Now that I think about it, here’s an outline for a rewrite of Frozen 2 that I put together from the ideas being thrown around on the Frozen thread last year. I’m never actually going to do anything with it, so on the off chance someone would be interested in trying to flesh this out some more, feel free.
First Act
- In this version, the inciting incident is Elsa discovering that her parents were trying find the source of her powers when they died, while wandering the coast of Arendelle
- She’s not happy. Sure, she has friends and family around her, her kingdom is thriving, and she doesn’t have to worry about trying to hide her power, but she can’t get over a lingering sense of dissatisfaction. And honestly, it’s not really that surprising.
- She went from being locked in her room to being locked into the role of the perfect Queen (out of fear that people would start rejecting her again) and of the perfect sister since she feels responsible for the their childhood)
- We show this by reusing the concept of the deleted song “Unmeltable Me”, where Olaf entertains a group of ambassadors, intertwined with Elsa mustering up the courage to start another day as the Queen of Arendelle.
- Like "For the first time in forever", it switches between Olaf (and possibly Anna?), being goofy among the ambassadors and Elsa recounting the day she will have, getting dressed for the occasion, discussing seriously with various officials, while expressing her longing for reading a book in her room, having fun with Anna, or wandering in the forest. The song ends as Elsa finally enters the room with the ambassadors.
- Instead of Elsa singing about the voice, the “Into the Unknown” sequence (with slightly different context specific lyrics) would be a montage establishing that Elsa has been going on long walks around the kingdom when she feels overwhelmed. We can see her revisiting her ice castle, some cool visuals of her running across lakes, etc. She wants to escape the pressures of the of the castle and being the perfect sister, as well as experiment with her expanding powers, but mostly, she just wants to be alone
- She also has a new power to make underwater tunnels, we see her use a few times too. At the end of the song, she would be exploring the ocean floor and that’s where she finds the wreckage of her parent’s ship.
- She finds the waterproof box and goes back to up find what’s in it, and this is where she discovers the note and map, but it’s slightly different.
- (Also the sisters won't know about the curse on the forest. They will remember their mother’s song though)
The River found but lost
Magic Source. Elsa's Source?
A way to lift the curse?
- Since Elsa doesn't know about the enchantment on the forest, she makes the reasonable assumption that the note must be referring to her powers. She thinks that her parents thought of her powers as a curse, and were died trying to "cure" them.
- This would be devastating, validating all her anger and resentment she's felt towards them over the last few years.
- At first she doesn't know what to do about this, and tries to hide it from her family, and we get the charades scene, where she's noticeably distracted and nervous.
- Anna notices that something's wrong, and they have a heart to heart, where Elsa shows Anna the map
- This is what kicks off the plot to follow in their parent's footsteps. (Maybe they say that they have been invited for some sort of event in a nearby Kingdom as an excuse, for why they are leaving?)
- I'm also cutting the subplot about the spirits trying to destroy Arendelle, since it's inconsistent with the rules established later in the movie, is forgotten about the moment they enter the forest. (Also takes up valuable running time that could be used to better establish new characters)
Second Act:
- This one would play out more or less similarly to the movie, but this time, the sisters actually have a goal, instead of just kinda wandering aimlessly.
- They travel North, and discover the enchanted forest, meet the Northuldra, encounter and eventually befriend the wind and fire spirits, etc.
- We’re also cutting Olaf’s song here. It contributes very little to the plot, and we already added a Olaf song earlier, so we don’t need another one.
- When they meet the Northuldra and the Arendellian soldiers, they realize that the the note was actually referring to the curse on the forest and not Elsa's powers
- Since we cut all the stuff with the spirits trying to destroy Arendelle, and there's no reason for them to hurry, we can now put in a new scene where after they discover that the sisters are half Northuldra, there's a celebration, allowing the new characters a chance to breathe
- This gives us a chance to get to know all the new characters, and develop their relationships to our mains. We can have Anna and Elsa get to know Ryder and Honeymaren, Elsa doing a few party tricks with her powers, maybe a bit of sisterly bonding over a shared heritage, etc. This is also where Kristoff and Rider would go off on their comedic, reindeer B Plot
- This also gives an opportunity for the Northuldrans to give exposition, and for us to learn a bit more about the mythology
- Like he mentioned in "The Lore of Frozen 2" video, it's crazy that Altohallan and Northuldra river are completely unconnected, so we're going to have Altohallan be a tributary of the river in the very far north (so the river is fed by a glacial stream.) It's the source of the magic for the forest spirits, and by damming the river, they got cut off. (In this version some water would be flowing through the dam. Enough to keep the forest spirits alive, but not much else.) (Also, to explain why we’re seeing the spirits now, let’s say that Elsa entering the Forest created an infusion of magic reawakening them.)
- (This also means that we would have to cut the sequence where Elsa tries to cross the Ocean, because as amazing as the sequence is, it doesn't work with the new geography)
- After the feast, the sisters press northward.
- I need Kristoff to be separated from the sisters for this to work, so anyone want to come up with some wacky B plot for him?
- This part of the movie would play out similarly. They go upriver on an ice canoe Elsa sees the ice giants, panics, and sends Anna downriver, and accidentally steers into a cave just like the movie.
Third Act:
- Elsa somehow defeats the giants and keeps going upriver, until she finally finds Altohallan
- Since Altohallan be a tributary of the river, Elsa would come to a glacier with a small stream running from it, and a crack big enough for a person to enter.
- Inside the glacier, there would be a Subglacial lake, but it has an eerie blue glow.
- This is where the battle with the Water horse would take place, serving as the guardian of the lake, and the final obstacle for Elsa.
- She would jump in, and and this is where we get (a slightly cut down) struggle with the water horse,
- Eventually Elsa manages to tame it. This is also where she would realize she can see shadowy figures just beneath her, but she can’t see details and their voices are muffled.
- She needs to go deeper.
- She swims back out, and creates the ice tunnels we saw her use at the beginning.
- We start by showing scenes from Frozen 1, like in the movie, that part was great. Then we Start seeing more painful memories. A memory of her younger self longingly staring out the window at kids playing, as cracks silently start to form in the tunnel behind her.
- Elsa dives deeper.
- As in the movie, this is where she finds out that the dam was a trick, as more cracks start to form.
- Just as she finds out that her grandfather killed the Northuldra leader in cold blood, the tunnel above her gives way, and water comes crashing down. She sends off the ice message to Anna as she does in the original film, and just as the water just hit her, she raises her hands in defense, and cut to a wideshot of the lake freezing over, and the blue light fade to black...
- Since Elsa froze the entire River over, it cut the enchanted forest from the Magic entirely, creating a ticking clock. Unless the dam is destroyed giving the Forest an infusion of magical energy, the Forest will die.
- From here Anna’s story would play out pretty much the same, the only real chance being that, after she trips and is about to be crushed by a rock giant, we cut back to Elsa.
- Elsa froze the wave of water 12 inches before it hit her. She’s trapped under the ice, and is shivering and weak. She tries to melt the ice, but she can’t, since her ability to melt ice is connected to feelings of love, and right now, she feels anything but. She just found out her great grandfather didn’t trust people like her, and relived her traumatic childhood.
- Suddenly a memory materializes. It’s the scene from Frozen 1 where they say goodbye to their parents, but we get to see a bit more of it this time.
King: You’ll be fine Elsa
Elsa stands at the foot of the stairs, panicking. She’s never been alone this long, and she’s terrified. Just as her mother is about the walk out the door, she yells
Elsa: Mom Wait!
I’m sorry sweetie, we have to go. There are questions that need answering.
Elsa: but what if something goes wrong while you’re gone?
They won’t. You’ll be fine.
Elsa: but how do you know?
I don’t. But I trust you Elsa. Don’t be afraid of who you you are. You’re exactly the person you are meant to be.
The queen takes off one of Elsa’s gloves, and holds her hand ungloved hand in her own. Elsa tried to flinch away, but she won’t let her.
Your powers... We may not understand them, but I’ve always Believe they were a gift. A rare gift. And so are you Elsa.
- This gives Elsa the strength to melt the ice, and the water horse is waiting for her.
- Then we cut back to Anna, and she’s rescued by Kristoff and Swen the rest of the climax would play out similarly.
The one thing we were having trouble with is what the outcome of all these changes would be. We tried to keep the outline relatively close to the structure of what we actually got, but none were really happy with the way it ended. I believe the consensus that it would make sense from a character standpoint to have Elsa stay as queen, and Anna be the ambassador to Northuldra, but we weren’t sure how to make it work in context.

A Naruto AU where Konoha is an American suburb in The '50s
Yes, it's a parody of vintage TV shows and a tribute to old-school Americana
Lover of anime, video games, old-school Rock & Roll music, yaoi, horror, motorcycles, classic cars, trains, and historical fictionOkay, but why Naruto? That's a pretty distinctly Japanese series. Or is that the point?
And because I feel I should contribute my own idea: a My Hero Academia - The Dresden Files crossover in which Midoriya becomes a Knight of the Cross (and doesn't gain a Quirk). Ideally something that avoids the usual "Overpowered Deku" malarkey.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.I might read that.
Yes, that's kind of the point.
It is a Crack Fic after all

Lover of anime, video games, old-school Rock & Roll music, yaoi, horror, motorcycles, classic cars, trains, and historical fictionI've been toying with the idea of a The Flash (2014) fic featuring an adult version of Stargirl - well, Starwoman, who has this version's hairstyle but this version's outfit yet trying to find an idea of where to fit it in the show's timeline within an Alternate Timeline so that some of the events of the current season didn't happen, but some did, in a Broad Strokes fashion.
Choosing what to write Broad Strokes and ensure it makes sense with the canon is my problem.

I know that I dropped the show a while back but lately I just can't seem to shake the idea of a Blend-S sickfic that basically boils down to a cute story about Kaho nursing a very sick Hideri back to health. It's a relatively simple plotline but I keep thinking about it. 😳
flag edit: nonbinary flag but LuigiI don't go here but ohhhh sickfic is really cute to me. Which is weird cuz I'm kind of germaphobic IRL.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.A Holy Grail War story where an incredibly by-the-book cop summons Archer and gets Judge Dredd.
EDIT: Archer came to mind because of the Lawgiver, but Ruler could work just as well, to be honest.
Either way his Noble Phantasm is I am the Law.

"I just wanted to know the truth!"Basically A crossover fic between the Douglas Adams' multiverse (Dirk Gently, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) and RWBY.
Disclaimer: As the point when I thought about this (in other words, toyed around) was after Rooster Teeth's decision to remove the episodes on YouTube, I owe it all to the internet for RWBY canon informations.
Developed out from limbo thanks to this skit on the RWBY subreddit. All thanks to u/reddish_moose.
1. The whole Brother Gods arc is actually a result of the brothers (who were the employees of Magrathea) being drunk out of The Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster.
- They get fired after this absolute f-wordy result. Their access now restricted. After Ozpin and Salem knows this, their appropriate first response would be What?
2. Divergent from RWBY V1 E1, since Dirk and Todd arrive in Dust Till Dawn because of something that involves a corgi, an empty room (sans furniture and scattered items all over the floor.) happens. but includes the elements of the later volumes (see above for example)
3. Pyrrha and Adam survive since Blake doesn't have a reason to hold a grudge for a personal vendetta, As for Pyrrha, Dirk A (scroll it down for clarification) and Todd's intervening on RWBY Canon brings different result for the tournament.
4. It centers around the multiverse, in an Adamsian way.
- Remnant from RWBY
- Dirk Gently from Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2016's BBCA-verse, Dirk A)
- Dirk Gently from Dirk Gently (BBC Four-verse, Dirk B.)
- Dirk Gently from Dirk Gently (book-verse, Dirk C.)note
- Basically the multiverse of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy gets involved too.
- Adam would keep his Well-Intentioned Extremist to Knight Templar attitude, and NOT stalking Blake.
- Weiss, being Weiss. Tries to make sense in the bizarre world of the Adamsverse. thus being the representative of Only Sane Woman and have I Just Want to Be Normal attitude on the world (ergo, want the world to make sense to her.) tropes with Arthur Dent, respectively.
- Keeps her Catchphrase.
- Penny Polendina being Ridiculously Human Robot is a result of the somehow possibly leaked Sirius Cybernatic Corporation tech mixed up with Atlas'/Pietro's tech. SCC's GPP (Genuine People Personalities) + Atlas/Pietro. thus her attitude in Canon (about basic social interaction and hyperactivity) is justified, kinda.
- Salem and Ozpin, either both or one of them, sympathize with Wowbagger, the Infinitely Prolonged because of their unwanted longevity.
- Grimms get powered up, not weak unlike what we see in RWBY canon.
5. Possible starting point for Dirk A. would be S1 E1, post-Season One, or before/after Season 2.
6. For Dirk B. It's going to be post-Episode 3.
7. For Dirk C. It's going to be either divergent from the first, or after the second book.
8. Zimmerfield and Estevez would have an Adaptational Early Appearence thanks to someone reporting the aforementioned happenings as a missing case.
WORKING TITLE: The Aura of Holistic Remnants
Currently up for adoption.
Replies are always welcomed.

Hmm... I've got two pretty simple ideas for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power:
- First, a time travel fanfic, where Entrapta and Hordak, while researching Beast Island, found a method of time travel that wouldn't affect their timeline. (Possible?) Shenanigans ensue.
- Second, a mirror universe fanfic, where Horde is good and Princesses are evil, with one quirk: the personailities of characters would be mix with their counterparts(for example, Catra would be Catra+Adora and vice versa with Adora).
I got another idea today.
BoJack Horseman meets RWBY.
When he arrives in Remnant, BoJack thinks he's having a drunk trip at first, while Qrow thinks he's also drunk because BoJack keeps his anthropomorphism. (He's never seen a faunus who has an animal head, the rest of the Remnant population also not familiar with animal-headed faunus, because there was none.
The rest of the cast (Todd, Carolyn, Diane, Mister Peanutbutter, etc.) could appear in Remnant too.

Shards of the Orb of Dominance lands in the world of the Equestria Girls, and they start to absorb and corrupt equestrian magic, as well as take over and spawn stuff.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I had an idea for a Be More Chill Flash Forward Fic today based on Gerard Canonico shipping Rich and Brooke and Lauren Marcus seeing Brooke have a family someday. It would have Rich and Brooke as adults get together and have a kid, but there'd be some complications related to whether their child is born Squipped, and would serve as a reunion for the adult Squip Squad as they discuss how their lives have proceeded since that fateful school play.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. An MLPEG comic inspired by the tale of the Billy goats Gruff.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Because the Fanfic Ideas pages might be cut soon, I think I’ll post the ideas I posted there here.
Persona 5 / Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne
- Joker and Morgana take the role of Dante/Raidou Kuzunoha, finding their way into the Vortex World and encountering the Demi-fiend at different points. Joker's moveset would basically be somewhat similar to Raidou's, only with summoning Personas instead of demons(though the Demi-fiend can certainly mistake them for demons). Since the Demi-fiend's story wouldn't change much, the story would focus more on Joker and Morgana as they explore the Vortex World and see how different it is from the Metaverse.
- The Personas Joker summons in battle represent his bond with some of the other Phantom Thieves and his Confidants.
- A Role Swap AU where Ren Amamiya/Akira Kurusu, a boy sent to Tokyo on probation, becomes the Demi-fiend after the Conception whereas Naoki Kashima, a boy living in Tokyo with his friends Isamu and Chiaki, becomes the leader of the Phantom Thieves after wandering into the Metaverse on his way to school. Isamu and Chiaki also end up becoming Phantom Thieves(if they aren't part of the founding members) while two of the canon thieves become Reason holders.
Now that Fanfic Ideas is no more, I'll post some of my ideas here. Anyone else want to add to these and their thoughts? Soul Eater
- Team Maka, during one adventure, get inflicted with a curse that causes the following changes:
- Maka and Soul undergo Gender Bender just like they did in the Lust chapter of the Book of Eibon, with their personalities also being altered the same waynote .
- Black☆Star and Tsubaki undergo a Personality Swap, with Tsubaki becoming an egotistical Attention Whore, with Black☆Star becoming polite and mild-mannered.
- Death the Kid becomes human, while Liz and Patty turn into children and have their personalities regress to that age.
I have an idea for an Animorphs fanfic where I've mentally planned out a lot of scenes, but I'd like help organising them. Basically, it's based on the "What if they were caught during their first mission?" chapter of All Assorted Animorphs AUs (with the author's permission), where the Animorphs are captured and made into Controllers in the middle of book 1. Don't worry, they get better.
The main plot of my fic - called We Live - kicks off about a month afterwards. The A-plot would be Cassie and Aftran learning to work together and convince some Andalites (specifically Ax, Gafinilan, and Mertil) that not all Yeerks are evil and Earth is worth saving, then figuring out a way to save the other Animorphs, with occasional interludes about what Jake, Rachel, and Marco (all of whom were given to Vissers) are up to. Tobias is dead.
My main problem is that I can't decide if I should start the fic with Cassie and Aftran already getting along or not. I don't want to rehash The Departure, but I don't want to begin the story proper with a massive infodump either.
I've already written a prologue that teases the themes I'm going to explore. Warning: contains psychological torture and references to suicide.

- What if the some of the other Tales games had body swap scenarios just like Tales of Destiny and Tales of Berseria? Some notable examples can include:
- Tales of Phantasia: Cress & Mint, Arche & Chester
- Tales of Symphonia and its sequel: Lloyd & Sheena, Colette & Zelos, Genis & Presea, Raine & Regal, Emil & Marta
- Tales of the Abyss: Luke & Tear, Jude & Anise, Guy & Natalia
- Tales of Vesperia: Yuri & Estelle, Flynn & Rita, Karol & Patty, Raven & Judith
- Tales of Graces: Asbel & Cheria, Sophie & Richard, Hubert & Pascal
- Tales of Xillia: Jude & Milla, Alvin & Leia
- Tales of Hearts: Kor & Kohaku, Hisui & Ines
Copied this from the Pokemon fanfic thread, but here goes: I'm working on a fangame that's a sequel to Gen 7 and I wonder what you guys have to say about my ideas for the story so far.
-I have this concept called the Force of Evolution - a force called upon by Pokémon by instinct in order to evolve, Mega Evolve and Dynamax. The villains seek to use it to become gods
-Gladion and a mysterious girl fall in love, and said mysterious girl however, is utterly subservient to the villains in spite of that thanks to gaslighting. She grows out of it with the Aether family's help
-Lusamine has a redemption subplot in which she and her family helps said girl to be free. Her arc focuses on loneliness and trauma and healing
-The two main villains are Shadow Archetypes of Lusamine: one is an industrialist and Tragic Villain trying desperately to undo his wife's disappearance with the Force of Evolution, the other is a heartless Abusive Parent, Godhood Seeker, Bitch in Sheep's Clothing, Mad Scientist, and Vain Sorceress who is Really 700 Years Old who stole the girl from her parents and raised the girl from childhood to unlock the Force of Evolution, representing Lusamine's lowest points without a Freudian Excuse to speak of.
Does anyone remember a matter of time?:
https://www.deviantart.com/sarapsys/gallery/64964892/dphan-a-matter-of-time
HiMaybe you could have Aftran narrate that part? Then you just have a disgusted Cassie trying so hard not to see Aftran as a thinking being, while the reader is being hit with all of Aftran's emotions.
Edit: Ooh! Does she get to learn about sarcasm?

Lover of anime, video games, old-school Rock & Roll music, yaoi, horror, motorcycles, classic cars, trains, and historical fiction
Recently after rereading The Last Olympian I've had an idea knocking around my noggin for a story about an Asexual Aromantic son of Aphrodite. At first it started out as a more slice of life story about the challenges being an ace aro child of the goddess of love might entail but then I started thinking of more twists and adventures and it just turned into a straight adventure story.
"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."
