"I'm Dr. Henry Miller, and I'm going to teach you all what you failed to learn the first time I slaughtered each and every one of you."

"You dumb asses, when a person enters these torture suits it automatically deploys torture mode, meaning YOU'RE NOT GETTING OUT...I'm gonna press...[this button], and i'm gonna watch as you die, and scream my name. I'll watch as your family looses you and wonders why you never came home for a warm meal. I'll watch as your family wonders why you never came back home to say goodnight to your children. Goodbye fools, it was a shame it had to come to this."
Alison, The Return to Freddy's: The Dreadful Truth

Considering the subjects that the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise often tackles, it's no surprise that some of these fans have handled these subjects with some particularly monstrous individuals.

Specific Works

  • World fanfic Enter the Nightmare Realm (link): The Nightmarionne was The Dragon to Lord Nightmare and the Evil Twin of the Puppet. Planning to turn the living realm into his own nightmare realm, he offers Springtrap a deal: Allow his child to be used as a Living Battery, or have him rot in "Down Below", with Springtrap choosing the former, with the child later describing it as having never-ending nightmares. After the Fazbear Gang defeats Nightmare, Nightmarionne ambushes them, brutally mangling them and leaving them to die in the snowy mountains, later sending his minions to finish them off. Taking advantage of Nightmare's weakened state, Nightmarionne kills him, taking his soul and lying to the others about what happened to them, becoming their leader in the process. Later, during the final battle, Nightmarionne taunts the puppet with mocking hallucinations, tricking her into brutalizing the Phantoms, and attempts to dispose of them. Finally, when the Nightmares agree to a peace treaty, Nightmarionne absorbs all the Nightmares souls, kills Springtrap, mortally wounds the puppet, and charges up an attack that'll send everyone to hell, including himself.

Others

    A - K
  • Dayshift at Freddy's series: Dr. Henry Miller is a dangerous Serial Killer and Mad Scientist who killed numerous kids in his own circus and pizzeria and put their souls into machines in the hope of having a soul helping him to pass the barrier that divides the living world from the afterlife. Henry manipulates his own "partner" William Afton into helping him, only to then arrange his horrible fate in a suit, conducting horrible experiments on him when William comes Back from the Dead, and causing a multitude of deaths throughout the Freddy Fazbender locations, eventually damning numerous souls and causing more destruction. In the "Evil Route", Henry possesses Jack after the latter kills William, intending to continue his killing spree.
  • Final Nights series: William Afton is the catalyst for all of the series' tragedy. Afton got mad at Henry Stillwater for denying him the creation of Proto-Spring Freddy and Proto-Spring Bonnie, so he used gas to make him hallucinate, which eventually got him killed. When Afton's wife Martha threatened to leave with the kids if he didn't scale down his grand ambition, Afton killed Martha and buried her body in the backyard. The murder gives Afton a taste for blood, so he starts killing children at his pizzeria locations, first using the Spring Bonnie suits to lure them away. Afton was responsible for the deaths of many children and stored all their bodies inside the animatronics, which brought many of them to life in tortured states. Afton's actions would lead to the ruination of many lives, including his entire family, something that Afton would show no care about. Even after his death, Afton's effects on the many lives he has ruined are so bad that it takes several decades to undo all the damage he has caused.
  • Four Games, One Story; Six Nights, One Horror (link): Dave Miller, this time an original character instead of an alias used by William Afton, is even more evil than the Purple Guy himself. A pedophile, Dave repeatedly raped the eight-year-old Charlotte Emily, constantly threatening her that if anyone finds out, no one will ever see her again. One day, Dave strangled her to death and ditched her body in an alley near Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. With his actions causing Henry's Sanity Slippage and Cassidy's fear of the animatronics, even William considered Dave to be a monster.
  • The Glitched Attraction: William Afton was a Serial Killer of children responsible for the tragedies that struck the Fazbear Franchise. Returning decades later, Afton corrupted Vanessa into his murderous apprentice "Vanny" and set up an operation in the Fazbear Attraction. Afton and Vanny release a virus into the attraction to make the animatronics kill those who entered. They would lure someone inside, have the machines kill them to extract their remnant, or Afton would have Vanny capture and vivisect them personally. Then they would use their victim's phone to lure the next victim inside. Every time someone's remnant was injected into Afton, their mind would be trapped in his soul for as long as he lives.
  • Happiest Day (link): The "Purple Guy" is a thuggish, smug representative of an unseen company trying to buy Freddy Fazbear's pizza. After the original owner refuses to sell, no matter how much money he offered, the Purple Guy murdered a young boy outside of the restaurant; the controversy destroyed the owner's reputation and forced him to sell the pizzeria. Becoming the new manager, the Purple Guy grew a taste for killing; one night when 5 kids were having a birthday party at Freddy's unsupervised, the Purple Guy donned his "Spring Bonnie" outfit and cheerfully slaughtered them all.
  • Hidden Lore (link): Peter was a member of Fazbear Management. He set about murdering children, believing that murdering them and sealing their souls into the animatronics would improve business. He murders a girl after she and her friends infiltrated the pizzeria, and he pins the blame on a janitor. He disguised himself as Golden Freddy, and he lured a young boy into the back, murdered him, and imprisoned his soul inside the Puppet. Later on, he locks a repairman in the pizzeria and he leaves him to the mercy of the animatronics as a means of covering his tracks. When he was confronted by the spirits of the children that he had murdered, he mocked them for being stupid enough to follow him, and that he would see them in hell.
  • Killer in Purple 2: William Afton, despite being the protagonist, manages to be even worse than he is in canon. Killing various children, including his friend Henry's daughter, Afton attempts to kill Henry by pushing him off a lighthouse before leaving Hurricane. Coming back to town after some time and creating Glitchtrap, Afton opens a new pizzeria to kill more kids For the Evulz, using their corpses to make pizzas which he then serves to his customers. When surrounded by the ghosts of the children and Henry, William shows little to no fear, stating he knew the animatronics were possessed before killing himself with the Spring Bonnie suit, knowing he will come back.

  • Mega Collection: Freddy Fazbear is reimagined as a sapient animatronic that kills night guards to satisfy his own bloodlust, while pretending to be friendly and kind during the day. In the prequel "Beginnings", after accidentally killing a night guard, Freddy gains a murderous desire and forced his bandmates to kill night guards to him, resulting in dozen of deaths and the shutdown of the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Later, Freddy faked remorse to brutally kill Sparky when the latter let his guard down. Introduced during Night 4 of "Withered", Freddy captures Jeremy, killing him with a springlock suit; taunts Fritz—aka Michael Afton—about his brother Evan's death; and eventually stages the Bite of '87, resulting into the Toys being scrapped and the shutdown of the restaurant. Refurbished into the new restaurant, Freddy captured Kyle—the Phone Guy—to torture him for an entire week; tries to kill Michael; abuses his bandmates each night, even crushing Bonnie's muzzle when the latter tried to stand up against him; causes a power outage during Night 6; and frames Michael for Kyle's death, causing the latter to be arrested. Reactivated years later when Tracy and her friends snuck into the abandoned building, Freddy torments them and tries to kill them, succeeding at killing Tracy's young brother Aaron by breaking his neck, claiming "[her] lack of determination was pitiful" when she mourns him.
  • Mike's New Ghostly Family: William Afton is the man responsible for the entire Fazbear tragedy. Starting his crimes by creating Funtime animatronics to kill children in his stead, William inadvertently allowed Elizabeth to get killed by Circus Baby, her soul imprisoned inside an animatronic. Abandoning her to her fate, William kills his friend's daughter Charlie and five more children to subject them to the same fate. A horrible parent, William lets Evan suffer under Michael's abuse before finishing him off by unplugging his life support when Michael's prank severely injures him, and tries to corrupt Elizabeth into following in his murderous footsteps. Condemned to eternal suffering in Hell, William makes a wager with Nightmare to break apart the family his ghostly victims formed with Mike Schmidt out of spite. When that fails, William develops a violent grudge against Mike, teaming up with another demon lord to steal younger Nightmares' essences to become Nightmare Springtrap and escape from Hell to subject Mike to a Fate Worse than Death, trying to end ghostly Elizabeth's unlife when she turns on him in favor of Mike. Disgusting even his demonic tormentors, William Afton proves himself to be a monster in life, death, and damnation.
  • The Return to Freddy's: Alison starts out as the head of a drug mafia, before becoming a petty monster after getting his hands on a suit machine. Having already slaughtered the scientists who created it for not selling it to him, he soon opens up a restaurant to act as a front for his criminal deeds. A horrifically awful boss, anyone caught slacking would be sent to slave labor, being forced to worship a torture suit under the threat of being stuffed into a springlock suit and brutally killed. Alison also has a trio of animatronics slaughter any lazy slaves, themselves springlock victims tricked by Alison. Gaining a grudge against Gron for sabotaging his operation, Alison purposely slams his car into Gron's family car as revenge, sending the family to the hospital, where he shortly has a hitman kill Gron's wife in front of him, and years later would kill his eldest son in cold blood. Eventually, hacking into the government laboratory he raided, Alison has the helpless animatronics attack the guard, with the place eventually blowing up, taking years of research with it. Being responsible for the events of the series, Alison was a petty crook with a lust for power.
  • Save Them (link): William Afton is the former co-owner of Fredbear's Family Diner who grew envious of his partner, Henry, driving him to kill Henry's daughter, Charlie, and 5 other kids just to spite him, driving Henry to suicide. Years later, upon encountering the sole survivor of the killings, Mike Schmidt, he decides to kill him to tie up any loose ends. Killing Mike's parents just to send a message, he later kidnaps him and brings him to Fredbear's, where he reveals that he stole the corpses of Henry and Charlie to hide any evidence, as well as to spite him, shooting Mike In the Back before fleeing. Returning to the pizzeria, he forces the ghost children to do his bidding, putting them in unending agony, and breaks Henry's promise to not hurt Mike and Jeremy, having the spirits try and kill them, with Jeremy dying in the process. He then attempts to kill Mike as he's mourning Jeremy.
  • Something Always Remains: The Smiling Man, later revealed to be Greg Mortman, was a family friend of Bonnie Wickes, whom he felt entitled to have as his wife. To pursue a relationship, he murders her husband, Freddy, by burying him alive. When Bonnie still rejects him, he kills her by tampering with the locks of the Spring Bonnie suit she wore when working at Fredbear's Family Diner, painfully crushing her to death. When he later finds her niece, Vesper, suffocating in the Puppet's box, he leaves her to die out of spite for Bonnie. Dedicating himself to ruining Bonnie's legacy by tarnishing her restaurant's reputation, he murders four children at their new establishment. To frame him for the crimes, he also kills Jeremy Fitzgerald by stuffing him in the Spring Bonnie suit. Returning years later to wipe out any evidence of his crimes, he tries to kill Mike Schmidt and anyone else aware of his past, sadistically bragging that he'll murder Mike by stuffing him into the Spring Bonnie suit. Even when he's confronted by the spirits of his victims, the Smiling Man remains unrepentant of his crimes, even trying to turn the animatronics on Mike one more time.
  • Soul Tetralogy (link): Both sides of the Big Bad Duumvirate are equally evil:
    • Scott is a Serial Killer who kills people because he can. In Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Scott would use the Golden Freddy costume to lure five children to the backstage, where he would kill all but one of them, who managed to get away while Scott was busy cutting off one of his victims' body parts. When the Marionette tricks the four children into haunting the Freddy's animatronics, Scott would use chips containing viruses that make them aggressive at night to kill night guards, all while posing as the "Phone Guy", with implications he purposefully gave the guards bad hints to get them killed. Coming Back from the Dead as Springtrap, Scott would kill Mikayla "Mike" Schmidt, the sole survivor of his killings, by trapping her in the Golden Freddy costume and causing a springlock failure. A spiteful man who admits he loves chaos and destruction, his final act before eternal damnation in Hell was trying to stop Mike's son from saving his mother and allowing her to move on to Heaven.
    • The Marionette was hit with Adaptational Villainy. Seeking to have a "family" made of minions and puppets, the Marionette teams up with Scott to kill five children, trap their souls inside the animatronics, and brainwash them with a virus. Using this virus, the Marionette would use the animatronics as killing machines, having them hunt for night guards for an entire decade. Alongside this, when the animatronics befriended Jeremy Fitzgerald, the Marionette made Foxy hallucinate and think Jeremy is Scott, causing the robot to bite off the man's frontal lobe. When Mikayla "Mike" Schmidt is hired as the night guard at Freddy's, the Marionette would try to make the robots kill their best friend—and in Foxy's case, own sister—to stop her from freeing their spirits. Twenty years later, upon Mike's death and resurrection, the Marionette would try to kill her teenage son Robby II, brainwashing the animatronics—including Mike—once again to do so.
