Incorruptible Pure Pureness: Chloe, and possibly others, seems to see Nina as this, though there are hints that there is something darker within (Sisterly Love arc). Other characters have acted to shield her from darker, or at least more mature, things.
According to demonically-empowered Chloe, Nina exudes an aura of pure innocence. Due to being a succubus, Chloe is compelled to corrupt her, but the fact that Nina is so very innocent, combined with the fact that they were pretty good friends before Chloe became demonically-empowered, causes her to have a bad reaction.
Nina's older sister, determined to make Nina drink blood.
A-Cup Angst: A recent set of guest strips has her victimized with this after Melissa Hellrune goes "Abizmal Arbutus Mozenrath!" (Mel quickly reverses it when Brooke enters.)
Defrosting Ice Queen: Hanging out with Tiffany gives Layla a chance to be seen outside of her usual defensive persona, which is pretty universally considered a good thing by the audience. Naturally, none of the regular cast have gotten to see this side of her yet.
During the Chloe-zombie scare, she was preapared to ditch Chloe and the others, believing it was "their problem", but forgot she was covered in Chloe's pheromones too and wound up eating her words. Whoops.
Later, at Nina's slumber party, she volunteers Ace and Brooke for surprise makeovers. Brooke pays her back on the next page and the resulting catfight lands her in hot water with her mother.
Oh and the liquor she pilfered from her dad's stash? She tricks Nina into drinking it, causing her to become sick and throw up. Guess who winds up on cleaning duty?
Ms. Fanservice: Always is, but she invokes it when she wants Kade to do something for her.
Oblivious To Hints: As a part of her general obliviousness. When her mom tried to let slip the Arranged Marriage business, she was dead set on immediately clearing the miscommunication which no one else had seen as a big deal. And during the Doompanties incident, Chloe had to spell out exactly what just happened after setting her up.
A succubus, who considers herself to be ugly by succubus standards (though she acknowledges that she's pretty by human standards), despite her many admirers. Much to the surprise of readers, she now has her own webcomic Spin-Off — Dangerously Chloe.
Alpha Bitch (Wannabe): Under the influence of Doom Panties instead of joining Cessily and Laura's plans for "power trio", she simply turned them into her own minions and made sure they are popular too. She's determined to take all Layla has, especially after Layla ruined her plans for Dio by humiliating her!
Blind Without 'Em: Usually. Alcohol apparently changes this. After learning to shapeshift she foregoes the glasses completely, along with Meganekko image.
Heel Realization: Chloe wakes up without the Doompanties, is told Nina held her hand through the night, and that Brooke and Seth were with her through it too. She has a My God, What Have I Done? look on her face and Inelegant Blubbering later as she hugs them both.
I'm Not Pretty: She thinks she's a "total failure" as a succubus despite seeing her makes male half of the school close to drool and Blair risks to damage his doll body by Eye Pop. Adora does indeed make her look like an awkward teen in comparison, but Chloe is far from fully developed yet.
Love Makes You Evil: Her crush on Layla's fiance Dio is what spurs her to commit evil things after accidentally putting on the Doom Panties before she is truly ready for them, unleashing a Superpowered Evil Side.
Put on a Bus: After the incident with the Doom Panties, she was transferred to a school just for succubi. In hell. (No, that doesn't mean what comes to mind!) She re-emerged in a Spin-Off webcomic.
A melusine. She can turn into a snake monster, but resents her monster form and tries to hide it. Generally laid-back and cool, but confused and shy when it comes to romance.
Ninao: Oh noes! Blair turned Brooke into a boy, too! Brooke: I'm...I'm still a girl. Ninao:(lifting Brooke's skirt) No, you're n— oh wait, yes, you are. *SLAP!*
My God, What Have I Done?: After Cute WitchMagical Girl Melissa snaps her out of her feral melusine mindset, she suddenly realizes her sparring partner Ash, who'd goaded her into "going all-out" isn't breathing. This causes a major guilt-and-panic double attack with Brooke.
Scaled Up: Her melusine form is a snake-girl. One with a LONG body and coiling ability. When her eyes go from human to snake, it might not end well. Usually caused by getting her mad.
She Cleans Up Nicely: despite all the jokes about Brooke looking like a boy, and her tomboyish behavior, she's defintely all woman... when she tries.
Take a Fourth Option: When the "Art Interlude" Guest Strips have her deal with Melissa, Layla, and Cerise who are ALL wanting to be Brooke's model (and showing their diva egos), the artist takes an award-winning approach. She paints a nude self-portrait.
But then, Kade quickly learned to enjoy this. Very much. He even managed to stay comfortable enough to joke about his reaction on Ash after turning back.
Mismatched Eyes: He has a blue right eye and a yellow left eye.
Nice Guy: He's a friendly fellow. While transformed, became a walking headache, but once the curse was removed, he's back to his old self, all over Layla and ignoring her tsundere-ish hissing.
The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: In addition to acting a lot like a Clingy Jealous Girl in the grips of Love Makes You Dumb concerning Layla, Kade becomes quite a bit bitchier in female form, acting like a completely inconsiderate Jerk Ass to Melissa and starting to get distracted by the first attractive guy to walk by. Maybe got a little too far into Vapid Valley Girl mode or "catfight" part mixed badly with his cat side, or something.
Ace Wolfhart
A werewolf, and Nina's unwilling friend. Had an extended period of time as a girl following the artifact incident but has since reverted.
Butt Monkey: Always seemed to get the short end of the stick ever since he met Nina. Even when the first met boy passing by was going to become a lab rat for Wilhelmina's demonstration, it just had to be him.
Though since his recovery from the Orb, life seems to have picked up for him a bit, to the point that he and Brookeseem to have hooked up successfully (also, the bonus feature in the print edition).
CPR Clean Pretty Reliable: When Mel (who doesn't know how to do CPR) or Brooke (who doesn't have lips) can't do this for a not-breathing Ash, Ace must.
The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: After becoming a girl, he is not only attracted to boys, but also wants to "go to the mall and buy cute outfits and stuff".
Professor Twigitt: I've never had those urges. That's just you.
His girl-side is attracted to Ash when Ace must give him CPR.
Panty Thief: As if his character image isn't obvious enough.
Spanner in the Works / Wild Card: Blair has two cases of these which stand out. In both he showed he didn't mind interfering with the plans of others if it helped his goals or even jeopardized the good thing he had in the process.
He stole the Orb Of Tiresias from the Hellrune Coven to put the whole school into a major gender-bending fiasco that almost turned the school into his own paradise of blonde buxom bimbos, even Nina, who loved him.
When told the Doompanties were the rarest panties in the universe, he stole them off of Chloe, not caring if he lost the Heaven he was in with her. Or that he'd be locked in the box with them for a very very long time.
Villains
The Hellrune Coven
A coven of witches. Got their own spinoff, Magick Chicks, but still make appearances.
All three:
Alpha Bitches: Melissa's the trope image for a reason.
Heel Face Revolving Door: When with the Coven, Melissa is definitely evil in this series. When alone here, though, she tried to steal a female Kade from Layla and a male Ace from Brooke. On the other hand, she stopped Dio from being hurt badly from Ash, and stopped Snake-Girl Brooke from killing Ash (thought just barely). She's also Tiffany's "trainee" thanks to her Wand and "backup" when Tiffany was bent on staking a vampire (Mel thought is was Layla, when it was to be Dio).
Shout Out: The "Art Scholarship" interlude strips have her invoke the names of Alladin villains ("Abizmal Arbutus Mozenrath!") in a spell giving A-Cup Angst to Layla in another Heel move.
Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: She's showing signs of this in Magick Chicks, where she used a Glamour spell to cast an illusion of herself as Sandi, while making a tree appear to be her. The result? Her opponent KO'd themselves... just as planned.
Obfuscating Stupidity: Readers and the characters in-universe seem split between whether she's really a ditz, or just pretending to be.
After the Hellrune coven is sent to a different school, these two plot to become the new Alpha Females. While Chloe is wearing the Doompanties, she transforms the two into succubi to boost her power.
Both
Alpha Bitch: More wannabees than queen bees, but they are trying to get there.
Buxom Is Better: She seems more comfortable with having bigger breasts thanks to Tia now than she did when Chloe did it earlier.
Laser-Guided Karma: She talked about having Chloe's E-cup breasts done in school colors, then rigging Chloe's bra to pop open and flash the football team. Cess is shocked when they see Chloe with smaller breasts (Chloe was tired of having to lug around those massive breasts). Eventually, Cess and Laura both get E-cups of their own thanks to Chloe, and Cess realizes how heavy they were.
And another piece of it when after she'd gotten used to them, they left once the Doompanties were sealed back in their box.
Voluntary Shapeshifter: Cess can change her hand and part of her arm to be an ice-based hammer to knock some sense into Laura when she thinks Cess should dye her hair red. Later made a lockpick icicle on her finger.
Buxom Is Better: She was happy with her new breasts. Until she lost them when the Doompanties were relocked into their box.
Again when Tia briefly gave them back—then turned around to endow them to Cessily. She was told the only way to GET them back was for Cessily to give them to Laura willingly. And shortly afterwards Tia grabs Cess before Laura can do that.
A vampire slayer who really does want to slay Layla, but that's not going so well. Appears more often now in the Spin-Off, Magick Chicks, but still very active in EC.
Cloudcuckoolander: Occasionally, more in her Magick Chicks time. It's not like Tiffany is stupid, but she rarely have a clear idea of what's going on around. Or with herself, for that matter.
An Astral Projection, Not a Ghost: Maybe there's also some reason why even after her "dead" body was hauled around any blood below it remains conspicuously absent, too.
Distracted by the Sexy: Faith does this to her in the most literal sense, by "mind-sexting" her, just as she was about to stake Layla; causing her to lose focus again.
Then she forgets about staking altogether when Layla flashes a pic of Dio. Instead, Tiff pants like a lovesick puppy and forgets he's a vampire too.
Tiffany falls into an semi-coherent daze upon seeing Ash and Dio making out.
Expy: It's very clear who she tries to be. Just look at her name.
Foe Yay: Layla will be hers! Her first kill, not... well, it's hard to say.
Friendly Enemy: Tiffany really really means to be hunting Layla, but her airheaded Les Yay seems to be interfering. Layla is oblivious to this and only knows Tiffany as a friend.
Gets taken to the extreme in the Magick Chicks crossover, where she pulls a Big Damn Heroes by saving Faith from a bloodlusted Layla. At the same time, she couldn't bring herself to stake Layla either. So she took a third option by allowing Layla to feed on her to calm her down and talking to her soothingly.
The Hunter: Comes from a family of monster hunters, and is still dedicated to staking Layla even after befriending her. Fortunately, she's easily distracted.
Tiffany:(thinking) At last! Fate has delivered my worst enemy into my hands! VENGEANCE SHALL BE MINE!!! Wait... not "vengeance". What's the one heroes get? Oh right. JUSTICE SHALL BE DONE!!!
Also this gem, concerning her big showdown with Layla.
Tiffany: (envisions herself battling Layla) "It shall be so epic, it would fill up 4 volumes of a manga!!"
Not So Different: You know, for a girl who's supposed to be Layla's "archenemy", she seems to have alot in common with her. Including: fashion, bands...and games!
Recent developments have shown they even THINKalike! No wonder they get along.
Squee: Her reaction to Layla inviting her to go to a concert with her.
Oblivious To Hints: Tiffany apparently doesn't notice that Melissa is extremely annoyed with her, even when she all but spells it out.
Occidental Otaku: She compares what she thinks her and Layla's battle to be like to taking up 4 volumes of a manga, and gets really excited by Melissa being a real-life Magical Girl. And later seems to be a Yaoi Fangirl.
Nina and Layla's mother. She's apparently had 13 children. Not the loner sort of a vampire - she prefers to keep some company around and is unhappy about her daughters being mostly absent, that is in school or asleep.
Hot Mom: She does not look like a woman who's had 13 kids.
Lesbian Vampire: Not exactly, but she apparently went through a "phase" with Adora Love, who happens to be Chloe's mom. This causes her to be very... friendly... towards Chloe.
Maria: Of course! Adora Love's daughter!
Chloe: You knew my mother?
Maria: We were schoolmates. Your mother had the... sweetest blood.
Silk Hiding Steel: She's a nice and worldly lady who showers everyone with care and hospitality... and suddenly becomes firm and lays down the law when thinks it's really necessary.
Arranged Marriage: Formerly, between him and Layla, but it was deep-sixed, when he learned she was in love with Kade. Except his father won't allow him to return home without one of the Delacroix sisters as his bride. So he's stuck hopelessly pusuing Layla.
Flat Character: Fans have begun to regard him this way, due to a lack of characterization, compared to the rest of the cast.
Bishōnen: Certainly enough to make Layla forget about Kade.
Tia Darkness
An adorable very young dark-haired demoness (succubus?). Appeared when Cessily, Laura and Nina tried to summon Chloe back and immediately began to show who's the boss. Seems to be a competent magic user.
Apple of Discord: Delights in causing arguments; she even seems to feed off of them.
Emotion Eater: Seems to be treating a catfight as a chance for a meal.
Screwy Squirrel: Be careful what you wish for, with Tia, as Laura learns in short order. When she demands bigger boobs, Tia takes what Laura has and adds it to Cessily's bust size, leaving Laura flat as a pancake!
Tsurime Eyes: Seen in the accompanying folder picture above.
