WachaWacha Holostars! is a biweeekly show held on the official Holostars channel, aiming to showcase the appeal of its members to a wider audience through various activities. It's also a source of a lot of humor from the boys.

  • The pilot episode, for some inexplicable reason, takes place in the middle of space. Shien and Roberu, who had been dragged there by Astel, are understandably bewildered.
  • The first episode gathers all of the first-gen members to test their knowledge on Holostars, with Rikka as the MC.
    • One of the questions asks what Roberu's motto is. All of them express disbelief at the actual answer (including Izuru, who gave the most serious answer).
    • Izuru is crowned the winner of the quiz...but at the price of his birthday being forgotten by basically everyone in the room.
  • The second episode kicks off with Roberu (MC), Miyabi and Oga.
    • The first segment includes making a relationship chart between the three members present. When asked about his relationship with Roberu, Miyabi notes that he was his first off-collab partner, and that they have eaten together several times. Oga (who was made the scribe) proceeded to write Roberu down as 'My first partner โ™ฅ' and 'Have spent lots of time together โ™ฅ'.
Miyabi: Cut out those misleading descriptions!
Oga: Now hold on, I'm just writing what I'm hearing...
    • Oga's impression of Miyabi is that he wants him to become swole.
    • While discussing Oga, Roberu and Miyabi both point out that unlike them, Oga can actually draw while they ended up making questionable creatures with their own skills. Oga then proceeds to doodle Kyomu Suzume and Caberu on the relationship chart, much to their chagrin.
  • The third episode introduces Shien, Temma and Rikka (MC),
    • The first segment starts off with them giving stream recommendations from their channel.
Temma: Why do they want it gone? Because people will fall in love with you the moment they watch it?
Shien: No, they said it shouldn't be on the Internet.
Temma: (...) And that's what you suggest people to watch!? That's your pick!?
Rikka: Is that the underground show?
    • The second segment starts with with 'One-Line Audition', where one member reads out a line, and the others have to guess the scenario that person is acting in.
      • The second round has Shien acting the line 'I like you'. While Temma also had the line in the previous round, Shien's given scenario (which was to a lover) veered much more on the fanservice side, to the point that the boys suspected that Shien was assigned it on purpose.
Temma: That was just fan service!
Rikka: Like we could've sold this, but you get it free anyway. (...) I can already see it - people will timestamp this moment 'for personal use'.
    • The third segment, which originally started as a synchronization quiz, ends up becoming a 'Kishido Temma Quiz' with Temma somehow always being the outlier among the three. This gets lampshaded in the next episode.
  • Episode 4 stars Roberu (MC), Shien and Oga.
    • Roberu notes that this time, he's the only senpai around, and plans to brag about it as much as he can.
Oga: Remind me, who decided to go to the bathroom right before we started recording?
    • Oga mentions that this isn't the first time the three of them have appeared together, only for Shien to start groaning in embarassment.
Roberu: Can you not act like that collab left you traumatized!?
    • The first segment, "Dream Sheet"
      • When shown with the initial example (based on MLB player Ohtani Shohei), Shien and Oga were confused on Ohtani's main goal. Roberu gives them a very helpful example:
Roberu: You roll on the gacha 10 times and get 8 SSRs.
      Shien: You're kidding!?
    • The second segment, Holostars Reply King...showcases Roberu's brutal honesty in his responses.
      • Oga's response to the first scenario...takes things up to eleven.
      • After looking through all of the responses, Roberu notes that none of them gave the desired reply at all.
    • At the end of the episode, the boys bring up the fact that the third gen's anniversary was coming up. Oga drops this gem in the process:
Oga: Shiepi! It's been a year since you broke out of Twitter jail!
  • Episode 5 brings the return combination of Roberu, Miyabi and Oga.
    • "Future Profile", where the boys predict what they'll be doing in the future in 20/100 years. Although the segment has its bittersweet moments, there's still some funnier moments.
      • Miyabi, the eternal 18-year-old, basically kills off Temma (who also claimed to be eternally 20) in his 100-year plan.
      • Oga's 20-year plan involves him running an onigiri shop. His current worry? Filling.
    • Kyun! Holostars Theater, where they have to act out a specific scenario. They will also be electrocuted by a shock collar attached to their legs if they get embarrassed or laugh during it.
      • In every single situation, Miyabi takes part as the female role (which is all of them).
      • The first scenario involves a confession behind the school building...except your mouth is full. To achieve this, Roberu stuffs two croissants into his mouth. Predictably, Miyabi has no idea what Roberu is saying throughout the skit.
Oga: That...was the most beautiful confession scene I've ever seen.
      • The 5th scenario involves Roberu (as a transfer student) asking Miyabi to walk home together. Despite being technically uninvolved in this skit, Oga still gets shocked multiple times.
      • In total, Oga was actually zapped the most number of times, with a grand total of 19.
    • At the end, all three of them get electrocuted as they say their farewells.
      All: Otsustars—AAAAAAAAARRGGHHHH!
  • Episode 6 has Astel, Arurandeisu (MC) and Shien, with some unexpected harmonizing at the start.
    • They lampshade the fact that Shien has been part of the show too many times already, while it took this long for Astel (who MC'd the pilot episode) to finally appear on the main show. Astel suggest that he not show up for the rest of the year to make up for it.
    • Segment 1 - "Suggestion Box"
      • When asked about if there was any quality from another member that they wished to have, Astel's response was Temma's ability to settle problems...simply by being himself.
      • Other than admiring Roberu's talking skills, Shien also expresses envy at Astel's Apex skills, which Aruran comments that they probably wouldn't be able to keep up with him on that. Astel replies that he basically sacrificed his lifestyle for them.
      • On the question of personal news, Aruran shares an incident where he had to politely tell a salesperson to leave him alone. Astel and Shien then both declare that they have nothing and move on, much to the Aruran's chagrin.
      • The sender of the final suggestion asks about tips for weight maintenance. The onscreen text reveals that it was Miyabi, who had mentioned this issue during one of his talk streams.
    • The second segment, "Mission on Telephone", where they need to call another member and get them to say a keyword without asking them to do it directly.
      • Shien goes first, with his contact being Oga. Although heartwarming, he ends up failing his mission. His punishment? Being smacked in the butt by Astel with a toy hammer.
      • Astel picks Izuru as his contact, but notes that if Izuru gives the keyword in English, he'll get so annoyed that he'll just drop everything to tell him off.
      • Astel opens his conversation with Izuru with this:
Astel: If I fail this...Holostars might lose one of its members. But never mind about that—do you (...)
      Izuru: Should we!?
      • Shien gets a revenge round to prove himself, with his contact this time being Miyabi, who happened to be outside. With his prompt being the word 'kyun', you can guess what Shien told him to say:
Shien: ...Oh, and in an actual cute voice, please.
      • Upon being given the context, Shien asks Miyabi if he's ever said the phrase before. Miyabi denies this...before realizing that he's actually said it on stream before. Twice, even.
  • Episode 7 with Izuru (MC), Rikka and Astel.
    • This episode only has one segment: "No Mercy! Super Relatable Moments One-on-One!"
      • The first given scenario answers lean towards being more heartwarming, while deciding on their answers, Astel casually mentions that he's going to go get a drink outside, with the video editing suggesting that he did indeed leave the room to do so.
      • The second scenario asks about relatable moments when staying over at a friend's house, with Rikka and Izuru writing down their answers. Immediately the chat comments start ribbing at Roberu, since Izuru has stayed with him before. Sure enough, he gets a mention during Izuru's response about using the toilet.
      • During the third scenario, Rikka incites a shouting argument between Astel and Izuru. Their answers? The other party being too noisy. It gets so heated that the round ends in a timeout and no winner was decided.
  • Episode 8 has the rare grouping of Izuru, Miyabi and Temma, who note that they've never actually done anything with this grouping before.
    • The first segment: My Life's Irreplaceable No. 1
      • On the topic of the top item they've ever bought, Izuru and Miyabi have some fairly standard answers. As for Temma, it was a cloth pencil case he bought in middle school, simply because he wanted to emulate college students...and to gloat over his metal case-carrying peers.
      • Happens again when asked about the number one thing they're proud of. Miyabi and Izuru have the same heartwarming answer about being in Holostars. As for Temma...
Temma: Filling up my diary for 2000 days straight.
      • Temma later admits that his answer in the survey was his second pride and joy, and wanted to say the first one in person. It's not the answer Miyabi and Izuru wanted from him.
Miyabi: You were supposed to say your friends!
    • Izuru's ASMRQ, done by someone (Izuru) who has never done ASMR before.
      • In the first beginner round, Temma and Miyabi note how suggestive the sound is.
Miyabi: ...This is safe for work, right?
      • In the last round, Izuru used a roll of tape by sticking a piece on his leg and ripping it off. At the end of the show, Temma asks if he would hold a giveaway with it.
Miyabi: The real tape that was ripped off by Kanade Izuru.
Izuru: I feel like there's a law that won't let us do that...
  • Episode 9 has Rikka (MC), Arurandeisu and Oga, who immediately wonder what it is they have in common.
Rikka: Our common feature would be that...we're tall? Is that it?
    Oga: ...We're manly?
Oga: Hey, could you not leave your pizza lying around?
  • Wachastars celebrates 10 episodes of the show, with Aruran (MC), Miyabi, Temma and Rikka. The latter three attempt to spice up their introductions to commemorate.
    • Before the main section starts, Miyabi and Temma take in the new backdrop for the show.note  Aruran's pizza gets brought up once again for the same reason as last time.
Miyabi: Is it okay to have it there? It's melting!
Rikka: The pizza is slowly rotting there...
Temma: It's gonna turn green, isn't it?
    • 'New! Holostars Quiz King Tournament' has Miyabi, Rikka and Temma battle it out for the title of 'New Holostars King' with another quiz - this time with questions submitted by fans. Aruran jokes that the winner is allowed to add that to their Twitter profiles.
      • Rikka's opening response when asked about his odds of winning the quiz:
Rikka: Well, I'm a Holoroid that forgets everything from just yesterday...
Aruran: That was the order of events written in the knights' history books, huh...
      Rikka: Not in this lifetime.
Rikka: I'm doubting his will to answer anymore...
  • Episode 11 is a direct continuation from the previous episode, continuing the quiz tournament.
    • One question asks about Shien's response to Roberu during a round of Golf It. Rikka, Miyabi and Temma's answers are kinder than the actual answer.
Rikka: It wasn't wholesome at all...
    • Another question has them replaying a clip of SunTempo's first collab together. Turns out Astel was apparently a lot more composed way back then.
      Miyabi: Who is this, seriously?
      • Despite the answer actually being a complimentnote , Temma isn't all that pleased about it.
      Temma: Stop lying!!
Miyabi: There's an 80% chance that he doesn't actually think that!
    • The Hanakishi bond suffers yet again.
    • Temma exhibits his 'tensai'-ness, both in his own answer...and the actual answer.
    • Miyabi and Rikka tie for first with 5 points each. Temma, to his despair, realizes that one particular question had caused him to be last.
Temma: It's the tail! The tail did this!!
  • Episode 13note  has Temma (MC), Roberu and Shien together for the first time (at least, for Roberu and Temma together). They immediate note that Shien is effectively trapped in between the two 2nd gen members.
    • 'Wachastars Travel Agency' has Temma pitching several (fictional) travel plans to Roberu and Shien. During the explanation, Temma adds that at the end of each plan, he'll give them a quiz, to Shien's bewilderment.
Shien: Robe-san, we're his customers, but we're gonna get quizzed for some reason...
Temma: Of course you're gonna get quizzed - this is a show, isn't it!?
    • When asked about their own memories of vacations, Roberu notes that he was made to ride a cable car during a family trip, which traumatized him due to his existing fear of heights. Temma then points out that Roberu is also thalassophobicnote .
Shien: You can't go to the mountain or the sea, then! You can't go anywhere, Robe-san!
    • Travel Plan 1: Finland
Temma: Is that your friend, Shien? Maybe you know him!
      Shien: Wait, what!?
    • Travel Plan 2: Australia
      • Roberu points out that he's already concerned from the titlenote , much to Temma's chagrin. Shien later laments about this again when the coral reefs are brought up later on.
Temma: Roberu, you...you seriously can't go anywhere, can you Roberu?
      • It's during this that Shien reveals that he had traveled there in the past, but then also notes that what he remembers most about that trip was being made to eat spider legs.
    • Travel Plan 3: Italy, along with a brief cameo of a certain Italian.
      • Shien is apparently easily swayed by Italian food.
Shien: I want to live there forever.
Temma: That's enough to make you want to live there? That was fast!
    • Travel Plan 3: Nagano
      • While talking about Mt Hijiri, Temma recounts a time he and his friends tried the Sky Rider, only for one of them to have their smartphone completely destroyed by the riders behind after dropping it.
    • At the end, it's revealed that Temma had been offered 1 million yen if he was able to correctly guess what plans Shien and Roberu would pick. Unfortunately, while he got Shien right, his attempts at persuading his genmate to pick his choice failed.
  • Episode 14 has Aruran (MC) and Rikka take a page from Temma and pitch outing ideas to Roberu in 'My Day Off with Roberu!'
    • Part of Aruran's plan involves taking Roberu to a hedgehog cafe, thinking that he liked them. While not technically wrong, Roberu points out that his genmate Temma has one (as his oshi mark) and then also notes that to this day he has no idea why it's that.note
    • Aruran introduces an additional game to play with Roberu: 'Syncing Minds and Hearts - He's ใ€‡ใ€‡!', where they call up members and ask them a question with two options, while predicting their choice.
      • The first question is posed to Temma, who is asked between a month of streaming on his phone or with weak wifi. Roberu picks the former, saying that he can't imagine Temma playing mobile games. Cue this showing up during the conversation.
Temma: I was just playing Shadow Verse.
      • Izuru is called up for the second question on whether he'd rather eat only candies or live with Shinove (their manager) for a month. He picks the candies.
Izuru: If it was Aru-san or Miyabi, it'd be fine... (...) He's not really my preference.
      Aruran: PREFERENCE!?
      • Hilariously enough he gets called up again for the third question - if he'd rather bring HanaKishinote  or Babudonnote . He picks the former, but has one interesting (read: cute) reason on why he picked that answer.
Izuru: Temma seems like he wouldn't get struck by mood swings...and Miyabi is cute so it will be okay.
      • Admittedly, Izuru was a little miffed about being called twice in a row.
Izuru: You know what's gonna happen if you call again, right? You're gonna catch these hands.
    • Rikka's entire outing is just him exploiting Roberu and his wallet. Roberu is especially displeased when he finds out Rikka has broken into his liquer stash at the bar.
    • Out of competitiveness, Rikka comes up with his own game - 'Roberu, Help Me Make the New Hit Soap Opera!', where they plan out what is effectively a high school AU but with yankees.
  • Apparently due to an issue with the weather, episode 15 has Shien (MC), Rikka and Roberu talk about random given topics in 'Wachastars' All-Out Talk Time'.
    • Shien brings up that they can decide if the topic is NG to use. For example, Roberu and 'shotaonee'.
    • The first question asks what aspects of a Holostars member they like the most. After Shien and Rikka give their answers, the former promptly reminds Roberu that he's not allowed to pick himself.
    • No need to guess what Roberu found the hardest during his 3D reveal stream.
Rikka: ...Isn't that always the case for you?
    • You'd think a question like 'what is the color and pattern of your underwear right now?' would get veto'd. The boys are perfectly a-okay with answering it, though. Heck, Riznote are both interested in pants-related goods.
      • You can even see some of them visibly looking downwards to check, something that Roberu points out.
    • When asked on who'd they'd like to switch bodies with for a day, Rikka brings up Astel due to his skill in both singing and gaming.
Rikka: I wonder what it would feel like to have the whole world in my hands.
      • After hearing Roberu's answer and reasoning note , Shien responds with this:
Shien: If it's you Robesan, you're welcome to switch bodies with me whenever.
    • The question about their fetishes. No, this didn't get NG'd by the boys either.
    • Regarding embarrassing stories, Roberu talks about very earnest kid he met on the train.
    • The one topic that gets veto'd by everyone: talking about a memory they have about Shinove, their manager. Ironically, this question came up right after Shien proclaimed that they had no limits.
Shien: These are memories that should not go out to the public. If they ever were, there's a chance that we can no longer work for Cover.
      • On the topic of Roberu's fear of insects, Rikka notes that most of them don't like bugs - about 90% of them. You can probably guess who the odd one out is.
  • The 16th episode of Wachastars has the new combo of Oga (MC), Miyabi and Shien, with the latter wondering if Miyabi hated him that much to take this long to guest together.
  • Episode 17 has Arurandeisu (MC), Oga and Miyabi do some guesswork in 'Human Observation Quiz ~Guess This Person's Job~', where the boys guess their guests' occupations. Somehow, Miyabi gets cat-fished along the way.
Miyabi: Wait! Does this mean I made my own genmate say that he loves me!?
  • Izuru (MC), Roberu and Rikka put their English skills to the test in the 18th episode by undergoing 'Holostars' Global Prepatory School' with instructor Totsukatan Morimoto.
    • When asked on their confidence, Roberu and Rikka both express some doubt. Izuru on the other hand is a little more confident.
Izuru: I, on the other hand...I turned 20 a couple days back. With many thanks to everyone's help.
Roberu: Nobody helped you with that, y'know.
Rikka: He had to get help with aging, too?
    • The first section has the members complete a set of written questions:
Rikka: Your colors are showing in this...You can see the Yukoku Roberu-ness!
      • During the video's trailer, there was a particular sentence that caught everyone's attention, and many fans debated on who had provided such an outlandish answer. Inexplicably, the answer was Izuru's, whose explanation was that it was his way of localizing the sentence.
Roberu: Sorry, our Kanade is pretty domineering...
    • The second part of the test has each member converse in English in a different situation. Izuru's entire conversation could be read as something of an existential crisis while Roberu proves that he can and will brute-force a situation with passion alone while still being able to answer somewhat coherently.
  • How good are you at meeting new people and holding conversations? Roberu (MC), Rikka and Izuru put their skills to the test in Mr Congeniality' in WachaStars's 19th episode.
  • Episode 20 has Oga (MC), Miyabi and Temma (with Hiyamaru in tow) take a virtual trip to the zoo, and see if they have what it takes to be zookeepers. Once again, Temma's competitive side flares up.
    • According to Temma, Hiyamaru can not only defend your home, but she can also cook you meals and beat up tigers if she wanted to. Allegedly, anyway.
    • This is Temma's idea of what a zebra sounds like.
    • The boys get introduced to a white tiger. While they're pondering over the question given to them, the tiger in question keeps walking to and fro past Ozawa, a comedian from ANTOINETTE speaking to them as their guide. This didn't go unnoticed by the video editors.
    • Upon meeting a camel, they're surprised at the small number of humps it has.
Temma: I see it has two humps!
      Miyabi: T-two humps, yeah...
Oga: See, the thing is...the Yukoku camels are beings from another world...
    • Despite Hiyamaru's supposed hindsight, Temma loses at the quiz, which makes him declare that he won't bring her out anymore. At least for some reason, Ozawa commended him as the one with the most aptitude for zookeeping, due to his keen-ness for knowing more.
Oga: Just to clarify, Temma wasn't like that because he liked animals. He was like that because he wanted to win.
Ozawa: Ah, but I already gave him the win, so...
Temma: Ozawa-san is a proper man, you see? No second thoughts!
