Funny / hololive - Mori Calliope Ch.

Go To

  • From her first gameplay stream of an RPG Maker game, Mad Father, Calli attempts to freestyle by using the sound of a toilet lid opening and closing, and it doesn't go over too well. Despite being very good at rapping, she confesses that her freestyle is pretty bad and she needs prep time in order to produce quality work.
Calli (to the beat): Dad is mad/And we don't know why/We're gonna find out/but we'll probably die/I will not rap/Unless I become unhinged/Probably because/My freestyle is... secondhand embarrassing. Stop. We're never doing that again. That is why I don't freestyle... don't ask me again.
  • Calli has a recurring problem of getting overwhelmed by Superchats:
    • After getting a very large donation from a Canadian viewer during the above Mad Father stream, she stops the stream for a second to thank them as well as to not do that again because she got taken aback by the generosity. Within minutes she received several more very large donations, all from Canada, to the point where she had to stop playing and threw some things around in her room in excitement and happiness while begging them to stop. Eventually, she got so overwhelmed that she had to set up a separate stream for reading Superchats.
    • After losing time reading all the Superchats, she swore to only read the red Superchats. So during her second Mad Father session, she gets even more red Superchats from the Canadians. Then, viewers from the United States quickly threw their hats into the ring, not wanting to be outdone. What followed is a Lensman Arms Race (which some people refer to as "simp war"), leading to Calli becoming the most Superchatted YouTuber of that week.
    • During a track-making stream (see below), her constant promotion of the recorder as an instrument that is favored in the underworld led to another donation train of people asking to buy recorders from her, which she punctuated with a very loud "Fuck off!" in astonishment at the generosity. After the stream ended, she had noticed that the most recommended recorder on Amazon Japan had completely sold out. Ina was quick to respond on this with a terrible pun.
    • When she announced that she was hosting a free online concert for October 16/17, 2020, she made it a point that the concert was free to attend...but that didn't stop viewers from facetiously trying to buy tickets by sending her yet another swarm of Superchats.
    • In a free talk stream, Calli's discussion over how she feels 1 month in as well as her opinion on her fellow members of the EN branch gets derailed by another chain of Superchats, to the point where in order to get people to stop donating to her, she decides to break out her recorder and play along with her BGM until people stop throwing money at her. Naturally, her viewers throw even more money at her, thanking her for the impromptu concert. By the time she gives up on the effort, she is both on the verge of sobbing as well as being completely out of breath due to playing for roughly 10 minutes straight.
    • There's at least one instance of someone teasingly asking "Is this 200 yen?"...on a 200 USD Superchat note , much to Calli's bemusement.
  • Her song "Dead Beats" has a few:
    • At the start of the music video, there's a smoke effect, followed by the text "yo f**k this smoke" in Comic Sans at the bottom-left corner of the screen (possibly a reference to smoke VFX in Calli's debut stream that's tanking the framerate) The text stays there the entire time.
    • The following part of the song becomes hilarious when you remember who exactly Calli's sensei is (especially since her reaction implies this isn't unusual advice from them):
Calli: Not a lot that opposers can say/To counterpoint the wise-ass words of my sensei
      Sensei: Skip class.
      Calli: ...Okay, next?
      Sensei: Get ripped.
      Calli: ...eh, thought so.
    • The end of the song has the line "Dead Beats, jerk it now" repeated several times. A second Calli shows up to stop the song and complains that it's so inappropriate, while the Calli who's singing tries to insist there's nothing sexual about it.
  • Calli's first track-making stream has her use multiple implements from around her home to make sounds that will be mixed into her next track.
    • She brings up a metal bowl among the implements. When she taps it, it produces an extremely loud sound, startling both Calli and her audience.
Calli: Now, your boy doesn't quite fancy herself a cook, but take a listen: [CLONK] WAUGH! That was fuckin' loud...
    • One of these implements is a recorder, which she has no idea how to play. The image of her playing the recorder mixed with the sunglasses over her model already invokes memories of Fubuki's "void" stream (see below). But when she looks up how to play the recorder, the instructions she gets involve "blow gently, learn the tonguing technique, learn the fingering chart", which leads to a very flustered reading.
  • After celebrating a 400,000-subscriber milestone on stream, a few hours later she noticed her subscriber count reach another milestone and tweeted out a screenshot of her reaching 420,000 subscribers. She apologized later for being unprofessional, but only after her feed had filled up with people making 420, Blaze It jokes and her responding in kind with smoking emoticons.
  • During a celebratory stream for her EP hitting #1 worldwide and getting 500,000 subscribers, Calli decides to celebrate in style by having a wine party and donning a set of shutter shades, noting their reputation.
Calli (in a soft voice): Do you want to see what I got with my dank rapper money? [pulls out shutter shades] Now, I think everyone needs these for when they hit it big so that everyone knows that you're a certified "cool guy"/huge toolbag.
  • One day, Calli received two kazoos from online shopping. She thought they were broken, since blowing into them produced no sounds. Then someone suggested she hum into the kazoo instead. Hilarity Ensues.
Calli: "Hum into the kazoo"? Okay, fine. [doot] [gasp] [doot doot doot doot] What the f...WHAT?! [continues dooting into the kazoo] ...I hate this. I hate it so much. I ordered another kazoo!
  • In the after-party stream for Cursed Night, Calli officially reveals a new emote to her public at large: A PogChamp with her own face that looks hilariously bizarre. She also repeatedly refers to it as "Champion of the Pog", and even superimposes it over her own face for a bit.
  • During Calli's first session with the platformer rhythm game Mad Rat Dead, she jumps over a gap and ends up killing herself. While this isn't that funny on its own, her justification for it resulted in chat taking the joke and running away with it.
Calli: AUGH! No! I saw myself falling and I thought to myself, "What should I do when I'm falling? [Beat] I should ground pound!" Don't. DON'T. [in a cutesy voice] Don't! Don't. Say. It.
[chat fills up with "GROUND POUND OUR MOMS"]
    Calli: SHUTUP!!!!
  • Calli took her audience out on a date as a way to teach ESL/EFL. In addition to actually trying to teach her audience things like names of locations and food, several key moments of the "date" went hilariously awry.
    • She had to restart the stream due to sound only coming through the right side, in true fashion of an EN stream always having some sort of tech issue.
    • Before beginning the date proper, she started singing "Sandstorm".
    • When she first started and asked where her audience wanted to go (while giving them several options), her viewers immediately tried to choose several options not on her list, such as her bedroom, a love hotel, or Kiara's restaurant.
    • She tried to play Pong with her viewers at the "arcade", which had broken the site that she was using. She also couldn't figure out the controls for quite some time.
    • At the park, she had attempted to say something important to her chat, only to be rudely interrupted by a bird.
    • At the restaurant, chat again started going "off script" and asked if they could have her for dinner instead, still insisting they go to a hotel or her room afterwards.
    • On the walk home through the woods, Ghost Rider appeared and would not leave Calli or her chat alone unless they told him to fuck off. After he left, she grabbed what appeared to be a Pocky off the ground to engage in the Pocky game, only to remark that she had more than likely picked up a stick covered in mud that had fallen from Ghost Rider as he left.
  • At the end of her second concert, Calli once again sang "Sakura Days" and mentioned that she had wanted to try it in the style of enka, or traditional Japanese folk singing. Her attempt made her sound less like a traditional singer and more like an old woman.
  • Since her debut, Calli has been eager to play Persona 3, but getting the streaming rights, especially from Atlus, has been difficult. So she considers ways to "convince" Atlus to give her streaming permission.
    • What would have been a one-off joke was followed up on when she spent an entire stream just asking to play Persona 3. Said stream includes "Burn My Dread" playing backwards, candles, unconventional background with zooming, and chat firing Superchats. She spent a total of one-and-a-half hours begging, only stopping because she got sleepy. It would not be far off to liken it to essentially a cult summoning an outer god.
Kiara: I feel like my brain is coming apart.
  • Calli and her audience write a rap song about getting into a knife fight with a ghost over bread. What was originally a freetalk stream with some discussion on some entries to the rap contest that had not made it into the top 15 but were good enough to promote, She also planned on brainstorming a rap with her chat, and they came up with "Untoasted Bread". The rap itself is a nonsensical fever dream, to the point that Calli, somewhat inebriated, started to recognize what was happening but wouldn't stop until it was done. To acknowledge the work of her audience, she promised to seriously work on "Untoasted Bread" and turn it into a proper track.
  • Calli plays Minecraft again for the first time in a several weeks. But as she loads the world it accidentally generates as a blank endless field of grass. Kiara, in chat, quips "That's almost as flat as Gura." Calli notices and calls her out on it.
  • As part of a brand deal, Calli was asked to choose and read one thing from Bookwalker for her audience. Her choice ended up being My Dad's the Queen of All VTubers?! Aside from the material being very comedic, Calli herself couldn't keep a straight face while reading it and was able to offer some input on her own VTubing experience and how she can relate to the main character. Her chat was in agreement with her, making many jokes about hololive as a whole in relation to how the manga progressed, as well as calling Calli their dad the entire time.
    • One of the chapters she reads covers a side character who streams in the buff. She completely loses her composure with juvenile humor involving slang like "wang" and "nut". She also panics and tries to cover some of the more risque panels with whatever props she has (which ironically makes it look even worse than it actually is), all while laughing the whole time.
    • Near the end of the Superchat reading, one comment dismisses her performance, prompting an extremely snappy reply from Calli.
Calli: "My friend plays the recorder better" Hey, fuck your friend! [starts furiously blowing her flute]
  • After addressing her viewers at the start of her Blasphemous playthrough, Calli activates the transition to go to the game... and ends up in the blank field of grass from her last Minecraft stream.
    Calli: ...hah?
  • Upon her return to Minecraft, Calli discovered that Ina had left her a horse named Adam Saddler. Within 10 minutes, she gets on a minecart and forgets that the horse is still tethered to her, accidentally killing it. She then screams in anguish at the setting sun and starts to cry, lamenting the loss of her horse for most of the stream afterward.
  • Calli's trouble with corkscrews continue - after yet again failing to open a wine bottle with one, someone suggested that she T-pose in front of the bottle "to assert dominance" and then attempt to open the bottle again. It surprisingly worked, with artist renditions of the event gaining a bit of traction.
  • During a Blasphemous stream, Calli had to take an extended leave. After she had left, her chat started spamming "Sandliope", a new emote made for her that was her hair and outfit on Adam Sandler Explanation. Upon her return and seeing all the spam, she acted very much like an angry father.
Calli: What. The FUCK?! Did I say? Deadbeats. Beats? Beats?! [angry "guh"] I can take him away, I have that power. [reads a chat message] "Welcome back, my queen." [cheerfully]'' Hi, I'm back!
  • During a Marshmallow Q&A session, she had the idea of taking a shot whenever she got a question that was at least 4 lines long. In addition to getting fairly tipsy, she also included two poorly-typed insults as a way of showing her audience irrefutable proof that children watch her streams.
  • Like Kiara, Calli also gets Lamar-roasted during a Superchat-reading segment. Unlike Kiara, however, Calli actually knows about the meme, laughs about it after she finishes, and even asks if the fans are intending on ambushing the rest of the EN girls with this.
Calli: [chuckling] Someone's gonna have a field day putting all those together.
  • At one point during her 1 million subscribers marathon stream, she briefly stepped away from the computer to supposedly wash her hands. When someone in the chat expressed doubt, she didn't take it well.
Calli: ""wash your hands" yeah sure" You calling me a liar? Are you calling me a liar, you insolent fuck?
    • At another point, the chat started asking Calli if she is a shotacon (due to her previously stating that likes people who are shorter than her). When she tried to clarify that she likes the gap in people who are both short but also mature and "alpha", the chat started joking about pairing her up with Tyler 1 and Danny DeVito, which she reluctantly found Actually Pretty Funny before acting like the chat was bullying her.
  • During a wine party stream, someone in the chat mentioned the notion of Calli making AMVs (animated music videos). When Calli tried to deny it, she accidentally phrased it as "AVs" (adult videos, a Japanese euphemism for pornography). Naturally, the chat had a field day with it.
    Chat: Adam Sandler AV?
  • Calli narrowly avoids a That Came Out Wrong moment while playing Slither.io after another snake collides with her body and dies.
Calli: Now, Deadbeats, if I don't see about fifty of you filing in and absolutely ramming your bodies int- into my- into my snake! We're gonna have a problem here.
  • Calli promised to properly say "Ara ara" in celebration of 1,000,000 subscribers, and she keeps her word.
    Calli: Ara ara!~
    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...bitch.
    • She did the same thing after hitting 2 million, except she said "Moe moe kyun!" instead.
  • After the collab with Kiara on Papers, Please, Calli went on to play the rest of the game by herself, keeping the cowboy hat and maintaining the Deep South sheriff accent for most of the stream.
    • She checked a woman named Jo Suke, and instinctively called her "Josuke". The chat erupted.
    • One of the entrants had an erroneous weight. She scans her, hoping to find contraband... but the scanner turns up with nothing, and Calli awkwardly tiptoes around the overweight-looking entrant having put on a few kilos. After letting the entrant through, she still gets a citation because the entrant mis-stated her purpose of visit.
    • Even playing the game in its original English can't stop Calli from falling into the same pitfall as the other girls - when Calensk tells her to cut the wires in order, she does so from left to right. The chat not only burst into roaring laughter, but also started quoting her Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes collab with Korone: "I'm die, thank you forever."
    • When her in-game son's birthday approaches, she saves up to buy crayons for him. For the occasion, she also gleefully embraces her "Dad" status for the chat. When Dimitri penalizes her for unofficial wall hangings while she's Squeeing over the crayon drawing, she decides It's Personal and decides to not side with the Arstotzkan government.
      • When one of the entrants mocks the drawing, Calli pays extra scrutiny to his documents in the hopes of finding a discrepancy to detain him for. Sure enough, Laser-Guided Karma hits the entrant hard and Calli is amused as he desperately tries to retract his comments as he is led out of the booth.
      • Later in the game, when Dimitri punishes her for having unauthorized hangings a second time, the chat apologizes for "landing Dad in jail".
  • For Valentine's Day 2021, as a way to reciprocate Kiara making homemade chocolates for her on stream, Calli decides to make her own and show off the final product to her audience. Even though it was an incredibly kind gesture, it's about as scuffed as one would expect from someone who admits to not knowing her way around a kitchen. Calli spends a good deal of time afterwards trying to justify the questionable craftsmanship to her audience as well as asserting that it's "friendship chocolate." Explanation
  • Calli got early access to the Guilty Gear Strive Beta and decided to show it off in a stream, being a big fan of the franchise. She then spends half an hour losing to a CPU May, complaining about her dolphins the entire time. During the matches, her chat spammed dolphin and whale emotes to further exacerbate her.
  • When she reaches Faraway Town in OMORI, Calli tries her hand at the various odd jobs offered and ends up having to rid the supermarket of flies, done through RPG battles against the comically harmless bugs. Except she didn't heal after getting HP to One'd previously, treating us to the wonderful sight of a teenager slapping himself in the face and dying instantly while trying to squash an insect.
    • When she enters an NPC's house she discovers a very untidy room with a "Creepy Guy" engaged in online discourse and speaking only pretentious vocabulary. Several members of the chat erupt in "HEY LOOK IT'S ME!"
    • A bit later, she expresses her disappointment that Kel hit a growth spurt, only to immediately have to backtrack when her chat starts joking about her being a shotacon. She starts making excuses about how she likes the gap moe of someone who's "short but mature". Cue more teasing, about how people like Gura or Danny DeVito are totally her type.
      Calli: "Lord Farqua"-NOOOOO!
    • When exploring Basil's house, she gets excited about the opportunity to snoop. Or, in her words, "snooooooooooooooooooooop". She drags out the "oo" for as long as she can, only interrupted when she encounters the white egret in Basil's Grandma's bedroom.
    • When she escapes Sweetheart's Castle, she enters a tunnel filled with poorly-written fan mail from various Sprout Moles, directed to Sweetheart. Various individuals in the audience can't help but comment that the fan mail is no different from Superchats.
    • At Sweetheart's wedding, where she chooses to marry herself, someone points out "this is a next level of sad, even for us." Kel laughs at Sweetheart's narcissism, which gets Calli to crack up and prompts various comments of "BASED." When Aubrey interrupts the wedding, a comment quips "Aubrey, you're not an ogre, you can't just burst into weddings."
    • At a given point, she's accosted by a group of five hooligans at once - at which point she deploys the Pepper Spray she had in her inventory and instantly wins, sending her into a laughing fit ("Everyone's Gucci until the pepper spray comes out!"). And then she goes on a brief tangent of one time as a kid where she decided to take Mama Reaper's pepper spray and spray some in the sink to see if it was really that bad, only to be forced to evacuate the house and stay at Grandma Reaper's because it was that bad.
    • Berly agrees to let her into the concierge of the Last Resort, but only if she is given some bottled water first. Calli gives out one of the longest "guh"s the Deadbeats have ever heard, and extends it for maximum comedic effect. And much to her frustration, the NPCs offer a jacked-up price for it when she really needs it.
    • When she comes face-to-face with Mr. Jawsum, the chat starts calling him "Gura's dad". After defeating him and Pluto, Calli checks the portrait behind Jawsum's desk, revealing it to be one akin to a family photo. Chat erupted in "dad" jokes, and Calli responded in kind: "Dad is sad, and now we know why!"
  • During her playthrough of Ao Oni, she wanders the mansion looking for Takuro. She gets bored and drags out his name into a very long "aaaaaaa", which then turns into a genuine scream when the titular monster jump-scares her.
  • During one of her streams, Calli mentioned how she would use Duolingo to try and learn some German to surprise Kiara. But as she would be doing this during a stream, she put it on her schedule, meaning that Kiara found out almost immediately. When Kiara later mentioned it during one of her own streams, she was shocked when the chat told her it was supposed to be a surprise, and asked why Calli would put it on her schedule if that was the case.
  • For April Fool's 2021, two fans edited their Twitter accounts to be copies of Calli's and Kiara's and made posts in-character that managed to fool both of the real deals.
  • During a Minecraft stream, Calli starts chopping down a tree for its wood. Kiara informs her that not only was she chopping a tree that belonged to Gura, she was chopping Gura's Christmas tree. Cue Calli scrambling to fix her mistake. Made doubly funny because it actually wasn't the tree Gura had designated as her Christmas tree (which the crew never ended up using either), but just the random byproduct of her experimenting with megatrees. She probably would've let Calli have it and later chopped it down herself off-stream.
  • During Calli's 2021 birthday stream, she revealed some of her first merchandise: a body pillow/hug pillow with two images of her on it. Cue the chat filling with comments of how lewd it looks, especially the second of the two images.
Calli: It's not lewd! ... There's nothing lewd about it! Stop it!
  • While playing Spiritfarer, Calli had to go AFK to answer the doorbell, so her avatar slumped over. This was also the stream that she debuted her "gamer hands", which was just a pair of animated hands playing on a controller. Cue the chat's response.
Kiara: Hands still playing, what a pro gamer.
    • Some of the audience mention that their own gaming posture is not like how Calli depicts hers, so Calli mimics crouching over the controller by bringing her hands up to face-level, detaching them at the elbows.
    • Calli pauses for a bit to answer the door and, when she gets back, she mentions that it took a while because she had to put on pants. She realizes what she said, then alternates between denying that she was without trousers and justifying going without. She panics at getting a message before realizing that it was just from a friend and not J-Chad coming to bonk her.
  • In early April 2021, Calli decided to remove the "Sandliope" emote, and did so in the most outlandish way possible: an Adam Sandler movie watchalong followed by a banishing ritual to send Sandliope to the depths of Hell.
  • In part two of her My Dad's the Queen of All VTubers read-along, the memes in the translation really pick up, providing for a hilarious time for everyone involved.
    • In a chapter that flashes back to when Takashi's parents first met, his father tells his mother that becoming an idol may not be all it's worked up to be, warning of "getting lured into an exploitative company". The audience began suspecting the translation of veiled digs at Cover.
    • Through sheer coincidence, Takashi's Double Take in one panel is vocalized as "Guh!" The chat began joking that the translator is a fellow Deadbeat. Even better, said translator later confirmed that it was an intentional Shout-Out to Calli.
    • Takashimizu tries acting out a Gyaru Girl persona for a VTuber avatar, and the first things she says is a mixture of Jive Turkey and Valley Girl, One of the viewers compares her to Calli herself, especially when she refers to herself as "ya girl", something Calli got incredibly defensive over.
  • While playing Journey (2012) and just enjoying the scenery with her anonymous partner, they come across an enclosed room high up in the middle of some ascending platforms. Calli muses that it would make a great place to fight.
Calli: [completely zenned out] This is a great place to fight, you wanna throw hands?
  • A viewer sends a Superchat marriage proposal meant for J-Chad, and actually gets a response.
Calli: [laughs] She messaged me saying "What a G!"
  • During the "Truth" section of Misao, Calli and the chat mutually agree that Sohta's backstory does not justify the heinous acts they commit during the main game. However, when chat starts to call said villain's hand obsession creepy, Calli calls out their kink shaming by pointing out the fanbase's own attitude concerning armpits and/or feet. Chat is forced to concede that she has a point.
  • Nearly an hour into her April 24, 2021 chat stream with members, she recounts how she stayed up for Suisei's English learning stream and gets confused by the chat spamming "Hi Honey" until she remembers it was the main highlight of that stream. She repeats the sentence, but stops herself when trying to add something after it... which is implied to be "I'm Dad", considering what Ollie types when she barges into Calli's chat moments later.
Calli: "Hi honey, I'm-"... I'm not gonna say that.
    Ollie: HI HONEY DADDY
Calli: Ollie! [reads Ollie's message] NO! OLLIE! [wheezes] Wait... OK, never mind, you're fine, you didn't say what I was gonna say, never mind.
  • While playing New Pokémon Snap, Calli complimented the professor's cowlick, but when she tried using the Japanese term, "ahoge", she stumbled over her words, accidentally phrasing it as "ahegao" and "eroge".
Calli: By the way, this is a children's game, everyone.
  • In her playthrough of Resident Evil Village, she immediately pegs Heisenberg for a Bloodborne character. She treats being impaled by him as being rude like it's a social faux pas.
  • While playing Friday Night Funkin', Calli kept losing to Tankman, who kept insulting her when she lost. One such game over called out Calli directly and had the chat roaring.
  • At the very end of her May 21, 2021 "SUPER CHAT DRINKING GAME" stream, Calli promises to keep talking for a while to her fans, only to be interrupted by her own outro.
Calli: I'm your Mori, and I hope you'll remember me. Um, I'm gonna continue talking because—[outro screen rolls over] Fuck you! Fuck this outro! No, I wanna keep talking— Thank you guys for always supporting me.
  • After returning from a week-long break, the first thing Calli does is to embrace her "dad" status by giving chat a carton of milk because they keep asking for it.
  • In Part 1 of her Everhood stream, when she gets to the Gnomes stage, she is quite freaked out at the Mushroom Samba-esque visuals of the level, and even gets just as freaked out at the Buddha head, that for a brief second she thought was YAGOO.
"How is it for example a game like Resident Evil 8 I barely screamed, but then you give me a game like this! Spooky magical forest creatures here."
  • Calli's mystery guest for a Shadowverse stream is Garnt. Of course, the Trash Taste memes were aplenty throughout the stream, but Calli mispronounces his name as "Grant" a few times. This gets merged with Garnt's in-game Grand Master rank to form "Grantmaster". Garnt comments that he won't be hearing the end of that one.
Garnt: This is not the cultural cross-pollination I wished for.
  • In her stream for the demo of Scarlet Nexus, she very proudly displays her gamer tag - "GrimRapper69750" - and very quickly comes to regret it when she's immediately hit with friend requests.
Calli: You guys like it? My gamer tag is "GrimRapper69", and then they gave me the "750". A lot of people like to include the 6 and the- [two "[user name] added you as their friend" notifications pop up] ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!
  • While playing Bleach: Brave Souls with Kiara, Calli recalls a time where she and Papa Reaper would watch anime together, and one time while watching Bleach he said that if he had an Ultimate Technique it would be his sword turning into a piano, and if he pressed even one key everyone in the world would die. Calli was flabbergasted by this.
  • During an unarchived karaoke stream, she sings "Renai Circulation", but starts to slip in memetic parodies of the song. She even says they're the "superior versions"!
  • In a sponsored stream for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, she starts by going to the Character Creator to make Malliope Cori, Star Sheriff. While some of the options do make her chuckle and giggle, the mouth in particular puts her into hysterics.
  • During her Staring Contest stream, she attempted to make chat laugh by reading a classic work of literature - that is to say, she tried to read Half-Life: Full Life Consequences. She barely got a few chapters in before stopping as she was the one about to crack up. Then she moved onto the famous "Shrek is love, Shrek is life" copypasta, but once it gets to the uh...inappropriate part, she censors it so that it sounds like the protagonist is playing Leapfrog with Shrek. All while trying very hard to not burst into laughter, thus breaking her concentration.
  • Calli's first playthrough stream for The Henry Stickmin Collection has her going through the various routes blind, and she ends up picking the "Disguise" option in Infiltrating the Airship just so she can wear a top hat (for context, she'd been mesmerized by the Toppat Clan's bling throughout the playthrough) to her glee. While Henry's disguise works, it's only because the boardroom members mistake him for Smith who, as Henry is told, has just had his wife gone into labor. So he gets led into an escape pod to go meet her, with the FAIL Screen sarcastically congratulating him and wishing him a "Happy Father's Day"...the latter of which prompts the predictable response from both Calli and the chat.
  • Throughout Calli's second Henry Stickmin playthrough, the chat pestered her to pick the famous "Spirit Forme" fail. Towards the end of the stream, she finally relents and picks the option... only to cut it off after seven seconds.
Calli: [clapping] Oh, look at them! Look at them get so mad! Oh, beautiful!note
  • In her stream of Idol Manager, Calli names her rival for EnMa but the name order formatting renders it as Ma En.
Calli: Who is Ma En?! Nooooo! It's EnMa! Listen, it's EnMa! ... Guh.
  • During another Doom Eternal stream, Calli plays with the megaphone filter, making it sound like she's speaking through the helmet of the Doomguy's armor. Except that this was all an accident and she didn't realize until well into the stream.
  • Calli got a massage that involved the masseuse stepping on her and tweets out that she finally understands why her chat keeps asking her to do that to them.
  • During her stream where she played Smol Ame (the fan game platformer based on Walfie's Super-Deformed rendition of Amelia), Calli at one point found what the game called the "Rushia level", and said "Ooh, this should be fun!" ...only for the game to reveal that the Rushia level is literally completely flat and two-dimensional. Calli promptly switches her Walfie avatar's eyes from vertical slits to tiny pinpricks in a silent Oh, Crap! moment.
    • There were also moments where she had trouble with the platforming gameplay, to the point where she was swearing and screaming so loudly that her microphone was peaking. But because she was using her Walfie avatar, this audible rage was accompanied by the image of a Super-Deformed Calli sitting in the corner still making a :D face.
  • During Calli's 10 hour Minecraft endurance stream, Gura joins late, and sleep deprivation is starting to get to Calli. Gura mentions she has some Red Bull, with Calli asking if she can join with a "fresh Bang", prompting a Flat "What" from Gura. Later the discussion switches to the different flavors of the drink, and Gura reacts with revulsion as Calli names off her sweet-sounding favorites, until she exclaims "You have the palate of a six-year-old!"
  • Calli held a rap karaoke session, and put a little twist to it by switching some lyrics to be more applicable to her and the Deadbeats. She also sanitized some lyrics to keep the video monetization-friendly, resulting in things like "stalk you and masturbate" turning into "stalk you and go fishing", or "I'm into having sex I'm not into making love" becoming "I'm hanging out with Shrek I'm not into making love".
  • The first game she plays on a Calli fan games stream is an itch.io RPG named holo dungeon. She loses it when she finally gets to the point where her character is introduced, as the whole scene is lifted straight from Amelia's AI Dungeon playthrough. The scene ends with the game author's interpretation of Calli literally flying away from Kiara at the sight of her — Calli's text box is nothing but Visible Silence as she unceremoniously slides off the top of the frame, only to slide back in, shout "LOVE YOU" at Kiara, then slide back out just as quickly.
  • Calli's Jump King streams are not actually proper collabs, but they turn into podcasts as she frequently streams while having her voice chat open for any of the other talents to jump in and talk about random things.
    • It all begins on Calli's October 15, 2021 stream with Baelz and IRyS.
      • When discussing books they read as kids, Calli brings up Captain Underpants which Bae happily remembers too. IRyS, unfamiliar with the series, tries to Google it, but misheard it as "Cats In Underpants" and found some really odd photos. Calli and Bae completely lose it.
      • When discussing Sailor Moon, Calli brings up her greatest memory about it. She got into an argument with her younger sister about who should play Sailor Moon, and ended up pushing her into the bed frame and breaking her nose.
      • IRyS and Bae geek out over the fact that Fubuki and Marine once interviewed Tomokazu Sugita on their radio show before discussing their favorite seiyuu, all while Calli is suffering in the background.
    • From her stream on Oct 29 2021:
      • Kiara asks how close Calli is to beating the game. When Calli says that she's about halfway done, Kiara first expresses disbelief that Calli has played for over 15 hours and only gotten so far. Kiara then states that she ought to be more supportive, saying that Calli will totally beat the game within the next hour.
      • After a series of falls, Kiara does an impomptu cheer for Calli.
      • Calli and Gura talk about the Cars series, and Calli brings up that the latest film had a really dramatic trailer. They try to figure out which film it's from, and think at first that it comes from Cars 4. Gura searches for "Cars 4 poster" and comes across a DeviantArt piece that leaves the two reeling in laughter. Calli's next response is to adjust her chair and make a very audible rubbing sound. They're then informed that Cars 4 doesn't exist.
      • Calli steps away for a moment and tells Gura to not say anything weird. Gura takes the opportunity to tell chat that fanart exists of Calli as a ring-tailed lemur. When Calli returns, she talks about the time she said her fursona would be a ring-tailed lemur.
      • When Ollie joins, she asks if Calli has been drinking. Calli then talks about a vodka and Red Bull concoction she mixed earlier. Ollie clarifies that she meant if Calli was drinking water.
      • Gura asked if Calli ever makes exaggerated facial expression out in the wild (out of habit from overacting to get their Live2D models to respond). Calli says she doesn't, but relates a story of making such a face to get a good "selfie" for her twitter while at the salon, only to find the hairdressers all giving her funny looks.
    • From Calli's November 2, 2021 Jump King stream with open voice chat:
    • In the November 17, 2021 stream:
      • Bae joins the call. Calli talks about their upcoming Pet Review collab, but also says that she's not going to be drinking much as she's trying a more sober lifestyle. Chat jumps to the conclusion that she is pregnant, and she's immediately laughing about the lines of logic some people take to get there. She also goes into a short tangent about the time that she said "I would know" when explaining to Gura what a placenta is and the fan theories that Calli has kids of her own that sprouted from this offhand comment, and Bae chimes in with the memetic permutations of "pregnant".
Bae: You heard it here, she's not pregananat, chat, she's not pregananat.
      • Bae talks about a "smol brain" moment she had while playing Evil God Korone. She runs across a banner that reads "Korone's The People's Dishes", but due to how the banner is formatted, she reads the last word as "Dis Hes" and can't figure out what it means. Only to slam her desk in annoyance once she figures it out. She shows the pic to Calli and she instantly sees it as "dishes", much to Bae's dismay.
    • From the January 18, 2022 stream:
  • Calli lines up several streams to play EarthBound and there's plenty of jokes to be had.
    • Her party (Ness, Paula, Jeff, Poo) is named "CHAD" (allcaps necessary), "Stacy", "Steve", and "Snoop". She even notes that "Snoop" backwards contains "Poo". She tries to name the dog "Adam Sandler" but due to lack of space she settles with "Adam". The favourite item is "Shrek" — cue the inevitable "PSI Shrek".
    • The Greek Letter Ranks of EarthBound's PSI system make for plenty of "alpha male beta male" jokes that a stereotypical Chad would be associated with.
    • She faces off agains the Titanic Ant, the first of the Sanctuary Bosses. When the theme's main melody kicks in, half the chat starts bopping to its catchiness, while the other half of chat immediately reacts with the meme it's associated with.
      Chat: w h a t
    • Ness's father makes the protagonist loaded due to the amount of grinding Calli's been doing. Calli ponders about the steep rest prices at Happy Happy Village, only to shrug it off with a "whatever, it's Dad's money." She then turns around and begs chat not to think so callously about others' money like that.
    • Chat jokes that Ness's father can fund his adventures because he's a VTuber and he's giving his son some of his Superchat earnings. Calli eventually concedes to this thought.
Calli: Maybe Dad really is the queen of all VTubers, that's how he can fund CHAD.
    • Once she recruits Stacy, she trains her up a few levels to match the disparity, then heads back to buy her some new equipment. Since CHAD's loaded due to the grinding that's been happening, Calli ad-libs some flirtatious dialogue to the sequence, making it sound like CHAD is Stacy's sugar daddy. This time, instead of CHAD begging Dad to stop depositing money in his savings, Stacy is now begging CHAD to stop showering her with whatever his funds could afford.
    • After getting ambushed in Threed, Stacy sends off a psychic call for help to Steve. With a slip of a tongue, Calli accidentally calls him Steve Jobs.
    • When the Runaway Five play on their song on-stage (multiple times), she improvises lyrics to accompany the melody, which includes joking about them being a million dollars in debt. She comes up with a line that ends with "shank her", but breaks into laughter trying to rhyme when she's out of family-friendly options.
    • At the start of her finale stream, she gets informed of a SiIvaGunner rip that blends "Dead Beats" with EarthBound's bus theme. She's equal parts amused and impressed.
    • She gets creeped out by the appearance of the Mr. Moon enemy. Some of chat make comparisons to Pluto from OMORI, and chat begins filling with flexing jokes.
    • When she reaches Magicant and chances on the Flying Men, she calls them "really buff KFP employees" due to their chicken-like appearance and built physique.
    • She gets CHAD to consume a large pizza to free up space. Since it's a group item the game reads "CHAD ate a Large Pizza together." The chat catches on to the mental image of CHAD just eating a dish meant for up to four all on his own, echoing "that's a mood". Moments later CHAD gets brought near death by a troubesome random encounter and Calli notes in hindsight that she should've saved that pizza for this moment.
    • When she finally defeats the Mani Mani Statue and CHAD gets a massive power boost, chat begins revelling in the consecutive power boosts, joking that CHAD is "going super saiyan" or "becoming Giga-Chad". When she later understands CHAD's newfound healing and spellcasting capacity she remarks "I have so much PP it's ridiculous", leading to chat to fill with "big PP energy" jokes to complement the Giga-Chad.
    • When in the Stonehenge Base, a lot of enemies have the PSI Magnet ability, which drains the characters' PP, which is annoying. So Calli gets frustrated and shouts "Stop sucking my PP!" It took a second for her to realize what it was she just said.
    • In the credits roll call, the unseen father is represented by the phone he's been calling through. The immediate joke is "My dad is a phone!"
  • While playing her Nuzlocke of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, she says she wants to name her rival "Chad", but "accidentally" names him "Chat" instead.
Calli: Is this just an excuse for me to yell "F you, Chat!"? Who can say?
    • When the rival's mother shows up during a story scene, Calli muses "Oh, it's Chat's mom. Oh shit, where's Amelia? I haven't seen her in a while."
    • All her Pokémon are given rapper name puns. Anyone that gets fainted (and becomes unusable afterwards) is placed in a box named "Gangsta's Paradise".
    • During her shiny Giratina hunting-only stream on December 10, 2021, someone in the chat asks who has the best "ara ara." While she's musing over it, a seemingly disembodied voice whispers "ara ara" in the voice chat. Callie immediately freaks out and demands to know who it was. She knows it was someone in EN, as they have access to the EN voice chat. She knows it wasn't Kiara just by the voice, and eliminates most of the girls by time zones and sleeping schedules. Someone in the chat jokes she needs medication.
Calli: Meds? No thank you, I have something called alcohol, I'm fine.
    • The culprit turns out to be Ame, who decided to check in and do one last troll before going to bed.
    • Earlier in the Giratina stream, she was chatting with Mumei about the roles she got in high school, and how every one was basically "sexy X who sings". She even recieved "sexy lessons" and couldn't "roll her hips". Mumei completely loses it as Calli keeps telling the story, and meekly admits that she only played Annie.
  • Calli hosts a holiday party involving karaoke, tree adornment decorating, ugly sweater reviews, and more. One fan submits a tree bauble designed after Bloop, to which Calli does a cute impression of Gura's speech patterns. The next adornment was a bauble of Calli recreated in the image of Shrek. Cue a muffled off-camera scream in what can best be described as Calli doing an impression of Amelia doing an impression of R2-D2.
  • During an English lesson stream where she roleplays going out to an izakaya, she teaches the word "yummy", using natto of all thingsnote  to describe as yummy. But then the chat calls her yummy and she loses it, and they also call sleep yummy (a Call-Back to a prior stream where she threatened to kill anyone who calls non-food items "delicious" after someone in a superchat mentioned "delicious naps"). When she finally gets the lesson back on track, she finds it "unbelievable" that the chat doesn't like natto.
Calli: "Yummy sleep" — NO!! Only food! ONLY FOOD.
Calli: You don't like natto? You don't. Like. Natto? Unbelievable. Un. Believable.
  • During her "Just Mori" stream, Calli says that the nature of the Eldritch Location that she's in is making her have dark thoughts. At first, Calli tells the chat to compliment her, or else she'll "come to your house and beat the shit out of you". Calli then says that wants to grab all of her deadbeats by the throat, lift them like basketballs, and hit them with the chaos dunk from Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden. That's funny enough, but the reaction from her chat is asking Calli to do all of that.
  • Calli streams NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD and the jokes drawing parallels between current chat and in-game chat are naturally abound.
    • Ame (the protagonist) introduces herself as someone who Desperately Craves Affection but is also self-deprecating. The chat fills with comments of "Is this a female version of me?"
    • Calli adopts the P-Chan nickname (for the player character) as short for CallioP, and interprets Ame's dependency like consulting for advice given Calli's own experience. Meanwhile, chat compares it to "J-Chad Simulator".
    • When Calli accidentally highlights a rude superchat and realizes she can't undo it she starts stressing out over it. However, KAngel gets a snappy comeback in, causing her to cheer.
    • KAngel asks P-Chan to type a post on /st/ for her. Calli considers going with "y'all cowards don't even smoke crack" and "I'm her boyfriend" before choosing the highly implausible "she is almost as cute as Shrek. I'd fuck." In addition, Calli's wheezing noises in response to the second and third posts are nearly as funny as the jokes themselves.
    • Mumei taps into the chat when Ame is going in on a conspiracy stream, is performing in a suggestive stream, or is having offscreen sex with P-Chan. Chat gets anxious about Mumei "getting ideas". A few hours later, Mumei reveals her intent to stream the game too, causing a flurry of anticipation for different reasons.
    • As KAngel thanks her in-universe viewers for 100,000 subs, Calli goes to order lunch and improvs a song about chicken and salad.
    • Calli's second playthrough ends prematurely because she chose the 5th Sexy Stream. Chat erupts with jokes about getting bonked by YouTube.
  • She announced in her February 26, 2022 zatsudan that she would be doing an English practice stream with La+, Iroha and Gura, mentioning that she would love to see about Dual Wielding the two tiny members in that group and promising that she wouldn't throw them very far as they're needed for experiments and future yeeting.
  • Calli's streams of Elden Ring are full of laughs:
    • Right off the bat she designs her character to be like Adam Sandler. Then she reads that some of her audience is a little disappointed that she's not basing her character off herself, so she strikes a compromise by giving the character pink hair and a single red eye that makes it look like part of her is trying to bust through. She also cranks up the character's thigh size to give him "tree trunk thighs" just like in Jump King.
    • At one point while baiting out the Troll at Gatefront, Calli's controller ran out of batteries after she escaped danger. She panicked and scrambled for the charger, but she was too late as a bunch of knights killed her while trying to plug her controller. She's especially amused at how the troll would wait for her to return to its territory but the soldiers are more than keen to kick her when she's down.
    • After clearing out the ruins in lake Agheel she opens the door to find a chest. Immediately she's wary of whether it's a mimic. Chat reassures her, and she opens it to be teleported into the Sellia Crystal Cave. As she gets harassed by the Kindred of Rot on her way out she manages to deftly dodge past its homing projectiles and gets cocky about it... only to be struck by the next wave of projectiles.
    • Some of the in-game messages and Bloodstains from other players that Calli viewed are prety hilarious, from "Could this be a cave?" inside a cave to dog warnings on anything that clearly isn't one. At one point during her fourth Elden Ring stream, Calli went up a tower to acquire a unique spell and found Bloodstain of a random player who jumped off the tower (persumably after doing the same thing as Calli) instead of going back down the staircase they came from.
    • When she spots the Tibia Mariner she nicknames him "Steve from work" (alluding to the River Styx ferryman) and is initially reluctant to throw hands with a "coworker". Once she does so and takes him out, she gets the Skeletal Militia Ashes and is excited at the prospect of summoning the Deadbeats to boss fights.
    • She comes face-to-face with a Crucible Knight in Stormveil Castle, and after a few failed attempts she tries out a Cheese Strategy at chat's request, baiting it to the elevator and goading it to falling into the empty shaft. She's amused that it works.
    • Upon finding the Mimic Veil, she uses it to transform into a small tree and can't help but laugh at how it works.
    • After struggling with the Ancestral Bowmen in Siofra River, Calli painstakingly makes it to the northern elevator, hoping to be taken up into a new area. When it turns out that it brings her to Caelid, she goes completely silent for a good few seconds while chat bursts out in "DJ CAELID"
    • Shortly after entering Caria Manor, Calli tempts fate just a little too blatantly, and gets set upon by the Spider Hands for the first time, sending her screaming back out the door. Chat was quick to make "hand" puns throughout the entire thing.
    • When she faces scarlet rot zombies in Caelid and gets hassled by their grab attack, she interprets the scarlet rot icon as "getting eggs laid in her". Cue chat deliberately taking this out of context and Calli angrily bonking them.
    • During Calli's tenth stream, she fights what chat calls an incredibly weak boss. That boss turned out to be the Mimic Tear, a Mirror Boss that duplicates Adam Sandler's abilities. Calli quickly realizes the implication, but her angry protests are undermined by the fact that the boss goes down easily.
    • Also during that stream, Calli squees over some ostensible penguins, and uncharacteristically demurs when asked to yeet them. After realizing that they aren't penguins, and can in all likelihood fly, Calli butchers the peaceful birds for the "crime" of not being penguins.
Calli: Look, they're just chillin' in their home. Look, they're my friends. We're just like hanging, they're not even hurting me. God, look at how cute...
[Calli scoots closer to the bird]
Calli: And I shall name you "Happy."
[bird flaps its wings, revealing it's not a penguin]
Calli: Wait, this isn't a penguin. That's just a fucking bird. Penguins have flippers; you have wings! Fuck you. [kills "Happy"]
    • Her eleventh stream has her play with a couple of viewers. When she comes speaking to an NPC, it takes her a while to notice that her companions are standing in the background doing a T-pose.
    • During an attempt to beat the Valiant Gargoyle, a deliveryman pin pon'd Calli. As Calli had to sign for her package, this doomed an already troubled operation, much to Calli's dismay. Upon returning, Calli refused to say what happened to the deliveryman, for fear of incurring Death-sensei's displeasure. Her casual snacking only added menace to the situation. She also indicated that she did nothing to the hapless deliveryman, a fairly enigmatic resolution to the story.
    • For her twelfth stream, Calli spends an hour exploring the Gelmir Hero's Grave, and becomes increasingly tilted by the experience. She even gets some Ironic Last Words in, claiming to know a pattern she had not, in fact, fully mastered, and dying immediately afterward.
Darts out and is hit by a Chariot.
      Calli: No are you fucking-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
    • During her eighteenth stream, Calli made a ton of progress, but was more disturbed by the bosses than usual. Pretty ironic considering she beat Malenia, the game's hardest boss, in her previous stream.
      • Calli repeatedly shrieked in terror at the Fire Giant's appearance during his second stage.
      • When fighting a dragon, Calli revealed that she finds dragons much scarier than any Eldritch Abomination.
      • Against the Godskin Duo, she lost her marbles when they revived each other, raging that they were misnamed, and should be called quintuplets because there were four of them. Once she remembered that "quint" means five, she tried to think of "quadruplets," failed, and yelled "there's four of them" in frustration.
  • After several videos of playing Elden Ring, Calli hits a case of Damn You, Muscle Memory! with Bloodborne. Even when the game says "Press X to interact with the environment," she presses triangle instead, which was the interact button in Elden Ring, making her waste another blood vial and scream in frustration.
  • Calvin Morrison takes over Calli's Youtube and Twitter accounts, releases three songs, and makes his grand debut. All on April Fool's Day.
    • One of Calvin's nicknames is "C-Man" and the eponymous song plays up the Double Entendre for all it's worth.
I think they beggin' for C-Man
These rappers want their songs covered by C-Man
Every time I say "C-Man", they crack a smile
    • Partway through "C-Man", Calvin tries to take a piss but the engineer forgets to turn off the mic. Calvin tries to explain himself.
Uhhh, no. I did not pee in the studio
Felt like leaving a little C-Man cuz we on the go
C-Man on the walls, little bit on the floor
Get the C-Man on the engineer who can't shut the door
  • Calli's 2022 Pre-Birthday stream where she takes calls from friends.
    • Because she's using her 3D model for the stream, Calli is able to move around and do the iconic pose from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, usually while singing "JOJO SONO CHINO SADAME".
    • La+ calls in, and Calli asks again if she can throw her. La+ makes use of her English lesson and says "Yeah... no!", repeatedly refusing Calli's pleas.
    • Korone couldn't call in, but she did provide a video. Sporting a pink wig and scythe to match the birthday girl.
    • Marine calls in, and gives her the gift of a pirate hat. On the condition that she gives a sexy moan. Calli attempts to avoid this by moaning like an old woman, and even delivering Marine's signature line ("I'm horny!") as an old woman. An unamused Marine threatens to break off their relationship if she doesn't do it properly, so Calli provides a sexy (yet scared) moan.
    • Mumei calls in and provides a drawing as a gift. Calli is excited to get some nightmare fuel, but Mumei reveals she drew a normal picture of her.
  • Calli's post-birthday stream had a lot of heartwarming moments, but also some very funny ones.
    • During a lyric dive into CapSule, her collab with Suisei, Calli improvises a version of it called "Lawnmower," expressing regret at not giving that name to the real song.
  • The "Meet Mama Mori" has a Q&A session.
  • Calli's stream of Vampire Survivors is consistently funny, but once Bae and Mumei show up in voice chat, it becomes a Jump King-tier Seinfeldian Conversation.
    • While discussing apples, Calli astonishes Bae by revealing that "Mac" (as in the Apple computer) is short for "Macintosh". Calli is in turn sent by what a Zoomer Bae is.
Calli, quoting chat: "I'm turning to dust!" Yeah, me too. Hahahahaha, me too!
    • At one point Mumei brings up a Tarzan Yell compilation and how it just makes people laugh no matter what. It gets funnier when Calli gets excited over a chest containing multiple items, going "monke mode" in the process. Eventually, as Bae leaves the voice chat, she signs out with a Tarzan yell, making it sound like she vine-swung out of Discord.
    • After Bae and Mumei sign out, Calli finally reaches the 30-minute mark and The Grim Reaper comes in to instakill her character. She casually greets "Death-sensei" and jokes that he ends the player's run because he's impatient and frustrated from the player's persistence.
  • During an ASMR stream, she starts sobbing, confessing that she's afraid of Twitter. Fans were concerned that the haters have gotten to her, until she reveals it's about the film Morbius (2022). Predictably, the chat begins spamming memes about the film, to which Calli reacts in horror. But she then decides "we all gotta morb someday" and decides to embrace how bad the movie is. Watch it here.
  • While playing VA-11 HALL-A:
    • She fires up the voice changer to give Donovan a deep voice but ends up sounding like Calvin. As chat puts it, C-Man voices D-Man.
    • Ingram comes in, asking for a Gut Punch. Recipe says "optional karmotrine". Since Calli already hates his guts with his first impression, she gives the drink maxed karmotrine.
    • When Ingram asks Jill to come to a motel, Calli sarcastically asks "What, Jesse, to cook meth?"
    • Ingram brings out the "faked an orgasm" line. Bae, from the chat, chimes in "and so it begins". Calli proceeds to censor the line by replacing it with "having steak dinner with your significant other but it turned out to be really shit and you had to pretend to enjoy it". She also stumbles over "orgy" and substitutes it with "barbeque".
    • When Sei talks about what she protects people from at her job, Calli deliberately mispronounces "rapists" like "ruh-peests". Chat jokes that she could replace it with "rappers", cuing the mental image of Sei saving civilians from rappers.
    • The "rappers" replacement joke bears fruit when Kim wakes up and starts ranting, thinking that all the bar staff are rapists. When she starts raving "MURDER MURDER MURDER MURDER" Calli transitions into a "MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA"
    • One of the characters insists that LARPing is a relationship "deal-breaker." Calli agrees, saying that it's weird, but assures deadbeats that they'll find love "despite LARPing." The irony of Calli, a Vtuber who loves TabletopRPGs, taking this line was not lost on chat. After some protesting, a flustered Calli admits that some of what she does amounts to LARPing.
    • The voice she gives Jamie is a very distorted one, going off the comment that he looked like Adam Sandler with a mustache.
    • She gives Streamer-chan a Valley Girl accent with a megaphone filter, playing up the camwhore stereotype as hard as she can. She even ad-libs Streamer-chan trying to interact with the audience and breaks narration to shut her down. This doesn't stop some audience members from mimicking the scrolling on-screen comments.
    • When Streamer-chan fangirls over "Shine Spark" Calli immediately gets her to sing a verse from Kiara's "Sparks", cuing a flurry of "STREAM SPARKS" from chat.
    • Once Streamer-chan admits that she's drunk most of the time and is sleep-deprived, an audience member can't help but note that she's "just like Calli for real", which Calli quickly shoots down.
    • Calli gets tipped off to the hotkeys that trigger scrolling comments and goes a little ham spamming them, turning the screen briefly white.
    • When she's introduced to Betty and Deal (cue "WHAT A DEAL!" in the chat) she can't help but give the robotic Deal a Machine Monotone and apologizes for giving such a voice to a pretty-boy face.
    • After Jill recalls a bitter experience where she was set up for a prank from her schoolmates, Calli breaks character to offer comfort in that Jill's already meeting plenty of interesting people while the schoolmates who pranked her are just living very bland lives... and then goes into a little too much detail on how their lives are boring. Chat jokes that Calli's projecting.
    • When Dorothy meets Alma and learns of Alma's hacker work, she makes Alma detail everything in a sultry voice, and goes full ham in voicing Dorothy's gushing. She clearly had fun with the whole sequence!
    • The third stream has her switch Gillian to a Valley Girl accent.
    • While Jamie reminisces about another bounty hunter she twists the story into a tangent on Jetstream Sam, and vents a little over not having the permissions to play Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on stream.
    • When introduced to Mario, she locks on to an audience member going "It's-a-me! Mario!" and from that he's given an Italian accent. She didn't realize that he was actually named Mario until he properly introduces himself! As Mario greets Rad Shiba with "Hello, doggie!" she can't help but reference The Room.
    • Dorothy comes in and shares her Mega-Christmas stories, including her Mega-Santa pranks and the Mega-Santa gangbang. Calli finally understands why Bae shut down trying to navigate this dialogue, and can't help but laugh over Dorothy's drunk face.
    • Gaby comes in, and her extended silence is "read" out in loud, deep grunts. She later corrects for a better-fitting voice, justifying it with "had a frog in my throat." She's still a little giggly about the previous deep voice... until Gaby lashes out at Jill over Lenore's death.
  • Calli tweeted that she finally got to meet Gura, and the girls just had a fun day out shopping. The burning question that Twitter wants to know is:
Everyone on Twitter: Did you yeet her?
  • After the announcement of Holostars EN's first generation, Calli took the time to vehemently ask people not to ship her with them... because she sees them as her sons.
    • When it came to greeting them she responded to a tweet of Magni using excessive wave emotes by calling him "mr. hands", only for Magni to immediately suggest other nicknames. It didn't take too long for Mori to discover why that was not the best nickname.note
    • C-Man chips in proclaiming himself as "holostars Gen 0" and tries to diss the other guys. True to C-Man nature, he overplays his swagger and comes off as a dork too.
  • After Calli's New Underworld Order concert in July 2022, she later admit in her post-concert stream to having a panic moment when she saw her 3D model froze in place during the opening act of her first major solo concert. Thankfully the situation returned to normal pretty quickly, while some fans jokingly created images of Calli activating her time-stopping stand.
  • In her playthrough of Live A Live, she offers different names to the Seven Heroes:
    • Masaru Takahara -> "Baki With A Shirt".
    • Pogo -> "GUH".
    • Earthen Heart Shifu -> "Wu-Tang Style Shifu".
    • The Sundown Kid -> "The Billy The Man The Kid".
    • Akira Tadokoro -> "Wruce Bayne".
    • Cube -> "Ice-Cube"
    • Oboromaru -> "John Sekiro"
    • Calli absolutely loses it at the sheer amount of toilet humor in the Prehistoric chapter, and was actually mad at how good the Stench Poot and Throw Poop attacks were, before eventually embracing the immaturity.
    • Calli uses a text-to-speech device to make Ice Cube sound like snarky and foul-mouthed, even talking like a rapper, too.
    • Everytime Ice Cube encounters the Behemoth, Calli never misses to make a long-winded hilarious scream.
  • During her Nuzlocke of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Calli meets Ryme, the rapper Gym Leader, and excitedly reads out all the raps that get thrown around. She's really impressed at Ryme's raps, and when it's her turn to challenge Ryme, she ad-libs her own verse. Unfortunately, despite dialogue option, the game forces her into a Pokemon battle instead.
    • In the final stream Penny admits to Clavell to doing something wrong. Calli first joke is "I stole your wallet dude". Moments later it's revealed Penny hacked the LP system to pay Mori and Clavell.
  • In a reply to Kiara's short food tweet in the beginning of December 2022, Calli learns the importance of proper comma usage:
  • Calli begging chat to visit Japan during 2nd Jan 2023 Superchat reading... to boost the value of Yen.
Calli: It's rotting in the bank! Please! Come here and make it strongerrrr!
Sean R. (YouTube chat): nah im good
Calli: No! Get over here! I demand it!
  • Calli finally gets permission to do a sponsored stream of Persona 3 Portable after it was released on multiple platforms. Having previously played FES only, the female protagonist route has a lot of content that's new to her. When she gets to the Velvet Room, she takes the option that lets Theodore be her attendant, and after he introduces himself, she's clearly starstruck.
  • Her April 1, 2023 outfit reveal stream is for the most part a completely normal one - at first - but the chat worries that there's going to be some form of April Fools' joke in there somewhere. While most of the reveal plays out without incident, she decides to perform a country-themed rap number (as her new outfit was themed after a Wild West sheriff)... which quickly goes sideways with the return of Calvin, resulting in the two of them getting into a heated rap battle with lots of exchanged insults before Calli simply cuts the stream then and there. Once normalcy is restored, she reassures the chat that all of this was intentional - it's April Fools' Day, after all - and states that Calvin is only allowed to appear around once a year or so, but words it as the chat "get[ting] one chance a year to rub a little C-man out" (i.e. ...of the lamp, like a genie), much to the chat's amusement.
    • Earlier in the stream, Calli brings up the infamous "horse audio" that had been memed to death leading up to the outfit reveal, and manages to get some good humor out of it:
Calli: To some of you drawing me with horses, y'all are into some fucked up shit, and I hope you get the help you need. And because of you degenerate fucks, guess what we got? A car. (pulls up a picture of a car with "LAW" written on the side in Comic Sans) How fuckin' boring is this?
  • While playing Amanda the Adventurer, after getting the ending where she refuses to listen to Amanda's secret, she goes back to see what happens if she types "YES" instead... but she mistypes "YED" and gets the same ending again. She rages spectacularly over this minor mistake, especially when chat starts spamming "YED".
  • Calli starts playing Final Fantasy XVI, she immediately breaks down laughing when Benedikta calls out Hugo as "You cock." And when Benedikta starts embracing Hugo, she immediately starts screaming and tells chat to close their eyes. She also realizes that the game does a lot of Cluster F-Bomb and claims that the game swears way more than her past five streams.
  • Calli's stream of Trouble Days included the adult content patch. The only other member to stream it with the patch is Flayon. "How bad can it be?" Even though she has a censor card ready, she's not successful at pulling it up at the right times, so she had to immediately private the stream to do some extensive editing.
Calli: Now I've done it...wait hold on! [sees picture of Lovelia naked and hits the censor button while screaming] NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! There goes the VOD! It's over! Why would you do that? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME?!
    • Early in the stream, she jokes about changing the video from "gaming" to "education" to exploit a loophole that would let her get away with nudity on-stream.
    • To assure her viewers about the content, she tucks a "NO CHILDS" in Comic Sans font in the upper-left corner of the video.
    • While she gets a little nervous with anticipating the need to censor, some people in chat calls her a "coward". Others in chat flame back: "The people calling you a coward can't even talk to girls."
    • Although she expected some nudity, she didn't expect a full-on sex scene, and screamed really loudly in astonishment. To keep things relatively clean, she mutes the sound effects and voice acting, and awkwardly narrates the scene with plenty of Unusual Euphemisms like a Dramatic Reading. Her Gilbert Gottfried impression is worth hearing!
    • It's somewhat astonishing to know that it took her four to five censor slip-ups before she could figure out how to use a hotkey to bring up the censor.
    • Despite having named her protagonist Mori, a slip of the tongue leads to her briefly calling him Takeshi, showing that she's watched Bae's playthrough.
    • When she reaches the Big Damn Kiss in the story, she shamelessly positions her model in the protagonist's place.
    • She eventually just rushes the final sex scene and the ending so that she can end the stream before the 6-hour mark so she can send the VOD for editing.
  • Shortly after the announcement of the Advent girls, Calli started greeting them on Twitter.
    • She gives a courteous "hi" to each of them, but for Fuwawa and Mococo, she barks like a dog. They respond by teaching her how they really bark.
    • Koseki is well aware of Calli's fascination with throwing short members, and Calli confirms "she will throw her".
  • While playing the early access for v0.6 of HoloCure, she gets to decorating the HoloHouse, and what really gets on her nerves is that several pieces of furniture don't properly centralize (e.g. can't put a single gaming chair directly in the middle of the computer table.) The developer, Kay Yu, simply sends her a Superchat with " :) " implying that this was done on purpose.
  • During her playthrough of Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3 — with Bae present as emotional support — Calli accidentally ended up glitching the final puzzle surrounding Miss Delight — the Hostile Animatronic who Can't Move While Being Watched — after being caught by her and restarting at the checkpoint. However, rather than the extended puzzle sequence where the player is simultaneously trying to move batteries and power while Miss Delight is in the room with them, she suddenly just never appears. Calli and Bae nevertheless complete the puzzle with trepidation just in case this was all part of the game, saving a mad dash for the exit corridor to finally leave... to which Miss Delight finally comes barreling down the hallway only to be abruptly crushed to death by a shutter door, understandably giving Calli and Bae a heart attack.
  • In Red Dead Redemption II, Calli's quest for stew culminates in this incredible blue ball from Pearson.
