  • Seven Knights of Old, Hyde Reapers and Abyss Apostles are considered 'prime special', costing double the rubies to summon and being far more rare. There are also special heroes considered 'semi-special' which are less rare. Semi-special heroes include revolutionaries, night crow, terra confederation and pentagon.

    Seven Knights 
The Seven Knights are the seven guardians of the continent of Asgar, and are among the twelve who are granted a fragment from the God of Destruction. Of course, being rulers of their own domains with their own ambitions, the power they wield generates great tension and hostility between their territories. Later in the story, Rudy manages to unite Asgar and build an alliance between the Knights to pursue Dellons after discovering his plan to revive the God of Destruction. Dellons leaves the faction after season 2.

Eileene

Myth Awakened Eileene
Eileene is the Empress of Fodina. She's a talented mercenary who managed to refute all those who underestimated her due to gender and race. She is the sister of Karl Heron.
  • Action Girl: She learned how to fight at an early age from her grandfather, Flame Agni. By 21 she became empress of Fodina in Blazing Desert.
  • Ambiguously Brown: She's more darker skinned than other heroes but some of her costumes change her skin to a pale tone.
  • Dual Wielding: A spear in her right hand and a sword in her left. After myth awakening, Eileene wields two spears surrounded by blue lightning.
  • Implied Love Interest: With Jave. She seems flirtatious towards him but it is unknown how aware he is of it. In the sequel game, Seven Knights II, Eileene has a daughter with violet hair just like Jave and Eileene both did in their six star forms further implying that Jave was possibly the father.
  • Never Be Hurt Again: After enduing hardships and bullying from peers due to status, Eileene started mentally and physically empowering herself and became a fearless warrior..
  • Proud Warrior Race Guy: Through her own merit and martial skill, she freed her people from orc oppression and became Empress of Fodina.
  • Red Baron: She is called Phoenix Empress when awakened and Lightning Empress when Myth awakened.
  • We Used to Be Friends: With Rachel during season 1. After their family's war Rachel and Eileene began despising each other. Their friendship is restored during season 2.

Jave

The Guardian of dragon ruins. He was abandoned by his human parents and then raised by dragons. Has a very cheerful personality although originally distrustful of people.

Jave Awakened
  • The Baby of the Bunch: At 25 (23 in season 1) he's the youngest seven knight member. He seems to be the most playful of the bunch.
  • Dragon Knight: Look at him!Jave became the patron knigth guardian of Dragon Ruins, tasked with protecting its people and guardianship of the whole land.
  • Only Friend: To Spike. Spike seems to distrust everyone but Jave. Likewise, Jave gets along with Spike the best.
  • Parental Abandonment: He was abandoned by his parents and left all alone but luckily was cared for by dragons.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Has purple hair in his six star form and regarded as a very powerful dragon knight, it is in his six star form in which he becomes the guardian deity/dragon.
  • Raised by Wolves: Raised by dragons instead of wolves, but otherwise fits this to a T. Expectantly was raised very differently than a human child would, growing up a bit feral but courageous and cautious of others.
  • Shoulder-Sized Dragon: His little pet dragon is named "Red". His quite strong for its size.

Myth Awakened Kris
A noble from the kingdom of Terra who competed against Rudy for the throne of light. He is betrayed by Dellons early in season 1. He becomes the new leader of Seven Knights in season 3 until Rudy returns in season 4.
  • Blue Blood: Born to Terra nobility.
  • Driven to Villainy: In season 1, mostly. His initial rivalry with Rudy, the mysterious slaughtering of his knights, and his subsequent blaming for their deaths drove Kris to seek out demonic power and build an army to conquer the Kingdom of Terra.
  • The Leader: After season 3 when Rudy vanishe, Kris becomes the new vanguard and head of the seven knights.
  • The Rival: Despite opposite social classes, he and Rudy were best friends and rivals since childhood. Their rivalry, however, grew more intense as the two fought for the title of "Knight of Light", causing their friendship to crumble.
  • The Snark Knight: Antisocial and somewhat cynical. Prior to Season 2, he mocked and criticized Rudy of being a Wide-Eyed Idealist before eventually softening up to him and regaining their friendship.
  • Heroic Lineage: He is descended from the famous imperial knights of the skytria empire.
  • We Used to Be Friends: After he temporarily becomes Rudy's enemy in season 1.

Rachel Agni

Rachel is empress of Blazing Desert and childhood friend of Eileene and Vanessa. She's also the current head to the Agni family clan.

Awakened Rachel
  • Blue Blood: She is the head of the noble Agni family and was raised with the idea that the nobility are superior in all things. This is further compounded after her grandfather was killed during the war against Eileene's grandfather, who founded the Daybreak Mercenary guild.
  • Came Back Strong: Rachel nearly died due to the attacks of Gelidus. She was saved at the last minute by Vanessa who time traveled to help her and Eileene. Rachel awakened and became stronger thanks to the power of the Agni's.
  • Our Elves Are Different: A talented noble elf.
  • The Phoenix: She sends out a phoenix in of her skill animations.
  • Red Baron: She bestows upon herself the title of "Phoenix Incarnate" upon her ascension to empress of the Blazing Desert.
  • Royal Brat: Grew up with the belief that nobility and royalty were much superior to commoners.
  • Royal Rapier: She uses a rapier and takes the stance of a fencer.
  • We Used to Be Friends: With Eileene. After a big war between Rachel and Eileene's family leading to the deaths of their loved ones, Rachel and Eileene begin to hate each other.

Rudy

Myth Awakened Rudy
Rudy is the Knight of Light and former protector of the Kingdom of Terra. He begins questioning the path of light and starts following his own path. He decides to go back to his good ways in season 4 and rejoins the seven knights.
  • The Exile: He's banned by Elysia from returning to Terra after she falsely believes he abandoned the kingdom.
  • Fallen Hero: Downplayed. He doesn't become evil but Rudy begins following his own ways and straying away from the path of light. In season 3 he does betray the Seven Knights by collaborating with Platin.
    • This is subverted in season 4 when he regrets his past actions and becomes a knight of light for good.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: White wings pre-awaken and myth awakened. But symbolically dark wings when he chooses his path.
  • Heroic Lineage: His ancestors were the heavenly people who saved Gaia from chaos and destruction.
  • Knightly Sword and Shield: A tank with a very large shield.
  • Nice Guy: He is all-and-all a kind and peaceful man, and perhaps the most out of the Seven Knights. In the official webtoon, the nobility blackmailed him into losing against Kris in a tournament, to which he nonetheless accepted and laughed off his defeat as Kris simply being superior.
  • Self-Made Man: Unlike Kris, he was a commoner who used his innate talent with a sword to become a knight so that he could support the orphanage that he and his little sister were living in. This would eventually pay off, as he would be named Guardian of Light.

Spike

Spike Awakened
The son of Queen Lania and Gelidus. Has a distant and cold demeanor and due to the abandonment of his mother. He later becomes king of frozen land.
  • An Ice Person: He's half ice spirit and half human, Gelidus was the human and Lania the spirit.
  • Dueling Scar: He has a large scar in his face from his four star to six star form.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: He seems to be the coldest of the seven knights and sometimes disagrees with most.
  • Ice King: A literal (half) ice king and ruler of frozen land.
  • Parental Abandonment: It is justified, Lania's coldness would have frozen Spike to death.
  • Only Friend: He seems to only trust Jave and feels neutral about the rest of the group.
  • Prince Charmless: Gave off this vibe in season 1, prior becoming king.
  • Tin Man: His aloof demeanor is due to the grudge he holds against Lania, in reality Spike is just deeply hurt. After Lania dies he feels even more pain and sadness and finally lets out his emotions.
  • Unpleasant Parent Reveal: Twice. Once with Lania then with Gelidus. He felt resentment towards Lania and anger towards Gelidus.

Vanessa Windringer

Myth Awakened Vanessa

Vanessa is a time travelling mage from the Blazing Desert and childhood friend of Rachel and Eileene. She joins the Seven Knights during the events of Season 2 after rescuing Rachel and Eileene from certain death.

  • Blue Blood: She descends from the Windringers, a noble family noted for their magical skills.
  • Declaration of Protection: And fulfilled. She swore to protect her friends and does end up saving Rachel just in time.
  • Famous Ancestor: Descended from a heroic and great mage.
  • The Hero: She is able to travel to the future as a child, somehow interfere with Gelidus's attack which prevents it from killing Rachel and hurting Eileene.
  • Portent of Doom: Seen an apocalyptic version of her world in which all her family and friends died.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: A time traveling mage with golden eyes.
  • Time Travel: After an accident in attempting to use magic, she was trapped in time travel. After mastering said magic in her journeys, she witnessed past and future events which inspired her to return to the Present and prevent oncoming destruction.
  • Token Mini-Moe: Using her Awakened Skill reverts her into a little girl.

    Seven Knights of Old 
These are the powerful former seven knights, all from different eras, with immense strength.

Alph

Myth Awakened Alph
He was the president of the magic society in another world and a talented mage who happens to be Vanessa's relative.
  • Badass Longcoat: Wears a long light purple coat with silver and black pieces around.
  • Badass Bookworm: Uses multiple scholar tomes to summon his attacks.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: Has light blue eyes which really suit his wise but mysterious persona.
  • Plot Parallel: He actually comes from another world, he tried to stop Dellons from wrecking his world and failed. However, in the current world Dellons was not able to destroy the world.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Sports a black and violet-purple cloak. He's known for his talented magical skills.
  • Spell Book: It seems to be that he summons a powerful magic cast from one of his tomes.
  • Time Master: He traveled back to the past using his hourglass, very reminiscent to Vanessa's time travelling journey.

Gelidus

Myth Awakened Gelidus
The partner of Lania and father to Spike. He rides a gigantic three-legged crow and has immense strength. Originally hostile with Teo, he later cooperates with the seven knights and night crow.

Melia

Myth Awakened Melia
The granddaughter of former guardian dragon, Weiser. Hostile to Jave as she thinks Jave killed her grandfather.
  • Cute Monster Girl: A feminine dragon girl who likes cute clothes and girly accessories.
  • Family Honor: She wants to avenge the honor of her grandfather after she finds he died. When she mistakes Jave as his killer, Millia quickly attacks him.
  • Happily Adopted: Her story mentions her parents died in a battle between an evil dragon. Weiser took her in and made her an heir.
  • Older Than They Look: She's physically 20 but much older in dragon years.
  • Revenge: She vows to get revenge on her grandfather's killer and nearly kills Jave when she mistakenly thinks it's him.
  • Technicolor Eyes: A shade of pink, blue and purple.
  • Weredragon: She can transform into a dragon at will. Also beware of her dragon form; gigantic and chaotic.

Fai Agni

Myth Awakened Fai
The ancestor of Rachel and a member of the Agni family. She's a skilled knight with the power of fire who was transported from 800 years ago due to Velika's experiment.
  • Action Girl: She was a knight with excellent fighting traits which helped her stand out among the other knights and become the lord of blazing desert.
  • Brainy Brunette: With her superior intelligence and skills, she fought against the eastern kingdom and was victorious.
  • Elemental Powers: All Agni house descendants seem to possess the ability to control fire.
  • Older Than They Look: Technically she's over 800 years old.
  • Playing with Fire: A fiery personality to match her fiery skill.
  • She Is the King: Rather than king, 'lord' of Agnia southern territory.
  • Trapped in Another World: She is unintentionally brought into the modern world by Velika's experiment.

Myth Awakened Rosie
Formerly an imperial knight of Skytria empire and daughter to a household of knights. She becomes known as Rosie after she changes her name.

  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: A distant and cautious raven-haired beauty.
  • The Atoner: She had committed many killings for her occupation and family and eventually feels too much guilt. She decides to leave her former life and join a monastery to repent for her sins.
  • Blue Blood: The daughter of a noble family of imperial knights.
  • Meaningful Rename: She changes her name after leaving her old life behind and repenting for her past actions. She chooses Rosie (from Rose) fitting for her more peaceful lifestyle.
  • My Sibling Will Live Through Me: She highly admired her brother, Mojave. She was livid when Dellons killed him.
  • Revenge: On Dellons. He killed all the members of the monastery and also had killed her brother centuries ago. She's still set on getting revenge on him.
  • Trapped in Another World: Similarly to Fai, Rosie comes from long ago.

     Dark Knights 
Knights from a world called Telus, later revealed to be the future Gaia world. They are seen as the antagonists in season 2 but in reality only Dellons and Mercure share the most villainous intentions.

Branze and Bransel

Branze & Bransel Awakened
Heavenly twins with mixed demon blood. They where shunned by other heavenly beings. Platin became their caretaker.
  • Always Identical Twins: Aside from their outfits and single wing, Branze and Bransel are completely identical.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: Branze has the demonic wing and Bransel has the angelic wing which fits perfectly with their half angelic and demonic blood. Branze is also slighly more rebellious.
  • The Exile: Branze was exiled after starting a fight.
  • Identical Twin ID Tag: One twin has an angel's wing while the other a demon's wing. One likes to wear red and the other prefers blue.
  • Non-Human Humanoid Hybrid: Half-demon and half-angel species who where shunned because of this. Aside from the wings, the twins looks like regular boys.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: They are both playful but Bransel seems angelic while Branze is more mischievous.
  • Trickster Twins: A pair of trouble-making twins who love to play pranks on people. They especially prefer to bother Mercure.

Colt

Myth Awakened Colt
An assassin from the alleyway. She made a living through contracts from the black market. She joined the Dark Knights because of Pallanus.
  • Action Girl: The true definition of this.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: She tries to confess her interest for Platin to which Platin shrugs it off telling her to stop joking around. Platin is a high priest though, he wouldn't actually be involved with her romantically.
  • Conscription: Pallanus offered to save her from execution if she joined the dark knights.
  • Chew Bubblegum: She can be seen munching and blowing bubblegum in-game.
  • Death Row: She was given the death penalty after being caught doing an illegal trade.
  • Demon Slayer: She slayed a whole bunch of demons in the war.
  • Femme Fatale: Especially after she myth awakens and ditches the tomboy design and fights in a loetard.
  • I Owe You My Life: Pallanus saved her life so Colt joined the Dark Knights to repay her debt.
  • Professional Killer: This is how Colt made money and survived. She never fails to do her job.
  • Specs of Awesome: Super high-tech goggles which help for clear target elimination.
  • Tomboy: Though she was forced into the military, Colt actually excelled in it. She was fearless and a great army soldier.

Masked Myth Awakened Dellons
The main antagonist of season 1 and 2. Formerly a seven knight and later dark knight. Once a charming knight now a fallen warrior.
  • All for Nothing: The countless wars and deaths he caused and the reliving the past and death thousands of time in an endless cycle. In the end, the advent of the god's awakening failed and Dellons did not revive Claudia.
  • Back from the Dead: Thanks to Claudia's spell, Dellons will always transcend death.
  • Cain and Abel: Snowood resented snolled because the eldest was automatically heir. This eventually leads to a final scene of the brothers fighting it out and Snowood losing his life and Snolled finally beating his brother, whom had previously won. Snolled wouldn't have killed Snoowood had he not attempted to kill Claudia though.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: His sister died protecting him and he was given no choice but to kill his brother. His fiancee's death was the final straw which drove him to madness.
  • Fallen Hero: Once a loyal and dutiful imperial knight of Skytria Empire. Now a cynical man with no mercy.
  • Freudian Excuse: His life has been tragic from the start, Dellons finally succumbed to madness after Claudia's death.
  • I Have Many Names: By birth he was Snolled then he became known as Dellons. A spin off webtoon reveals he also became Nowells (Noels in English translation) before Seven Knights' timeline but after the Skytria's destruction.
  • I Let Gwen Stacy Die: He promised Claudia to protect her for eternity, a promise he could not keep.
  • The Lost Lenore: Claudia.
  • Prince Charming: Chivalrous? check, courageous? check, aristocrat? check. Though not royalty, Dellons 1,500 years ago had all the textbook qualities of a prince charming. Too bad it was temporary.

Mercure

Mercure Awakened
A dark wizard. Mercure found white magic boring and began to secretly practice dark magic. He is a sadistic scientist who has no limitations.
  • Ax-Crazy: A very cynical and sadistic warlock who enjoys his experiments a little too much.
  • Black Magic: He abandoned his studies of white magic to pursue dark magic.
  • Evil Sorcerer: He practices dark magic and uses said magic to experiment on his 'lab rats'.
  • I Have No Son!: He was disowned by his parents after they discovered he was studying dark magic.
  • Mad Scientist: He may be more insane than Dellons. he truly enjoys the torture of his experiments as seen as with Silvesta.
  • Mad Scientist Laboratory: Called the Dark Magic Research Tower in the game.
  • Psycho for Hire: Was contracted by Freyja to experiment on Silvesta, Mercure's experiments are known for their cruelty.
  • Redemption Equals Death: Though it's not clear if he dies, Silvesta physically vanishes into thin air in season 4.
  • Smug Smiler: A very snarky and almost sinister smile.

Pallanus

Pallanus Awakened
The commander of the dark knights. She vows to resurrect the dying world of Telus.
  • Action Girl: She was in the royal army and trained hard to earn the position of commander. She is a skilled fighter who didn't let her father's hatred stop her from achieving her goals.
  • Anti-Villain: Her goal is to save the dying Telus but is willing to cause the destruction of Gaia world in order to do so.
  • Badass Cape: As any good commander sports.
  • BFS: She wields a sword that can fire Frickin' Laser Beams.
  • Boyish Short Hair: She grew up like a son, training in combat and martial art.
  • Redemption Quest: It seems she was involved in the destruction of Telus. she executed a command by a royal family which lead to a massive nuclear-like explosion in Telus.
  • Tomboy: Participated in the army, martial arts and all kinds of combat.
  • Wanted a Son Instead: Her father wanted a son to inherit his title of general. This didn't stop Pallanus from doing so.
  • Wave-Motion Gun: Her Awakened skill "Operation: Annihilation" summons a giant Doomsday Device which can fire a Death Ray that can split apart and destroy entire planets.

Platin

Myth Awakened Platin
He is the founder of the dark knights. He foolishly praised the goddess Nestra and wants the restoration of his world. He wants to cause as little harm possible to achieve his goal.
  • Blue Blood: He comes from a prestigious noble family.
  • Celibate Hero: He's a high priest and does not pursue any relationships but it is hinted he may like Pallanus.
  • Crisis of Faith: In his mythical awakening scenario, Platin renounces his faith in Nestra after he has a realization that she's not as benevolent as he thought.
  • Guardian Entity: A floating-armored knight with detached arms Only his head and arms are visible.
  • High Priest: Originally a successor and later becomes the high priest thanks to his powerful magic.
  • Holy Hand Grenade: He is able to borrow power from the goddess Nestra.
  • White Mage: He has powerful white magic abilities.

Silvesta

Sylvesta Awakened
A former knight of Terra kingdom. He tried to control and trap the power of destruction but ended up spreading all over the continent.
  • Amnesiac Hero: After Mercure's risky experiment, Silvesta loses all his memories. His memories do slowly return as the story progresses.
  • Black Knight: A confused but ruthless dark knight with incredible power ready to be unleashed.
  • Brainwashed: Literally and for a long time after becoming full of despair.
  • Destructive Saviour: When he tried to save the people from the power of destruction but did the exact opposite.
  • Faceā€“Heel Turn: Involuntarily as it is the result of brainwashing done by Mercure.
  • Guilt Complex: He feels a lot of guilt for what he caused despite not having been intentional. He spread the power of destruction around the continent.
  • Heelā€“Face Turn: As he starts to recover his lost memories.
  • Luke, I Am Your Father: To Evan in season 3 causing quite a shock.

     Founders of destiny 
A faction based on famous and historic figures who are very important to the future of the story.

Arianrhod

Myth Awakened Arianrhod

The ancient and wise wizard who founded the magic academy and helped Elena seal the evil Nestra by awakening a chimera.

  • Gadgeteer Genius: She built many extraordinary magical tools starting with the first hourglass of time.

  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: inhumanely tiny waist, similar to Reginleif.

  • Older Than They Look: Due to her celestial status species, Arianrhod is centuries old.

  • Sealed Evil in a Can: She sealed her disciple Medea and als awoke a chimera to seal evil deity Nestra.

  • Time Master: She created the special but dangerous hourglass able to control time, sheā€™s extremely cautious of it as using it incorrectly has horrible consequences.

  • WelshMythology: Based on the goddess of the silver wheel and moon by the same name. In-game she also uses a small silver wheel star in her skill animations.

  • Winged Humanoid: As a celestial being, she has a pair of dark brown wings.

     Celestial Guardians 
The celestial guardians of the heavens. There are said to be eight in total. Mist, a Homunculus, became one due to Freya's decision. Gerard, also not a valkyrie, was considered a celestial guardian before clashing with Freyja's views on peace and leaving their group.

Shared Tropes

  • Amazon Brigade: Seven of the celestial guardians are Valkyries, a female-only species. Mist, a non-valkyrie, is also female.
  • Color Motif: They may possibly be color-themed, each one having a main color that suits their attitude.
  • Evil All Along: These heroic celestial figures aren't as heroic as players were lead to believe. Though currently only Freyja, Mist and Radgrid are antagonistic.
    • Mist is more of a sad case and the consequences of experimenting. In fact, Mist was once a humble and sweet celestial monk named Xuangzang.
  • Norse Mythology: The eight celestial guardians are named after Norse Valkyries. Their story and motifs also are inspired by their original lore with some modification to their bios.

Freyja

Myth Awakened Freyja
The first-ranking valkyrie and leader of the strongest valkyrie army. She is seen as a celestial heroine who saved countless lives during a war in the heavens.
  • Blue Blood: Born to the highest noble class of valkyries.
  • Fallen Hero: After the war in the heavens and her brother's death, Freyja became much more sinister and extremist in her ideals. She once slaughtered a group of prisoners just for living in enemy territory.
  • Color Motif: Gold which symbolizes wisdom, courage, success and brilliance.
  • I Did What I Had to Do: She justifies her actions by her belief that the heavens will prosper in the end.
  • Lady of War: A beautiful and graceful valkyrie.
  • The Leader: The master of Valhalla castle and leader of celestial guardians.
  • Meaningful Name: Her name means lady or noblewoman, fitting for her high ranking birth.
  • Norse Mythology: Inspired by the Norse goddess of the same name. Seven Knights' Freyja shares many traits with her original legend. From the flowing golden hair to a cat appearing in her skill animations. Also ranked as the highest among all the other guardians and having a deceased brother, freyr. .

A member of the guild 'Dark Citadel'. He's a modified hybrid human experiment. He is found by the magic academy near the Magic Research tower and became their test subject.
  • Combat Tentacles: He uses large tentacle-like structures which fiercely rip through his enemies.
  • Hidden Eyes: Has a bandage partially covering his face and one eye. Likely because of past experimental injuries.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: His power was seen as 'evil'. He was sealed away but woke up and figured out how to become 'perfect' with extraordinary strength.

Myth Awakened Raze
The leader of the hyde reapers who planned to overthrow Gaia. He's a young male demon with lots of wealth.
  • Broken Pedestal: The man who made him into a rich upper-class gentleman, it is the same man who plans to execute his friends and himself when they're no longer useful. Thus Raise ultimately betrays Judas by helping the hyde reapers escape rather than killing them as Judas had ordered.
  • Conspicuous Consumption: His whole attire filled with expensive accessories and gold seems extremely opulent and used to show of his new wealth.
  • Rags to Riches: He was taken in by a clown facility and struggled for money every day, that is until he met Judas and was showered with wealth.
  • Only in It for the Money: He originally agreed to take part in organizing and leading the hyde reapers for the sake of money, though he does end up respecting his fellow friends.
  • Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: He took orders from Judas until his realization that he was using him and his group and planned to literally discard them after they were no longer useful.
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: He plans to use his money to get Rin, make her fall in love with him and marry her, of course this means having someone dethrone her so she's no longer empress or committed to her continent.
