Samuel Peyton

Sam Peyton (also known as Fireman Sam) is a team leader for the fire service.

    Elvis Cridlington

Elvis Cridlington

  • Adaptational Intelligence: Unlike in the canon series, here Elvis is more emotionally intelligent and knows multiple languages (English is his first language, he can read French, and later stories have him learning British Sign Language).
  • Cool Big Bro: When he becomes friends with Gabby, he acts as a fun-loving, goofy older brother figure to her.
  • The Heart: Elvis' unbridled enthusiasm and kindness is what glues the fire service together.
  • Intergenerational Friendship: He's twenty-nine, and best friends with eighteen-year-old Gabby.
  • Out Sick: In "Lightning Flu Blues" and "Sam's Promise", Elvis is unable to deal with any of the episodes' emergencies due to being in bed with the flu.

Penny Morris

Penny Morris is a firefighter for the rescue service.

  • Action Girl: She's the designated muscle of the fire service.

  • Damsel in Distress: In "Bronwyn's Helper", Bronwyn gets stuck on her cafe's roof and needs the fire service to get her down.
  • Sanity Slippage: Played for Laughs in "Potato Queen Bronwyn"; she starts to lose her mind trying to prepare for the Spud Buddies Festival, and gets everything mixed up, including family trees (she mistakenly refers to Gabby as Norman's sister, when they are not related).
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Bronwyn's is Bella's homemade spaghetti sauce. She also loves maritozzi.

    Gabby McGraw

Gabriella Nancy McGraw

Gabby McGraw is a cook for the Wholefish Cafe.

  • Ancestral Name: In the game, she mentions that the women in her family get their middle names from their grandmothers, and that her future daughter will have the middle name of Millicent. Word of God mentions that Gabby's middle name is Nancy, presumably after her maternal grandmother and Millicent McGraw's mother.
  • Bare Midriffs Are Feminine: Inverted; despite being the tomboy to Svetlana's Girly Girl, Gabby's the one to wear a midriff-revealing swimsuit in "Sarah's Mermaid Adventure".
  • Canon Foreigner: Exclusive to this series.
  • Color-Coded Characters: Gabby is associated with pink and orange.

  • In-Series Nickname: Very rarely is Gabby called by her full name, Gabriella.
  • Intergenerational Friendship: Outside of Svetlana, there isn't anyone else in Gabby's age range around town; as such, there's at least a decade of age difference between her and her three closest friends, Elvis (eleven years), Bronwyn (twelve years), and Norman (ten years).
  • Official Couple: With Svetlana.
  • Queer Establishing Moment: In "Valentine's Daze", she lets it slip to Elvis that she's a lesbian. Later on, she gets together with Svetlana.

    Svetlana Blomgren

Svetlana Blomgren

  • Canon Foreigner: Exclusive to this series.
  • City Mouse: She's not using to roughing it in the outdoors, nor does she like getting dirty. In "How Not to Camp", she's brought along to a camping trip and gets completely filthy, but she enjoys it and vows that she will go camping more often.
  • Damsel in Distress: In "Valentine's Daze", she chokes on a scallop and needs Gabby to give her the Heimlich.
  • A Day in the Limelight: She's the main focus of "Svetlana Gets a Job", where she becomes a waitress at Bella's cafe.

  • Heroes Love Dogs: Svetlana is a kindhearted woman who adores dogs and puppies.
  • In-Series Nickname: The older adult characters tend to call her Lana.
  • Lethal Chef: The most Svetlana can cook for herself is basic sandwiches; any more complicated, and she's completely hopeless. She even managed to start a fire just while monitoring a boiling pot.

  • Official Couple: With Gabby.
