To me it's the Character Development of the secondary characters and antagonists, such as Tom, Eclipsa, Ludo, Buff Frog, etc. And some of the hilarious comedy and action scenes.

What do you think is the best cat Pokemon ever made?
It's probably the colors, Awesome Music, the Kickass Fighters (especially if they have Attack Drones), beautiful Bullet Hell patterns, and of course, AWESOME BOSSES. Shoot Em Ups really deserve more love.

What are the things that make shoot 'em ups appealing to you?
That depends on the game, but I tend to subconsciously
gravitate towards the so-called "Diplosniper" builds — that is, a character who is equally skilled with ranged weapons and their words. My The Outer Worlds character, for example, started out as a science/two-handed melee hybrid build, but by the endgame I used the Hunting Rifle more often than the giant-ass multi-elemental hammer and talked the final boss down.

It's the only version I've played, to be honest. :P Thank goodness for Steam, because I probably wouldn't have gotten it anywhere else.
Anyway, the remaster is really good! The visuals and everything are all so crisp, and I love the commentary.
