Mythbreakers is the name for the Hunter: The Vigil campaign played by Hololive -Myth-. Calliope Mori is the Game Master.

A playlist of Mythbreakers streams can be found here note , while their initial character sheets can be found here.

Player Characters

    open/close all folders

    The group as a whole
  • Anachronic Order: The tutorial sessions, which were ordered Tiara, Yuul, Watoto, and Scout. Scout, her sister, and Doctor Nice arrived at the bar first. They were followed shortly by Vic and a wounded Yuul. Almost immediately after that, Watoto makes it to the bar with Kid. A day later, Vic heads to the bird shop, where he meets and recruits Tiara.
  • Author Avatar: All four of the Player Characters have various elements of the girls themselves thrown in, some more obvious than others. Additionally, someone similar to invokedJ-chad appears as an NPC.
  • Badass Normal: As is typical for Hunters.
  • Heroic Comedic Sociopath: Everyone is this in regards to how they treat NPCs except Watoto. Tiara and Scout are the worst offenders with regularly threatening violence and, in some instances, mutilation. Yuul is less so but has ran over an innocent man with a van for the sake of her Masters degree. That man would have been dead if he weren't a vampire and even went on to save Yuul's life but later Yuul playfully asks if she can test out a taser on him.
  • Item Crafting: All four characters have the Crafts skill.
  • Ragtag Bunch of Misfits: A foreign gunslinging falconer, a tired grad student working for a morally ambiguous professor, a goblinish Cloudcuckoolander herbalist who suspects the government is behind everything, and an illiterate metalworking farmhand all meet up after an encounter with the supernatural.

    Yuul B. Alwright

Yuul B. Alwright

Player: Ina'nis Ninomae
Age: 26
Height: 165 cm (5'5")

  • Accidental Truth: After a series of telling lies to Antonio of the Crimson Manor, Yuul is about to tell Antonio the actual item that the party took from the house. She was saved by Watoto, who chimed in "Flail!" before Yuul was able to utter the item, Yuul reluctantly agreed.
  • Action Survivor: Barely survives her first major encounter in the prologue, going into the actual session already about to die.
  • Bad Liar: Yuul finds it troubling to lie to Antonio in the multiple instances of speaking to him, such as when Yuul tried to frame a waiter for muttering "prego," despite it being Scout (Antonio called her out right after the fact). She also struggled to be untruthful when talking to Antonio about stealing the ledger (see Accidental Truth above).
  • Beleaguered Assistant: Would much rather do anything else but participate in Dr. Oopsie's insane (and sometimes dangerous) experiments, but is required to assist her as part of her Graduates program.
  • Car Fu: Between her Aggressive Driving specialty and her Roadkill Merit, Yuul is set up to use this.
  • Determinator: Despite her close-to-fatal wounds, barely being conscious and needing medical help, Yuul is able to drive away from the Hookhand slasher despite driving with a flat tire.
  • Easily Forgiven: Yuul runs over Vic to silence him, but he still patches her up when she collapses after escaping the Hookhand slasher and the two get some pizza once they're safe.
  • Humans Are the Real Monsters: Believes that "monsters can’t be as scary or dark as the components of human society".
  • The Insomniac: Has this as a Flaw and defining character trait. Her character design has a shirt that says "Let Me Sleep" and a teary-eyed sleep mask perpetually on her head to reflect this.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong: In Session 4, when Madam M. asked if the Myth Breakers were busy, Yuul responds with a definite "Yes," which is instantly contradicted by Tiara's "No."
  • Ironic Name: Considering her name is a pun on "You'll Be Alright", it's a little ironic she's the player character that takes by far the most damage during their introduction session, is heading into the RP proper already at critical health, and probably wouldn't have survived at all if not for Calli taking mercy on Ina for the tutorial.
  • Mad Scientist: She is the assistant to one, Dr. Oopsie. However the professor is a hermit and doesn't make a lot of appearances outside of lectures, so Yuul has to take the credit for many of her works - which means she gets labeled as one instead.
  • My Master, Right or Wrong: While she had initial doubts, she follows Dr. Oopsie's orders to Leave No Witnesses and run Vic over.
  • Murder Is the Best Solution: Apparently what her running Vic over was; Calli clarified in her recap stream that Dr. Oopsie had only meant for Yuul to make the janitor leave, not murder him.
  • Plot Armor: Ina's tutorial session almost resulted in Yuul being killed by a Hook Hand slasher, but some distant gunshots distracted the monster long enough for Yuul to fall unconscious and wake up to find Vic stabilizing her injuries.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Almost literally. According to the tutorial recap stream, Dr. Oopsie was urging Yuul to get into the school instead of issuing a kill order. Considering her insistence on Yuul making sure that nobody knows she's there and getting rid of the janitor despite continued protests, it's not hard to see how the exchange was misinterpreted.
  • Punny Name: As expected from Ina.
  • Skewed Priorities: The first thing she asks upon waking up from her injuries is a large pizza.
  • Sucks at Dancing: Yuul, as she attempted to dance along with the chant that the Mad Jester Clan were singing.
  • Teacher's Pet: Yuul is officially Dr. Oopsie's assistant, so she is reluctantly is seen as one by the more envious students.
  • Sloth: Her Vice.

    Tiara

Tiara

Player: Kiara Takanashi

  • A Dog Named "Dog": Subverted. Her owl's name is Uhu, which is the German word for "eagle-owl". However, according to one of Kiara's tweets, Uhu is actually a snow owl mixed with some of her fantasy elements.
  • The Beastmaster: Specifically, owls and crows.
  • The Big Guy: While (probably) not physically larger than the other characters, she has more dots in combat skills than the rest of the party combined. In the first session, she does most of the work pushing the car half a kilometer with Yuul still inside.
  • Critical Failure: In her one chance to use her sharpshooter skills to take down a threatening target with her guns during session 2, she rolled 8d10>8 and scored zero successes. She didn't score any actual failure rolls, but her shot ended up scarring Yuul across the cheek. All while imbued with a concoction that improved her agility and dexterity.
  • Expy: A foreigner that loves and can talk to birds, has a close relationship with a male family member, and whose name ends in -iara...Where have we heard that one before?
  • Tampering with Food and Drink: Tiara asks Kid to fill an empty soda bottle with an acidic substance.
  • The Gunslinger: Has four dots in the Firearms skill (the other three have one between them), as well as the Gunslinger specialty, as well as multiple gun-related Merits.
  • Hopeless with Tech: Kiara specifically mentioned that Tiara doesn't know how to use her phone, except for taking cute pictures of her birds.
  • Loyal Animal Companion: While she lives with many birds, her most prominent companion who follows her wherever she goes is her owl Uhu. When he gets kidnapped during her prologue chapter, she goes on a rampage to find him.
  • Memento MacGuffin: Her phoenix pendant, given to her by her brother. In her tutorial session alone, she dreams of her brother telling her not to lose it and that someday he'll show her how to use it, a group of vampires captures her owl Uhu, thinking that he can lead them to the pendant, and both they and the mysterious woman at the end imply Tiara's brother is well-known in the Hunter community.
  • Pride: Her Vice.
  • Secret Word: Tiara comes up with the codeword "Lingonberry Jam" in order to let Bertha know that the Mythbreakers were talking, and not their Doppelgangers. Later played for laughs, as Lingonberries are being served in the drinks at the carnival (making the secret word not as powerful or secret as Tiara thought).
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: With birds, specifically.
  • Verbal Tic: "Ara" as hers, according to Kiara, much like how Pekora has "peko" for herself.
  • You No Take Candle: Deliberately invokes this kind of speech when getting grilled by her landlord for money in order to gain some sympathy points. Her actual fluency is fine, though her Verbal Tic can sometimes come across to NPCs as strange.

    Watoto

Watoto

Player: Amelia Watson
Age: Unknown
Height: 134.5 cm (4'6")

  • Absurd Phobia: Session 4. When getting briefed as to what the mission at the carnival might entail, Watoto reveals that he is afraid of Clowns. Not clowns, exactly, though. He is afraid of the antenna that clowns hide in their nose.
  • Ambiguous Gender: During the time that passed between the original character creation stream and her tutorial stream, Amelia referred to Watoto with gender-neutral "they/them" pronouns, as she's stated that she wants to encourage fans to be creative with how they depict Watoto. During said tutorial stream, however, Watoto's proper character sheet shows that his sex is male, and father Watoto refers to him as his son.
  • Ambiguously Human: Officially listed as a Human on Amelia's character sheet, but Watoto's skin is described as having a greenish hue and Watoto displays goblin-like behaviors. There's also his Vague Age and the fact that he is quite short, over a foot shorter than the average height of 5'9" for a fully grown American man.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Loses a leg in the battle against his possessed Wyrmtoto self in the finale, which does not grow back when he is freed.
  • Animal Lover: Like Amelia herself. He was moved by the plight of the werewolves in the Magadon complex, brought the two Watoto family guard dogs with him when he fled home, coos over Kid's dog Homewrecker, and his first reaction to Tiara's owl Uhu is to try to pet it.
  • Anything but That!: In Session 2, when needing to decide which path to take in The Hedge, Yuul suggested to flip Watoto (like one would flip a coin). Watoto responded, "No, please! I'm scared of heights!"
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Despite being the most outlandish member, Watoto's has managed to pull off some rather incredible feats up through the luck of Amelia's rolls. Examples include successfully negotiating a sale of a firearm in exchange for his mushrooms, building a bomb out of mushrooms, crafting a functioning high-frequency sound gun, acquiring van engine parts by dismantling a television, and completely and instantly destroying an elaborate environmental trap Calli had set for the party with a critical success by breathing fire after swallowing gasoline and using a lighter.
  • Conspiracy Theorist: Described as a "conspiracy theorist who wants to dismantle the system" by Ame. Watoto has an inherent distrust of the government. Whenever something mysterious occurred in his prologue, Watoto's first instinct is to suspect the government is onto him.
  • Cloudcuckoo Lander: Amelia is committed to Watoto's thought process to be fairly unpredictable.
  • Cross Player: A male character played by the female Amelia.
  • Deal with the Devil: Makes a deal with the Wyrm during the tutorial session, and becomes a servant to the Wyrm.
  • Demonic Possession: The Wyrm finally makes good on their deal, and seizes control of his body in the finale. He gets better.
  • Depending on the Artist: Unlike Yuul, Tiara, and Scout, Watoto lacks a definitive character designnote . As such, art of Watoto can vary wildly between artists.
  • EmPHAsis On The Wrong SylLAble: The pronunciation of his name has been slightly inconsistent, with both "wa-TO-to" and "WA-to-to" having seen use.
  • Face–Heel Turn: After ultimately failing a roll to resist the urges that the Crimson Manor's Master Bedroom brought upon him, Watoto temporarily turned into a foe before Tiara talked him out of attacking her with the Animal Ken skill.
  • Five-Finger Discount: Has the Larceny skill, with a Pickpocket specialty.
  • Forced Transformation: Upon possession by the Wyrm, although he recovers with The Power of Friendship.
  • Greed: His Vice.
  • Ground Pound: Has this as a Merit.
  • Healing Herb: Has the Holistic Awareness merit, which allows for treating wounds with flora.
  • In the Blood: Watoto is the child of mother Watoto and father Watoto. The entire family loves explosives and can tolerate the stench of the "smelly mushrooms" Watoto sells at the market. There's also a subtle implication they see their family lineage as divine, as they pray to "Watoto" before eating a meal in the same way some families would give thanks to God.
Calli: There is no "amen", just "Watoto".
  • MacGyvering: Is proficient enough with item crafting and tinkering to make things work out of ingredients that really shouldn't work together. In the tutorial session, he made a bomb powerful enough enough to level a factory using one of his home-grown mushrooms.
  • Mad Bomber: Loves to create bombs and make stuff go boom.
  • Magic Countdown: In his prologue, Watoto set a bomb with a 10-second timer, only for it to finally detonate after 3 real-world minutes. In that time, Watoto negotiated and became a servant of the Wyrm.
  • Last-Name Basis: Possibly. Watoto's mother and father are referred to as "Mother Watoto" and "Father Watoto" respectively, and in the tutorial session, Father Watoto refers to their bloodline as "us Watotos" when referring to a particular trait the family all shares.
  • Pokémon Speak: Watoto has a tendency to speak like this. During a Watoto family prayer, the family just says Watoto and repeats "to" over and over.
  • Saved by a Terrible Performance: Watoto tried to use his sound gun on some guard dogs patrolling a hedge maze with the intent of stunning them or driving them away. Amelia's rolls were neither successes or critical failures, so the sound gun made the dogs happy instead.
  • Terse Talker: Watoto isn't very verbose, only saying what must be said. This extends to Amelia herself, who doesn't go into lengthy detail when Calli asks what she wants to do next. See You No Take Candle below.
  • The Nose Knows: Many of his perception checks take the form of Watoto smelling something in the air and gaining information from that alone.
  • The One Guy: The only male player character of the Mythbreakers.
  • Third-Person Person: Watoto sometimes speaks in the third person when talking to others.
  • Tinfoil Hat:
    • Watoto never leaves home without it. He never knows when the government may be listening.
    • Exaggerated with the Watoto family's trailer, which has a lot foil integrated into it.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Because of his debt to the Wyrm, Watoto will inevitably have to act in its interests to sow chaos and destruction in order to pay back the favor it's owed. The only thing in question is how much chaos will ensue from this single act. The Wyrm ultimately takes his payment into its own hands, as Watoto is forced to pay the price of control of his own body.
  • Token Good Teammate: In addition to the above. As mentioned in the group's tropes, while the rest of the player characters come across as varying levels of Heroic Comedic Sociopath, Watoto tends to treat the NPCs with more compassion, even going out of his way to try and keep children safe in session 4.
  • Vague Age: His age is listed as unknown.
  • You No Take Candle: Not to the extent of other examples, but Watoto often speaks in simple Rorshach-like sentences that are either one word or lack proper articles. See Terse Talker, above.

    Scout from Belt-Buckle

Scout

Player: Gura Gawr
Age: 18
Height: 168 cm (5'6")

  • Animal Disguise: Scout orders a mascot's suit that Kid found in the dumpster. It is a giant, orange character named Brash Candicoot.
  • The Blacksmith: Honed her skills by forging horseshoes, but taught herself how to forge blades thanks to her love of Samurai films. During her tutorial session, she ended up crafting a +1 shiv and +2 pickaxe (the latter of which would literally end up saving her and Dr. Nice's life when both characters were down to their absolute last chance of surviving danger) thanks to the massive amount of success rolls she got from forging both items.
  • Book Dumb: "Illiterate" is a character flaw.
  • Brutal Honesty: As shown in her tutorial chapter, Scout does not mince her words and says what she means, first seen when chewing out her father just because he's getting old. A later example occurs after informing Dr. Nice that Betsy had died - rather coldly telling him she didn't care about her dying as there's nothing either of them could do at that point and then intimidating the terrified doctor to come with her into the mines because he is an outsider and the town as a whole wouldn't be affected if he were to die in the expedition.
  • Dumb Blonde: Illustrations show her with blonde hair, and she's not the brightest tool in the shed.
  • Expy: This Genius Ditz, Japanophile farmhand with a Southern U.S. drawl is remarkably similar to Gura herself.
  • Going Commando: As part of her plan to rescue Yuul, Scout takes off her panties and turns them into a slingshot. She never gets to use it.
  • Genius Ditz: Has an Intelligence stat of 1 and is completely illiterate other than basic common texts like warning signs, but is skilfully gifted in weaponsmithing.
  • Half-Witted Hillbilly: A Book Dumb farmhand who was born and raised in the small farm town of Belt-Buckle.
  • Heroic Ambidexterity: Has one skill point put into ambidexterity, which Calli commends as she explains it's not a skill that can be purchased through level and experience advancement.
  • Hypocritical Humor: When it's Scout's turn to pick out an outfit, Watoto suggests a short green dress with ruffles. Scout refuses, saying that she isn't wearing anything that shows off her legs above the knees. This coming from the same girl who has gone pantless in previous sessions.
  • It's All About Me: Has been described as having this kind of attitude on her bio.
  • Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique: When questioning Dr. Nice, she puts him in a choke hold and slams him against the wall of his own trailer, despite an Insight check telling her that he's telling her the truth.
  • Lack of Empathy: Has been explicity described as having this in her bio.
  • Laxative Prank: She managed to single-handedly ruin the reputation of a powerful family of vampire aristocrats with one.
  • Motor Mouth: Has a tendency to go on long rambles about her life back in Beltbuckle.
  • Never Learned to Read: Is illiterate as a Flaw.
  • Never My Fault: When telling her father about how Dr. Nice "couldn't even show [her] his PDF", she neglects to mention that he was offering to show it to her before she started manhandling him and scared the bejesus out of him.
  • Pants-Free: Scout has a tendency to go pantless. In her tutorial, Scout tore off her pants in order to pull out Doc. Nice out of the well that led into the man-eating mine. Even Gura wasn't the slightest bit concerned about her bottom-half being put on display. In Session 2, Scout ripped off her pants in a similar way in order to pull Yuul out of a bush while vines whipped at her feet. Scout appears to cherish her +2 Pickaxe (forged in the tutorial) much more than her pants.
  • Promotion to Parent: At the end of her tutorial, Scout learns that her parents fled the farm because their shady dealings have caught up to them, abandoning both her and her younger sister in the process. Being the big sister that she is, she decides it is best for her sister to stay with her as they leave the farm and head to Mythton.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran:
    • Compared to the others, Scout seems the most disturbed by her encounter with the supernatural in her family's mines. She brings it up in conversation frequently, and seemed scared of the possibility of encountering something similar. She even has occasional flashbacks whenever she does.
    • Averted in Session 5. After the death of their doppelgangers, the rest of the crew walk away haunted by the sight of their own dead bodies, except for Scout, who managed to not only get over it, but even find meaning in it.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Or "would hurt a kid," more literally. In an effort to not pay the $30 (when she has $600) to Kid, Scout resorts to violence. This, of course, works.
  • Wrath: Her Vice.
  • Wrench Wench: Scout's character art shows her wielding a forge hammer for a weapon and integrated a fully stocked tool belt into the belt on her jeans. Her character stats are specialized in weapon crafting, a few points into driving, and she is a renowned crafter.

Non-Player Characters

All Played By: Calliope Mori

    Victor Fresno

A mysterious janitor that calls himself a prince who shows up during the first two prologue sessions for Tiara and Yuul. Seemingly exists solely to be tortured by the player characters and to drag them all into the world of the supernatural, whether he wants to or not.

  • Almighty Janitor: He calls himself and was referred to as a prince, is incredibly durable, and supposedly has some sort of powerful healing abilities and connections, yet he seemingly only takes work as a night janitor.
  • Ambiguously Human: There's a few hints thus far that he may be supernatural himself.
    • In Tiara's prologue, the bright lights in the bird shop seem to make him uncomfortable, and he looks noticeably more sickly in the photo she takes of him than in real life. He also is described as visibly unnerved by Tiara's owl, possibly due to their association with the Strix, evil vampire-tormenting spirits in the World of Darkness.
    • In Yuul's prologue, he survives getting hit by a van with just a bruise on his head, and Calli mentions his teeth look oddly sharp when Yuul sees him up close.
    • He has repeatedly been referred to by himself and others as a prince or former prince, the title used (among the World of Darkness franchise) to indicate the ruling vampire in a given city or territory.
    • He says he's 'the same kind of thing' as the cultist vampires that abducted Uhu.
  • Bad Liar: His one chance to try and hide information from Tiara that he knows, he ends up rolling a 1 on a Chance Die and ends up spilling more information than he would have if he just kept quiet.
  • Butt-Monkey: In his first appearance with Tiara, he ends up getting kidnapped by the inhabitants of the house. In his second appearance with Yuul, he ends up getting run over by a van.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: Offers to show Scout some things about city boys, but promptly backs off when she innocently accepts.
  • Iron Butt Monkey: After getting run over by Yuul, he is seemingly no worse for wear save for a bruise, and he's able to heal Yuul from certain death in the middle of her encounter with the monster with the Hook Hand.
  • In-Series Nickname: Calls himself "Vic".
  • Too Kinky to Torture: He's a little too enthused when Tiara grips his wrist at full force and slaps him.
Kiara: I grab [Victor's wrist] really tightly, so that it hurts!
Victor: [excitedly] Oh, great! The more it hurts, the better it is!
Kiara: [getting increasingly annoyed] I slap his face, ara!
    Victor: [excitedly] Wow, thank you!

    Dr. Oopsie
Yuul's mentor at Justa University. She sends Yuul off to gather twigs and leaves in an attempt to recreate life for her experiments, and after a long absence, her breakthrough involves becoming a servant of the Wyrm.
  • Mad Scientist: Already starts off with hints of this trope in her attempts to create life.

    Dr. Nice

A young doctor who recently moved to Belt-Buckle to try and help prevent the high rate of elderly deaths in town, and later joins Scout in going to Mythton after the cause was discovered and stopped.

  • Action Survivor: Was just a few bad rolls away from being devoured by the living mine.
  • Breakout Character: Wasn't intended to have a personality or really even be interacted with, but Gura decided Scout should visit him, and saves him from the living mine in the end.
  • Butt-Monkey: Scout verbally and physically assaults him throughout their interactions in Scout's tutorial session.
  • Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": See In-Series Nickname below.
  • Frontier Doctor: Briefly. He moved to the rural farm-town Belt-Buckle to try to reduce the elderly population's high death rate; however, it was short-lived as he was only there for 2 months before the cause was dealt with and he went with Scout back to his hometown Mythton.
  • Innocent Bystander: Had nothing to do with the elderly population's mysterious deaths and almost dies trying to uncover the mystery with Scout.
  • In-Series Nickname: For lack of a given first name, Scout refers to him as "Doc"
  • Labcoat of Science and Medicine: Is described as wearing one.
  • Names to Trust Immediately: Dr. Nice happens to be a very nice doctor.
  • Nice Guy: With a name as on the nose as Dr. Nice you'd expect this trope to be subverted, but it's actually played straight.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Moved to Belt-Buckle to genuinely do good and help the elderly. It almost leads to his death.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Wears thick-rounded spectacles and is a medical doctor.
  • Unlucky Everydude: A normal Doctor who's goal to stop the town's high elderly deaths leads to him almost dying. And that's not even counting the harassment he receives from Scout and her father.
  • Victimized Bystander: Played with. Scout's harassment of him in the first half is Playedfor Laughs and easily falls into Type 2 example, but him almost being eaten by the living mine while having nothing to do with Scout's family puts him very easily into a Type 1 example.
  • Witch Doctor: Averted. He's accused of being this by Scout, but he's just a normal medical doctor.

    Kid

A Black Market fence who knows how to get his hands on anything, for the right price. He lives in the basement of the Homestead Bar and provides goods to the cast.

  • A Dog Named "Dog": This is a kid named Kid.
  • Coat Full of Contraband: His character design shows him holding open a trenchcoat full of watches.
  • Entendre Failure: Upon requesting a smooch from the blacksmith Scout (as a bargain), Scout lets Kid know what happens when someone gets kissed before the age of 18. That being, all three of their legs fall off. Kid responds "I didn't even know I had three!"
  • Jar Potty: When Scout asks for some deer urine, Kid replies that he'd need to check the piss jars for some.
  • Just a Kid: Despite being "just a kid," Kid is a valued member of the hunter society, and is able to get the party whatever they may need (see We Sell Everything below). Also said word-for-word by Gura when the prospect of intimidation was brought up by Calli.
  • Super Gullible: Kid is easily tricked. When Tiara asks for a container of poison, Kid bargains for $250 and one kiss. Tiara, naturally, responds negatively. She asks for Kid to give her the bottle before he gets the kiss, and this ends up in Kid getting scammed out of a kiss.
  • We Sell Everything: During his introduction, he claims he can get ahold of anything the party may need.

    Madam M

The owner of the Homestead Bar

  • Avengers Assemble: Tasked Victor with gathering the cast together so they could become hunters. She mentioned that her own mother did the same with another group of adventurers 35 years prior.
  • Expy: She's literally J-Chad with only minor modifications to her appearance.

    Bertha

An old woman who still works as the bouncer at the Homestead Bar, despite her age and stature.

  • Mood-Swinger: In the first few minutes after being introduced, Bertha offers cookies to Scout, suggests Scout piss in the street when she asks about a bathroom, threatens Scout with a shotgun, and then good-naturedly accepts Scout's challenge to a shooting contest. A comment from Kid when he shows up with Watoto suggests this is fairly common behavior for her.
  • Never Mess with Granny: This sweet-looking old woman has served as the bouncer for a bar / clandestine hunter hideout for thirty-five years. A combat roll during her shooting contest with Scout reveals her attack pool with a shotgun is eight dice, on par with a highly-skilled professional marksman.

    Baolin Sniff

A mysterious changeling, first seen cloaked in green, who encounters the Mythbreakers while they were trapped in The Hedge.

  • Butt-Monkey: Like most NPCs in this universe. During the second encounter with this changeling, he was shot at (which missed him), battered with a shovel until he was deemed unconscious, then suffered the paralysing capabilities of a taser (which was modified to be lethal). After that, he was tied up with a rope and interrogated. Scout and Tiara toyed with the possibility of removing certain bodily organs from him, such as removing one of his eyes with a dagger or taking off one of his ears. Lastly, Tiara stole his sniper rifle, with him unable to stop them due to their no-harm contract.
  • Magically-Binding Contract: In order to save his own life, Sniff made a contract of which neither two parties could hurt each other (with the Mythbreakers also getting a magical whistle out of the deal). The contract seemingly came out of thin air and was golden, without any fineprint. Kiara and Gura both toyed with breaking the contract, but was reminded how dangerous breaking a magically binding contract can be in this universe, ultimately stopping under the I can't harm you, you can't harm me principle.
