What do you enjoy most about My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic?

I think it's gonna be awesome, especially since it's being handled by people with A LOT of experience in other shows! It's got a great premise (traversing through a portal and encountering weird, paranormal stuff, and focusing on demons and witches? Heck yes!!), and I'd even say that it's part of Disney possibly taking the lead in cartoons for these next couple of years! I just hope Dana doesn't get too burned out with all of the work she's handling!

(That reminds me! I think I've seen a poster of that snaggletoothed lady somewhere in the paranormal black market!)

Your thoughts on Disney XD's upcoming show The Owl House?

Looks like it's gonna be one hell of a good time. Especially love the scene where a security guard nearly shits his pants when Doom Slayer takes his plasma gun from him.

What do you think of the Doom Eternal gameplay reveal?

I've played 2, New Vegas, and 4. New Vegas is my favorite, because of its unique post-apocalyptic sci-fi western setting, great writing, decent gunplay, and frankly impressive moddability.

Not counting Smash 4 (since it's not a Mario game), I would say Mario Kart 8. Man, I loved that game, possibly even more than others like Super Mario World and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.

I also mained Larry and Lemmy in MK8 even though they sucked.

How many times a week do you feel that you edit wiki pages?

Alola, hands down. It just looks like such a nice place to visit/live (when there isn't trouble with Ultra Beasts, of course) and has a ton of great Pokémon. Hoenn comes in at a close second.

Hmm... some of my favorites include Phantom Ganon from Ocarina of Time, Zant from Twilight Princess, Molgera from Wind Waker and Majora's Mask from, well, Majora's Mask.

That's a hard choice, I like them all x3 But my favorites would be Umbreon and Glaceon, so one of them (Dark and Ice are my favorite types x3)

If you were an Eevee, which Eeveelution would you strive to become? (Or would you just stay an Eevee?)

Probably would go with Vaporeon since Water-type is my favorite type, plus being able to swim everywhere and even become water would be really fun.

If not Vaporeon, then definitely Glaceon or Umbreon.

Revenge of the Sith. It's a wonderful tragedy, and the fights were better looking than in any other film, sans maybe Return of the Jedi.

How long have you been working on Armadillo?

In the halcyon days of late 2009, shortly after I'd joined Tumblr, a few friends of mine on there mentioned that they weren't really sure about the then-upcoming movie adaptation casting Michael Cera in the lead role.

I looked into getting it for myself digitally just to see what all the fuss was about, and it blew my 13-year-old mind. I binged all five of the ones that were out at that point and got the sixth one on its release day, but didn't get to see the movie until a few months after it came out.

But yeah. The plot and presentation of both the film and the comics resonated deeply with me because of how much I enjoyed (and still love!) post-modernism, video games, indie rock and awkward relationships, and in one way or another it would go on to inform my taste in almost everything I would be into from that point on.

Mind telling me what got you so into Scott Pilgrim? I know a friend that has all volumes as hardcovers, and I've been meaning to look into it for a while! Edit: That's so cool that the comic and the movie matched up with your interests so well! I've watched the movie in the past, and I'm fond of the music from the video game. (Like the Scott Pilgrim Anthem! The game's music is chiptune mixed with rock.)

Is there a name for your Space Merc character’s species?

Without a doubt there’s a bit of Shep in there. I think his role is definitely inspired by that. As a character, he’s more inspired by Sal Tessio, Junior Soprano and Kevin Schlehuber.

Is Enzo, perchance, based on Shepherd Book?

Role-on-the-ship-wise, I had the idea for him long before the ITT began, especially after reading the Space Is an Ocean and Conveniently Close Planet pages and thinking about how you would hypothetically navigate a real, interstellar spaceship.

Character-wise, he's still a bit fuzzy, but I'll probably figure him out as we get further into the game and his Characterization Marches On.

Name-wise, he's got the first name of Frank Zappa and the last name of Don Van Vliet, better known as Captain Beefheart.

What are your main inspirations for Frank? How did you name him?

I quite like 'em, but I'm not a trainspotter in the classic sense. In fact, I'm more interested on the interior of the train and the train stations instead. I can see myself being a fotofuzzi, however. ^* "Boo, another Autistic person who likes trains!" I know.

Drawing it didn't take me too long, about less than 30 minutes, however the watercolouring took about an hour.

Probably a space Changeling, because Changelings in their unreformed state look very alien already. They'd be brightly colored like their reformed selves, but still have holes.
