Lucy Griffiths, (24 April 1919 — 29 September 1982), was a British character actress, often Typecast as a dotty old woman.

She appeared in small roles in Hammer Horror films including The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll, The Phantom of the Opera (1962), and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell.

She also made brief appearances in six Carry On films, with her most memorable roles coming as Miss Morris in Carry On Doctor and the old woman whose headphones explode while she is wearing them in Carry On Again Doctor. She also appeared in a Deleted Scene of Carry On Loving, and appeared in two other films also produced and directed by Peter Rogers and Gerald Thomas, those being Please Turn Over and Nurse on Wheels.

On the small screen, she was a frequent bit player in sitcoms, popping up in Doctor in the House, Please Sir!, On the Buses, All Creatures Great and Small (1978), and Mind Your Language.

She died at the age of 63.

Not to be mistaken for Lucy Griffiths, the British actress of the same name born in 1986.
