As of the post-release update for Kuro II, Fie holds the record for the "highest number of playable appearances in the Trails series," with a total of 7. Furthermore, unlike the runners-up for said title (Estelle, Joshua, Tita, and Agate), all of Fie's playable appearances are consecutive, giving her a second record on top of that.
The five "Dual Arts" in Kuro II, as well as their elements, are as follows:
Gold Thrust: Wind and Space
Ivy Frost: Water and Earth
Thor Smasher: Fire and Wind
Rock Gravity: Earth and Time
Nebulas Cannon: Time and Mirage
Divine Phoenix: Space and Fire
Cetus Phantasma: Mirage and Water

Acting for Two: Unsurprising for a series known for having many characters, some voice actors had to double up. For confirmed cases:
Ascended Fan Nickname: Japanese fans had given Swin and Nadia the collective nickname "Su-Na-" sometime after their game debut in Reverie. If the player talks to Anyanote The little girl running the sauna/bathhouse in Edith during the night portion of Kuro II Chapter 2B, she'll refer to the two as such.
Crossdressing Voices: As with Joshua, Wazy, and Elliot before him, Quatre is played by a woman (Mutsumi Tamura) in the Japanese version. Meanwhile in the English dub, he is played by a non-binary voice actor (John Patneaude).
Fan Translation: There was a fan-translation by Zerofield made some time after the game's release. Unfortunately, it was hit with a cease and desist by NIS, though there have been attempts to translate the game following the C&D incident.
Official Fan-Submitted Content: Falcom held a promotional contest for Kuro II that allowed artists within the fanbase to submit their own posters of one of the three movie prompts to be used in said game. Said movies were: a legal thriller featuring Judith, an LGBT drama featuring Nina, and a monster horror movie. Winners would have their creations put into the game through free DLC, and will also have a B2-size poster of their submission sent to them with a copy of Kuro II on release day.
Jack and Halle were voiced in Sky the 3rd Evolution by Masakazu Morita and Miku Yoshikawa, but are now played by Kentaro Tone and Yua Nagae respectively.
In spite of Aoi Yūki reprising her role as Renne, she doesn't do the same for Kaela, who is instead voiced by Mayuko Kazama.
In Kuro II, Haruka Michii succeeds the role of Kilika from Chizu Yonemoto, who had voiced the character since Sky the 3rd, due to the latter actress's retirement.
Gin, the old lady running the tobacco shop near Monmarte, was voiced by Tomomi Yamakawa in the first Daybreak game, then by Marie Oi in the second game. Likewise, Aramis student Julian is voiced by Makoto Minami in the first game and by Seiji Maeda in the second.
The first games' Japanese collectors set (named the SPRIGGAN SET) includes an art book, a data book of the setting and characters, a mini soundtrack CD and a three sided back case modeled after a Xipha. Meanwhile, the English release also includes an art book and soundtrack CD as well as a steel book case, a business card case and several art cards based on the in-universe films. It also includes an option for plushies of both Van and Agnès.
The second games' collectors edition includes a mini soundtrack cd, a desktop calendar and a large microfiber modeled after the map of Calvard.
In Japanese: Tsugumi Sakuragi voiced extras in the first game, including a female announcer and the Holo Core Vine, before being cast as recurring character Mirabel in the second game.
In English:
Dawn M. Bennett, who voiced antagonist Mariabell in Cold Steel IV, plays main cast member Risette here.
Jason Marnocha previously voiced minor character Roose in Reverie, but got to play major antagonist Gerard Dantès this time.
Tetsu Inada and Takahiro Yoshimizu reprise their respective roles as Zin and Walter, 14 years since they played the characters in Sky The 3rd. Likewise, Chizu Yonemoto returned to play Kilika in Daybreak I.note If one counts the Sky Evolution games, then it would be 5 years for all 3 actors
Eri Yamazaki returns as Lila, after previously playing the character in the Sky Evolution games.
What Could Have Been: The Visual Collection book for Kuro II reveals a design for a Grendel-esque Taikun that never made it into the game proper.
Azumi Waki, who previously played Lapis in Reverie, voices Zita in Kuro II.
Yoshinori Ishikawa, who voices the junior bracer Grey in Kuro II, previously played Abbas in Zero Evolution (before being replaced by Takahiro Fujimoto in Azure Evolution).
Shigeyuki Susaki voiced Aaron's friend Sei in the first game and Maxim's junior Asuran in the second.
