My dear Princess Sparkle; my dear Doctor Heartstrings... Welcome to Human Park!
Trixie Lunamoon

My Little Human Park is a Machinima video created using Garry's Mod that re-imagines Jurassic Park (1993) but with characters from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Like Jurassic World Dominion, it also has a prologue that takes place 65 million years before the main story.

Sometime after the events of Season 3 of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Trixie Lunamoon invites Princess Twilight Sparkle, Lyra Heartstrings, Prince Blueblood, Spike, Applebloom, and Flim to her private island to reveal an astonishing discovery: using the DNA of prehistoric mosquitoes, she has brought long-extinct prehistoric humans back to life! But soon things go wrong, the power goes out, and every pony on the island is in a race against time to escape before vicious humans kill them all.

My Little Human Park contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: In the cartoon and comics, Sombra is a ruthless, power-hungry tyrant who will stop at nothing to conquer Equestria. Here, he's the head of Trixie's security and helps out when things go south. The Terminator - standing in for Rexy - also applies, as he's harmless to the ponies around him so long as they don't bother him. Subverted with Blueblood, who stands in for Ian Malcolm; he's initially polite and tries to help during the Terminator breakout, but afterwords becomes obsessed with getting revenge on the Terminator for (supposedly) ruining his hair, to the point of kicking Lyra, Spike, and Applebloom out of Heaven so they can avenge said hair.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Pinkie Pie - the embodiment of laughter and fun - is a greedy technician who is willing to steal and sell human DNA to rival companies so she can get a lifetime supply of cupcakes, regardless of whoever may die in the process.
  • The Alleged House: Trixie was able to buy the island for twenty five bucks because there's an active volcano on it.
  • Alternate Universe: In this version of Equestria, humans existed 65 million years ago, only to become extinct for an unspecified reason, and have been brought back to life by ponies in the modern day.
  • Animal Is the New Man: Ponies rule the world, and humans have been extinct for 65 million years, save those who have been resurrected to fill Trixie's park.
  • Back from the Dead: Lyra, Spike, and Applebloom are killed on the park's electric fences and ascend to Heaven, only to be kicked out by Blueblood and fall back to the mortal world, where they carry on as if nothing happened. Also happens to Blueblood in The Stinger.
  • Badass in Distress: Lyra helps save the Terminator when he's being shot by Hitler at the climax.
  • Beast Man: Played with; some humans act entirely like non-sentient animals, while others can apparently understand what the ponies are saying.
  • Behemoth Battle: Two: The prologue has the Terminator fight Adolf Hitler, while the main story has a rematch but Hitler now has a suit of power armor and miniguns.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Much like Rexy in the films, the Terminator shows up at the climax to save the heroes from Hitler.
  • Big Entrance: As a Jurassic Park parody, it's to be expected when the Terminator shows up.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Just before the climax, Trixie reveals to the others that they can escape the island via a hot air balloon, which Lyra is not happy about.
Lyra: Why didn't you mention that earlier?!
Trixie: Because the sequence that inspired it was in Jurassic World: Dominion, which hadn't come out when this scene was originally filmed, and the balloon became a last-minute addition that replaced the original climax of this video.
    Lyra: Oh. Okay.
  • Burger Fool: Inverted; it's the tour vehicle's dream job to work as a fry cook at McDonald's.
  • Chase Scene: The Terminator chases after Twilight, Sombra, and Blueblood after the latter hits him with a water bottle.
  • Collapsing Lair: The island is ultimately destroyed by an erupting volcano, just like how Isla Nublar is destroyed by Mt. Sibo in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Unlike the film, though, Human Park is completely destroyed and sinks beneath the sea instead of being rendered uninhabitable.
  • Compressed Adaptation: The video primarily focuses on the original Jurassic Park film, but also includes elements from Jurassic World and its two sequels.
  • Cool Versus Awesome: The Terminator vs Adolf Hitler in the prologue. Doubly so at the climax, which features The Terminator fighting Adolf Hitler in a suit of power armor with four miniguns at an airfield surrounded by a forest on fire due to the island being overrun by lava.
  • Cute Bruiser: Sombra, lyra, various other ponies, and Spike. The latter because he's a baby dragon who can reduce a terrorist to a charred skeleton with his flame breath, and the former because they're cartoon ponies who wield tasers, guns and rocket launchers.
  • Death by Adaptation: Prince Blueblood dies, unlike his film counterpart, Ian Malcolm. Zig-zagged in that he's kicked out of Heaven later on, which in the rules of this universe means he's alive once again.
  • Death Glare: The survivors give this to Trixie when she wants to create a new theme park called Human World. She gets the hint and abandons her plans.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Trixie apparently never realized that giving Hitler a suit of power armor and miniguns might be a bad idea.
Lyra: Why did you give the Hitler a power suit with wrist-mounted miniguns?!
Trixie: Trixie thought the kids would love it!
  • Distant Prequel: The prologue - like its counterpart from Jurassic World Dominion - takes place 65 million years before the events of the main story.
  • The Dragon: The terrorist leader is this: he is a staunch ally of Hitler and serves him without any ulterior motive.
  • Forgot About His Powers: Played for laughs; all the unicorns forget that they can use magic until critical moments in the story.
  • Formerly Sapient Species: Zig-zagged; the humans are all treated by the ponies like this, and many act like animals (complete with roars), but many of them can think, understand what the ponies are saying, and even talk.
  • Gentle Giant: Big Boss is this, as he's not bothered by ponies swarming around him. The giant human Lyra, Spike, and Applebloom meet in the tree also counts.
  • Giant Equals Invincible: Inverted: the Terminator (who is a human in this universe) is strong and powerful, but can still be hurt in a fight.
  • Good Is Not Nice: The Terminator is neutral towards ponies and is Hitler's mortal enemy, but it won't hesitate to lash out at ponies if he's annoyed or attacked.
  • Heroic Neutral: The Terminator is this: as long as you don't bother, annoy, or harass him, he will leave you alone.
  • Humans Are Cthulhu: The ponies may be in awe at the humans, but when they come face to face with the really dangerous ones (some of whom are over four stories tall), awe is replaced with running and screaming.
  • Humble Goal: The tour vehicle's dream job is to work as a fry cook at McDonald's.
  • Improbable Use of a Weapon: Lyra defeats the terrorist leader by throwing her RPG launcher into him, which causes him to explode... for some reason.
  • It Can Think: Some humans can understand what the ponies are saying, and some - like the terrorists - can plan ambushes and use guns.
  • Karma Houdini: In the prologue, Hitler gets away with killing an entire herd of defenseless humans via his terrorist accomplice.
  • Karmic Death: Pinkie Pie turns off the power so she can escape back to the mainland with human DNA, only to be slain (off-screen) by a stormtrooper who despises anyone who isn't loyal to their cause.
  • Kid Hero: Spike saves Applebloom from a terrorist by burning him to a charred skeleton with his dragon fire.
  • The Load: Applebloom; she doesn't do anything to help anyone around her throughout the story. And unlike the original film, she has no idea how to operate computers.
Applebloom: This is a unix system! I have no idea how to use it! We're all gonna die!
  • Made of Explodium: The terrorist leader blows up after being hit by an RPG launcher; not the rocket itself, the launcher.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: That may look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but no, it's the Terminator.
Trixie: The Terminator is the most awesome human who ever lived! And with the human in this pen, both will be our star attractions!
Lyra: I thought the Terminator was a fictional robot.
  • Oh, Crap!: Multiple times, from Lyra and Blueblood realizing that the power has gone out in the Terminator paddock, to Sombra realizing that the Terrorists have broken out, and learning that the island's volcano has erupted.
  • People Zoo: It's Jurassic Park... but with humans instead of dinosaurs!
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Spike's flame breath comes in very handy when facing terrorists.
  • Race Against the Clock: The climax of the story has the ponies struggling to escape the island before it's destroyed by an erupting volcano.
  • Rerouted from Heaven: Lyra, Spike, and Applebloom are about to enter Heaven when Prince Blueblood kicks them out. In The Stinger, he's kicked out of Heaven as well.
  • Rich Bitch: Zig-zagged: Trixie is ultimately more concerned about not getting sued and losing money instead of safely running a park or saving lives. That being said, she does help others throughout the course of the story, including leading them to safety during the climax.
  • Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: Trixie is wealthy enough to run her own private island and open a theme park with prehistoric humans, but is more concerned about getting truckloads of money instead of making said park, you know, safe.
  • Riding into the Sunset: The movie ends with the surviving ponies and humans sailing and swimming towards the setting sun.
  • Rule of Cool: What human could possibly be awesome enough to take the place of the T-Rex? Arnold Schwarzenegger!
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: Sombra, when he realizes that the terrorists have broken out of their pen. Considering how dangerous they are, he's right to be afraid.
  • Sequel Hook: Subverted: After seeing that most of the humans survived the destruction of Human Park, Trixie immediately wants to build a new park called Human World... only to abandon her plans after seeing the Death Glare given to her by the other survivors.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Sombra and Big Boss - standing in for Muldoon and the brachiosaurus in the original film and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - survive the events of the film where their original counterparts did not.
  • Synthetic Voice Actor: Aside from Sombra and the stormtrooper, every speaking role is played by a text-to-speech program.
  • Take That, Scrappy!: Prince Blueblood (who's not well liked by the pony fandom) is a selfish prick who's more concerned about keeping his hair clean and not getting his hooves dirty than helping out, and is eventually blown up by a terrorist.
  • The Stinger: At the end of the credits, Prince Blueblood is kicked out of Heaven.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Prince Blueblood in spades, from deliberately provoking the Terminator to kicking Lyra, Spike, and Applebloom out of Heaven, which gets him kicked out of Heaven as well.
  • Unexplained Recovery: How Sombra recovers from being turned into a skeleton is never explained.
  • Waiting Skeleton: Sombra becomes this while trying to call the mainland for help. How he recovered is never explained.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: It's not revealed what happened to Flim after the Terminator apparently kept him as a pet.
