Locked Pages: Lock, UnLock and Edit requests

I have a request regarding the ymnv page for Death Battle. Considering how long the Visual Effects of Awesome trope already is on that page and how many battles have gone by since the page was locked, I think Death Battle should be given its own Visual Effects of Awesome page.

On Zero-Context Example, please remove the pothole to Rule of Cautious Editing Judgement. Particularly "that's all we can say about that." (Not the line, just the link to that page) We are no longer allowing such sinkholes, so this one needs to go.

That's the entire point of the fake example; it's a ZCE because of the pothole being used, and because people on the wiki do this, we're telling them not to.

On Evil Overlord List, on #8 please change the pothole in the word "princess" from Everythings Better With Princesses to Save the Princess. This is part of a TRS effort to dewick Everythings Better With Princesses.

Requesting preliminary lock on UsefulNotes.COVID Nineteen (and possibly other related pages, at mod discretion) in light of the disease being declared a pandemic, in order to prevent misinformation and to reserve it for potential future use as a Useful Notes page.

The proper page location, if one existed, would be either COVID-19 or Coronavirus.

Please add this bullet to the Launching section of TLP Guidelines. Willbyr has already approved of it:

• Similar to not rogue or stealth launching a trope, it's also frowned upon to rogue-discard or stealth-discard a draft, especially if there's still ongoing discussion on the draft itself and/or the sponsor is actively working on it. Regardless of how many bombs a draft has, discarding it before it finishes discussion is simply rude. Another problem is people not adding a reason when they discard something, which can lead to confusion and a lack of transparency, so please try and explain your reasoning before you hit that button. Discarding issues are not as severe as launching issues, as the drafts can more easily be restored, but too many instances of ignoring this guideline can earn you a suspension.

Please remove all entries under Memetic Loser expect for Kylo Ren from The Last Jedi.

Cleanup desired all Memetic Loser exiles must explain why their loser reputation is unfairly exaggerated to avoid complaining. Ren is the only one with an explanation noting he Took a Level in Badass in-work.

On Locked Pages, Scrappy Mechanic/Youtube was cut, while Watchmen (2019) is no longer locked. Remove them from the list, and you might want to add the former to the Permanent Red Link Club.

I noticed that on the Complete Monster page, the index still lists Monster.Film even though it's now a redirect to Monster.Live Action Films. Shouldn't this link be fixed?

It will be. The mods are busy with stuff I think.

On Double Standard, "then" is sometimes used when "than" should be, and Draco in Leather Pants is misused as always being sexual.

It is easier for the mods if you can type up the correct text so that they only have to copy+paste. They often don't have time to spend on just editing a page. If you look through previous posts, you can see how others have written specific examples in posts and more extensive changes in Sandbox/es.

Sorry, I'm a newbie to this thread.

I'm not sure if the SARS-CoV-2 pages should be locked pre-emptively. I mean... do people seriously think we trope SARS, typhoid, tuberculosis, etc.? Also, it'd be TwentyNineteenNCov, SARSCoV2, Coronavirus, NovelCoronavirus, etc.

A more meaningful lock would be on Incurable Cough of Death, which has Tuberculosis and TB as redirects. However, nobody's made any coronavirus entries on that yet.

(As an aside, is it okay to cut Tuberculosis for being a useless redirect and TB for being an initialism? They were both created in 2013 by Damian Yerrick.)

Honestly, I wouldn't have a real issue with axing the trope section on Bin Laden entirely and just focusing on media appearances.

If that's the Elemental Motifs entry then, yes, I believe there's a consensus now. For Weiss Schnee's section of the Characters.RWBY Team RWBY page, please can the following be added?

• Elemental Motifs: Weiss Schnee has a Snow White Fairytale Motif that has led to her entire family having a snow/ice association. They all have snow-white hair and pale skin and the emblem of their family and company is a snowflake. The family's white colour motif has a secondary colour of blue to create a snow/ice theme that is so associated with them that Weiss's father, who married into the family and originally had black hair, has fully adopted the entire elemental theme as part of his take-over of the family and company. When the main characters are introduced on their first day at school, Jaune takes an immediate liking to Weiss and nicknames her 'Snow Angel'. Others, however, call her 'Ice Queen' for her cool, aloof personality; her older sister, Winter, shares the same nickname for the same reason. Like all Huntsmen and Huntresses, Weiss and Winter can use any type of Dust energy in battle, but they both prefer using Ice Dust, which completes the family's elemental motif.
