Zombie Tsunami is a 2.5D Endless Game released on May 31st of 2012 for the iPhone and 2013 for Android.
It's a side scroller set during the zombie apocalypse in which the player controls a zombie and must grow the horde by eating humans in their way, as well as keep at least one alive. Some of them are in dumpsters (which may also contain coins), cars, buses, tanks and airplanes which require a certain amount of zombies to turn over and get the humans inside. There were also various hazards like moving cars, bombs, pits and earthquakes which can decrease your amount of zombies.
There's also several power-ups which can aid you in your survival. Tsunamis make you basically indestructible and protect you from falling into pits, ninjas throw shurikens, floating heads let you stay afloat etc.
While running you can collect coins which can be used in the shop, which can be used to buy cosmetic items, lottery tickets (which can also be unlocked by eating a certain number of humans), bonuses, enhance your upgrades and get eggs.
The eggs themselves contain companions that have various functions, like turning bombs into gold coins.
Zombie Tsunami contains examples of:
- Ad Reward: When you run out of zombies, you can watch an ad for an extra zombie.
- Artistic License – Biology: The floating heads power-up, which would be unrealistic as heads that large compared to bodies that small wouldn't be floating or surviving.
- Artistic License – Cars: The cars, buses, tanks and airplanes in this game can be easily flipped over by just having a bunch of zombies run up to it, which is unrealistic, especially in the case of the latter 3.
- Artistic License – Explosives: The bombs in this game seem to be only capable of affecting the zombies that hit them, by disintegrating their bodies entirely but doing nothing to the surrounding zombies. Moving cars also remain unaffected by them.
- Artistic License – Geology: The earthquakes only somewhat affect the ground, leaving the rest of the environment unaffected.
- Artistic License – Physics: Zombies can make dumpsters, stationary and moving cars, buses, tanks and planes explode just by running into them with enough numbers. The people (or coins, on ocassion for dumpsters) also come out scared but unharmed.
- Auto-Scrolling Level: The game itself scrolls constantly, which is a danger if you get stuck on an object you can't tip over and don't jump in time.
- Bottomless Pits: They can pop up from time to time, usually they're relatively narrow allowing you to easily jump over them but they can be larger, earthquakes can also produce these.
- Destructible Projectiles: The ninja power-up can throw shurikens at bombs thus destroying them.
- Double Jump: The ninja power-up can be upgraded to allow the zombies to jump then jump again in midair.
- Failure Is the Only Option: You will eventually lose all your zombies, such is the nature of the Endless Running Game.
- Just Plane Wrong: 16 zombies is all it takes to flip over a giant airplane and make it explode.
- Scenery as You Go: Sometimes earthquakes can produce ground when it seems like you're about to fall down an endless hole.
- Side View: The game is viewed from the side, showing off the city, the sides of the zombies and the humans, who also have their fronts shown.
- Zombie Apocalypse: The game takes place during one, seeing as zombies are overrunning the world.

Red Ball is a platformer Web Game series created by Eugene Fedosev. The game follows Red Ball going through levels to reach the end goal, sometimes with an Excuse Plot. Gameplay usually involves platforming and solving puzzles, and as of later entries also dealing with Mooks.
There are also stars one could collect although they don't usually do much. Later entries would introduce hearts which meant that Red Ball no longer died instantaneously.
In 2010 there would be 3 spin-off games released, the Red and Blue Balls series which was multiplayer and focused more on puzzles than platforming.

- Red Ball 2 has wind blow away Red Ball's crown which makes Red Ball go on a journey to get it back.
- In Red Ball 3 Black Ball kidnaps Red Ball's girlfriend and he wants to save her.
- Red Ball 4 Vol. 1 has circles be kidnapped and forced to turn into boxes.
- Vol. 3 has circles be forcefully roboticized and Red Ball has to save them.
- No Plot? No Problem!: The first game just happens, no explanation is given as to who or why
- Shout-Out: The first game has two.
- The first King.com exclusive level has a red circle with a slice taken out of it titled Pukman
- The last King.com exclusive level takes place on the crown that's associated with the logo of King.com
- Spikes of Doom: Spikes appear in every game and will hurt if not outright kill Red Ball.

I don't really get the trope from current. It's kind of hard to get this across to be honest as it's kind of subjective but I thought I'd try with some options from Come and See as the example on the page mentioned he starts to get wrinkles around the eyes as the film goes in so I thought it might be a stronger example:
