• Ensemble Dark Horse: The group can eventually find someone in a fanfic that they actually enjoy. In Starfleet Magic, for instance, they unanimously agreed that the fic's opening antagonist, Ace Ray, was their favorite character due to his bullying of the Starfleet Troopers being justifiable because of their lazy, boring, and corrupt nature or in Springtrapped, they supported Starlight Glimmer for killing the unlikable David, having more depth than the other characters, and her defeat being a lazy final battle with her daughter against her.
• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • One certain exchange during the finale of the "Moonlight, Moonlight, Let My Fangs Gleem Tonight" multiparter effectively becomes this once the group became aware of Mykan Jr.:
    He did say that Lycans could run very fast.

    SC276: 38 miles per hour, apparently.

    Crazy56U: Yeah, that's practically like being Sonic the Hedgehog!

    ToonGuy: Like The Flash. If the Flash was stupid.

    Crazy56U: ...so Sonic the Hedgehog.
  • Given what happened four months later in "Ring's Birthday Special #3", one very unfortunate sentence was uttered in the finale of the "My Little Pony: The Acceptance of Friendship" multiparter when it was revealed that Mew caused the story to happen:
    ["]you transported me to that land the night I left Las Vegas."

    Crazy56U: (legitimately about to have a stroke) what. the FUCK. did. you. just say.

    Mono: Because let's rape Pokemon as well, amirite?!
  • During the Multipart Blitz, Mono recaps part of "My Little Sonic Friendship is way past cool" for Crazy56U, who wasn't present for when it was first riffed; special mention is given to the fact that Sonic is laughed at while he drowns. Upon clarifying that he missed seeing someone laughing at Sonic while he dies, Crazy56U wishes he saw it for himself. Fast forward to Sonic Frontiers, where this more or less happens.^note Once Sonic succumbs to the cyber corruption, effectively dying as a result, Eggman responds by laughing.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • From "The Trixieverse I: The Grass Is Always Greener":
    • Near the start of the fic, Trixie refusing to believe she's actually seeing Princess Celestia (even going so far as to say she isn't real) causes JofY to remark that "Princess Celestia is just a scary story parents tell their foals. Like Nightmare Moon, or the fact that fan fics exist." and causes Crazy56U to spout "Princess Celestia is a myth. Confirmed." Later on in the fic, it's revealed that this isn't Celestia; it's Nightmare Moon in disguise. And funniliy enough, Crazy56U is the one to realize this.
    • The way Crazy56U describes New 52 seems rather ironic given the revelations of DC Rebirth:
    Crazy56U: "We just reset the entire timeline, but don’t worry! The original timeline still exists, we just choose to not focus on it! Buy our books!! :D"
  • From "The Enemy of My Enemy", just as the Final Battle against Sombra gets under way, Scarlet remarks "Helm’s Deep, round two: The crystal-ing."
  • SC276's lines about Kamen Rider being something he'd never watch in the first Obscure Crossover Shuffle are this, now that said series has been added to his reference pool, including most of his songs for countering Song Fics being fandubbed KR themes.
  • During the "A Beautiful but Scary Effect" riff, Crazy56U personally decides to believe that the character Reaper died and then was resurrected. This riff was before Overwatch was a thing, by the way.
  • During the first half of the "Moonlight, Moonlight, Let my Fangs Gleem Tonight" multiparter, a mention of Spike sticking his ear out of "the door upstairs" prompts Crazy56U to crack that "[i]n tonight’s episode of F/F/T3K15, the role of Spike will be played by Mr. Fantastic.", causing a discussion as to which one he's referring to, citing the movies as examples. ToonGuy bringing up the Roger Corman film causes CaptainPipsqueak to muse on the irony of there being four films. Near the end of the second half of the multiparter, Spike is killed by Dog.
  • During part four of "Past Sins Original Edit", the line "He had no fear of Celestia acting, for the princess was waiting for him to help her act. " led Crazy56U to interpret the line as Epic Failure quite literally trying to help her act.
    Crazy56U: [Epic Failure] "No, no, no! For the last fucking time, it's 'Alas, poor Yorick', you dumbass! YORICK!"

    [Princess Celestia] "(is waving the skull) And I'm telling you his name is JIMMY!"

  • The entire concept of the Multipart Blitz has effectively become this in light of Mystery Science Theater 3000 announcing "The Gauntlet".
  • In describing Supernatural as the lead-in to the The Conversion Bureau: The Price of Victory portion of "Obscure Crossover Shuffle #3", Crazy56U explains that the show (at the time in the middle of its 13th season) was originally supposed to end with 5 seasons. But since the CW kept renewing it, the show had gotten to the point where it now "[would] only die when the main leads want it to". And sure enough, Crazy56U called it.
    • He also makes a point of saying that Supernatural had effectively become "Bible fanfiction", and that God was actually a character in the show as the author of the In-Universe book version of the series, Chuck. The finale of Season 14 revealed that God was in fact the mastermind of the series, orchestrating the events of the show for his own entertainment. Or, in other words, the show was revealed to have been nothing more than God's fanfiction.
    • Similarly, a certain reference to "I Am Furious (Yellow)" becomes this when you factor in God becoming the antagonist of the final season:

      Crazy56U: [Chuck] "CHUCK MAD! CHUCK SMASH! GET REVENGE ON WORLD!"

  • The fact that Mykan Jr.'s Equestria Girls fanfics kept duct taping Sonic The Hedgehog to The Flash becomes this thanks to the Sonic movie showing Sonic's activities on Earth at the start... which include actually reading issues of The Flash.
  • Right at the outset of the first part of the "Kingdom Hearts: Equestria Girls" multiparter, published in January 2019, Crazy56U openly states his belief that "the day Sora gets into Smash is the day Hell freezes over". Fast forward to October 2021, and Sora is revealed to be the last DLC character.
  • One of the descriptions SC276 gives for the main character's hair in Handbook for Mortals is "Octolings and Salmonids simultaneously breaking into a Turf War match". Years later, Splatoon 3 would have Big Run, where the Salmonids break into the multiplayer maps.
• Memetic Mutation: Internally, LukasDeAudi's rant at the end of the "Seventh planet/The Mirror Spell" multiparter gave birth to the "fuckers so-called Bronies" Running Gag.
• Never Live It Down: Variation: ever since Ring brought up (during "The Celestial Sabre Saga") a past argument concerning Derpy's name lasting about half a page (and was removed due to not being funny), whenever a fic seems to be leading towards a similar situation, Crazy56U demands that no one piss Ring off.
• The Scrappy: There's a reason the gag is "SHUT THE FUCK UP, RHYMEY".
  • "My Little Gumball"!Twilight, "Past Sins"!Celestia, "Element Seven"'s Happy Appy, "Living the Dream"'s Louie, and "The Pokemon Story"'s David are all noteworthy of being the characters that pissed Crazy56U off the most out of any other character in a riff.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: No matter how innocent the fanfic being riffed is, the riffers will find a way to bump the rating up to at least a teen rating. This may include innuendos, foul language, violence, drug and alcohol use, etc.
