This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):

Maybe just the first two panels of the second comic could work.
I think the first panel helps establish the innocuousness of the gesture, and I think the sudden shift in mood helps too.

The turtle is triggered by the guy raising his hand.
It works in concept but I’d like to see it put together, since the last panel of the first strip is smaller than the next two.
E: I'm not sure how essential the 'repressed memories' part of the description is, though...

I think it'd be more effective if we saw the scene that caused the trauma to begin with.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

We don't follow Paranatural, but from the presentation, we wouldn't be surprised if the trauma itself wasn't explained until much later, and possibly hasn't been explained yet.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.
It hasn't, at least not directly. This is the turtle character's introduction. He's... projecting himself, I guess you could say?—from inside an object in the other character's possession, which was given to her by her grandfather, a hardass fighter trainer who has been implied to see spirits (which turtle guy is) more as tools than as people. So from that background knowledge + this scene, the reader can infer that turtle guy has previously been treated like crap.

I think the first panel is useful to show how innocent the interaction was.

I thought we could imply that it was innocent before.
Without looking at the rest of the comic, first panel tells me for sure that it was a regular conversation and jacket guy wasn't about to use whatever red aura-related powers they have on turtle guy. Clarity > conciseness.
That said, this might be better off in its own thread at this point.
