This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsHi! At Mary Sue, please correct the dead link http://www.merrycoz.org/papers/MARYSUE.HTM to its current location: http://www.merrycoz.org/papers/MARYSUE.xhtml
Thank you!
On Bara Genre, could the image should be potholed to Website.Pixiv?

Thanks. Dark Koutei is its own entry (i.e. it goes before the Jetters tree; the two are not connected). Looks good otherwise.
Also, at Transformers, only Generation One needs to be italicized, not IDW.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM Drafts- Take That, Scrappy!: Jessica has Ruben, a wacky neighbor with a crush that insist on bringing her banana bread. One day he knocked and found Killgrave instead, or ordered him to commit suicide. Jessica later called him on that, but he pointed "Oh, well, that... That milquetoast little man-boy? He interrupted me while I was leaving you a present, which, apparently, you didn't even find. Come on! You cannot pretend he didn't irritate you, too! I wanted to slap him after 30 seconds!".
Does that really count? Kilgrave is a mind-raping actual rapist, Ruben was mildly annoying.
Why not? It's the villain the one who is more likely to give the scrappy a well deserved crap.
Ultimate Secret WarsIt's also very badly written and unclear — until the reply, I didn't know who was meant to be the scrappy.
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!Requesting that the last sentence of the second paragraph on Quotes Wiki be changed to the following (change in bold, removed stuff in strikeout), to discourage multiple page quotes.
Done to here except for 16208. As others have noted, it at the very least needs a good rewrite.
At Marvel Cinematic Universe, for Forever Red, please change Natasha's to Natasha Romanov's...
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsBig Bra to Fill: Please change this example:
- Black Widow in Iron Man 2, as played by Scarlett Johansson - while not quite comic-book proportions, Scarlett is pretty big by Hollywood standards.
to this:
- Downplayed by Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as played by Scarlett Johansson - while not quite comic-book proportions, Scarlett is pretty big by Hollywood standards.
Think this would be a good addition to add for Asperger Syndrome. Source: personal experience living with autism/Asperger and research conducted on meltdowns.
- There are times when someone with Asperger can have a meltdown: that is come across as confused in a situation that is unfamiliar to them or even one that is, one that they feel uncomfortable in, one that they feel a lack of control in. High functioning Asperger can recognize the signs of a meltdown and take steps to prevent or limit their reaction, but it can come on suddenly and for no reason. Crying, extreme mood swings, anger and severe emotional distress are common traits of someone in the midst of a meltdown. They may lash out at others and indulge in self harm, hitting themselves in the head, hitting their head into the ground or wall, to the untrained eye it looks like a temper tantrum. However a temper tantrum is to illicit a reaction, Asperger do not do this for attention, they do it because they are overloaded and cannot cope, and the high functioning may actively seek to do this in private so as not to burden other people with their reaction. Trying to reason with someone in the midst of a meltdown is difficult at best because they are completely off the radar, not thinking about anything else bar trying not to feel so distressed, hence the self harm so that the physical pain can let them feel something else than the mental and emotional distress they are currently having, and anything that can be said or done could upset them further. The best plan to try and resolve this issue should it occur? Do your best to mitigate the harm to them and not cause them further distress, them let them get it out of their system. It may pass in the space of a few minutes or it may be something that lasts for hours, depending on the individual and the circumstances. Either way trying to resolve the reasons for the meltdown can only be achieved once it has passed and the Asperger is in a better frame of mind to take in advice to help themselves.
YMMV.Doctor Who: Please remove the link to Bowties Are Cool under Memetic Mutation, since it's no longer a trope. EDIT: Nevermind. I just realised the page isn't locked.
Anyway, Main.We Are In A Desert Punk needs to be recreated and cut to get rid of a ghost wick.

Can Would Not Harm A Child be made a redirect to Would Not Hurt A Child?
On YMMV.Jessica Jones 2015, please change LEGO Adaptation Game to VideoGame.LEGO Adaptation Game so I'll be able to cut the Main redirect.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)A Serbian Film, Nekromantik, The Green Elephant, and The Human Centipede should probably be added to the Euroshlock page. Cannibal Holocaust and Maladolescenza might also fit. Also possibly the early films of John Waters (Mondo Trasho, Multiple Maniacs, Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, and Desperate Living) which pretty much fit except they're American, but so are some of the others on the list.

On the American Political System page, this statement, "At present, four of the (currently eight; Justice Antonin Scalia passed away in February 2016) justices on the bench were appointed by Republican presidents, and the other four by Democratic presidents." needs to be updated now that the vacancy has been filled.
Characters.Final Fantasy VII Playable Characters
Under Zack Fair's folder:
ZCE + violation of Weblinks Are Not Examples.
Also, a few lines violate the "one trope per line only" rule:
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold/Troll: Implied in the original game and then retconned with Crisis Core. Cloud in the original game could give some pretty dickish responses in the dialogue trees. The game's Reveal, where it's learned that he based his badass persona on Zack's, seems to indicate that he picked this up from Mr. Fair. Crisis Core, however does away with all of this and writes Zack as a heroic and energetic Nice Guy. Word of God and creation materials have given a Hand Wave that Cloud's fake persona was based on his image of a SOLDIER rather than specifically Zack.
- Love Makes You Dumb/Love Makes You Crazy: Despite knowing that Shinra is hunting him with orders to kill, he still attempts to return to Midgar, Shinra's headquarters, to see Aerith again.
- Shirtless Scene/Swimsuit Scene: The Costa del Sol scene in Crisis Core features Zack in his swim trunks hanging out at the beach.
Remove the tropes which are bolded.
Cheers

Slight expansion for Monster.Literature G To L:
- Goosebumps: Piano Lessons Can Be Murder: Mr. Toggle is a self-described brilliant robotician who runs a piano school that Jerry is sent to by his parents. While he appears to be a friendly, eccentric caretaker who shows Jerry around the school, it soon becomes clear who he really is. Creating Dr. Shreek to act as a figurehead, Toggle would lure people of all ages to his school for lessons, only to murder them and make their hands into piano-playing automatons. One victim's ghost was condemned to haunt Jerry's house to warn him away, and it's implied at one point that he could hear another crying for help. When the boy finally discovers his crimes, Toggle calmly explains that he did it partially to further his robotics research and also because he thinks music sounds so much better without human mistakes. He's only stopped from inflicting this same fate on Jerry when the ghosts of his victims arrive to get their hands back and avenge their murders. Mr. Toggle was motivated by little else than his artistic vision and ego, and remains one of the most twisted characters in a normally campy franchise. (The TV Adaptation even implies his first victim was his mother, who ends up tormenting him to play the piano in her place forever.)
- 16216: Done
- 16217: Just skimming through it, there are quite a few grammatical errors and, when compared to the other existing entries, it is fairly lengthy. Please rewrite.
- 16218: Done
- 16219: Googling "would not harm a child" literally has Would Not Hurt A Child as the first search result, so there is no benefit there.
- 16220: Done
- 16221: Added the first four. If you're not sure about the others, we aren't either.
- 16222: Done, please link the actual page you're requesting the edit on next time.
- 16223: Done
