Tracey: I mean if my husband was in hospital, I'd be mountin' a bedside vigil.
Sharon: Well if I was at Chris' bedside, he'd be tryna mount me.
Tracey Stubbs telling Sharon Theodopolopodous that she should be with Chris in hospital.

  • Date First Aired: 09/06/1997

Chris and Darryl are on the verge of release, much to the disappointment of Sharon and joy of Tracey. Whilst at prison, Sharon comes across an old school friend of hers once called "Snotty Scotty" and now known as "Hopeless", who had been sent to prison for getting into bad company. She invites him to a party, helped by the fact that Chris gets run over by a car.

Luckily Chris survives (well, unluckily in Sharon's case), and Darryl is reintroduced to his old home. However, troubles begin straight away as Darryl struggles with his new life and Tracey's development. Making matters worse, he dodges a party in favor of drinking with his mates, a problem since this puts him at risk of committing a crime. Meanwhile, Dorien has decided to use the opportunity to have sex with Jonathan now that Marcus is out of town. Apparently, he's a fan of bondage, so she's chained him to the door.

Soon Darryl returns drunk and Tracey finds tons of money with him whilst he sleeps, leading her to assume the worst. Luckily, it turns out that his old mates had just given him some money. Unfortunately, Dorien's marriage takes a turn for the worst - she's unable to get Jonathan loose before Marcus comes in.

Tropes in this episode:

  • Accidental Misnaming: Like Chris, Darryl manages to misname Dorien as "Doreen".

  • Continuity Nod:
  • Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: In-Universe; While watching Prisoner: Cell Block H, Tracey claims Lynn just accused Franky of being butch and that's why the two were fighting, however in the actual episode the fight began because Franky threatened to kill Lynn in the middle of the night, so Lynn swung at her with a shovel.

  • Eating Pet Food: Both Sharon and Chris accidentally eat cat food thinking that it's tuna.
