Film. The Wild Geese has two quotes.

I can go either way on which quote to use, but leaning towards the second.

Schoolgirl Lesbians is using the same quote from the page image of Transparent Closet. There's another quote in a subpage, but I don't think the schoolgirl aspect is very clear on that one.

bowserbros changed the quote on Oddity from its tagline as Mother 4 "Truancy, adventure and an aversion to business suits!" to the description of the January 2020 trailer "If you're looking for a roadtrip full of oddball characters and serious challenge with lots of heart... then ODDITY is for you!" I prefer the old quote, since even the page itself admits the new one may not be an actual tagline.

Someone said that the current main page quote for Unperson is misleading because it sounds more like Retgone than Unperson

Edit: To clarify, here's the differences in definition between the two tropes and why the quote from Nineteen Eighty-Four sounds more like Retgone

Retgone: The character is erased from existence.

Unperson: All record of the character is erased, I. E. the character exists, but everyone pretends they don't.

[up] How about swapping it with other 1984 example (minus pothole) found on the page quotes?

The page quote for Gardening-Variety Weapon seems quite poor. Since the game is on it's last legs how about an example From Dawn of the Dragons? (If people want to keep the current I'll make a quotes page instead)

A humble farmhand's tool. Built for menial labour. But in times of war, when enemies threaten solider and civilian, those sharp metal prongs can be put to deadly use.

Quotes.Cant Take Criticism

Part of it was obviously we are starkly different in our styles. We did not have a common value system. When the president would say, "Here's what I want to do, and here's how I want to do it." And I'd have to say to him "Mr. President, I understand what you want to do, but you can't do it that way, it violates the law. It violates treaty." He got really frustrated. I didn't know how to conduct my affairs with him any other way than in a straightforward fashion, and I think he grew tired of me being the guy every day that told him, "You can't do that, and let's talk about what we can do."
—Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, claiming this trope to be the reason why he was fired (and that's all we intend to say about that)

Can't Take Criticism is No Real Life Examples, Please! and we've cut RL quotes about No RL trope before. Including those pertaining to this exact individual.

I will cut per this, but was told to bring here. For future reference any real life example quotes for no real life examples can be zapped, right?

Apologises a Lot has two quotes for no clear reason. The description tries to integrate it into the Self-Demonstrating Article joke, but I have to say I'm sorry about not seeing what having two quotes has to do with apologizing a lot (the joke might work better on a page like Department of Redundancy Department, which doesn't have more than one quote), so it feels forced.

The second quote is shorter, and Brevity Is Wit, so I prefer it. Regardless of which one is used, I think one of them should be moved to Quotes.Apologises A Lot.

Edit: I've been commenting out Deranged Animation's ZCEs, and fittingly, that page's quote says nothing about the trope (the trope has more to do with what a work looks like than how it's written). In contrast, both quotes on Apologises a Lot would work, and the only problem there is that only one quote is needed.

How about swapping out Deranged Animation's quote with one of these quotes from Quotes.Deranged Animation?

"Finn, your mind's been transported back in time. And to Mars."
Abraham Lincoln, Adventure Time

"You're watching The Family Learning Channel. And now, angry ticks fire out of my nipples."

Princesses Rule has a complaining critic quote. How's this for a replacement? I'm just worried the tangent might make it confusing.

Twitch: So what about Princess Celestial? She was top dog, so why weren't she a queen? Ain't that how it works? I mean, it's king or queen, then prince or princess, then uh... baron, I think...
Crimson Sky: You think too much about the wrong things, Twitch.

So, I found this on the Quotes sub-page for Animation Age Ghetto, and it's pretty much complaining about how people on TVTropes use this trope. Should we cut it?

"The site prides itself on covering as broad a range of fiction as possible, emerging as a sometimes fascinating form of populist, open-access media scholarship. In theory, this would make it the perfect place to cover lost gems of animation, but in practice it has many blind spots. There is little discussion about (Jan) Svankmajer or Yuri Norstein, while juvenile mediocrities such as Disney's Gargoyles are treated as masterpieces on a par with the television dramas of Dennis Potter and David Simon. TV Tropes has a page devoted to what it calls the Animation Age Ghetto, which gives a reasonable if scattershot overview of the subject. The page's "examples" section, however, consists in large part of people filibustering about how their favorite superhero cartoons never caught on. The main reason that most of these cartoons never attracted adult audiences, of course, is that they are simply not for adults."
Cartoon Brew writer Neil Emmett, during his post "How Can We Make Adult Animation Truly Adult?", and ripping on This Very Wiki in the process.

[up][up] It's the quotes tab, though, not that main page. Potholes and long quotes are fine there. The question is if something that's complaining about this wiki is a problem.

And I'd say it's fine, though I admit part of that is because I worry about censorship issues when getting rid of stuff that complains about us.

I have my own problems with that quote that I'd like to posit. If it were just complaining about us, it wouldn't be a big deal, but there's a whole "complaining about people liking a show" with regards to Gargoyles specifically and other shows in general. Partly because of that, it's really in the opposite spirit of the trope it's supposedly helping illustrate.
