You ask the next poster a question, and then the next poster answers it and posts their own question.
Do you own any pets?
Quite a few times, none I can name specifically right now.
Do you ever get annoyed when someone criticize your favorite work for something their favorite series does as well?
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."Yes but downplayed. I get upset because most of the detraction is either not constructive and/or poorly thought out. The hypocrisy would set this over top though.
Who is the most unusual fictional character you know of? (not counting Eldritch Abominations and its subtropes)
These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else.As far as I know, I'm settled between Dr. Screwball Jones from Wander over Yonder and The Precursors from Jak and Daxter. The former is an Ax-Crazy banana and the latter are Benevolent Precursors who turn out to be Ottsels, half otters and half weasels. And who would forget me, SCP-426? Assuming I'm not an Eldritch Abomination of some kind.
For a less silly question, have you encountered any paranormal phenomena in person?
Edited by KJsixteen on Apr 11th 2020 at 11:14:54 AM
Google Snake Game. Not really. Sorry for the boring answer, but I don't really believe in anything paranormal.
What's the most overpowered character you've ever seen in anything?
A great Mascot Mook.Gameplay-wise? It's Summer Zooey. This page already has a pretty good write-up on how broken she is, but to reiterate: She's a Dark-element character. Dark has a ton of synergy with Enmity, which raises a character's attack power as their health decreases. Summer Zooey's Conjunction sets your entire party's HP to 1, but also makes them immune to attacks for the next turn and grants Life Drain for several turns. This basically gives your entire party ridiculous damage output from turn one without the risk of having characters at extremely low health. She was so powerful that she also sees use in other elements. She's a bit less useful nowadays, with bosses that can bypass her damage immunity or simply can't be nuked out of existence in short order, but the introduction of Arcarum adds in a whole smorgasbord of encounters that makes her very useful again.
If we're talking lore-wise... Well, Zooey herself is actually pretty up there (it's telling that the writers had to keep her away from apocalyptic events just to maintain dramatic tension), but the real king of overpoweredness would be capital-G God.
How do you write an overpowered character that is still interesting?

Lovepilled and HopemaxxingSee How to Stop the Deus ex Machina.
What's an instance of Fridge Brilliance that you thought of completely on your own?
These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else.Magritte's picture "The Treachery of Images" ('this is not a pipe') can be lying in three different ways, each connected to a different kind of sign or communicative medium (images; words; indexical signs, or pointing through spatial references).
Do you have a favourite painter?
No, not really.
Do you use Windows, Mac or Linux?
He/they | Mostly here on my free daysIf an iPad's counts as one Mac, I'd say I mostly use that.
Do you know any non-English languages?
A little bit of Vietnamese.
If anyone else played and beaten Hero Core, which Shade Of Conflict would it fall into and why? Google Snake Game.

Can you describe your favorite anime/videogame/show with a Spongebob quote?
Edited by Oggy123 on Apr 19th 2020 at 12:31:43 AM
Yes, I can.
- — Spongebob himself
The amount of times this has happened in Kotoura-san is crazy for a 12-Episode Anime.
Do you think the US will have a second revolution or civil war this decade?
These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else.I understand very little of American history or politics, having never been there in my life. So, dunno really.
What tattoo would you get? Or, if you have one, describe?
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun.I've long told myself I'd get a lightning bolt on my right shoulder, just like the one on my shirt here. I think I've wanted it since I was 14 or so, and I haven't wavered on it so I'm pretty certain I'd be cool with keeping it forever, just as one should.
(Now that I think about it, a ⌘ one would be cool too. Dunno where I'd put it, though.)
Vibe check: how you doing? Everything good? It's a weird time right now, and if you're reading this, I hope you and your loved ones are doing okay. Honest.

oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘Thanks! Cabin fever's been hitting me surprisingly hard for an introvert who spends a lot of time indoors already, and trying to figure out my next steps forward in my art career has been pretty difficult. Otherwise, though, I'm doing alright. My family and I are all healthy so far, and my town hasn't seen a lot of crazy, so that's nice.
What's something awesome that you've done or had happen to you recently?
I've been making an electric guitar with my dad and my brother
Have you heard of Vocaloid, and if so, what's your favorite song?
Oh, I like that one too! I'm working on an UTAU cover, and have an MMD video in progress as well.

Yes. Hibikase is a personal favorite of mine.
Is there an obscure work that you wish more people knew?
Oh snap, Corrector Yui! I remember liking that show as a kid.
Edited by ArmoredFury on Apr 21st 2020 at 9:00:43 PM
Lovepilled and Hopemaxxing[up] Yes, I know of Vocaloid. No, I don't listen to that music.
Also yes, Corrector Yui. It's also quite the interesting case of No Export for You when it comes to the United States.
Do you watch the Darwin Awards?

These two may literally be more bark than bite, but they are no less tenacious than everyone else.1) Hm...well, I did discover this awesome comic on Tapas the other day called Future...Sound? Star? I can't remember. It's an awesome Vocaloid comic about a Prototype Miku who wants to be a star.
2) I don't know what that is, so, no, sorry...
What is your favorite trope?
The Woobie. This kind of character just tugs at my heartstrings.
What's a moment in a work that you find really Narmy?
A great Mascot Mook.HE WAS THEIR FRIEND! AND HE BETRAYED THEM!
Is there anything that falls under Narm Charm for you?
Despite his Ugly Cute appearance, there is something unsettling about Godzilla's Kamata form, thanks to its, large unfocused eyes, and the massive amount of blood pouring from its gills. As funny as the waddling can get, the awkward gait gave me a feeling that this creature is utterly off.
For a less Nightmare Fuel-focused Narm Charm, the Large-Ham Announcer in the Gradius is pretty cheesy, but the spirit in his voice gives the series an upbeat space adventure tone.
When discussing fictional works, why do people usually say "protagonist/main character and villain" rather than "hero and villain"? It kinda bothers me in the context of parallel language. Google Snake Game.
Because sometimes the main character of a story isn't necessarily the primary force for good in its narrative. For instance, Death Note is about Light Yagami, but he isn't the hero of the story; if anything, he's the villain, but he's still the viewpoint character, while L is treated as an antagonistic force against him despite being a symbol for what we, the audience, recognize as the side of the conflict with a more sympathetic position. Works with murky or outright alien moral scales make it a bit hard to conform to the traditional definitions that "hero" and "villain" imply. (Plus, there's some stories out there that don't even have an opposing party as a source of conflict.)
Oh, okay, misread a bit. Maybe the term "antagonist" just slips folks' minds? At any rate, I usually go for "protagonist" if I'm using "antagonist," same deal with "hero/villain."
Do you like donuts? If so, what kind?

oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘Glazed or cream filled.
Least favorite year of your life?
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."
Like the entire Harry Potter series, Rurouni Kenshin...the list goes on.
Does Hype Aversion ever get to you?
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?
