Affectionate Nickname:
- Gen 2 have all adopted the name "Tupaisen" for Risu, which is a combination of "tupai", the Indonesian word for squirrel, and an inversion of "senpai".
- Moona is referred to as "Moona-simpai".
Cast Herd: The three of them made their debuts within a 3-day span in December 2020.
Exotic Eye Designs: None of this generation's eye designs are really in line with the rest of hololive:
- Ollie has two differently designed eyes, her right eye having a red/green half-split iris and a diamond-shaped pupil with a yellow circle inside, while her left eye has a yellow iris and an X-shaped pupil.
- As a contrast with her Big Anime Eyes, Anya also has extraordinarily tiny pupils, resembling tiny pinpricks. In fact, they can sometimes be so hard to notice that she can appear to not even have pupils, instead having light purple Prophet Eyes.
- While not on the level of Ollie or Anya, Reine has a notable difference from all the other Hololive members in that her pupils are completely white instead of black or some other dark color, as is signature of her artist Pochi. This aspect of her design is iconic enough that other artists consistently draw Reine with them while other characters next to her have normal black pupils.
Hobos: Played for Laughs. With all of the girls having backstories that implies they're homeless it's frequently joked that they are this. Anya even lampshades it after Ollie retweeted an art of her sitting on a plastic chair which she claimed to be her "gaming chair".

Medium-Shift Gag: All three of their debuts opened with a different style of movie, reflective of their tastes.
- Ollie's debut started with an opening made in RPG Maker.
- Anya's debut started with a Visual Novel styled opening.
- Reine's debut started with an animated pop music video sung by her.
Punny Name: The generation's name, HOLORO, is an portmanteau of Hololive and Loro (Javanese for the number "two").
Starting a New Life: This is the theme of their gen, with all the girls getting a "second chance" at life. Ollie is a zombie who was brought Back from the Dead, Anya was a dagger who was transformed into a human form, while Reine was Trapped in Another World from another dimension.
Vague Age: Anya has her age smudged out, only saying that she's "older than most of you" and Reine has smudged out her year of birth. Only Ollie has given her age... when she died, not only making her "eternally 17 years old", but also leaving out the time gap between her first death and her resurrection as a zombie.

Ascended Glitch: As Anya explains, her bust size was intended to be much smaller in concept, but her Live2D rigging ended up giving her Hidden Buxom. The question of whether or not this was her canonical bust size was muddied with the HoloClothing depiction retaining the large size, but a definite answer of "The bust size seen in her concept art is the real deal" was produced when Brian Tsui, who rigged her Steampunk-style outfit, also took on the task of re-rigging her base 2D model and bringing it in line with the art.
The Baby of the Bunch: Ollie considers her to be the little sister of the ID Gen 2. Anya herself takes offense to this, claiming that she's actually older than Ollie. Curiously though, she has no qualms about referring to Reine as an older sister.
Beware the Nice Ones: She has no qualms about speaking her mind if she feels displeased. She once got so fed up with chat's endless backseating that she decided to voice her thoughts in big bold letters for all to see.
Big Bad: Become one in Kanata's Miitopia playthrough. In the Holo ID tier list hosted by Zeta, Anya was categorized and placed in the "death game" as the murderer and the one who will survives in the end.
Big Little Sister: Small as she is, she is actually the most mature out of her gen, often acting as the older sister voice-of-reason.
Bizarre Human Biology: According to Anya, her hair (along with other parts of her body) is super sharp due to her being a dagger, despite having a human form. Sharp enough that she wouldn't recommend humans touching them lest they hurt themselves. She also can't feel ticklish or any temperature like heat or cold.

Congestion Speak: Suffer from morning allergy, where she had trouble talking properly. In one particular season, she had to reduce her morning stream hours from her schedule due to the increased rates of the pollen.
Corrupt Corporate Executive: Played for Laughs whenever she plays Idol Manager. All that matters is her bottom line, and if her idols get depressed, well, that's just an occupational hazard.
Cuteness Proximity: Really likes turtles and often squees when she sees one in a game she's playing.
Declaration of Protection: Normally, she is the one who recieved these declarations from other Holo members, and instead, she turns it around and declares that she will be protecting herself or them as she reminds everyone that she is a weapon.
Distracted by the Sexy: Couldn't help herself on mentioning the oppai in Phasmophobia. One of her favorite places is the farmhouse as that place contains many oppai.
Does Not Like Spam: She dislikes raisins very much.
The Dreaded: One of the scariest members in Holo ID, and the way how she can incite fear by simply saying hi.
Dude, Not Funny!: Her sense of dry humor has caused most people to not understand her jokes and these issues make her sad as she wants them to understand that her jokes are meant to be sarcastic.
Failed a Spot Check:
- In Minecraft, she has a hard time recognizing where the button on the wall to open the locked door.
- In Black Mesa, she has trouble locating the ladder that led to the next area. Later, she didn't notice the bright green button to progress the game.
Fangirl: For Fubuki. During her debut stream she lets out a reverb-infused, microphone-peaking "FUBUKI-SENPAI!!! DAISUKI DESU!!!!"
Funny Background Event: Due to technical difficulties from her earlier days, most of Anya's own perspective in the collaboration aren't shown, and as such, she became a background character that can be spotted doing something funny in the background. Throughout the duration of Ame's Sports Festival Practice, there was a funny interaction between Mumei and Anya playing the Red Light Green Light game in the in-game chat box.
The Gambling Addict: Lists gacha games as one of her favorite types of games. She once spent more than 5000 on Fate/Grand Order. In Rust, she got recruited into the Gambler’s Club, and for a brief moment, she gained the nickname “The God of Gambling”.
Giftedly Bad: She is bad at drawing, however, she has shown great passion for her work of art, and refer to them as her "masterpiece". After the Uekuraeku family Gartic Phone collab, Pako-sensei remark that Anya is a master painter.
Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Often says 'Screw off!' if something annoys or frightens her instead of the more common F-bomb version of the phrase.
Gratuitous Foreign Language/Gratuitous Japanese: Being fluent in the languages of English, Japanese and Indonesian, Anya would often say something in one language and not translate what she said in the other languages.
Hartman Hips: May have one, in the HOLOROSPACE, Ollie was mesmerized by Anya's butt and couldn't stop herself from talking about it.
Has a Type: According to herself, she likes tall women and people that can speak fast. When discussing Fate/Grand Order, one of her favorite characters is Rin, and characters with Rin's face like Isthar and Ereshkigal.
Height Angst: She actively denies the comments that she is short, being quick to show how many of her senpais she exceeds in height ^note.
Hidden Buxom: An odd Zig-Zagged example. As her concept art shows and Anya herself states, she's supposed to be as flat as her appearance suggests, it's just the way her model was initially rigged that results in her chest visually having more depth and "physics", resulting in this trope when seeing her full model in action for the first time. Plenty of other members with A-Cup Angst (Ollie, Ina, Gura) also believed that she was deceptively busty.
Ina: I thought she was gonna be one of us... but... those boing boings...
Humanity Ensues: Got turned human by her master for some reason.
Hypocrite: She dislikes irresponsibility... yet she herself was late eight minutes into her debut stream. Her origin story also states that before getting evicted from her apartment, she did almost absolutely nothing but sleeping and playing games all day and skipped paying rent for two months, something that Reine calls her out for in the chat, and Ollie does the same during their subsequent collaboration video.
Important Haircut: In her initial outfit, she had very long and voluminous hair. Later outfits give her Boyish Short Hair, which she prefers.
Insistent Terminology:
- Following YAGOO's "Hello everyone!" video, she clarifies to her fans that she is an idol and not an entertainer.
- Anya does not smack Toaster-kun. She's just giving him headpats.
Limited Wardrobe: Ever since receiving her second outfit, she's rarely used her first model, especially in collabs, which led to this as Holoro received their second outfits fairly quickly, but didn't receive their third outfits for over a year after that. She explains that because of how much space her hair takes up in her original model, it's not conducive to sharing the screen with another vtuber.
Little Miss Snarker: She's shown to be rather sharp-tongued (no pun intended) in her commentary while playing video games and her interactions with chat. There's also her very passive-aggressive "no backseating" message during a Papers, Please stream as mentioned in Beware the Nice Ones above.
Live Mink Coat: Her kimono outfit introduces a fox familiar curled around her neck named Moko.
Living Weapon: A very literal one, being given life from an unknown ritual.
Love Confessor: Host a series called "Consultation Corner'' with special guests from Holo ID. Based on the romantic theme episode, they receive love messages from anonymous senters and give out their own personal advice toward the senter's romantic troubles.
Motifs: The wavy design of the keris' blade◊ influences her hair, hairpin, and clothing.
Never My Fault: When it comes to roleplaying the main character in the game, and if said character was responsible for the event that unfolded, Anya would state it wasn’t her fault.
No Indoor Voice: Ollie comments that Anya is actually the loudest in the group. When Anya decides to immersive within the game stories or setting, she would often let out a piercing scream of excitement or terror depending on the scene that transpired.
No Sense of Direction: Has a self-admittedly horrible sense of direction.
- During an off-screen Phasmophobia collab prior to Gen 2's debut, Anya once got very lost in one of the houses and begged her genmates for help finding her way out. When Reine asked where she was, Anya shouted she was in the garage, despite Reine already being in the garage and not seeing her anywhere. It turns out, Anya had somehow wandered into the basement and not realized it. Hololive Indonesia Generation 2's Discord room is named "Anya's Garage" in honor of this moment.
- The subtitle of her first solo stream of Okaeri refrences this trope almost verbatim.
Non-Standard Character Design:
- While eye shape and color is heavily varied among all Hololive members, Anya stands out with just how large her eyes are, which brings to mind Big Anime Eyes. She also has extraordinarily tiny pupils, to the point that they can sometimes be hard to notice and make it look like she has light purple Prophet Eyes.
- Anya's skin is also noticably paler than that of other members.
Odd Name Out: The only one of her gen to use Western naming convention for her name, with her first name "Anya" being listed first.
Only Sane Woman: During an HOLOROSPACE offline collab with Moona, Reine, and Ollie, Anya was the only one to be utterly baffled by the antics of her senpai and her genmates as they began playing in the bathroom.
Otaku: The way Anya talks in Japanese is like a modern day otaku. She has also shown great interest and knowledge in various Japanese anime, manga, literature, and visual novels.
The Prankster: She loves to pull pranks and prank calls if given the opportunity.
Precision F-Strike: Ever since her debut, Youtube have automatically identified her channel as a kid channel. To resolve this issue, Anya and her manager M-Chan have tried to send multiple complaints to Youtube with no avail. In a desperate situation, Anya has considered swearing and even informed M-Chan about her plan. Despite M-Chan saying no, Anya has gradually begun to incorporate swearing into her stream. These are some of the swear words that she had use in her stream like "fuck", "damn", "hell", "ass", "crap", etc.
Pretty Freeloaders: In her origin story, after first becoming human she found she had to satisfy needs such as needing to make a living to eat and a place to sleep. She did so by freeloading in a room for months where she had been behind on paying rent for months until she finally got kicked out.
The Quiet One: Tweeted the least of the second generation prior to her debut. Justified as this fits her sleepy and apathetic personality.
Really Fond of Sleeping: One of her defining traits is that she really likes sleeping, and is constantly sleepy even while awake.
Sherlock Scan: She's shown to have a quite sharp eye when playing as a crewmate in Among Us. During the February 11, 2021 Hololive ID x Holostars collab for example, she was able to deduce at least one impostor correctly several times.
Significant Wardrobe Shift: Her 2nd outfit in which she don a more business casual and mature look. 70-90% of the design ideas like the hairstyle, braid, hairpin, earring, and skirt all came from Anya.
Anya: I feel like I can be myself in this outfit. Thank you. Interesting question. Like, I can stream like myself, I can speak like myself.
Situational Sociability: As stated in her official bio, she would only talk to people who she has found interesting. Though she is an introvert, contrary to popular belief, she isn't shy and only wants to speak when it is necessary. She explains using a one and one conversation, she prefers the speaker to finish talking before engaging in the talk. The same is also applied for a group of people, as it's already chaotic enough if everyone talks at once.
Suspiciously Specific Denial: Anya states she wanted to play Resident Evil Village simply because she saw a lot of her senpai playing the game and definitely not because she wanted to meet a tall, busty vampire lady.
Tempting Fate: Has a habit of saying unfortunate things that will happen, just moments before such an event does indeed happen to her.
This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: Regularly, using her own ability as a weapon to protect herself or others from danger. In the Minecraft collab with Holo ID, after reading Reine's Anya x Moona fanfiction, she notices that they can easily escape from the locked room by using her as a weapon.
Translator Buddy: At first, it starts with Anya helping Ollie out by transcribing and translating her debut script into Japanese. Then, later on, her role has been expanded and she becomes the translator if no one can speak the other languages in the collaboration.
Tranquil Fury: See the Beware the Nice Ones entry above, she definitely fits the description.
Anya: Learn to behave, you don't want to try me. Really.
Use Your Head: In order for Anya to take back her phone from Ollie, the first thing that Anya did was to headbutt Ollie’s forehead.
Vague Age: In her debut, she says she's older than most of the humans there (note the suspiciously specific "most"), and her age is... confidential. When Ollie had an extra candle on her cake during her birthday stream, making it look like the cake said "117" instead of "17", Anya said that "We're the same age now", although given the context, she was most likely just joking. For her birthday in 2022, she acknowledges that she has just turned 18 in human years.
Verbal Tic:
- In Anya's post-debut stream, Ollie pointed out how Anya often ends many of her sentences with "ya" (which literally means "yes" in Indonesian, and generally used in the same manner as Fubuki's Verbal Tic "sou sou sou"). Anya tried to deny this at first, but has come to accept it as part of her habit. Ironically, Ollie will soon inherit and incorporate the “ya” into her verbal tic.
- Anya has a tendency to say "mmm mmm mmm" at the end of her sentences, in a comparable way to Ina's "humu humu".
Visual Novel: One of her favorite genres of games. Her backstory at the start of her debut is also presented as one.

Agony of the Feet: One of Reine's oft-mentioned injuries is the Toe Story which elicits reactions of horror from her chat each and every time it's brought up. To sum it up very lightly: cracked big toe nail, hospital visit, phone drop on said toe, foot stomped on by a guy wearing heavy boots. Upon being told about it by Reine herself in graphic detail, Gura had an appropriately horrified reaction.
Amusement Park of Doom: KUSALAND in her Planet Coaster streams for reasons described below.
Animal Lover: Absolutely adores pets in particular, seemingly without exception. Whenever someone's pet was included in a photo of their room during her Room Review series, Reine's attention would be immediately drawn to the pet before anything else, and she spent most of her Pet Showcase stream cooing over the pictures of everyone's "babies."
Reine: Every pet is 10 out of 10, unless it's 11 out of 10.
Animal Gender-Bender: Normally only male peafowl (peacocks, as opposed to peahens) have the brilliant color scheme that Reine embraces. Peahens tend towards brown and other muted colors. When pressed to comment on this, Reine simply responded by saying she was "built different".
Animal Motifs: Peacocks, with her blue color scheme and ornamental feathers.
The Apprentice: To Moona in Minecraft, they often do collabs, and each collab mostly consists of them building something together while Moona teaching her what she knows.
Aroused by Their Voice: According to Ame, she has a hot morning voice. Fans of both concur with that assessment.
Baby Talk: She delves into UwU-speak at times for the silliness or to tease people who can't stand it like Ollie and Kronii.
Blow You Away: She knew a little bit of wind magic back on her homeworld and would use it to cool herself during hot days.
Brought Down to Normal: One of her listed dislikes is cleaning. Not that she hates the act of cleaning but she used magic in her world to clean everything immediately. Here on Earth, she needs to use old fashioned elbow grease.
Butt-Monkey: Fans were quick to notice that Reine is very easily teased and bullied, the latter especially when she started collaborating with her senpai. Highlights include Kiara jokingly using her senpai privileges to bully Reine into accepting being called a turkey (while denying being a chicken) and Moona giving her a deadly tour of the Hololive JP Minecraft server. Then there's Coco, who hijacks her Indonesian learning class and turns the stream into an AsaCoco advertisement with lots of vulgarity.
Carnivore Confusion: During a Minecraft collab with Calli, the latter, after hearing Reine mention that they didn't eat the chicken that they hatched, presses the awkward question of whether or not Reine feels any shame in eating birds creatures despite being one herself.
Calli: Do you not feel any shame eating, like, bird creatures, despite the fact that you're uhmm... a turkey?
Reine: A WHAT!? I think you're kind of misunderstanding something, but to answer your question: no, not at all.
Casual Kink: After experiencing Moona stepping on her back, she happily stated how much she enjoyed it and would seek a repeat performance. A bit downplayed as her back pain and massage parlor trips are somewhat reoccuring topics in her talk streams.
Catchphrase:
- GWS (get well soon), mostly used sarcastically in response to cheesy pick-up lines she gets from her audience.
- "It's fine.", for when things are Obviously Not Fine.
- "Anyways..", when changing topics.
- "Mudah sekali!", Indonesian for "Easy as pie!", a phrase stereotypically used by Indonesian salespeople when pushing their products (see Shameless Self-Promoter below.)
- "Spicy~", used figuratively, literally, or whenever, really. During their vacation together in the Maldives, Kiara said Reine used the phrase so often, she'd started picking the habit up herself.
- "I love peace.", usually said whenever she finds herself in danger.
Cool Big Sis: Ollie sees her as the big sister of ID Gen 2 and looks up to her as a protective role model. While not as passionately as Ollie, Anya also clearly looks up to her and calls her an "Onee-san" type.
Corrupt Corporate Executive: Her Planet Coaster streams have her assume this role. Not only did she put a refreshment stand after a very long and very high flight of stairs, she also built multiple unfinished coasters while bemoaning how the game wouldn't let her open them, in one case building a track that essentially shot the cars at parkgoers.
Covert Pervert: Despite her dignified demeanour and rarely bringing up any sexual topics, she is referred to as bottom-right (intelligent and impure) by her fans, owing in part to her love of Marine (famous for her horny antics), her "mama" Pochi (famous for her erotic works) and being a fanfic writer. When chat successfully tricked Reine into looking up a notoriously disturbing hentai manga, her only response was an indifferent-sounding "Oh. I've read that."
Cruel Mercy: Her reasoning for ultimately sparing Flowey at the end of her first Undertale playthrough, though her intention is slightly different.
Reine: Maybe we should give the flower a little bit of a chance. We should mercy him, bring him to our usual relaxing area, and pluck him, his petals, one by one, but we gotta let him live. Sounds like a better option.
Reine: He just wants a fast, [painless] death, but we're not going to give it to him.
Cute Clumsy Girl: It's not uncommon to hear Reine banging her legs against the underside of her desk (or the trash bin she keeps under it), and she's told stories about tripping over various things, running her feet over with her chair wheels, ripping her headphones cable by stepping on it, and so on. She usually doesn't suffer any serious injuries from her mishaps, though.
Deadpan Snarker: Has her moments, such as the GWS mentioned above as well as her explanations on why she picks "P" as her username in Left 4 Dead 2.
"Dinner, Bath, or Sex" Offer: Subverted and parodied here, when she started saying the standard line as normal, but at the last moment replaced "watashi" with "tidur", meaning "sleep", and in this context a literal sleep and not the sexual kind because it's already late at night, followed by Moona laughing her ass off before they finally go to sleep.
Does Not Like Spam: Extremely spicy food. She claims she doesn't have the genetics to handle it. Also durians, because she can't stand the look of its flesh and the spikes on its skin.
Don't Try This at Home: Reine managed to almost immediately pull a 4-star in D4DJ: Groovy Mix after drinking soap water for gacha luck. Once she was done celebrating, she made a disclaimer to not drink soap water.
Dual Wielding: She enjoys dual-wielding in any game that allows it, such as using two fishing rods in Minecraft or dual greatswords in Elden Ring.
Empty Eyes:
- One of her expressions. She doesn't have a normal angry expression like most of the other members so this is to express Tranquil Fury.
  Reine: I sometimes go on Twitter, and I see quotes like "Step on me, step on me"... Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk [sigh]
- As of her L2D model update on February 12th, 2022, she's even able to use her empty eyes on all of her expressions, including a newly added angry/smug face.
Everybody Hates Mathematics:
- Reine has both admitted and demonstrated on several occasions that she's terrible at even basic math; one of the driving reasons she wanted to save as many people as possible in her 999 playthrough was to have more people around to do the calculations for her. Her Zero Time Dilemma playthrough sums up her reaction to math:
  Reine: [After switching answers in the Monty Hall Problem only to find that her initial 1/10 choice was correct] "Why did you change the answer?" Cause people are telling me to switch. [...] I will never trust statistics again. I will never trust math. I will never trust statistics.
- At one point while playing The Kidnap, she comes across some basic arithmetic equations. After screaming in horror, she does not even bother trying to solve the equations properly.
Evil Matriarch: Played for laughs during the HOLORO Mini 3D Live, where Reine assumed the role of a stereotypical soap opera matriarch, who constantly torments her stepdaughter (Ollie) both verbally and physically, though eventually subverted as her character was seemingly entranced into being evil, and turned out to have been Good All Along after a smiting from Anya. This role quickly became a personal favorite for Reine, who would occasionally slip back into it for flavor, especially during collab streams.
Exact Words: During Reine's 400K subscribers celebration stream, chat reminded her she'd previously promised to finally clean her room once she hit 400K. Since she didn't say she'd clean her entire room, she threw a single piece of tissue away and called it good. Unsurprisingly, chat was less than impressed.
Fangirl:
- For Houshou Marine. Not only is she her favorite member of hololive, Reine can also do a spot-on impression of her.
- She's quite smitten with her artist, Pochi and regularly freaks out with joy whenever "Pochi-mama" appears in her chat. Adorably, the feeling appears to be wholly mutual.
Fishing Episode: She really enjoys Fishing Minigames and often brings up the subject.
- Anytime a grappling hook appears, she refers to it as "reverse-fishing". Ditto for Dual Wielding which she associates with dual-wielding fishing rods in Minecraft.
- One particular Minecraft stream was dedicated to hours of just fishing.
- During a drawing stream, she heard that Calli was planning a Minecraft fishing stream and opted to draw her in fishing gear as the next subject.
Funny Background Event: MC (short for My Cat), Reine's real-life cat, will sometimes interrupt Reine's streams by meowing loudly, laying on her keyboard or lap, or even knocking things off her desk, prompting Reine to step away for a moment to remove the cat from her room if her pet gets too disruptive.
Fun with Acronyms:
- Some of her Brunch stream thumbnails have Yet Another Brunch, Everyone written out or YABE.
- Later, Reine started holding streams with the abbreviation WADUH.
  Reine: W.A.D.U.H. stands for "We are Again Dining at Unusual Hours" (subject to change) "Waduh" is an Indonesian word which means something along the lines of "uh oh!" "wow!" "oh my!"—very versatile word for a lot of situation, much like the expression "yabe!" in Japanese. Since Y.A.B.E. (Yet Another Brunch Everyone) is our brunch program, W.A.D.U.H. is a newly introduced nighttime equivalent of that.
The Gadfly: As much as Reine gets teased (see Butt-Monkey above), she doesn't seem to have any problem dishing it out when she has the chance. Chat's horrified reactions to Reine's design sense in House Flipper only seemed to egg her on more, and she seems especially fond of pranking Moona while playing Minecraft with her. Examples include starting to build what appeared to be a clown afro on Moona's unicorn statue and making the carpet in one of the rooms of their mall a patchwork of random colors.
Reine: Will I get scolded for this?
Gargle Blaster: The HoloIDrink. To make a long story short, Hololive ID's management released a picture of fictional drinks based on the ID girls for an April Fools' joke. Supposedly to push management into making the drinks a reality, Reine decided, not to recreate each drink herself, but to use ingredients representing each drink flavor and mix them all into one beverage. Apparently it wasn't that bad... aside from the chili powder she used to represent Ollie's drink (see Does Not Like Spam above). She spent the next 40 or so minutes trying to choke the drink down, which was bad enough to actually kill her (she got better, though.)
Genki Girl: Somewhat subdued, but she is rather excitable. During her Superliminal streams, she clearly has a blast interacting with everything in the game, doing so with an energy comparable to Korone. She also has a tendency to vocalize random sounds that MERAKyats affectionately call Reine SFX.
Good Parents: Pochi. From constantly showing up in Reine's chat to comment and/or donate, to collabing with her regularly, to holding a special stream to celebrate Reine reaching 300K subs, everything about Pochi's interactions with Reine screams "proud mama." She even says as much how proud she is in the comment section of Reine's Usseewa cover.
Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Early on, she admitted that she avoids and dislikes swearing in English. However, swearing in Indonesian seems to be exempt from this such as seeing a Ghast and calling it "Setan".^note Nowadays, she seems to be less reserved towards swearing in general.
Grew a Spine: After her Indonesian class with Coco, Reine became noticably less likely to let herself be bullied by other members of hololive, and even started dishing out more teasing herself (her chat still picks on her regularly, though.)
Handy Feet: Once when someone in chat complimented Reine's ability to hold a teacup in one hand while still being able to practice her guitar, she explained she was playing it with her toes.
Has a Type: Blonde twintailed tsunderes, though she tends to greatly prefer the tsundere aspect when it's limited to anime (and other fictional) characters, as she finds dealing with the aggressive side tiring in real life.
Heroic Self-Deprecation: Downplayed example. During her debut stream, she said that her goal of reaching 1 million subscribers was originally meant to be merely 50,000, a goal which she had more than doubly surpassed the day before airing said stream. She then acknowledged how this could be attributed to her senpais for not only promoting her and retweeting her, but also for establishing Hololive to begin with. Nonetheless, she is happy and grateful for the support.
Hidden Depths:
- Reine is a capable artist and draws semi-regular drawing streams.
- She says that she's not particularly good at FPS games, or shooters of any kind. But when she played Apex Legends for the first time (in a guerilla stream with Moona and Ollie), she showed remarkable skill in the game, quickly learning its mechanics and once even managed to kill an opponent while entirely unarmed. She is also one of hololive's stronger Mario Kart contenders.
- She is a mechanical keyboard fanatic and intimidated IRyS somewhat when she first introduced the nephilim to its wonders.
I Hate Past Me: Invoked for laughs. During one of her drawing streams, Reine acknowledged several mistakes in her art, but wrote them off as problems for "Future Reine" while saying "Present Reine just needs to relax and do whatever she wants." Later in the stream, she starts panicking over her lack of progress and scolds Past Reine for her laziness.
Immediate Self-Contradiction: After some salt from Rainbow Road never getting picked in a Mario Kart 8 stream ^*, she goes on to say that she's been seiso only to get knocked off the course and drop a Precision F-Strike for it.
Insistent Terminology: Just like fellow bird Kiara's debut, Reine would like to remind you she's a peafowl, not a turkey.
Lady Swearsalot: Only when speaking Indonesian. Or playing Mario Kart.
Last-Name Basis: She highlights "Reine" in her debut stream as the name she would like everyone to call her.
The Leader: Seems to be this for Hololive ID Gen 2, with Ollie calling her their leader during her debut.
Meaningful Name: "Pavolia" derives from "pavo", which is Latin for "peacock", while "Reine" is French for "queen".
Most Fanfic Writers Are Girls: She's written some fanfics in Minecraft that are scattered across the servers, usually saucy self insert pieces starring herself.
Navel Window: Has one as part of her 1st 2D outfit.

Once Done, Never Forgotten: During her debut stream, she accidentally said "turkey confirmed" after a large number of viewers started using the turkey emoji instead of peacock as her fan icon. Turkey jokes followed almost immediately, much to her dismay. More often than not, the turkey emoji is seen over the peacock in her chat.
Pervert Dad: Gender-Inverted and downplayed with her illustrator Pochi. Because of her taste in drawing well-endowed women, she occasionally draws artwork of Reine in fanservicey outfits that highlight her assets. During Reine's debut, Pochi was also particularly proud of the former's breasts among other things. However, this trope is absent when they are collaborating together.
Precision F-Strike: Like the rest of Hololive ID, Reine's language is usually pretty clean, but while playing Clubhouse Games 51, a round of Last Card had the computer beating Reine so badly, she wound up quitting out before the match finished with a barely audible "You know what, fuck this game."
Princess Classic: Although her Cover profile is rather ambiguous on whether she’s actually a princess, various details (such as the Indonesian profile seen in her debut stream introducing her as the "Putri of the Peacock Kingdom", and her membership being called "Royaltea") seem to indicate that she is indeed the Princess of the Peacock Kingdom. Like the archetypical princess, she is both innocent and beautiful, but rather than elegant and proper, she is dorky and down-to-earth.
Pronouncing My Name for You: She discusses this when a fan thought her name was pronounced as "Renée", not "Rei-ne". However she's very relaxed about since her own friends tend to get her name wrong.
Pun:
- Her fanbase name "MERAKyats" is a portmanteau of the Indonesian words "merak" meaning "peacock" and "rakyats" meaning "citizen". As an added bonus, "merakyat" itself also means "humble".
- Her members are part of The Royaltea, as in royalty.
Pungeon Master: Not quite at Ina's level, but she's getting there.
Rapid-Fire "No!": When accidentally writing shipping fanfiction about Moona and herself, Reine is reduced to this reaction after it gets far raunchier than she intended.
Recurring Character: Whenever she writes fanfictions, God is often in these stories. His common trait being that he acts like the Big Bad who thinks Girl on Girl Is Hot and getting characters to reconcile by trapping them in inconvenient places.
Serious Business: Refers to fishing as such verbatim in her six-month anniversary stream when talking about her Running Gags.
Reine: Fishing is not a joke! What? Fishing is never a joke - fishing is serious business.
Shameless Self-Promoter: She humorously plugs her membership, merch, and latest songs so frequently it falls into Parody Product Placement.
Signature Laugh:
- Has a somewhat raspy chuckle that's been compared to a car engine trying to start. Even Reine's "mama", Pochi, approved of the car emotes regularly posted in chat following Reine's laughs.
- She has another laugh while speaking Indonesian. Her laugh is spelled as "Xixixixixi".
So Proud of You: Hilariously zig-zagged during her Indonesian teaching class with Coco, where she feels she should be proud for having had a successful and attentive student, but in practice felt dead inside for having taught some really vulgar words to the Yakuza Dragon.
Speaking Simlish: Her Verbal Tic, MEP MEP, is supposedly the vocalization of the language spoken by her kind. Named simply as "the birb language" by Reine, she would imply that this Mep language is her mother tongue on many occasions:
- In Calliope's 2021 birthday call-in stream, after stating that she wants to sing Happy Birthday in her own language, she proceeds to sing it entirely in Meps.
- In the stream titled "【APEX】Guerrilla Sightseeing Stream【hololiveID 2nd gen】", she teaches Moona some words in the birb language.
- In the stream titled "【Collab】Consultation Corner... Except It's MEP Corner This Month【hololive Indonesia 2nd Generation】", Anya attempts a birb language translation of a viewer marshmallow, which Reine approved.
- During HoloID Gen 2's 6 monthsary stream, she would provide the birb language translation of certain important information at various points.
- In her 400K Thank You Party Karaoke stream, she sings the entirety of "id:entity voices" in Meps.
Statuesque Stunner: At 172 cm, she is the second tallest female of hololive Productions at her time of debut, right behind Coco's 180 cm. After Coco's departure on July 1st 2021, Reine become the tallest of Hololive's female talents and remained that way for 8 months until the debut of Kaela of Indonesia Generation 3, who at 173cm overtook Reine by 1cm.
Tea and Tea Culture: Enjoys tea time as a hobby and hosts tea time streams. Her stream loading animation is also a cup of tea.
Terrible Pick-Up Lines: The donation messages she gets often come with cheesy pick-up lines which she reads aloud during donation readings.
Trademark Favorite Food: Holomie (though she actually clarifies that it's actually called Indomie, an actual Indonesian instant noodle brand).
Trapped in Another World: A reverse example. She's the princess of another world who is trapped in ours due to a botched magic spell during an exam.
Trauma Button: Following the catastrophic Indonesian learning stream with Coco, the mere mention of the word "tonjok" in the chat is enough to send poor Reine into a fit of pained laugh.
Reine: You guys are making me remember some repressed memories...
Trauma Conga Line: Played for Laughs. Reine is no stranger to being the punchline and butt end of many jokes, but doing a collaboration with Coco thoroughly broke her. What was supposed to be an Indonesian teaching class instead turned into Coco insisting on learning vulgar words in Indonesian, advertising her AsaCoco at a discount price except for Reine, threatening to stuff the poor peafowl with AsaCoco, then strangling her when she purposely uses Japanglish in front of Coco. By the end of it all, Reine was straight up crying and letting out pained laughs, even though superchats flooded the stream.
Troll: If she wants to be mean, she will start trolling either any member of ID or her chat. Best exemplified with Zeta with their first collab with her calling her a cat. Zeta gets frustrated to the point of calling their official collab being the last one. Then Zeta dies after deciding to skip the tutorial playing KeyWe.
Unfortunate Names: "Pavo" by itself means "Turkey" in Spanish. When combined with the rest of her name, her name can be interpreted as "Royal Turkey Queen". Ever since the iconic moment in her debut stream, both fans and hololive members alike have used this joke playfully to tease her.
Verbal Tic:
- "MEP MEP", bird sounds she often makes. According to Reine, these noises are actually part of a language of its own (see Speaking Simlish above).
- She has a habit of shouting "kaget!" (literally "startled!" in Indonesian) when she's surprised by something.
- Similar to Anya's "mmm mmm mmm", Reine has a habit of ending a lot of her sentences with "yes, yes yes."
Vitriolic Best Buds: With IRyS. Their dynamic together has plentiful banter and playful jabs between them even from their first one-on-one collab.
IRyS: Sempai, you're also the first place in my heart even if I'm ahead of you in the race. Deep down in my soul, you are first place.
Reine: [after IRyS places 12th] It's okay, IRyS, you're still number one in my heart even though you were dead last.
Wingding Eyes: One of her expressions replaces her white pupils with white hearts, in place of blushing like other hololive members (she actually can blush normally, but it happens so rarely, even a lot of her regular viewers don't know she's able.)
Yandere: Veers into this from time to time.
- She's admitted that she can get jealous if her viewers watch other girls, prompting "Just Reine" comments from her livechat.
- Reine's first ASMR stream (briefly available to the general public, now restricted to members-only viewing) found the listener locked in an unnamed room with Reine, where she cleaned their ears out with screwdrivers and shaved their heads, all while assuring them that she'd made sure nobody would come looking for them. At the end, she did let the listener leave, but only on the condition that they'd promise to come see her again.
- In her Brunch stream discussing the release of "Ano Aozora no Sei da" and "Love Me Love Me", she describes the former song as the singer being too shy to get her feelings across yet and the latter song as the route where the singer thinks she and her target of affection only need each other.
  Reine: If I were to jump into the "Love Me Love Me" universe, I would do it and be like "HALU!" y'know. The character probably would go berserk, but y'know, Worth It right?
Younger Than They Look: She consistently refers to herself as a baby/1-year old peafowl despite her grown appearance.
