Boiling blood torments the body of the violent one. Neither love nor hatred matters anymore.

Sinners who belong to the VIOLENCE Libram.

    Shared Tropes
  • Ax-Crazy: Many Sinners of the VIOLENCE Libram, as the name implies, are driven by their violent impulses - either towards a specific target or the world in general. The more restrained ones (such as Zoya) manifest this as Tranquil Fury whereas as the more impulsive ones (such as Dolly) go straight for Unstoppable Rage.

A competitive fighter in the underground fighting world.
  • Blood Knight: As Corso had been a competitive fighter in the underground fighting arenas, she is definitely thirsty for bloody battles. Before she started to channel her power and energy to positive things after the chief arrested her, she would challenge other Sinners to fight, but there was rarely anyone who was willing to accept her challenge. Everyone basically responds by giving her their own assignments which she is fine with as she is passionate about accepting any combat mission and will even request extra tasks.
  • Dirty Coward: Corso is viewed as this. This is because her tricksy fighting style goes against the long-held Syndicate tradition of valuing sheer strength. But given how much Blood Knight she is, she may play dirty but is never a coward who runs away from a bloody fight.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: While the Chief was continuing their search for the missing Corpseborne's other half at Inner Bay Mine W-31 which is the ruins of BR-002 during Chapter 11, they briefly met a female blue-haired gladiator affilated with Rustfire. It is not until later that the Chief finds out that her name is Corso.
  • Weak, but Skilled: Because Corso lacks the strength of other fighters, she wins her fights with clever tricks.

MBCC File ID: MBCC-S-311
Sinner Ability: Craze & Restlessness
Tendency: Fury
Skills: Batting, Manic, Ball Practice, Omen of Chaos
Affiliation: The Homeless
Birthplace: Syndicate
Birthday: 10/30
Height: 153cm

A Sinner with a love for baseball and swinging her baseball bat, and a former baseball player herself until she was left disgraced for causing the infamous Eastside Stadium Riot 3 years ago.
  • Affectionate Nickname: "Coach" for the Chief, given to them at them end of her Interrogation as she accepts them as their superior that can guide her baseball skills for the greater good of others.
  • Batter Up!: Her weapon of choice is a red baseball bat with nails attached to them, the same one she used when playing on her first and last game on Eastside—it has apparently gone through many repairs in the past as show by the black patch on it thanks to her lack of gracefulness when cracking it on the heads of her enemies.
  • Forgiven, but Not Forgotten: Played for Laughs. She ends up assisting in saving the bystanders in the Eastside Stadium in the third part of her interrogation, but as the Chief points out, she still ran up to the center to fight the gigantic monster that appeared there against the orders of Nightingale, leading to her being locked in confinement for the night. When she points out the Chief did the same thing as her, they excuse themselves with "Coach Privileges", much to her annoyance.
  • Good Is Not Nice: Dolly is a crude and short-tempered gal whose few moments of niceties towards the Chief still has her act snarky or two-faced around them, but at the end of the day she's ultimately a passionate Spirited Competitor who just wishes to realize her dream of becoming a career baseball player. In her Interrogations, she ends up going out of her own way to save the Eastside Stadium and the civilians within due to being unable to see it crumble in front of her eyes, even rescuing an elitist Eastside manager buried beneath rubble who blames her for causing the old Stadium Riot, even if it goes against her better judgement (though not without giving him a good shakedown first).
  • Good Old Fisticuffs: In spite of always using a baseball bat during her missions, Dolly prefers to just beat the shit out of those who stand in her way with her own fists when lounging in the MBCC. And with reason, since swinging her bat is an innate trigger for her powers and having them go off at any time she gets into a mundane schuffle would lead to lethal consequences.
  • Grin of Audacity: In contrast to her usual aggressive and competitive attitude and the calmer smile she gives in her rank-up appearance, this is the look she has when interrogating her - justified, as Dolly (wrongly) believes she will be able to use the interrogation to her advantage and sweet-talk the Chief into letting her play baseball again.
  • Heroic BSoD: Falls into one at the end of second phase of her Interrogation upon learning she can't play baseball anymore because the act of swinging bats leads to the activation of her Sinner ability against her will. She doesn't rage or even complain to The Chief after discovering this, and ends up sitting on the ground motionless, defeated and lost. She bounches back from it at the end of the Interrogation after realizing she can put her bat skills to use in helping out people alongside The Chief and turn anywhere she goes into the "arena where she belongs".
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: At 153cm she's one of the smallest Sinners in the entire game and dwarfed by practically everyone, and unlike Hella or Crache she's already a grown-up adult. She's still one of the meanest fighters in the entire game and she can throw grown men around casually when pissed off.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: Downplayed; she's not an "eager" psycho and has no killings related to her criminal case in spite of her temperamental attitude, but she still shows shades of this with her pastime activities consisting entirely of baseball-related entertainment and begging the Chief like a kid for more baseball-related gear in supervision conversations/events—and that's without getting into her reaction if one is to deny her from enjoying those...
  • Tragic Dream: Dolly wants nothing more than to pursue a career as a beloved baseball player, famous throughout all of Eastside for her hits. After some testing from the Chief, she gets floored by the news she is unable to ever play baseball again due to the fact that her Sinner ability is triggered from the act of swinging a bat, and the main manifestation of this ability is an Unstoppable Rage that leaves her unable to diferentiate friend from foe. She doesn't take this well.
    • Fittingly, her personal crimebrand is called “Dream Chaser”.
  • Unstoppable Rage: As noted above for general Violence Sinners, Dolly's abilities manifest as a unstoppable flurry of attacks against her enemies due to uncontrolled emotions—these can get so bad she's one one of the few Sinners who can flat out ignore The Chief's shackles while using her ability and one of the reasons she's classified as Danger Rating A in spite of her lack of outwards malice towards others. Though as her Interrogation shows, it's not just her emotions that lead to her rage being unstoppable, but the act of swinging a bat itself that triggers that aspect.
  • When She Smiles: Dolly has very a nasty scowl in her default appearance while her inmate mugshot has her shoot quite the annoyed look at the camera, which makes her sincere smile in her rank-up appearance all the more surprising.

    K.K

K.K

Danger Rating: B
MBCC File ID:MBCC-S-217
Sinner Ability:
Tendency: Endura
Skills:
Affiliation: Whitestone Industries
Birthplace: Syndicate
Birthday: November 4
Height: 165cm
Voiced by: Zhong Ke (CN), Gwak Gyu Mi (KR)

One of core members of the Syndican shell company called Whitestone Industries.
  • Boxing Lessons for Superman: As noted by K.K. during one of the supervision events, while the Chief's Shackles may be potent; the Chief is still weak to close close-quarters combat. That is why K.K. not only taught Improvised Weapon training to Chief, but also extended the training time by three hours.
  • Cannot Tell a Joke: Due to how people misunderstood K.K.'s poker face as being unapproachable, she attempted to tell a joke in order to be more approachable. It came off more as threatening instead as shown in one of the supervision events.
  • Die or Fly: K.K. awakens as a Sinner when her life is threatened by gangsters.
  • Feel No Pain: As expected as one of Endura Sinners, K.K. doesn't feel pain as much as the others do. One of the supervision events, however, revolves around how the Chief is telling K.K. to pay more attention to her physical conditions precisely because of this trope.
  • Hidden Depths: K.K. is surprisingly good at the dancing machine as shown in one of the supervision events. She doesn't play very often though, because she doesn't like drawing attention. She is, however, willing to show her dance moves to Chief when they express their desire to see her dance.
  • Hypercompetent Sidekick: K.K. serves as this to her boss Bai Yi, doing most of the jobs she accepts since both Bai Yi and Che are too lazy and keep making up excuses about doing any work. And while K.K. may make jabs at her two partners at Whitestone Industries due to this, she really does care and worry about them as shown in one of the supervision events when she lost control during the hypnotherapy session because she couldn't save Che and Bai Yi in her dream.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Despite how K.K. never shares her food, she gave some of her food to an orange kitten while she was on a picnic during one of the supervision events.
  • Misunderstood Loner with a Heart of Gold: K.K.'s reserved and calm personality is misunderstood as boring and unapproachable by many Sinners.
  • Obsessed with Perfect Attendance: Downplayed. It is more of K.K. being such as role model Sinner as she is quite dutiful as shown in one of the supervision events.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: K.K. is recruited in an early chapter but fails to make any appearances past that in the main story until Chapter 9 where K.K. acts both as a backup and a guide as she used to live in Drifter Camp. She also shows up as part of Bai Yi's Interrogation story.

Sinner Ability: Boiling blood

Skills: Furious Attack, Incinerate, Ebullition, Bersek

Birthday: April 9

An experimental subject number ninety-nine in the Laboratory of Parma who escaped from the lab with Hella's help and severely damaged the lab during the process. After gaining freedom, she lived with Hella in Syndicate until they were later separated during a violent confrontation.
  • The Berserker: Ninety-Nine is this gameplay-wise as even one of her passive called Berserk allows her to deal 4% increased damage when attacking the same enemy, up to 5 stacks. Storywise, Ninety-Nine often becomes a Berserker when Hella is threatened or hurt. This is best shown in one of the supervision events when Ninety-Nine became infuriated and almost killed Hella's attackers when Hella carelessly got minor injuries that quickly healed thanks to Hella's Healing Factor during the dispatch mission.
  • Big Eater: Due to Parma's use of the unknown drug to modify and catalyze Ninety-Nine's body, the subject has an abnormally high blood temperature as well as boosted destructive power and aggressiveness that consumes a lot of energy according to her profile.
  • Big Guy, Little Guy: Ninety-Nine and Hella are female versions of this trope respectively.
  • Foil: While Ninety-Nine and Hella may be Heterosexual Life-Partners, they serve as each other's foil.
    • While Hella is B class rank Sinner, Ninety-Nine is A class rank Sinner.
    • Hella enjoys provoking other Sinners and uses extremely offensive language that alienates a few Sinners but still manages to keep quite a few friends. Ninety-Nine, meanwhile, rarely interacts with other Sinners as she is often seen together with only Hella.
    • While Hella's abilities revolves around Healing Factor, Ninety-Nine's abilities revovles around Cast from Hit Points instead.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: Although there are some romantic undertones in her interactions with Hella, this seems to be the status of their relationship. They end up living in the same cell, after certain events in the main questline. This might also have to do with China's harsh stance against same-sex relationships in the media.
  • Last Chance Hit Point: Ninety-Nine's exclusive crimebrand called Warm Redemption is this as Ninety-Nine will not die upon sustaining fatal damage, but instead becomes invincible for 10 seconds at max level. This effect can only be triggered once per battle. This makes Ninety-Nine viable for certain crimebrands like Sky Fall which inflicts 10,000 True Damage to all units (Sinners and enemies) within the 3x3 square of the user in 10 seconds after the battle starts and stuns them for 4 seconds as only Sinners who have Last Chance Hit Point like Rahu's exclusive crimebrand called No Way Back that players have to manually activate or Sinners who can create a shield like Demon can survive.
  • Those Two Guys: When Hella is not with Hecate, she is usually with Ninety-Nine instead.

  • Cleanup Crew: Before her incarceration, Wendy was part of the Undertakers, whose job was to clean up Corruption in the Rust. They went in with little to no supplies or protection.

A hunter who frequently conducts illegal hunting in the Rust for importing dangerous materials for Mania Weapons.
  • Animal Lover: Wolverine has a badger named Pippy as his pet.
  • Animal Motifs: Wolf is Wolverine's Animal Motifs.
  • Big Eater: One of Wolverine's supervision events has Wolverine eating ten pieces of his favorite steak as a reward for his great contributions during his mission.
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: Wolverine acts as a security guard to the Chief because he has a strong desire to protect the Chief. The problem, however, is how MBCC's daily operations are hindered because Wolverine does not let anyone come close to the Chief's office.
  • Classical Hunter: Not only Wolverine is a Classical Hunter who hunts typical games like pheasants and rabbits for meat, but he is also Hunter of Monsters who hunts Corruptors for ingredients for Mania weapons as well.
  • Die or Fly: Wolverine claims that his Sinner power awakened during a life-threatening and physically draining battle.
  • Manly Men Can Hunt: This is natural given how Wolverine is not only Classical Hunter, but also Hunter of Monsters as well. One of the supervision events is about how many of the male staff at MBCC have set their phone wallpapers with pictures of Wolverine to motivate themselves to bulk up.
  • Meaningful Name: Wolverine's name is this given his Hair-Trigger Temper nature and his love of eating meat.
  • Midnight Snack: Wolverine often eats extra meals alone late at night according to one of his serving terms.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: While Wolverine claims during the interrogation that he is only mad that he didn't get to personally kill Hank for selling him to the gang, the Chief later finds out that Wolverine still cares about Hank as a father figure who not only taught and treat him as a human.
  • Picky Eater: While Wolverine loves eating meat, he really does not like eating vegetables. This is to the point that the Chief has to tell Wolverine to eat some vegetables in one of the supervision events.
  • Street Urchin: Wolverine used to be this before a scavenger named Hank adopted him. That is until Hank sold Wolverine to the gang.
  • Tragic Keepsake: While Wolverine has complicated feelings regarding Hank, Wolverine still keeps the wolf tooth necklace that Hank gave as a first birthday present.

Sinner Ability: Excessive Violence
Tendency: Fury
Skills: Assault, Legion's Arrival, Extreme Violence, Fiery Evasion
Affiliation: The Legion
Birthplace: Syndicate
Birthday: August 12
Height: 183cm
Voiced by: Linsay Rousseau (EN), Da Wang (CN), Ayaka Fukuhara (JP), Sa Moonyoung (KR)
The leader of Syndicate's largest violent gang called West District Legion or simply known as Legion.
  • Amazonian Beauty: She is handsome and has a large, muscular build. In fact, she is the tallest female Sinner in the game and the fourth tallest Sinner overall (with Demon having the honor of being the first, Donald is the second, and Levy is the third) at time of writing.
  • Anti-Hero: Zoya is violent and ruthless, being more than willing to kill people who oppose her. She also despises the corruption of the Syndicate and aims to reform it into something better.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Heavily implied. She grew up in Syndicate and was one of the many victims of its hopelessly corrupt and unequal society.
  • Fighting from the Inside: When infected by Corpus to start another Black Ring. The fact that she is still resisting it is why the Chief is disinclined to heed 036's advice to kill her to mitigate the damages.
  • Noble Demon: Even at her worst, she is honorable and respects strength and willpower.
  • When All You Have Is a Hammer…: An acknowledged flaw of hers. Zoya believes she only knows how to solve problems with violence.
