Arc Number: 15. Aside from the obvious riff on Area 51, each of their birthdays are on the 15th as are their monthly Area 15 collabs.
Cast Herd: The three of them made their debuts within a 3-day span in April 2020 and they frequently collab with each other. Previously, they also all lived in the same dorm for a while after joining hololive.
Deadpan Snarker: All of them are absolutely savage on their Twitter accounts when dealing with any sort of ill founded criticism. While it does get to them to some extent like it does to all the talent, they're typically the ones who will confront it with a disingenuous apology and comment on how their audience should be the ones in charge of their streams instead of them.
Honorary True Companion: Lyrica, an independent Filipino v-tuber, was a regular collaborator with holoID. invokedThere was overlap between fans of holoID and fans of Lyrica and even Moona invited her to be a part of HoloID. Lyrica chose to remain independent but was willing to take the offer if a hololive SEA is established in the future.
No Sense of Direction: They ALL get lost in open world games pretty often, something they're keenly aware of when together.
Pun: Each of the hololive ID so far has a fanbase name homophonous with another word in English or Indonesian. Risu has Risuners ("listeners") and Prisuners ("prisoners") for her members, Moona has Moonafic ("munafik" - Indonesian for hypocrite), and Iofi has IOFORIA ("euphoria").
Third-Person Person: Sometimes refer to themselves by name.

Alter-Ego Acting: Discussed by her in response to the notion that VTubers are "like wrestling". She reassures the viewers that what they see is her being as real as she can possibly be, possibly even more so than how she would act offline thanks to the anonymity of a digital avatar.
Animal Motifs: Squirrels.
Birthday Buddies: She and Oga share a birthday and frequently collaborate. On January 15, 2021 (their first birthdays since their debuts), they released two separate versions of the same song, one with Risu as the lead singer and one with Oga, and in July 2022 they released an original song together.
Cloudcuckoolander: Much like Moona mentioned below, Risu's Twitter account is... something else, she will often tweet incredibly random stuff than can range from the lyrics of "Bury the Light" to this:

Contralto of Strength: While Risu has Helium Speech, Ayunda's voice is noticeably deeper, mainly due to her being a powerful witch.
Covert Pervert: Downplayed. Although she isn't as perverted compared to other Hololive girls, Risu is quite "cultured" in R18 topics and may frequently do innuendos. That being said, according to Risu herself, her case is actually an aversion as she never really had the intention of making her character look innocent.
Risu: It's actually not my intention to make myself look this "seiso", I'm sorry for uh, for making you misunderstood. But I kind of enjoy it though, like most people see that and say "oh that girl is so cute, she looks so, so, so seiso" and then bam! NNN.
Cute, but Cacophonic: Despite the cute appearance and voice, she can give Ollie a run for her money when screaming.
Cute Witch: As seen in their 3rd 2D outfit reveal stream, Ayunda is one of these, complete with a cute witch hat.
A Day in the Limelight: In April 2021, she started a short series of soundboard material videos called "All Ayunda April", where every video is voiced by Ayunda rather than Risu.
Deadpan Snarker: She has a talent for making lewd jokes and referencing memes with a deadpan delivery.
A Dog Named "Dog": "Risu" means "squirrel" in Japanese.
Drives Like Crazy: She is completely oblivious to her surroundings while driving a truck in Euro Truck Simulator 2, crashing onto people and cars along the way.
Fangirl: She's a huge Korone fangirl. Even way back in her debut stream, she's always wanted to collab with her. The first time Korone chats on one of her streams, Risu goes absolutely nuts for nearly the remainder of the stream.
Genki Girl: She exudes enthusiasm and liveliness, bringing a vibrant and energetic presence to her streams.
Hidden Buxom: Risu's breasts are often covered up with a jacket on stream and she doesn't really draw attention to their size, but she's actually very well endowed. Ollie shares that her squirrel senpai is very bouncy in real life and once did a power move on her where she placed her breasts on a table just to emphasize how large they are.
Hour of Power: Month, actually. Risu's full power is only ever unleashed once per year during No Nut November (or, after her takeover of the event, Non-stop Nut November). Her Risuners often anticipate the month's arrival with bated breath and then lament its ending come December.
Irony: During her introduction stream, she mentions wanting to do a collab with Korone, but she herself is very afraid of dogs. In fact, during said stream, her neighbor's dog started barking.
Little Bit Beastly: Has squirrel ears and a hard to miss squirrel tail. Much like Pekora, she actually also has human ears behind her bangs. She explains this as a side effect of transforming from a squirrel to human.
Loves the Sound of Screaming: She's rather enthusiastic about putting people into the Geese Chamber.

Meaningful Name: As discussed in her debut stream, her name pretty much translates to "pretty squirrel".
Motor Mouth: She can talk rapidly and express herself with a flurry of words, adding to her lively and energetic persona.
Precision F-Strike:
- Just like the other Holo ID girls Risu avoids cursing most of the time, but she once dropped the "s" word in a Coffee Talk stream.
  Risu: That's some, NTR shit right there you know?
- On another occasion, she played Undertale for the first time on stream, but having already played the game before in her life, she was familiar with it and reminisced about her previous experiences a lot. Including her first encounter with Flowey the Flower.
  Risu: And this... this motherfucker.
Refuge in Audacity: Towards the end of October 2020, she made a tweet suggesting "Nonstop Nut November", as opposed to the internet challenge "No Nut November" where the participants are to refrain from masturbating for the whole month. What would have been a one-off joke evolved into a month-long mini-series where Risu would upload daily short videos where she checks on her audience's progress on Nonstop Nut November, teasing them with nut-based innuendos constantly. By popular demand, it returned the following November as well.
Screwball Squirrel: She's absolutely not above leaning into The Gadfly territory, from making nut jokes (NNN or otherwise) to doing decidedly un-idol-like things (such as spending several parts of a Meme Review stream teaching Kobo risqué phrases), helped along by her signature squirrel laugh.
Signature Laugh: She has a high-pitched wheezy laugh.
Split-Personality Makeover: Before Ayunda received her own outfit in October 2021, her usual deep voice is often accompanied by a 'Risu' with long hair to indicate her presence. This can most promptly be seen in her All Ayunda April series, Ayunda-exclusive streams and her cover of "Snow halation".
Start of Darkness: Played for Laughs. When a viewer donated $1,000, she hears her notification go off, and cringes so badly and laughs uncontrollably that she declares it her villain arc.
Risu: This is the start of my villain arc! There'll be no good Risu. I'll be a villain! There is no laughing starting from today! There'll only be UwU Risu! (laughs anyway)
Sweet Tooth: Her love for sweets is often expressed through discussions or indulging in snacks during her streams.
Symbiotic Possession: In her 100k Subs Special video, Ayunda was revealed to be a witch who transferred her soul into the body of her squirrel familiar in order to escape a Witch Hunt. As seen in many of her streams, Ayunda and Risu are on good-terms, with one being able to call upon the other when needed.
Team Mom: Risu's role as a supportive and caring figure for her genmates, as well as her strictness in maintaining chat conduct, positions her as a motherly figure within her community.
The Tease: Her relaxation stream has her rest her "normal" voice after a long day of attending as a guest star of CSS, resulting in her speaking in her "onee-san" voice (later revealed to be Ayunda). Well aware of how her audience reacts, she plays up this voice for all it's worth any chance she gets.
Ayunda: [Reading SC] Shoulders, deep voice, in bed, intimate. So, do you want to get intimate? Do you want to get intimate? I can get intimate.
Trrrilling Rrrs: She has a tendency to drop these several times.
Verbal Tic: She has a habit of making a "Brrrrr" noise when she's frustrated, nervous, or bored. This gets exaggerated in a stream where she deliberately "brrrrrr"s the viewers every sentence.
Vocal Dissonance: While she generally sounds like what you expect from an anime squirrel girl, she also speaks/sings in an unexpectedly deep and mature voice. The fanbase calls her deep voice "Ayunda mode". This was later made into official lore as of her "100k Subs Special! Can Oneesan be an Idol Too?" video.
Vocal Evolution: Beyond her enormous vocal range, Risu's initial "default" speaking voice was very high-pitched and traditionally "cutesy", while later on she became more comfortable speaking in a smoother, distinctly lower tone of voice (compare how she speaks in her debut to her reaction video a year later). Risu has commented that it's a matter of what feels most natural to her at any given time, and has joked that perhaps her voice is "seasonal".
Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: She is terrified of ghosts and bad with horror games. However, she will still play horror games if her viewers request them, although she will scream and probably cry.
Woman of a Thousand Voices: She has an absolutely gigantic vocal range, going from high-pitched, to deep, to everything in between. In addition, she can do numerous accents in those voices, including ones you wouldn't expect from an Indonesian person. She can also pull off a downright operatic singing voice in any of those pitches. This was demonstrated spectacularly at Link Your Wish, where she utterly stunned everyone with her performance. A lot of people started calling her the Celine Dion of Hololive, and even Suisei - who is regarded as one of the best singers in the entire company - wants to learn from her. Risu was so shocked and touched at this that she reiterated how much she looks up to Suisei, is now worried that she's set the bar too high for herself, and that she still wants to try singing different genres.
You Didn't See That: During her Holiday Free Talk stream, she accidentally spoiled future content, which led to this moment.

Bait-and-Switch: Posted on her Twitter that she graduated (all in capital letters) but quickly clarifies in the same sentence that she meant graduating from college.
Big Eater: She has a notably large appetite; she once stated on Twitter that she ate 12 pieces of fried chicken in a single sitting.
Brutal Honesty: She doesn't beat around the bush and says exactly what she wants to.
The Cameo: Moona made a brief appearance on Mana Renewal's stream while the latter was playing on a Russian Minecraft server, teasing at the collabs the two would have a week afterward.

Clingy Jealous Girl: Played for Laughs. Moona did not take seeing Pekora and Kiara together in Minecraft well and needed Pekora to talk her out of outright killing Kiara. Later that session she mocked Kiara for dying to a firework mid-air. It was later revealed that the entire sequence was improv and that Moona just wanted to play some Minecraft not realizing that Pekora and Kiara were playing together, let alone doing a collab stream.

- Her Twitter account is... interesting, to say the least. She often muses about very obvious things that are complete nonsense when thinking about them, often delving into Ice-Cream Koan territory; she often uses the hashtag RandoMoona when voicing these thoughts.
  Moona: so... did you know it when you clean out the vacuum cleaner, you become a vacuum cleaner?
- She once posted a 7 second video simply titled "I’M MAD." where the whole video is just her being mad that she can't see her own forehead.
Cool Aunt: Moona has a young niece who has wandered in on her streams a couple times, and happily devotes part of her attention to babysitting the little girl.
Cosmic Motifs: Stars and the moon. She has glittering stars floating around her hair, and her name is Moona.
Cute and Psycho: She expresses nothing but glee when she gets to bash zombies with melee weapons in Left 4 Dead. She outright laughs when she gets her hands on a stack of Coca Cola bottles and a chainsaw.

D-Cup Distress: During her first Ring Fit Adventure stream, she comments that her breasts are a little bit too big and suggests she should have put on a second sports bra, because she had to hold onto her chest during the running segments of the game.

Moona: [replying to a Twitter comment from someone who unceremoniously insulted her] I'm sorry. I don't know what are you talking about. I don't speak Assholian.
Deity of Human Origin:
- Her explanation to Mana Renewal is that Moona possessed Hoshinova just before she fell into the sea. Because of the full moon's presence, they both ascended into Moon Goddesses.
- Even after the change that made Hoshinova have always been a Moon Goddess, this is technically true, as Moona - now a mortal girl - plays host to a divine entity and thus carries some measure of divine power.
"Dinner, Bath, or Sex" Offer: Subverted and parodied here, when she started saying the standard line in a low and teasing voice, but at the last moment replaced "watashi" with "wasabi", followed by a self-satisfied laugh and clapping.
The Diva: At Link Your Wish, she did an absolutely stunning rendition of "High Tide." It was immediately regarded by fans and members alike as one of, if not the best performances of Day 1. The combination of her excellent singing, sultry choreography, and dominating stage presence earned her tons of praise from the other members, who likened her to a professional artist or diva.
Double Entendre:
- While Moona herself isn't above this on occasion, if her comment on her "melons" in her Raft stream is any indication, Hoshinova is anything but subtle about this. In the stream where "she" made herself known, she drops this gem:
  Hoshinova: I don't know why, but it's getting wet right here... don't you think? I'm getting wet right here. ^Context
- She once popped into Amelia's stream chat during the latter's playthrough of Super Mario Odyssey to fire off a very long series of these based on what Amelia was doing.
Early-Installment Weirdness: Before it was established that Moona was in a Symbiotic Possession relationship with the Moon Goddess Hoshinova, the names of both personalities were inverted; the goddess was Moona, while the university student / model was Hoshinova.
Embarrassing Nickname: Moonaroh, and both Risu and Iofi (and one time Miyu Ottavia) have teased her about that.
The Engineer: When she became addicted to Minecraft, not even a month later she already began learning and experimenting with redstone to the point where even Pekora, one of the most experienced Minecraft players in hololive, is taken aback upon seeing what she was able to achieve. For the record, Moona has not only built a huge and absurdly well-decorated house, replicated a giant Indonesian monument, and done tons of sophisticated landscaping in the surrounding area, but she has also created all kinds of automated farms and a mechanical staircase that Pekora herself has admitted that she knows nothing about. This impressed Pekora so much that she dropped her usual I Work Alone stance and hired Moona to work at Usada Construction on the spot.
Pekora: This technology level is too high... right?
Face of a Thug: Downplayed. While not overtly menacing, her aunt has pointed out on a few occasions that her normal expression is a "serious face", making her appear to be The Stoic. She speculates that this may have been the reason why YAGOO enthusiastically gave her a job in hololive in the first place.
Fangirl: Of Spongebob Squarepants, and she sometimes drops some references to the cartoon whether on her streams or her short videos. She even sung "Ripped Pants" for her debut stream.
Friendless Background: On her birthday stream she talked about how she only had 1 friend before joining Hololive, and how Hololive (and vtubing business in general) helped her make friends from around the world, Holo and non-Holo alike.
Girls Love Stuffed Animals: Has a stuffed penguin named Pororo that she's very protective of.
Chat member: Pororo kinda dirty lmao.
Moona: Pororo is not dirty! No, no he's not dirty! How could you be so rude to my Pororo!?
Hidden Depths: Has a surprisingly well-honed sense against deception. When fans were trying to get all the hololive girls to say invokedHi Honey, she decided she was not going to say it, and subsequently dodged nearly every clever attempt to trick her into saying it by accident. Fans have since labeled her a Worthy Opponent and predict that she may well end up being the last one standing of hololive when it comes to avoiding the "Hi Honey Virus"; indeed, when she was finally tricked successfully the attempt was so subtle neither Moona or other individuals in the chat realize what it really was.
Hyper-Competent Sidekick: As the sole employee of Usada Construction for the longest time before its expansion, Moona is this to Pekora, having blown her boss away with her incredible understanding of redstone and mob farming, and even rebuilding the Usada Hotel twice and doing the interior design of Pekora's new house after the original was destroyed by lighting. While Pekora generally knows more about farming materials, when it comes to designing new buildings Pekora usually gets demoted to finding materials somewhere along the building process, as Pekora admits once Moona starts building something it's better to just let her do it on her own. Miko uses this to annoy Pekora by always calling Moona the real CEO of Usada Construction.
Pekora: PEKORA IS THE CEO, NOT MOONA!
If It's You, It's Okay: Moona tends to react with annoyance whenever someone tries to imitate Pekora's memorable "HEY MOONA!", whether it's her fans spamming the chat◊ or even her fellow talents. The only person who's always allowed to address her as such is, predictably, Pekora. Okayu also addressed her as such when they met after the 4th holofes., but this time, the goddess is more than willing to chat with the cat.
Impossible Hourglass Figure: If her measurements are to be believed. She even assured Ollie that no, it's not a joke, she's completely serious about it. Naturally, Ollie didn't take it well.

I'm Standing Right Here: Kobo once had a chat with Reine about Moona, who was sitting right next to the latter and overheard the entire conversation, before the former had an Oh, Crap! moment of realization a good ten minutes later. Subverted in that Moona herself didn't actually make her presence known like the typical examples.
Instant Expert: In Minecraft, she managed to build a huge and absurdly well-decorated house and replicated a giant Indonesian monument, did tons of sophisticated landscaping in the surrounding area, and also created all kinds of automated farms and a mechanical staircase in less than a month after being introduced to the game.
LOL, 69: Moona has a certain fascination with the number 69, which is often reflected in her player IDs in numerous games. Incidentally, this also ended up inspiring a similar obsession in Kaela, who admitted to just finding it funny for no particular reason.
Lyrical Dissonance: Perisai Jitu has a very happy and poppy beat which clashes hard with the the dark and depressing lyrics.
Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: Her leaving Akukin Construction for Usada Construction is partially because, according to her, Akukin apparently doesn't pay their employees.
Morality Pet: While she may not be aware of it, she's this to Pekora. Out of all the Hololive members on the Japan server Pekora doesn't prank her and makes every effort to help her, as well as try to speak English to make it easier for her. Moona herself was even nervous at first that she was going to be spontaneously blown up.
Motif Merger: The official Usada Kensetsu logo features Pekora's rabbit and carrot motifs with a purple moon in the back for Moona.
No Guy Wants to Be Chased: She refuses to count Ollie as one of her wives because the zombie is just too into her.
Not What I Signed Up For: While Moona did apply to hololive with an intention of becoming an idol, she thought she was applying for an Idol Singer role and didn't found out about the streaming aspect of a hololive idol until much later on. When asked about her first impressions of hololive in one Area 15 stream, she jokingly said that she felt scammed because they became stand-up comedians instead.
Odd Friendship: With Pekora. Both of them are very introverted on the Minecraft server and generally worked alone. They also have a language barrier as Moona's ability in Japanese and Pekora's ability in English are quite lacking. Despite all of these factors they became really good friends to the point that Pekora shares her building plans to Moona, and both of them can be frequently seen in each other's Minecraft streams.
Ordinary High-School Student: Or rather university student. Compared to the rest of hololive ID, she's just a (seemingly) regular girl, with her multi-colored hair and floating stars being her only unusual physical traits (both of which could be attributed to the Moon Goddess).
The Perfectionist: Moona has a keen attention to detail and takes her time to make sure she's doing something exactly as she wants it. She shows a commitment to delivering high-quality content and ensuring that everything meets her standards.
Perpetual Frowner: Her default expression typically does not smile in contrast to her fellow talents.
Physical God: She is a moon goddess, though she isn't as well known as other mythological moon gods due to being an indie.
Precision F-Strike: Drops the word "bullshit" in "Who's Toxic? It's You!"
Pungeon Master: She makes and posts a lot of pun-based jokes on her twitter.
Reality Warper: As revealed in her HoloGra debut, Moona's status as a Moon Goddess allows her to warp reality, making it so anything she says will become true, such as La+'s horns being made of Styrofoam.
"The Reason You Suck" Speech: Or song, rather. She does this to the toxic antis in "Who's Toxic? It's You!"

Right for the Wrong Reasons: Not only but twice. During the February 11, 2021 Holostars x Hololive ID Among Us collab she rightfully called Arurandeisu and Roberu as the impostors, however for wrong reasons. For Aruran she saw him next to the electrical and assumed he killed Risu (when it was actually Roberu) and with Roberu she saw a glitch which made it look he vented (when he wasn't even close to a vent when it happened).
Signature Laugh: Her chirpy laughter, which fans have compared to a dolphin's. She also does a lunatic laugh when she makes fun of someone or killing other players in Minecraft on a whim, as Ollie and Reine can attest to.
Split Personality: Her "Full Moon" personality, who often refers to herself as Hoshinova rather than Moona, is this. Hoshinova, compared to her normal "Eclipsed" personality, speaks in a more lower tone of voice that's considered menacing and alluring, and showcases a more sadistic and flirty side. Later, it was revealed that Moona and Hoshinova were separate beings before merging (see Symbiotic Possession below).
Shrinking Violet: While she's normally confident when dealing with fans or random people on social media, creating personal connections are extremely hard for her to the point where Iofi was worried that she wouldn't be able to make friends when she first met her. That started to change after she met Pekora. After crying over worrying about her presence bothering Pekora during a potential collab, Moona was told by Iofi that through meeting Pekora, both hers and Moona's love for each other transcended the language barrier and changed them both for the better.
Iofi: I'm happy for your that you finally found your friends and your happiness, your place. I was kind of worried for a moment that you can not make friends, but finally you found Pekora-senpai.
Stealth Hi/Bye: She has a tendency to randomly show up on hololive JP's Minecraft server. She'll return greetings when greeted, then she disappears just as randomly as she showed up. Fans have humorously taken to treating her as The Cameo, a Recurring Extra, or a Non-Player Character for hololive JP streams of the game. She's even done it to a non-hololive V-Tuber, Mana Renewal.
Stellar Name: There's the obvious "Moon" in her first name, and her last name is "Hoshi" (meaning star) and "Nova".
Stepford Smiler: Her third original song Perisai Jitu is about the stress of being a famous Vtuber, constantly asked/demanded to give more then she can, but how she can only respond with a smile and telling people she is fine.
Supernatural Gold Eyes: Moona's Technicolor Eyes features gold mixed with purple, the former color signifying the goddess Hoshinova living on through her. They predominently glow yellow when Hoshinova is the dominant personality, as seen in the MV for "High Tide" and when she sang the aformentioned song in her 3D Showcase.

Symbiotic Possession: Similar to Risu, she is also possessed by a supernatural entity. In her case, the moon goddess Hoshinova lives on through Moona, the former resurfacing on occasion. ^note

Affectionate Nickname: Often referred to as Yopi or Yopipi by her branchmates and Indonesian fans. The nickname was derived on how Sundanese people often pronounce an "f" like a "p", hence "Yopi" from "Iofi".
Beware the Nice Ones: She's a Nice Girl through and through, but she won't hesitate to scold or even humiliate those who don't follow the rules in her stream, like that one commenter in her Minecraft stream (see Shamed by a Mob below) and a spammer during her Bang Dream stream.
Big Sister Instinct: It's extremely unlikely for any of the hololive ID to be actually related, but nonetheless Iofi exhibits this trope. During one of Iofi and Moona's collabs for Apex Legends Iofi is goofing around with her newly formed army consisting of viewers when Moona asks for help, at which point Iofi immediately stops playing around and quickly rushes to look for Moona, her voice raised and her tone serious.

Punny Name: Airani Iofifteen. Her first name is a corruption of "area". Her last name is fifteen with "Io" attached. Fifteen in reverse is fifty-one. In other words, Area 51.
Put on a Bus: On July 21, 2021, Iofi was confirmed to have contracted COVID-19. An official press release stated that she was taking a break from streaming. After she recovered and was given the all-clear to resume, she returned to streaming on August 7th.
