This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

Can this be added to YMMV.Thunder Cats Roar?
- Audience-Alienating Premise: It's a reboot of a classic adventure cartoon from the 80s... As a silly comedy cartoon.
It was considered valid on the "Is This an Example" thread.
On Film S To Z could you please change Survivor to Survivor (2015)
18027: The "Is This An Example" thread seems to not consider it valid.
"{{In-universe}}" > "InUniverse" x3, due to Hyphenated Titles.
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576At Comic Books: A to H, for Black Moon Chronicles, please change the first pothole to Big Bad.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsDone up to 18029.
On Marvel Literature could you please change X-Men: The Chaos Engine Trilogy to X-Men: Chaos Engine Trilogy

Rewrite for Kamen Rider:
- The Great Leader of Shocker serves as the Overarching Villain of the Showa era and an archetype to many of his successors of the Henshin genre. Desiring to rule the world, he kidnaps countless innocents to experiment on and brainwashes them into becoming his soldiers, even torturing them with electricity to test them. When his organization Shocker would start to falter by the efforts of the heroes, he founded Gel-Shocker, slaughtering all of his soldiers in retribution for their failures. He then resurfaced in V3, where he would create the organization Destron and attempted to launch Operation: Japan Annihilation, which would release Deadly Gas across the entire country and take the lives of millions; he even attempted to throw his own son in a pool of acid for defying him. He resurfaced again in Skyrider, where he manipulates the Neo-Shocker group to gain more power, attempting to wipe out the world's oxygen and exterminate humanity to spite the Riders. In the movie OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders, he resurfaces as the final villain to use time travel to conquer the world, even murdering his own generals to achieve victory, believing in achieving power for himself no matter what the cost. Defined by his God Complex and desire to remake the world in his own image, he represents the very worst the franchise has to offer.
Please also remove the Kamen Rider stuff from Literature G To L and add Kamen Rider to Literature for works with their own pages.
At Video Games A To K, for Eternal Darkness, please replace replaces "serves an evil Ancient note " with "one of three evil Ancients"

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsCan the commented out Audience-Alienating Premise example on YMMV.Thunder Cats Roar be deleted, it was confirmed on the "Is This An Example" thread to not be an example.
On MagnificentBastard.Theatre, remove the quote at the top, as it was determined that Iago is not an example.
Request from the Badass cleanup thread for Badass Grandpa to be redlinked. We are currently in the process of de-wicking it (to a group of tropes, including Old Soldier, Cool Old Guy, etc. before making the page a disambig to such) but it seems more wicks are being added than we can remove. We believe that to have the page appear as a redlink will detract from people adding new instances to pages, and hopefully encourage others to replace wicks.

OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!Could you make Go Down Fighting a redirect to Bolivian Army Ending? It's descriptive of the trope and a common phrase so will probably be commonly searched.

OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!Could you make Parent Trap Plot a redirect to Kids Play Matchmaker? After this TRS discussion, Parent Trap Plot became an Internal Subtrope of Kids Play Matchmaker.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"- It hasn't been locked though... Once there's more contributors on the thread, then they can decide what to do with it, and someone can do it.

It should be noted that some fan artists redraw some other characters (whether they're from a good Western Animation or several Anime like Gundam or GaoGaiGar) in a similar style, which also made the fans angry.
Contributor for Gunpla Wiki. Currently suspended due to extensive writing issues. PS: I only wrote down what I saw. (audience reactions etc)@18042: That does not sound like a Memetic Mutation example to me, honestly. And "it should be noted" is Word Cruft.
@18040: That can be done by any regular editor.
@18039: I dunno, to me that sounds like a different trope...
@18038: Such a redlinking tool does not exist yet. Maybe what you need to do is to rewrite the page so that it doesn't look like a trope anymore.
@18035: Done. I wonder if these high-level pages like Monster.Literature should be unlocked if they lack example lists, inappropriately adding examples to index pages is very uncommon.
Done to here otherwise.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsThe Five-Man Band trope reminded me of a comic strip called The Krazy Gang, about a group of five kids. It was the title strip of the British anthology comic Krazy. I think it's a good example, and wondered if any admins who agreed might consider adding it?
The Leader: Cheeky (officially: in practice it often felt more like Ed was) The Lancer: Ed (but see above) The Big Guy: Sporty The Smart Guy: Brainy The Chick: Liz
And, yes, Liz was the only girl.
Page quote on Aliens Made Them Do It needs help:
- Quotation marks missing
- Space missing after long dash
- Remove full stop after "Spray."
For The Lion King II Simbas Pride, please add the following
Children Are Innocent: Kovu dosent see anything wrong with befriending Kiara, and he is completely confused when Zira sees at as a chance at revenge. He also doesn't want any power, when Zira proclaims it as their return to power.
Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Kovu's innocent action of playing with Kiara unknowingly set the plot in motion.
Villain Ball: Zira grabs it hard. For a starter, she was well aware Kovu wanted absouetly nothing to do with the plot. It is also heavily implied that she knew Kovu might not go through with it even before the whole plan started. Also she had absolutely no leverage to ensure he could stay loyal. The entire plan was practically gambling he would stay loyal. Needless to say, she probably should have chosen Vitani or especially Nuka, as Kovu was a terrible choice from the start.
Beauty Equals Goodness: Kovu is the most well kept of the Outsiders and quickly becomes the most heroic, given that he defects in roughly half a day.
- Dissapeared Dad: Kovu's father is missing, as Kovu himself admits.
- Missing Mom: Kovu is stated to be an orphan, so his biological mother is presumably dead.
- 18044/18046: Done
- 18045: Please write it up as you would if you were editing the page directly.

I have two for Final Fantasy VII.
- For the YMMV Page- Accidental Innuendo: Tifa's Limit Breaks have names that can be easily mistaken for sex acts. Examples include "Beat Rush," "Meteordrive," "Dolphin Blow," and "Final Heaven." Not helping matters is Tifa's status as a Ms. Fanservice character. This was a frequent source of mockery for her in Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged.
- For the Playable Character Page under Cid Highwind- Younger Than They Look: Even though he's 32, he can be easily mistaken for a decade older. This might have be because of years of chainsmoking.
At Live Action TVM To Z, for Stargate, please remove the pothole around RepliCarter and put her name in quotes.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM Drafts
Please replace the Vampirella entry at Comic Books: I to Z with this.
