Introducing Temtemology, the first Temtem fanfic (as far as I know) that isn't Porn Without Plot or a RWBY crossover!

...In other words, it's a Mockumentary anthology with short chapters in the style of David Attenborough. Rated T for depictions of the harsher side of nature.

I wrote the first chapter about a month ago, but I've been sitting on it because I was trying to write a second chapter so it would hit the 750 word minimum to be posted on Offprint (since I don't like AO3 that much), but I was stuck on it and decided to scrap it.

I just posted the second chapter of Temtemology. This one is about how Halzhi have adapted to living in the Rice Fields. Temtem still doesn't have a fanfic scene, though, and I don't know if any of you frequenters have heard of it.

Anyway, I've had the half-written chapter for about a month, but I decided to finish it today to get it out my system so I can focus on writing Animorphs psychological horror.

Summary (via Fanfiction.net): After spending half a year of her life in captivity, the young Adrestian noble Monica von Ochs finds herself back at Garreg Mach Monastery where she is given the opportunity to prepare herself for life beyond the Officers Academy, and the unfamiliar dangers that come with it.

Notes: This story came about because I was frustrated with how little information was given about Monica and her family's history compared to other NPCs. It then became a What If? story where Monica doesn't get killed by Kronya and somehow finds a way back to the Officers Academy to make up for the time "those who slither in the dark" stole from her, and I decided to try to figure out how she disappeared in the first place as well as develop other bits and pieces of her Backstory. Mine isn't the first Three Houses story to feature Monica as a major character—A Chance for a New Dawn beat me to it by several months (but the last time I checked, the story hasn't been updated since November 2020, which is unfortunate).

I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!

Okay. So I've got some stories of my own, but my two most recent stories have not gotten a lot of genuine review work. I admit it could probably just be due to them being niche Skylanders crossovers. Still, I would like show my work, maybe have a few tips if one is willing. Also, just know that I do have a habit of making unique accounts for several different sites, so know that omnimegalander is still me.

• Title: Ben 10: Reincario
• Source: Ben 10 and Pokémon, specifically Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew
• Summary (from Fanfiction.net): Nearly 15 years after sacrificing himself to save the Tree of Beginning from its untimely end, Lucario's destiny changes upon meeting a mysterious professor. Now on a brand new world with creatures of every shape and size, Lucario works alongside the hero of the universe, Ben Tennyson, to protect the innocent and fight against powerful villains, both old and new.
• Notes: This story takes place 1 year after Ben 10: Omniverse, but with several differences (biggest of all being that Julie and Ben are still in a relationship). This is my very first fanfic, hence why the beginning is a little bit rough. Later chapters do get better, thankfully, and I've gotten a handle for the plot, so things will be getting to the good stuff soon.

• Title: Kir-Ben 10: Poyo Force!
• Source: Ben 10 and Kirby, specifically Kirby: Right Back at Ya!
• Summary (from Fanfiction.net): The young Star Warrior Kirby ends up crash landing on a planet called Earth due to the forces of the evil Nightmare. Found by the Omnitrix wielder Ben Tennyson and his date Julie, he becomes the couple's unofficial son. However, with the threat of the Highbreed and Nightmare drawing near, they, alongside the mysterious Meta Knight, must fight them to save the universe from evil.
• Notes: In contrast to the story above being more action and adventure, this is a lot more character driven, especially since the story's start is in the middle of the first season of Ben 10: Alien Force. Ben has to deal with not only the Highbreed, but the monsters that have come to target what amounts to his son. Speaking of said monsters, I've given more focus to other characters, pushing two Monsters of the Week (Yamikage and Dr. Moro) to Ascended Extra status, and also incorporated characters from Kirby games released after the anime ended, like Magolor.

After that is:

• Title: Roller Brawl: The Mega Cyborg
• Source: Skylanders and Mega Man (Classic), though using the plot from the comic series as a starting point.
• Summary (from Fanfiction.net): When Kaos succeeds in eating the sky, Roller Brawl ends up thrown to a new world. Found fatally wounded by Rock Light, she is rebuilt as DLN-00C and Dr. Light's first Cyborg. In spite of her pain, Roller Brawl resolves to be a hero. Now, she fights the forces of mad scientist Dr. Wily alongside Rock, aka Mega Man, for everlasting peace! A tale of family and action awaits!
• Notes: Out of all the stories I have, this is the one with the most personal attachment to me. Not only are Mega Man and Skylanders two of my favorite video game series, but I based this on a story that inspired me to start making my own fanfics. On a plot-related note, though, this may start as an Isekai story with aspects of a Hurt/Comfort Fic, but things become more complicated when it turns out Dr. Wily helped Kaos build the Sky Eater.

Finally comes:

• Title: Skylandersona: Phantom Thieves Vs Dark Stygian
• Source: Skylanders and Persona 5
• Summary (from Fanfiction.net): When a gang of dream terrorists called the Dark Stygian escape, they flee from Skylands to a new world. With no other options, the Dark Skylander Blackout follows them to a strange new world, and has to work with a group of young vigilantes used to entering worlds forged by the collective minds of others. As for the Dark Stygian, they'll never see it coming ... when Darkness Falls!
• Notes: Honestly, this story is the one with the greatest experimentation, which will be more apparent once more chapters come in, since the introductory chapters aren't done yet. That being said, this story is an exploration of one trope that fascinates me: the Card-Carrying Villain. The Dark Stygian, with a few exceptions, are not at all like the previous Targets of the Phantom Thieves of Heart, who hide their depravity behind a Mask of Sanity/facade of normalcy from society: they know full well they're evil, and they positively revel in spreading fear and terror, hence why I'd describe them as a fusion of Monokuma and Freddy Krueger. What could make someone into this, and is it possible to bring them back from such a mindset of taking blatant sadistic pleasure in the suffering of others? With that, though, this puts this story into considerably Darker and Edgier territory than the other fanfics.

BlazBlue Alternative: Remnant

It's a BlazBlue/RWBY Fusion Fic that was inspired by Aura of the Azure and Against Despair. In it, the BlazBlue characters are part of the world of RWBY, with Ragna, Tsubaki, Noel, and Makoto attending Beacon Academy. Due to For Want Of A Nail, different teams are formed. There's Team RNJR, aka Ranger (Ruby, Noel, Jaune, and Ragna), Team TSYP, aka Zap (Tsubaki, Weiss, Yang, Pyrrha), and Team BRNN, aka Brine (Blake, Ren, Makoto, and Nora).

The BlazBlue villains are also around, with Izanami as Empress of Mistral and Relius and Terumi working within Salem's inner circle.

At this point, I recently uploaded the 40th chapter and would like to get as much feedback as possible on it. Maybe it'll even get a tropes page some day, but that's probably still a ways off.

Back in 2017 I wrote (in my native language, italian) a little mystery story taking place in Naruto Verse.

This year I decided to translate it in english (hope I didn’t mess up the verbs) and publish it on the big sites.

Basically, it’s an undercover mission to find and bring to justice a serial killer enemy of Konoha who for years loved make masks out of his victims’ faces.

The story is full of clues, suspects, foreshadowings, hints, big and small plot twists.

Here’s the kicker: the murderer (or “Masquerader”, as they codenamed him) choose to hide in an orphanage. Many original characters are presents.

The story is also narrated in first person and in past tense. That’s because I wanted to empathize and identify myself with the hero.

By the way, here’s the other kicker: the hero of the story is none other than Choji Freaking Akimichi, my absolute favorite character in the whole franchise and beyond.

In promoting another fic I'm working on, I'm also writing for an Owl House/Devil May Cry fic called The Silver Raven.

The premise is that Nero ends up being born as the son of Lilith Clawthorne, the leader of the Emperor's Coven, and grows up on the Boiling Isles.
