This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Regarding Drake Clawfang's question on whether it's necessary to list FF7 Remake voice actors on the main playable FF7's page, I feel that'd be redundant since Remake already has their own character pages.

Evil Overlord List is in the main namespace, but it's not a trope; it's a work. As in, it is the literal transcript of a Web Original work of the early internet era, complete with copyright notice at the bottom.
I suggest that it should be moved to the Web Original namespace. Also, I'm pretty sure that the copyright notice directly conflicts with the T Vtropes license.

We've tried to move Evil Overlord List before. Everyone goes on and on about how it's a real work and should be treated as one. I think it should go in Just for Fun.
The license on it was specifically negotiated by the site's owners in the distant past. The CC license does not prohibit exceptions as long as licensor and licensee consent, and our contribution license (which is distinct from the CC license) also allows exceptions in writing.

My bad... for future clarity: we go by medium first according to how it's listed on Magnificent Bastard (i.e.: Anime & Manga; Comic Books; etc...) and then by alphabetical order.

I'm wondering should we reformat it slightly using asscaps like say Anime and Manga. So it's easier to know what goes where. Folders are unnecessary now but that will help divide things to help in the future.

I'd like to request Video Game/TNO join the permanent Red Link Club for being an initialism of The New Order Last Days Of Europe. It's not actually used that much throughout the wiki (the page only has links on 60 other pages) but it has over 12000 inbounds despite being an unreleased and fairly obscure work, and the Wiki Word is a bit unwieldy.

For the Dial M for Murder entry in MagnificentBastard.Film replace the word "wine" with "scotch".
I'm the one that requested it to be locked. The trope is currently being split into three separate tropes: Interactive Movie (the genre), Pre-Rendered Graphics, and Live-Action Cutscene.
