Charlotte Rae Lubotsky (April 22, 1926 - August 5, 2018) was an American actress, comedian, and singer best known for The Facts of Life (1979-1986), Hair (1979), and You Don't Mess with the Zohan.
She was married to composer John Strauss and they had two children.
Rae died in 2018 at the age of 92.
