BGM (the aforementioned Flamewall aside), I would have to mention "Crisscrosser", "angelik-vice", "MEI" (Camellia's remix specifically), "QZKago Requiem" and "Northern Cross" (EDIT: forgot "EMERALDAS"). "Into the Beyond" meanwhile is something I would associate with exploring uncharted frontiers and also seems like it would thematically fit some aspects of Fate/Grand Order's "Cosmos in the Lostbelt" metaarc.

If Dreamcatcher's "Eclipse" wasn't already the opening for the King's Raid anime, I feel like it would be perfect for a Bloody Roar anime.
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeSympathy Reloaded by Tomisiro sounds like straight out of a scrolling 2D space shooter. Tyrian could definitely use this one.
The middle part of The End of All Things sounds like an end-of-the-world omen or an exodus. I'd play this track to a fictional scenario of evacuating a planet which's sun is about to go supernova.
Or would you rather perform a hyper-space jump with the entire planet? Suyuki Saeko & Tomisiro will gladly provide an appropriate soundtrack for you.
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.When listening to the chorus (but ignore the lyrics) of Savlonicactually 's Tiny Japanese Girl, do you imagine an ambulance rushing to get to a critically injured patient in time? Or some other situation involving emergency and flashing red and blue lights?
This number from rather obscure first-person shooter dubbed Devastation would sound great to traversing between massive skyscrapers of cyberpunk metropolis on a monorail hundreds of meters above ground.
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.The Prodigy's "World's On Fire" would be right at home in the fire level from Sonic and the Secret Rings.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Who would have thought Toby Fox' Waterfall would suit the Bridge Of Fate map from Unreal Tournament 2004 so well?
Ever heard Sweet Harmony by The Beloved? The pensive mood and steady pace of the song makes it ripe for some space-themed platformer. Although the only example I can think of right now is rather obscure C64 game Hard 'n' Heavy.
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.I have a few songs which can fit in so well which hardly anyone thought would fit. Mostly coming from things that I liked the most.
- The main menu theme from Princess Connect! Re:Dive can work well as a walkout anthem for any football team. Mainly because of the glorious feeling it gives when it comes to fantasizing about players coming out to the pitch.
- And speaking of Priconne, the battle arena section of the game would be the best fit for an Irish punk rock song. Specifically, Prisoner Song by Dropkick Murphys. It's the genre's awesome mix of rock and traditional folk music that gives me a feeling of preparing to fight against my foe, kinda like how two teams of 5 girls come to fight in the arena.
- There are many songs featured in the FIFA Soccer series note that I came to like. Energy by Avellino, Unorthodox by Wretch 32, Professional Griefers by deadmau5, Sorcerary by Future Funk Squad, Stop This Flame by Celeste, Go Hard by Fugative, Queen Bee by The Beekeepers, The Lesson by Camo & Krooked, and Booming Back at You by Junkie XL. All of these songs would work really well in my head......when I'm playing a stage in Blue Archive. Whenever I hear the OST of the game, I always wondered what would it feel like if it has some licensed soundtrack. And FIFA happens to have a few songs that I think would match up the electronic-ness vibe of Blue Archive's music.
3D Dance by Trans-X sounds kind of bland after all the years but for some reason back in 90's I imagined Kurt Hectic going against Strogg Super Tank to the song. If only the low gravely voice sounded more like Cabal or the Overmind. It also needs more bass.
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.I had this one on my mind for several years but always kept forgetting to post it here.
Chris Geehan and Dan Byrne McCullough's Welcome to the Party kind of fits any busy urban area in Red Alert 2.
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.First listen to Level 1 soundtrack od Dove
Now check this animation of dancing Anna in Yogurting opening.
It wouldn't even need much tweaking to run completely in sync with the soundtrack above and fit the tune. Don't you think?
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.While playing Atlantis of Tomb Raider I I listened to this. Quite fitting, isn't it?
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.
Surely you had that thought when listening to your favorite track that: "This would sound excellent in scene X / film X / video game X". Doesn't even have to be an existing thing - your own made-up stuff is also appreciated (as long as it doesn't violate the forum rules of course).
An example from me:
Waterfall Hard of the Will Rock would actually fit great in a combat helicopter flight simulator. Just imagine targeting and blasting mobile armor with your AH 64 to this track.
