This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):
%% crowner link
%% Please do not change or remove without starting a new thread.
- If one or more previous images on the page were pulled, those forum links should remain on the page as well, but the accompanying templates should be replaced by:
- Captions selected by crowner will be tagged using this template (which goes under the image caption):
Sandbox for backlog items awaiting a crowner slot: Image Pickin' Backlog

The second crop for the extendable arms picture and the one for the mutilation are good, but I still claim that the suggestion for Number Two is JAFAAC. Some captains and high-rank people do the pose that the guy in the background is doing, and being closer to the camera doesn't make you higher-rank either.
I gotta agree with . Aside from the four pips on his collar to Riker's three, there's nothing that visually demonstrates that Picard outranks Riker.
If you have to actively ignore visual cues to arrive at the conclusion that it's JAFAAC, it might not really be JAFAAC.
How about the fact that one of them is clearly older compared to the crew member standing at attention? Or the one in the background? And if even that weren't enough, we can always combine it with a good caption.
Agreed, looks better than my crop.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Captions can always support images. They just can't be the only thing indicating the trope.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Being old does not prove superiority. Being in the background does not prove inferiority.
I so want to suggest "Number One, I order you to go take a number 2." as the caption for the Picard/Riker pic.
For Monster.Fire Emblem I suggest this image of Hans from Fire Emblem Fates. This happens at the end of chapter 13 in the Conquest path when he orders the massacre of innocent villagers in Cheve pretexting to end a rebellion.
@Number Two: The collar pips are barely visible. They're there, but I think a better image could probably be found.
Regarding Number Two, something not proving something doesn't mean it doesn't indicate the same. And it doesn't fall under JAFAAC if all you're doing is clarifying those indications in the caption. It's not like this case would involve mentioning things you can't infer from the image. All it would do is prevent you from actively ignoring them.
Check out my fanfiction!I think that, whenever possible, cropping and panel selection decisions should be made before an image is voted on. Each can make a huge difference in an image, and affect votes.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Sounds like a feasible idea.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportFor Cathartic Scream, wouldn't the last two panels of this comic be appropriate? Would have to get permission from the artist of course:

No, I don't think it would be a very good choice. With the last two panels only, there'd be too little context - we see a flaming skull screaming into a hole, but there's no indication as why it would be cathartic.
Yeah, I have to agree, there's not quite enough context with just those two panels.
Also, who said I was actively ignoring indications in the picture? I genuinely didn't see the pips (and the number of them, by extension) in the clothes. If people can't see it, they're not actively ignoring it; they're just not noticing it. Same thing with the rose in the picture for Cherry Tapping.

There's a difference. A proof absolutely solidifies that it's the only option. An indication shows what's likely the case. If you see two people, one old and one young, who is more likely to be the superior? Riker's pose looks a lot more like someone standing in wait for orders than a superior.
Check out my fanfiction!I've started threads for the two options that failed in the crowner; the discussion about the Riker/Picard pic can pick up there.
Image suggestion for The Last Dance:
I suggest to use the duel scene between the Hunter and Gehrman from Bloodborne, it is a duel between a hunter who wants to halt the source of nightmare and a selfless person who wants to Mercy Kill the former to spare him from living in the Hunter's Dream for the rest of his life. The white flowers around them also symbolize death, that means it'll be the one last fight for them, and one of them has to die in this fateful duel.
The whole fight is also as dynamic as a dance.

Since there were three people in favor and none opposed, I've uploaded 929.2 to Extendable Arms. Any more thoughts on the Mutilation Interrogation pics posted above? Never mind, the pic has already been put up.
With all options added to the pages and these other discussions moved to their own threads, let's have a new crowner?

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"New blank crowner hooked. Holler when it's got some options and I'll change the thread title
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Alright, I've added 20 options to work through a bit of the backlog we've got here (and the number of current threads appears to be 57). This should take us to post 860 on page 35, from page 33 on the previous one.
I've redacted my own suggestion for Spiritual Successor here after counter-arguments that it didn't quite fit the trope. There's a similar issue with the suggestion for Patricide posted here, so I wasn't sure whether to add that to the crowner.
I've started a thread for Visible Odor, since there were two different suggestions posted for it on page 35 by different tropers.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Got the title handled.
Thanks for handling the crowner options, Morganthaler.

Crown Description:
I almost think we need a separate thread to discuss all these dangling "How many panels should we use?" "What about these crops?" questions after a suggestion has already been voted up.
Anyhoo, any other thoughts on eroock's suggested crops for Extendable Arms?
Suggesting a few different crops for Number Two and Mutilation Interrogation as well to get rid of some dead space at the edges. Not happy with how Talented Princess, Regular Guy turned out though—there's a lot of detail missing when it's reduced to wiki size.
