It doesn't also help that the name of the two guys in the skit rhymes. - Everyone X Therapy Explanation Due to all the Ship-to-Ship Combat and how messed up most of the character's lives are, some people have decided to combat both of these by jokingly shipping all the characters with the very concept of therapy itself.
- "Please step on me." Explanation Out of all of Sunny's friends, Aubrey is the one that changed the most, going from a Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak to an abrasive punk. Sunburn shippers tend to joke that Sunny would find Aubrey even more attractive and ask her to step on him, hence the quote.
- HERO TAGGED YOU Explanation (Spoilers!) While many fans believe that Sunny's friends would eventually forgive him for his accidental murder of Mari, Hero is often noted to be the one who would take longer than the others due to his love for the latter. Fans tend to exaggerate this into a full-blown hatred towards Sunny, and the aforementioned caption (which appears when Hero passes the leading role to Sunny in the game) is often used as a euphemism for Hero beating him up or worse◊.

Fans love referencing this moment, whether it be editing videos so that the outcome is Basil bursting like a melon or giving Basil trauma just from the mere sight or thought of the fruit.

It also helps that "MERRY CD" is a Christmasy song and Noelle, the Weird Route's linchpin, is a Christmas-themed character. Cue the ever so common "Toby is either a genius or lazy" jokes found in the Undertale and Deltarune communities.

Some have joked about the latter three friends not immediately forgiving Sunny and Basil for the truth, or that their Headspace selves would fight Sunny on sight after the good ending.

- Racist Aubrey. ExplanationAubrey's No, You retort at Kel calling pink a gross color was to call Kel a gross color. Because Kel in the Real World has a darker skin tone than Aubrey, the fandom proceeded to jokingly call her out for her "racism".
- The OMORI soundtrack is Russian RouletteExplanation (spoilers)Many fans have noted that it is a frightening mistake comparable to Russian roulette to put the entire game soundtrack on shuffle, as the soundtrack has two tracks that near-identical to one another at first: "Lost at a Sleepover" (the theme that plays in the Neighbors Room) and "Friends." (a creepy corruption of the former track that plays in a Black Space area where Basil is brutally murdered by Omori's friends). One oft-cited challenge is "OMORI Russian Roulette", in which the listener compiles a playlist with multiple instances of "Lost at a Sleepover" and one instance of "Friends", then puts the playlist on shuffle and obscures the title of the current track, making it more like the lethal game of chance. Without listening closely, one might not realize they're listening to "Friends." until it is too late.
- Omori is Low Tier God Explanation (spoilers)The final boss Omori has him trying to coerce Sunny into giving up life. Because of this, comparisons between LTG's infamous "You should kill yourself NOW!" speech were made.
- Basil is Logan Paul.Explanation (spoilers?)This alludes in particular to an infamous vlog in which Logan Paul (wearing Squeeze Toy Alien headgear) and his team entered the "suicide forest" of Aokigahara in Japan, discovered the body of a man who hanged himself and posed for pictures with it. Parodies of the apology video posted by Paul amid the ensuing backlash have been done in-character as Basil or Sunny.
