- Bratty Half-Pint: Short? Check. Abrasive? Check. Convinced he's the greatest detective and fighter in the world? ...Check?
- Broken Pedestal: How he talks about Ra's Al Ghul, and at some points seems to show shades of this toward Batman himself.
- Kid Detective: Being apprenticed to Batman has it's perks. So does all the fancy tools that he has at his disposal for this exact purpose.
- Kid Hero: He's been Robin since he was nine.
- Unscrupulous Hero: At least that's what he was before arriving.
- It's All My Fault: How he feels about Akira and Naoya's deaths. He irrationally believes that anyone who gets close to him will inevitably meet a horrible fate.

- Enfant Terrible: She seems like a perfectly sweet little girl. In fact, she's exactly the serial killer that the billboards paint her as.

Alive... for now.- Allergic to Routine: He's done everything possible in the Underground, which is why being in a new world excites and interests him.
- Boring Insult: When Rideaux suggested he ingest weed killer, Flowey called the insult boring and that he heard it used multiple times.
- Broken Ace: Flowey sees himself as this, with master knowledge of a wide variety of subjects, but unable to feel compassion or emotion.
- Culture Clash: He's been given some bizarre looks by other people when he describes how monster culture works.
- Hypocrite: Frequently mocks and berates others for their past crimes despite him basically doing the same thing.
- Insistent Terminology: He insists on being called Flowey, saying he chose that name.
- Reluctant Psycho: Flowey truly believes he is this with him believing he can't control when he kills.
- RPG Mechanics 'Verse: Flowey hails from one, complete with dialog options, a shop menu, and battle mechanics, and the fact that almost everyone else doesn't trips him up.
- Soul Jar: Flowey's billboard emphasizes this point, as he's described as Vessel. He's yet to absorb a single soul, though.
