I'm just confused as to why I see Ultron on one device but Boss Baby on another, it made me look a fool when I tried to save the source code to fix the image and ended up just reposting the BB image

◊. The filenames are indeed the same; wonder how that happened.
Usually the server appends a random digit to an image if the filename is already taken. This one was probably already numbers when another numbers image was uploaded so one took another's place.
The Sandbox image is called ultron_cm.

We're noticing a few pages have had the same issue. Monster.Sherlock Holmes and Monster.Marvel Literature have also had their images changed because they shared the same URL with another pic.
I think this may be a larger issue and there are a vast number of pics that were automatically changed by accident, it's just that no one else has reported it. Keep an eye out for images that seemed to have improper or mismatched images.

If anything, I don't think titles have to be descriptive, just something others wouldn't be as likely to use. You can include the day of the month and the month, with stuff like "prestreestuck1704.png", "pknigh2204.png", etc. And don't use underscores, just in case.
But otherwise, that left me ROFLMAO just like everyone else.

Oh, that explains why when browsing Characters.Star Trek Discovery Federation earlier today, Captain Pike's image was replaced with a comic book character of the same name. Definitely seems like a site-wide glitch.
Well, it was named Pike.JPG. We really should use more inventive naming schemes for images from now on.

Yeah, it happened to one of the images in my gallery as well. It's named "spring.png", and it was supposed to be an image of this
◊ in the style of the rest of the images in my gallery.
Now that's an Avengers level threat!
I suppose the only way to fix this issue is to reupload the proper images under different names so that the glitch doesn't happen?

Mine are still consistent but that's probably cuz I use the Mac screenshot tool for many images, which gives them a very specific title based on the time and date of the screenshot. Not descriptive, but specific!
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
One of my avatars changed too. The image is supposed to be Howl from Howl's Moving Castle, not the poster for Howl. There is a forum where we can inform the mods about glitches, right? I think it would be good to bring this to attention to more mods and other users.

I don't think we should really need one. trying to search for this stuff will probably take too long, as it seems like about 99% of images is still correct and searching for short titles or other repetitive things will be like looking for a needle in a 500K-page haystack, plus searching by Filename in the Images List is unreliable. Just fix them when you see them.

Weird glitch that switches images with same URL around. Because of this, the image for Marvel Animation is of Boss Baby instead of Ultron among other examples.

As I posed in Image Pickin', MCU!Tony Stark's Mark 3 and Mark 6 armors are now collectively the band Deep Purple, due to both sharing the same "mk3.png" and "mk6.png" images, though Deep Purple's other images are all labeled "deep_purple_mk5.jpg" or something to that effect.
The page for Pokémon Legends: Arceus is showing what I think is a clipped version of the promo art of the Sinjoh event from HGSS instead of what's supposed to be there.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.
Some of icons got hit as well. Makes me glad I usually name my files either incredibly specific or odd things

This is currently being worked on. We should have a fix for it live tomorrow.
The issue with images not loading or showing the wrong image should now be fixed.
The image server converts to webp format when the browser supports it. This is a guideline from Google. We were removing the extension and saving the file in a cache (ie: myimage.jpg becomes myimage.webp). Well we didn't take into account someone else uploading the same image in another format like myimage.png which then looks in the cache for myimage.webp and finds the wrong image. And when trying to fix this and re-creating the cache it caused the server to get overloaded so uncached images weren't displaying at all. Should be good now though. Start a new thread if any other issues start up
On the Complete Monster subpage for Marvel Animation, there seems to have been a mistake, as now the page image is The Boss Baby, when it's supposed to be Ultron from Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow. Looking at the Sandbox page
, it doesn't look like somebody changed the image. The image pickin' thread
also had the image replaced. So, I think what happened was that somebody uploaded the Boss Baby picture and it shared the same URL as the Ultron image, so it automatically replaced it.
Since the original image was a custom collage, could somebody upload the original picture so we can bring it back to normal?
